The negatives. I did stay for two nights and after the first night during cleaning all the towels had vanished from the room. I needed to call the reception for towels and it took one hour before towels were delivered to me. I was expecting more like 5-10 minutes. And of course a room without towels is a big no-no as such. The positives: Clean room, familiar and good Motel One design. Well maintained, close to U-bahn and a grocery store.
Clean and well structured.
We loved the property at Munich campus. We were very impressed with the friendly staff and beautiful furnishings. The technology manager stayed a bit later than 1700 to fix our television and this was much appreciated. The campus was spotless and full of good energy.
We booked a double but were given a single, when we complained, reception handed us an additional quilt and towels.
I found the atmosphere and personnel very lovely, but was not offered a water upon arrival, even though I'm a member and requested where to get it.
Arrived unexpectedly early and inquired if I an early check-in was possible, but was flat-out told that it's impossible in general. I don't feel entitled to an early check-in but would still have appreciated an attempt at flexibility and an effort to accommodate somehow. I wouldn't even have minded to pay for an additional night if I had gotten the room earlier.
A very nice hotel. Very clean, bed was comfortable. It would have been nice if the front desk had an adapter that guests could borrow.
Hotel tres confortable bien organisé Un seul grand problème. J ai réservé 7 nuits d affiliés. J ai payé chaque nuits différemment la même chambre ! Passant du simple au double ! Ce n est pas normal. Il faut un même prix pour toutes les nuits. C est un peu une arnaque .prix affichés 79 euros. Prix payé 149 euros. Le prix du petit dej est facturé les boissons et le reste. Un seul prix devrait être facturé.
Nice Hotel with a good welcoming Staff at reception.
This was the 77th Motel One I have stayed in, but not my favourite. The clientele seemed to be mainly groups, teams etc. and the bar was very busy and noisy and lacked the usual Motel One stylishness. However I must applaud the waiter who served me very promptly. I love the usual M1 concept for breakfast, but this hotel is so big that, when full, you get hundreds of people arriving at the same time for breakfast. You want cereal but there are no bowls left, then the milk has run out, and you can't find any spoons. And when you find a place to sit, you share your meal with the leftovers and dirty crockery from the previous breakfaster. Having said that, I had a nice quiet room high up at the back of the hotel. And it has its own car park.
The room was comfortable and the restaurant good. But I've asked for a thermometer to check my fever, and it wasn't available
i go to Munchen every month, sometimes 2 times a month but i book only this Motel One. I really like this hotel . Not just only the comfort and the good location but also the reception team. they are kind, solve every request Super Hotel and Super Team. 🌞
We paid in advance for air conditioned room. When we checked in, we were told room had AC, however we discovered for ourselves that this section of the building did not have AC activated. We barely slept first night. After seeking assistance from three different people the second day of our stay, the third person told us we were in the portion of the building that did not have AC and finally moved us to a room with active cooling. Rating would have been ten had we not experienced such discomfort on first night after traveling 20 hours to reach the hotel
Great Hotel; only the windows facing the main road are very noisy if you open them. Otherwise great spacious room
A fine Motel One but slightly unusual in that it’s the chain‘s training base. We had a few issues with check in, invoicing and ordering at the bar due to staff who were clearly new - but everyone was friendly and helpful, and more experienced staff always stepped in to sort things out. No real issues at all. Huge plus - it’s apparently the only Motel One with its own (very good) restaurant. Also the room rates can be seriously good value. I have important business clients nearby so will definitely be back 😀

Smell in the bathroom but when I complained I was not moved as the hotel was full. The iron supplied is a very basic model and not adequate to iron clothing Tues and Thur long waits for breakfast

I was in Munich to visit my daughter and could have felt more welcome at Motel One. Thank you all. I had a beautiful room on the 13th overlooking the city and was blown away by it all. I’d like to mention Abdel. He welcomed me every morning with a smile and made me feel immediately at ease with the German language and where to find my coffee 😉 he was an immediate friend and I appreciated that so very much.
Great location, wonderful staff - especially Ivan who is exceptional with every guest, very clean and a great breakfast food choice. This is my fourth stay here and I will be back next time I am in Munchen. Enjoy drinks at the bar and the outside terrace whenever you can. Thank you for making my stay great!
this email was sent in German, which I do not speak and that is the first improvement. Send emails in English to foreign guests! The stay was positive. I would improve the room by having a kettle in the room for a warm drink. Everything else was very positive.

It was satisfactory, but not great. We did not know the room would not have a small coffee pot or fridge in the room. The room was very small & we were there for 6 days. The staff was very nice & efficient.
Staff was friendly and helpful
on the 13th floor, south side, there is noise coming every 10 minutes. the sound might be from pumps. Not sure, but it can be irritating. at the reception, the staff is very friendly, and helpful ( I really like them). though, there is one person, who I feel has strange attitude. I observed this over 6 weeks, I stayed with you. (Not to mentioned previous summer holidays) !! sorry, but I have to say it for better future.
No warm water in the shower During the check in I was asked if I had paid already, this is something motel one should know without asking.
The shower switch was not swift. The holder for the plate on the shower pole was not sturdy.

It would be perfect if room has electric kettle. Please provide basic tea bag and instant coffee and electric kettle for guests convenience.

I have been to Motel One for various occasions and was most of the time happy with the experience. This time I arrived late with my family. The room we had on the 7th floor was close to the technical facilities and not usable. The sound from the tubes and vents was that loud that sleep was not possible. This room can not be used.
It's was our 2nd stay at a Motel one. First time was in Vienna. Also now everything was as expected. Very friendly and helpful reseptionist Valentino!!! But renting 2 bikes for 3 hours for 15 euro each was extremely expensive as the bikes were not in good condition. The tires were old, trimed and flat when we took the bikes from the hotel.
Hotel was very clean and great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was delicious.

Malgré de nombreux mail notre demande de réservation n’était pas correcte : pas de lit enfant dans les chambres et la personne de l’accueil était mal aimable. Les cartes pour les parkings ne fonctionnaient pas et nous avons dû prouver que nous avions bien payé car il ne retrouvait pas notre réservation à la réception Cela fait plus de 10 ans que nous venons au motel one mais ça pourrait bien être la dernière !
Hôtel très confortable et bien situé. Petit déjeuner au top et régulièrement approvisionné. Seul bémol : le restaurant était fermé le samedi soir. Dommage
Tout est parfait mais le bruit de la circulation venant de la Tegernseer Landstrasse me dérange et m’epêche de dormir. Il fait très chaud dans les chambres même quand on coupe le chauffage et c’est pour ça que je dors avec la fenêtre ouverte car en soi les fenêtres sont bien insonorisées.

Chambre et petit déjeuner très bien. Dommage que les prix au bar aient été augmentés autant. (verre de vin rouge à 10,50 €)
