We had stayed here for a week and I would like to say that we had a wonderful time here in this hotel . Highly recommended!
The hotel was very convenient, clean and safe. We would stay there again.
Most of the hotels now have shamooos , co ditioners and body lotions. Also the option to co ect to different streaming channels
Excellent stay. Extremely helpful and considerate front desk. I look forward to my next visit.
Guter Standard.
Pls consider the remarks and comments in the booking.
The check in process was smooth, the room clean and comfortable. I did find it strange that I was told that the air conditioning in the room didn't work, but I was very aware that the hotel doesn't really have a traditional air conditioning system and therefore the room can only be cooled a couple of degrees. They offered to cancel the reservation for me. I assume this was because it was very hot outside and they knew some guests would complain, but in fact the room wasn't too hot at all.
To me this is the best place to stay at in Berlin. It offers Greta location, great high end design, high end service and clean and comfy rooms, all for great money value. I travel with my young kids and they stay in my room for free, this even adds to the value-for-money. I love the bar on the 18th floor which offer a great view to the city. Also it’s very easy to book and pay at the property. They also offer to stir the luggage at the hotel which is very helpful if you want to stay longer in the city abut don’t want to take all the luggage with you. Big thanks to the staff members who have been very helpful since the first minute till the check out (Liv, Charlie and all the front dear members). Simply the best place to stay at in Berlin- every time.
I've been staying with Motel One for almost 15 years. I remember when rooms were €60 a night. The price point has climbed up and up past €110 per night while the hard product has remained almost exactly the same. I remember Motel One being a good value hotel - now it's beginning to out-price itself for what is a 16 square metre room
Very good.
It is a clean hotel; not as luxurious or well kept as the pictures, The skybar and roof terrace are nice. The location is central but I would not want to walk around the area.
I had an issue with my air conditioning in my first room. Despite complaining multiple times at the reception about the same no action was taken despite the heatwave. Finally a technician came and fixed it and the air conditioning worked for a few hours before it stopped working again. One of the staff at the receptionist was very unhelpful, rude and condescending. Instead of helping and listening to me, he just handed me a small fan which did not help cool down. Finally after complaining 6-7 times towards the end of my stay, my room was changed to one with working air conditioning.
Really nice and cosy Hotel in the city center. Quite during the night, abosolutely friendly people at the reception desk and at breakfast room. Excellent breakfast choice. A bit expensive but worth it.
No place to sit and work on a table with a MacBook (not in the room and not in the lobby), room was very warm because the AC had issues
All staff were extremely helpful. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm as another room similar to the one allocated to us was available. We were able to get train tickets printed by the receptionist and able to leave our luggage after checking out as we had a late flight. Nothing was a problem.
I didnt receive my invoice
It would be great if there was a coffee corner in the room.
very good location, great roof top bar and very friendly staff. The One Lounge was a bit crowded at breakfast and the space of the One Lounge seem not to be sufficiently designed for the number of hotels guest - there would be room for improvement with an extension etc. I had a double room for 1 person, which was big enough. For 2 persons, it would be rather cozy. If you book via email, your booking cannot be added to your BeOne account - if that could be changed, it would be great.
Room is clean, small but nice. But with this price would like to have more products (like the classic ones, conditioner, sewingkit etc) in bathroom, and also those papercups are horrible! Most people like to drink fex water at night, and papercups leak easily. Few cups and watercooker would not be bad. But staff is nice and location good!
Perfect location
Overall, very happy stay at the Alexanderplatz Motel One. Excellent staff, very friendly and prices are reasonable and fair. Suggestions: more nutritious breakfasts would be welcome. It would also be helpful to have a direct line to the desk from a room; its a hassle to walk down whenever you had a question.
very clean, helpful and smile staff , very central everywhere
Maintenance works should informed during reservation. And flexi prices are idiotism.
Location is excellent. It would be nice to get a bottle of water in the room and /or water kettle to prepare tea/coffee. Given the hotel price having none of that is rather disappointing. Also the breakfast is not outstanding. The rooms are perfectly clean and functional, small though. But in comparison to other Motel Ones this experience was indeed a bit disappointing as there are really no complimentary additions. Would stay again nevertheless, of course.
Friendly professionals. Clean rooms and sheets and great pillows. Extraordinary view over the city to watch sun set. Close to train station, everything.
