great stay, nice and clean room, friendly staff!
Gutes Motel One.
An amazing stay at Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz. On arival our room was upgraded to a panoramic view on the top floor, and free drink tokens were provided as it was my birthday. The room was fantastic, the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was plentiful, fresh and delicious!
Very clean and modern hotel in a strategic position
Very good accomodation for a short holiday in Berlin. Cleanliness and value for money are the best pros. I recommend this hotel.
i have always Chosen motel one when i am on travelling. This time at Alex was the BEST. the lady in the front desk was extremely friendly and gave me an upgrade as she saw i have already booked 100 times at Motel one. Besides that, she offered me a sunday later checkout and everything is perfect
Meget fint hotel med gode værelser og central beliggenhed. Eneste minus var morgenmadsbuffet, som var ret overfyldt.

Great central place in Berlin easy access to S Bahn and U Bahn. Bit slow re staff at Breakfast but a decent one as a buffet.

The Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz is very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the location is excellent for getting around the city and for connections to the airport. II really liked how friendly the reception staff were, as well as the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast.
We arrived at the Motel One Alexanderplatz early to store our luggage. The staff greeted us warmly and informed us that our room would be prepared. However, it was not ready, and we were upgraded to the “One with a View” room. This was an unexpected but welcome upgrade. The hotel room was compact, clean and well-equipped. It was exceptionally well-decorated and upmarket. The hotel featured a lounge and bar on the second floor. It was unique with its bespoke decor and furniture, mood lighting and outdoor space. The service was exceptional, with bar staff greeting us and inviting us to sit. They offered a wide selection of drinks, and we frequently visited the bar before dinner. The hotel also has a rooftop bar on the eighteenth floor, which was popular and provided the same excellent service and panoramic city views. Breakfast was continental and provided a comprehensive start to the day. Overall, this was our first stay at a Motel One hotel, and it will certainly not be our last. It is an ideal base for exploring Berlin, conveniently located near Alexanderplatz. We intend to return to Motel One Alexanderplatz for our next visit to Berlin.

Value for money, excellent location.
Rooms were small but clean and well equipped. We booked one room with a view which was great. We would have appreciated an explanation of the heating/cooling system, as the room got very hot so we had to choose between a quiet hot room or a noisy cool room with the window open. The other amenities were good, we enjoyed breakfast and the selection was plenty. The rooftop bar was nice and well-furnished, however we waited nearly an hour for three cocktails, with no apology. The rest of the staff were great, and we appreciated being checked in early.
The location is excellent and the price was good. There were several fingernails on the carpet when I arrived to the room - they need to vacuum and be more attentive to cleaning.
Excellent service all around
The hotel was very clean and very central, the bed was very comfortable the 18th floor bar had a fabulous selection of gins. The bedroom itself was incredibly small and would put me off staying again or requesting another bigger room if this was an option ?

Hotel is in a great location, walking distance or quick public transportation access to everything. Staff are cheery and helpful. Bar on 18th floor is good fun.

There were no USB-C connectors to charge a phone in the room. Breakfast is quite basic without hot food. Nice view from the rooms however rooms are quite small. I couldn't get a TV programmes showing for some reason.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Alexanderplatz hotel, in particular the lounge area = very stylish and the cocktails were delicious! I will need to return when the Roof Terrace is open. The one area that really needs improvement - is the clearing away of breakfast plates when customers have finished with them, this was also an issue at a recent stay at a motel one in Manchester. Just because you have a buffet style breakfast with clients serving themselves, you still need to have staff going around regularly - like every 10 minutes - during the breakfast time to clear dirty plates. Otherwise as has happened at all motel one that I have stayed at so far - guests come down for breakfast and cannot find anywhere to sit which has a clean table - not a nice start to the day! I also heard other guests complaining about this too, so I hope it will be something that motel one sorts out soon - then I will be able to give a 10/10.
The bathroom ventilation could be stronger, it steams up quite quickly
The hotel location is excellent and very reachable by using any means of transportation. The rooftop bar is nice. Service staff and reception were friendly. However, the standard rooms are extremely minimalistic. No kettle, no phone, no hand or body lotion and no desk. Also, bottles of water are only available to those guests who book directly with them. Many of them would not be knowing about this beforehand. I did not get a bottle, there were no water dispensers in the hotel elsewhere and the tap water was tasting funny. So it created a bit weird situaton for me.
In general we had a great time. We did the late Sunday checkout and were disturbed 3 times by room service asking when we were leaving. The shower temperature kept switching from extremely hot to cold causing us to nearly burn ourselves with the temperature changes.

