My stay in Motel One was exceptional. The room was perfect. Everything looked new and clean and stylish. The service was outstanding. All staff were wonderfully helpful. The location was great. I look forward to staying again in this hotel as well as other Motel Ones in other European cities.

Everything was good, very friendly and efficient staff, very clean room, great location I would have given higher score if there were tea, coffee and a kettle in the room
Lovely hotel overall, good location, access from airport is perfect and proximity to major attraction is good with walking distance. Very Friendly reception even though I didn’t get to talk to them cause we did self check in. Only thing negative about this hotel was a pillow for me. Not my favorite but works for other people I suppose. And im not complaining but there was no gluten free bread for breakfast, I didn’t expect one so no problem, I had two hard boiled eggs. Thank you
I was disappointed to only have one bath towel in the room. As a solo traveller, if I am paying the same as two people for a room I expect the same they would get i.e. two towels, two cups in the bathroom. (If you gave two towels to every person maybe I wouldn't mind so much but hand towels are inadequate for long hair. If I have two cups I can use one for my toothbrush and one to drink from.) Your reception staff got me a towel quickly but when I tried to explain the issue just started telling me I was wrong, which isn't really a great way to deal with a customer issue. Then housekeeping removed my second towel and I had to ask again. For reference most hotels I stay in give you the set up for two people which I appreciate given I'm paying the same for the room as two people are. Similarly I booked via your website and BeOne but no mention was made of the complimentary water and I had to ask for that at reception also once I'd checked the email that I hadn't misremembered it as a benefit. I would appreciate an option to not have the TV come on with music and fish every time you come back to the room and put the key card in the slot, it is quite annoying. Other than that I thought the hotel was great, breakfast staff and lounge bar staff were all friendly and helpful. Housekeeping always said hello when you went past. Breakfast food was great. Checkout was efficient. Lifts came quickly.

Très bon séjour, chambre tip-top, situation dans Hambourg parfaite pour visiter, y compris à pied. Petits-déjeuners moins variés et gouteux que ceux d'une chaîne célèbre à Oslo et Stockholm dont le nom commence par "S".

Loved the stay, beautiful room and view over water. Only thing I missed was coffee/tea in room and maybe a water. We got a waterbottle gifted at the reception when asking for physical cards instead of digital key. Also the shower flooded the whole bathroom while showering even with the showerdoor closed
Everything was absolutely perfect
A small refrigerator in the room and more food options after breakfast would be nice. Also, my second brandy was much smaller than my first.

Very comfortable clean room with nice water view, good wifi, polite efficient staff, excellent location for transport (bus, S-Bahn) and sights such as main churches and harbourfront (Baumwall) in easy walking distance.
Whilst the staff friendliness, cleanliness, location and rooms (small minus was the sewage smell from one shower/bathroom) are perfect, the setup for breakfast is an absolute disaster. There are not enough proper tables so we regularly ended up (larger group - 2 adults, 1 baby, 1 child) sitting in the lounge on couches making a mess and not truly having a comfortable start to the day. It should also be in the interest of the hotel to rearrange the area and make the lounge smaller and have more dining tables. The setup of the buffet is also not ideal as cups and plates are in the shelves below the actual food so access to these is blocked by the queue for the buffet/coffee machines. I would like to give a very positive rating for Me Mutafi (not sure if spelled right), who manned the breakfast and bar usually and his female colleague (Da Costa?!, with brown long hair and grey/blue eyes), who were always super friendly / tried to help.
- Great staff, very friendly and also super quick quick with the check in - Rooms where tidy and felt super clean - Location is great and easy to reach - Unfortunately the room was very cold, as we were currently experiencing a rather cold summer. - Would love to find glas wear instead of the paper cups in the bathroom - Curtains were not black out curtains and it got quite bright in the morning + since the rooms are facing each other you'll need to close the curtains to change clothe or similar, otherwise everyone else can see you. - To round it up- having a gym or Sauna would be a huge plus

The hotel is in vey nice location in central , all within walking distance. We had a room on the secound floor which had deck chairs outside, which would have been nice but however our window door overlooking into another room. So if we sat outside we could see into the room if they didn’t draw the curtain. And vis visa. Overall place nice but disappointing about the room. I Had stayed in another room on 5 floor in May which was better, booked thro booking . Com. Not their app
Great location, clean and quiet. It would be great to find a bottle of water in the room. One of the last things you want to do upon arrival is running fown to the bar and have a drink…

