Great location, large comfy rooms, stylish bar area and friendly staff. Wish you would offer tea and coffee in the rooms - only complaint!

Hotel staff are so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The location is convenient and the rooms comfortable with a delicious breakfast buffet! Reasonably priced. We will definitely stay there again!
Cosy, Clean and very central.
Motel One Madrid is in a fantastic location with all attractions within walking distance. There are a large number of affordable restaurants near the hotel, as well as two self-service grocery stores. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are much larger than you would expect from Motel One, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Plus, the rooms have a small fridge, which is not a typical feature of Motel One. What could be improved is the soundproofing, as noise from nearby cafes reaches the rooms until around 1 am. Also, there are no carpets in the rooms, which I am used to in Motel One, and the duvet is very tightly tucked in, so it takes about five minutes to pull it out. I recommend placing it as in other hotels in the chain - folded on the bed. These are really minor quibbles, I always feel great at Motel One, like I'm at home.

Motel One is consistently good for short breaks, Location and proximity to Transport and Staff attitude are all good. A special thanks to the Barman who helped my wife with a minor problem. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice, quiet, modern hotel with excellent location, but a few things could’ve been improved like water/coffee/kettle in the room; lighting on terrace; price (I paid 478€ for two nights, which is higher than other weekends including Los Reyes in January 2025!..); size of the rooms.

Location is perfect. You can do all center of the city by walking. Hotel and room very clear. Staff is friendly and available to help at any time. Breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend.
Hotel rooms are renovated. Well designed. Building from outside may seem a bit old but insider quite modern. Location is extremely perfect. Close distance to main streets. Plaza de Espana is about 300m away. Breakfast is delicious and has variety of foods. Strongly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Madrid.

We have stayed in The Motel One Plaza España for the second time now with all of our colleagues, 25 people. The service and attention of Héctor and his staff members is just FANTASTIC. They all attend you with a smile and a helping hand, every single day. We can recommend this hotel with a big 10. The cleaning, the breakfast, the service....a big THANK YOU again to all of you at The Motel One. We will be back next year !

This was a nice hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern, the parking garage was super convenient, and the breakfast was good. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. It was close to Plaza de Espana and a beautiful park where you can see the sun rise and set. Also only about a 10 minute walk to the castle and the plaza mayor. The only negative thing was there was a strong smell of sewage in the lobby when we were there.

The overall experience was very good and the location is great.
Staff were extremely friendly n accommodating. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms as there are in some other motel ones however prices in the bar are very reasonable. The step from the room to the balcony is quite high n another step should probably be put in there.
The room is clean and kept. Our room balcony doesn't feel safe, there's access from another rooms balcony. Staff is not so welcoming compared to Barcelona staff.
Overall it was good except that I can hear the shower and flush of the rooms beside me (on both sides) and any movement they make (doors closing etc) also when they talk (echos of it).
While my stay was mostly pleasant, one downside was the noise in the mornings. Starting from 9 AM, it became quite loud due to the staff cleaning and carrying out other tasks, which made it difficult to sleep in or relax. If you're a light sleeper, this is something to be aware of, as the noise can be disruptive.
I love this hotel group. Madrid hotel was wonderful. Very helpful staff- especially Hector who helped me get my bag from Finnair.
I liked alot of things about the hotel. Especially the staff! But maybe the breakfast could have been a bit better(dry bread and better coffee for ex). That's all!
Quick and easy booking. The offer of a free cab from the airport via booking.com was attractive, too. Nice, spacious and clean room and bathroom (although there was a problem with the faucet - water came out splashing hard)
Great location, great breakfast. Good spacious rooms. Very friendly staff. I also want to specifically point out your cleaning crew. I had the sign on my door that I won’t need daily cleaning and towel change. One of your team, I think she was called Felicitas, made sure to welcome me and introduce herself, and said to contact her if I need anything. It was such a charming and nice welcome by her, and I really appreciated it. I know that the cleaning crew is usually almost invisible to guests, so I wanted to make sure that you know how wonderful they are.
The shower could be a bit cleaner but that’s all. 99€ for the room includ. Breakfast was a fair price!
Very well located. The room was very spacious. The breakfast excellent.
I liked this Motel One because it was different from all the others. The breakfast, check-in and bar staff were all professional and friendly. Housekeeping could be improved. I was there 5 nights: they did not change my sheets, they were slow to get to my room, and on arrival, the toilet seat was dirty to the touch. Though free, your WiFi is insecure and poses an unacceptable risk of hacking (so said my antivirus program which warned against using it).
Great Motel with a Hotel feel. Parking very accessible, this was a plus for us. Walking distance to Plaza de España and La Gran Via. The only fix I would do is moved the door stopper on the bathroom floor or install something else. We stubbed our toes going in and out of the shower several times during our stay. Other than that it was very nice

Lovely modern hotel in both the public areas & bedrooms. Excellent central but quiet location with plenty of great cafes, bars & restaurants within a few minutes walk. Staff were very friendly and halpful, noth8ng was too much trouble
I've had a truly pleasant stay at Motel One-Plaza de Madrid. They gave an excellent world class service. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast buffet is incredible, and the staff are all nice and kind. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. Lastly, this is the only hotel I'd stay at if ever I visit Madrid again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Love from The 🇵🇭

Lovely hotel. The staff are wonderfully friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and appealing - the beds and pillows in particular were super comfortable. The continental breakfast was great, freshy prepared and lots of choice, good tea and coffee making facilities. The bar of an evening was a welcome retreat to return to, reasonably priced, comfortable, pleasant surroundings and great bar staff. The cocktails were good! I would recommend this Motel One for visitors to Madrid - ten out of ten for us, thank you Motel One.

The hotel is in a very good location, rooms are large and comfortable. The only problem is a strange smell coming from time to time.
Super helpful team on site. I arrived early at 930 and they found me a room, even asking if I wanted to wait a while so I could have one on a higher floor.
We have stayed for five nights. Modern and very clean hotel, convenient location close to metro & bus and in walking distance to the heart of the city. Very friendly staff. We can definitely recommend it.
Toilet was dirty when I arrived. the ceiling above window is in a very bad condition. reception was very friendly. I would definitely stay again here