Very clean, staffs are friendly and great breakfast. Single room are bit small but enough for one person travelling for business or visit.
Very clean, and very well situated. Everyone that I met has been lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of choices. But the bed wasn’t very comfortable, mattress and pillows were too stiff. After 5 nights, I came back home with a stiff neck. Also, it would be nice to have hair conditioner.
I booked on the website of the hotel, after I had a phone call w/ the reception, during which I was promised a lower floor (2nd floor), in the booking I wrote an explicit request for lower floor. Then I was bombarded w/ automatic emails (absolutely unnecessary stress) — in none of which the lower floor was mentioned. Then I had to explicitly write to the reception to ask for confirmation. They replied that "my request was added to the booking" — without any information what exactly was added and if really a 2nd floor. Eventually it was a 2nd floor, but the whole experience cost me such a stress, that I am not sure I will book MotelOne again. Besides, I cannot use an elevator and your staircase is horror — full w/ building materials and equipment, the fire sensors are disabled w/ plastic gloves, the air is unbreathable. Horror. Horror.
the lounge and working spaces are exceptional and a nice little oasis at the somewhat crowded and busy alexanderplatz in berlin. the rooms are standard motel one which is a good thing. i really like the design of the chain.
Bad experience. Dont stay here if you are from aisa. Not welcome.

Location is good and also 1 of the main reasons to pick the motel. Bathroom is really tooooo small. And a TV in the room? For what? The TV is almost bigger then the bathroom. No coffee or tea hot water boiler. I prefer that more then a TV. Who watches (german) tv anyways nowadays? Because we went with friends to berlin and is really central to take public transport quickly out of town. But hte price and specially the poor bathroom makes me consider a new place next time.
The hotel is in such a great location- an historic area in terms of reunification. The transport links are literally outside the hotel. Excellent fuss free check in and out. Room was immaculately clean. The staff very polite and helpful. Excellent value for money. I shall most certainly return.

Hi there, lovely hotel. The one downer was the taxi afterwards that the hotel booked for me. First the taxi driver wasn't sure if I was his fare so I had to go back to reception to check. Then when we arrived at the airport and it came to payment the taxi driver tried to say that there was a problem with my card. I showed him that it was actually a problem with his SumUp device. I offered to pay using Apple pay - same excuse from the driver that it was now my phone that was the problem. I showed him again that it was his SumUp device. He hadn't turned on the meter for the journey, and obviously wanted a cash job. This was a big inconvenience for me as I have to manage travel expenses through my company card. In future please book a taxi driver who will turn on the meter from the beginning of the journey, and not one who just wants a cash payment. Apart from that, a lovely stay! Dan.
morgenmad er velassorteret og appetitlig supergod bar med lækre cocktails rent og nydeligt værelse, ingen støj fra gangene dejlig beliggenhed midt i byen
Få pladser til morgenmad. Gerne noget mere skandinavisk style på morgenmaden med alternative brød/ boller. Æggekage/ spejlæg mm. Nydelig kaffe. Venlige tjenere.
Kunne godt have tænkt os noget mere variet morgenmad
Dejligt værelse, flot udsigt fra 18 etage, god brunch.
7 Hurtig indtjekning virker slet ikke - havde lavet alt men stod i kø 20 min ved skiltet - så ringe. Morgenmad er ok men slet ikke 17 euro pr dag - alt for dyrt desværre
