This was not our first time staying at one of Motel One hotels, and once again, they did not disappoint. The service at reception was excellent, the room was very clean, and the location is very convenient. The metro station is just across the road, and it takes around 20 minutes to reach the center of Munich. I would especially like to mention Ceres, who works at the reception and bar. Her service was outstanding, friendly, professional, and truly appreciated. This kind of personal service should never be taken for granted. It's because of people like Ceres that we will gladly return again and again to Motel One hotels. One small suggestion for improvement would be to add a kettle in the room, which would make the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended.
There is not much to correct if any. We enjoyed the stay. A bit of an issue is the lack of dinner opportunities nearby

Great facilities, convenient location and very friendly and helpful staff. One minor point for improvement: the check-in information regarding room cleaning and whether breakfast was included could have been clearer.

Overall, a very nice stay. The hotel was clean, the rooms looked new, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, and the location was convenient to the train. The carafe of lemon water was definitely appreciated in the lobby. Overall a few minor concerns. First, for international travelers the hotel had no plug adapters for borrowing, which would be so nice after a long trip. Second, in my room the bathroom shower constantly had water spilling out of the pan as it sloped the wrong way and thus onto the floor. Despite these points, I enjoyed my stay, would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Everything about the stay was good. The rooms are a little bit small. An English language TV channel other than news would be a bonus. But we had a very good and comfortable stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Keira (apologies for spelling) stood out as particularly helpful and going the extra mile.
Liked the location and friendly welcome. Clean room and comfortable bed. A small wardrobe would have been great.
Top Service
On Friday midnight I asked if food was being served and got the reaponse “not really” along with the advise to order a delivery. I ordered a delibery which took 2h to arrive and I know it has nothing to do with the hotel. However, 15 min after I asked for food and was told it waa not possible, I say club sandwitches being served. Needless tp say how stupid that made me feel. Will think twice before booking Motel One again. A pity given it was my first choice in Munchen. Best, Jonida

The Hotel offers a good deal and has a good staff at the reception, helped us when we arrived at 2 in the morning. I will recommend this hotel for everyone for its all round 24/7 service. I will book you guys all the time.

Nice hotel close to public communication options. Not sure why it was quite expensive compared to other similar hotels I visited at Munich in the past ... but probably it was 'busy' time at Munich because some other 'entertainments' or 'venues'. One thing I missed in the room was at least one real glass made of 'glass' because two paper kinda glasses were in the toilet - which is very disappointing - but I came prepared and came with my own glass made of 'glass'. Fridge was missing which is a downside - many hotels in this or lower level provide a fridge in the room. Besides that - all was OK. I also liked the lounge bar which had nice amounts of tasty drinks. The breakfast could be more diverse but it was at least good. People in reception and bar were very nice and helpful also. Thanks.

The room was perfect for one night and I give a mention of honour at lunch which offered a huge choice. The thing that should be improved is the online check-in process. Nothing worked for us and the staff at the reception seemed to be aware that it doesn’t work...
The hotel is very nice, welcoming, people at front desk and at the breakfast service were really nice and professionnal. The room and bathroom were extra clean and the bed really comfortable. The breakfast was really good, with plenty of choice and really good products. I only regret that the room didn't have a kettle and some coffee/tea.
I will give a ten because i like this hotel. But, this time around we did not have any good AC so our room was to hot. I did not say anything which is my own fault so that is why you still get a ten.
Very nice rooms. Stuff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
Check-in process took forever even though we checked in online already. I have to admit it was the night drones shut down Munich Airport, so understandably the only person at the reception was very busy.
Nice calm hotel
The room was very clean and very comfortable but the highlight of this location is the incredible stuff from bar to reception and breakfast. Lori’s great fast acknowledge and very professional. Will always return with pleasure.

Overall it was good. Room for improvement for me would be the breakfast that did not have scrambled eggs which is something I would have expected.

We had a great stay at Motel One Garching! The hotel was very clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. A special thanks to Roxana from the breakfast team : her service was outstanding and made our mornings even better. Also, the housekeeping team made us feel truly welcome and at home. We’re sure we’ll return for another great experience!

My stay was satisfactory. The room was comfortable and fine, BUT I could have done with a bottle of water when I got in. To my surprise, it was not there. Staff on the 25 July and the morning of 26 July were very helpful, and I would like to say thank you to them. Staff on the 27 July: One of them was very helpful. But another one, an East Asia looking German lady, appeared determined not to be helpful. I explained to her that I had forgotten to bring a plug adapter and needed to charge my mobile. She said she I had to leave my mobile with her for charging. I explained that I needed to make some phone calls and asked if I could have it plugged in a place I could make my phone calls. She insisted that it was not possible. Reluctantly, I left my mobile with her and she took it to a room. I asked her to ensure that it was charging. She told me it was charging. I returned after a couple of hours hoping to have a charged mobile. When she brought the mobile, I realised that it had not been properly plugged in and had no charge. I asked the lady to give me the adaptor so I could charge it in the lobby. She flatly rejected that. It was at the intervention of another lady (and I thank this other lady) that I was allowed to have the adaptor to charge my mobile in the Lobby of the hotel in full view of the unhelpful lady. I was amazed that a hotel staff could be so determined to be unhelpful. I am a frequent traveller and have never encountered this type of behaviour from a hotel staff.
I haven't got the virtual invoice. The rest was ok.