We often travel through Germany and always stay at Motel one. It is fresh, soundproof, good quality and our children feel safe and at home in Motel one. Albert Murati was our breakfast host and he was welcoming, very service-oriented, and helpful to our children.
Great overall but lacking steam iron in the room
The only serious disappointment I had was that the AC was not adequate. It’s a new hotel and it should have triple glazed windows. Instead on the side that I stayed on, and I moved to a different room in the middle of my stay to no avail because it was too hot — was overlooking the small canal, not the main street. The sun blasted the room until 10+ p.m. in the late afternoon and evening and the hotel just never could keep up with the heat so there are problems with the construction of the building, the windows and the air-conditioning system. Very disappointing because that’s the reason I picked this hotel.
Tolle Lage des Hotels, bequeme Betten
Motel One is always my first recommendation for travel in Europe, especially Germany, and I've stayed at many of their branches across the continent, this stay was no exception in terms of comfort the hotel itself was nearly perfect. However, I was a bit disappointed with the value for money this time around. Compared to other hotels in the same area and price range, the facilities felt quite basic. There was no coffee machine, no complimentary water only one time, no hand cream, and no slippers provided in the room. They also don't offer airport transfer services, which many nearby hotels do include. On top of that, while housekeeping cleaned the room daily, they didn't change the bed sheets or duvet covers throughout my stay, which I found a bit off-putting. I chose Motel One out of trust and loyalty, honestly expecting a bit more in terms of amenities. Given the price, I think breakfast could also be improved, if I return to Hamburg, I'm not entirely sure I'd stay here again I'd probably compare other options more carefully next time.
A little bit disappointed at the breakfast compared to other Motel One hotels. Very nice waitress at the bar. Not so accomodating staff in the reception.

Excellent digital check in. Criticism regarding the room (572). It doe not provided enough storage and space for the cloths and luggage.A couple of hangers are definitely not sufficient for two people who arrive with wardrobe for an evening concert.

Although the hotel is well located and generally presents itself very well, I was disappointed by the overall customer experience. For a property at this price point, it should not be necessary to send three emails to obtain an update on a reservation and two additional emails to receive an invoice. In addition, I would have expected basic in-room amenities such as a coffee machine and a kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities. While the hotel has many positive aspects, the level of service did not meet my expectations, and I left feeling disappointed overall.
Séjour très agréable. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, dans une rue et un quartier calmes. L'accueil est courtois et professionnel, le bar très confortable et spacieux. Quant à la chambre que nous avions choisie, elle était propre, fonctionnelle et confortable, mais très peu spacieuse pour deux personnes.
I did not really like it. Tiny rooms, hotel tries to save each cent. No shoe horn in the room even, no refrigerator (obviously due to space, no wardrobe) but 150 Euro/night + parking 21 euro/day with no guaranteed parking slot! + 18 euro breakfast just for the bun and croissant with a drink. And on the last day at 10 a cleaning lady come 2 hours earlier before check out (yes, I had the do not disturb sign). Thanks, the room was clear and I really liked the mattress.

Friendly Staff all around, clean hotel, nice selection at the bar. The rooms are tiny, and are missing a few essentials, so keep that in mind. the location is near perfect for a weekend getaway. All in all had a very pleasant stay in a more than reasonably priced hotel.
Our stay at the hotel was very pleasent. The location and the kindness of the staff were something that i will remeber. My only remark is on the size of the room . It is cosy, but small.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located perfectly. We had a room with a beautiful view. It would be a 10, if there was no carpet floor.
It was my first visit to Hamburg, and thanks to this hotel, everything was wonderful: comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. If I ever go back, I definitely know where to stay.

Le plus important: > aucun espace de rangement, a minima des étagères et/ou une 2eme chaise, pour étaler un minimum ses affaires personnelles. > une grande salle de bains mais pas d’espace pour poser ses affaires ! Est-ce le cas (1 et 2) dans toutes les chambres ou uniquement dans les chambres adaptées aux personnes en fauteuil roulant ? ===> J’apprécierais une réponse en retour sur ce point ! 2. Tolles Hotel - super Lage - Super Personal
L'hôtel est propre et agréable. La situation de l'établissement est parfait pour découvrir la ville et le parking est un point positif. Pour moi il manque juste un petit plateau de courtoisie (thé et café).
Trois points concernant le petit déjeuner: 1. trop peu de machines à café - il fallait toujours faire la queue 2. trop peu de chaises et tables 'normales' - le prendre dans une ambiance 'fauteuil-bar-apéro' peu comfortable 3. pour un petit déjeuner bio - réclamé par les serviteurs! - les "Brötchen" classiques allemandes et la charcuterie allemande étaient décevant
Hôtel très bien situé à Hambourg. Proche stations de métro. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Jolies chambres modernes et très propres.
Chambres Joliment décorées, vue et environnement plaisants. Calme, climatisation et rideaux occultants fortement appréciés ! Bonne literie. Il manque juste un petit frigo et une bouilloire dans les chambres et tout serait parfait !
