Great position right next to the underground stop, the Allianz Arena and the city center are easily accessible using the U6. Our room was small but modern, practical and with a spacious shower: perfect for a few days!

Motel One Garching has as always very clean Rooms and Bathrooms, the Staff is still very friendly and also eager to help the Customer as well as holds a positive and motivated attire. Personally I am returning to the same Hotel every time I am in Munich for more than 10 Years. I have seen different at Motel One and any other Hotels, but Garching shows its possible even with more international and for sure cheaper labor staff. The only negative point is, as all companies and management become greedy after money and more salary, how come we pay already far more than Mote One has initially started EUR69,- per Night (except Octoberfest or Fairs and Football Turnaments) and its funny that still its not possible to train the Staff well or have people with a solid salary to also live around Munich? It is amazing how all are complaining, but they all especially the Motel One Management (Not the Hotel Management) cause these clashes and problems. its not what the Market demands from you, its what you want to return to the Market for a fair price and receive therefore forthcoming good customers. Maybe something to think about.

The only minimal reason I’m giving a 9 instead of a 10 is that the hotel is located quite far away from the city centre. However, the public transportation to the city centre is great. Other than that, my stay was perfect.

I had only one disappointment; I would have liked a coffeemaker in the room.
It would be great if there's a possibility of cool storage or refrigerator in the room. The coffee at the breakfast is not good unfortunately. Except from these all were good.
On our second day, there was poor replenishments for breakfast. E.g. eggs were never replenished. In addition, a customer spotted that two fruit baskets on a shelf were full of rotting fruit. The lady serving took the fruit basket down, but when the customer had left, she put the fruit basket up again, with the rotten fruit still in it. Not good. Not good at all! Otherwise, our stay was satisfactory, however, there was a lot of noise from the industrial area nearby. As the air condition did not work very efficientl, we had to sleep with the window open, and the noises from the outside became very present.
Hi All, It was perfect location for our business trip. Only 15mins walk from the office. The room was small, but it was clean and everything was great. The only thing I was missing was the bacon for the breakfast. :-D But it was ok. The rest was really good variation of everything. So overall 10 points. Perfect. :) Have a great day, Tom

I always try to use Motel One when I am away on work business. Simple, friendly, clean, good food and drink, reliable WiFi for work, near public transport - why be anyway else?

My wife and I stayed at motel one close to the Munich airport for several days at the end of our vacation. The site is very well kept and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. There is a bus station right behind the hotel giving great access to transportation. Although the hotel is near a bus station, the highway and an industrial park it is a surprisingly quiet location. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Charging 10 euros for a parking is outrageous, petty and cheap trick. When I complained, your receptionist tried also to insult my intelligence. That's not hospitality. Our ways will part because of that. There are other motels near you sufficiently good.
Staff good. Rooms OK. Seating space for breakfast poor.
I am usually at the MOtelOne MEsse in Munich that I find better because of deco and parking space in the garage. that explains the 8 and not 9 or 10. Overall the garage is really small. Otherwise, same expereince as in other motelone. All good.
I was at the hotel on 27th evening - all the staff were amazing and I got a free water bottle just because I had wait only for 2 mins - I forgot to check the names of the receptionist - I mean there were 3 people however on 28th morning - the reception was rude - she constantly spoke in German though I told her I couldn’t speak German well and made me wait for 15 mins to say ok “you have paid” - you folks are in hospitality industry and I would expect to be a bit responsible in how you talk to customers.

The Temperature in the room could not be changed, the ventilator makes morning and evenings big noise which is not normal when wake up tu have such a noise. Garching , Room 406
I need to make a booking urgently due to flight cancelled. The booking process is very easy. The hotel is very cosy and the breakfast if good.

The room is clean and nice. The reception is also nice and helpful. The Breakfast is good. I would like to recommend this hotel for a short business stay. One suggestion from my side for further improvement is to offer Mineralwasser in the room.

The MotelOne Garching is my favourite in Munich but it starts to loose Quality, Cleanliness and Maintenance in Style. That's the reason for reducing the Rating in 2023. The overall appearance of the Staff not wearing Uniform also shows a loss in Style and MotelOne known Standards. It would be nice not only to increase the rates but also maintain some standards.

Broken toilet cystern that was running all night. According to the receptionist a frequent occurrence at the hotel. Not really acceptable. Hotel overall not as nice as I have come to expect from other Motel One locations. Air conditioning quite loud, no proper breakfast tables, buffet located between entrance door, lift and reception desk. Still, comfy beds, quite light proof curtains, good quality breakfast and nice toiletries as always...