Placement, cleanness and serves !
had a lovely stay - everything was perfect service from the rooms to the reception to the bar! a special thank you to chris on reception, who was very genuine and friendly throughout our stay, and the gentlemen working in the rooftop bar with glasses and dark hair, who was so lovely and kind! will definitely be back
Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz is the perfect place to explore Berlin. You can go to most of the sights by foot and the S-Bahn and underground is very close by (3-5 minutes). You also have a direct connection from Alexanderplatz to the airport (S9 - very convenient). The hotel and rooms are very modern, clean, quiet and the staff is super friendly. Especially the bar at the top gives you a great overview about Berlin and at evenings you can see the different lights of the city. We had a great view from our room to the Fernsehturm - Motel One Berlin thank you very much for the great rooms! It was a great first visit birthday Berlin experience for my father and I will come back soon! I can really recommend Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz!
Motel One Alexanderplatz lived up to my positive and memorable experiences of Motel One is Leipzig, Dresden and Copenhagen ie friendly and welcoming staff, clean and well designed rooms and excellent breakfast offerings. We would particularly like to acknowledge and thank Viktoria who changed our room to one with a sweeping view of the tower on a day when the hotel was more busy than usual due to the football finals. This was a real treat as we were staying for ten nights. But all the staff are friendly and welcoming.
EXCELLENT - AS EVERY STAY AT A MOTEL ONE IS
Motel one is always good idea, comfortable and clean rooms, good location! Helpfull staff. Thank you MO!
Sehr relaxed.
The overall rating results from the room itself: it was very small, too small indeed for 2 people plus suitcase. From the number of towel sets and bed sheets (which we had to order an additional pair each) it also looked like this room had been rather considered for 1 person than for 2. First time I got disappointed in my stays with motel-one.
The location is excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly! The reason I’m giving 7, and not 10, is that the room was great, but it was very, very dusty. There was also a lot of collected dust in some of the furniture. That was our only problem.
Excellent hotel. Great central location. Reception staff brilliant 🤩
Lack of shelving / storage but clean, safe, excellent location and polite professional staff.
Very clean and comfortable room, great location. Basic facilities in the room, at a minimum would expect coffee/tea making facilities but there was nothing.
Good room, nothing fancy and sufficient for the purpose.
rooms were silent enough, though the beds remain too hard. Temperature was very well in room! The fact that the restaurant area was being renovated was quite disturbing.
I did not enjoy this hotel. The rooms are ridiculously small and loud. The bathroom is so small you can’t dry your hair with a blow dryer without hitting your elbow against the wall. There is a lot of noise from the street and a lot of noise from the second floor bar/Terrace. The hotel is very dark. The staff was very pleasant and the bar on the 18th floor was nice for cocktails. It is centrally located next to the Alexanderplatz train station and the Berlin Convention Center. I stayed there for a conference, but would not stay there by choice.
Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms. A minibar or small fridge would be welcome.
Great location. Street noise was heard in our room. Room was quite small.
Although I didn't have to check in at the reception because I already did my mobile check in, I still went to the Front Desk to check in as I had a few questions. The staff who checked me in was cold, unwelcoming and unpleasant. She made me feel as if I was wasting her time. Later on when I inquired about the check out process and on the day of check out, I made sure to avoid her. Her other colleagues were different. They were pleasant and welcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day or dealing with some personal issues. Because of her, my first impression of Motel One was "bad". Another reason I will not choose Motel One again because there is no kettle in the room. It was cold and rainy in Berlin during my stay. It would have been nice to make some hot water with a kettle. I ultimately drank the hot water from the tap because this unpleasant staff said it was ok to drink hot water from the tap. On my previous trips to Europe I stayed at Mercure, Holiday Inn and Premier Inn. As I was exploring the cities, I came across Motel One and noted that it is another chain that I have not seen in Canada and Asia. That's why on this trip I decided to try it out.
Clean, comfortable, fantastic location, friendly & helpful staff
Motel One at Alexander Platz is most conveniently located in one of the busiest parts of Central Berlin in proximity to a major node of public transport, major cultural venues and shopping facilities. Friendly service, a clean and quiet room as well as a comfortable lounge make the stay very enjoyable.
The Hotel was nice, but the area close by a bit dodgy. We felt unsafe and the hotel did not turn on the lighting outside which strengthened the sense of unease.
Great stay. Only issue I had was that’s the mattress was a little too hard for me. But that’s just personal preference.
Super Service!
I can 100% recommend Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz.
It was the first time I stayed in a hotel that dident provide shampoo in the bathroom.
