A good day starts with a good breakfast

When selecting items for our breakfast buffet, we prioritise organic and Fairtrade products. In all Motel One hotels in Germany and Austria, all cheese and cold meats, bread and rolls, eggs, fruit, tomatoes and gherkins, amongst other items, are of organic quality. Cheese, milk, butter and yoghurt come from the Bavarian Alpine foothills. The coffee is organic and Fairtrade.


Partial organic certification in accordance with DE-ÖKO-037 (Germany) or AT-BIO-902 (Austria).


In our hotels outside Germany and Austria, we serve a continental breakfast buffet. The selection varies depending on the country. Regional and organic products in our other hotels

Vielseitiges Frühstück mit Pancakes, Rührei, Bacon, Brötchen, Croissant, Joghurt mit Früchten, frischem Obst, Marmelade, Säften und Kaffee, liebevoll angerichtet auf einem Tisch.
Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet mit frischem Obstsalat, verschiedenen Müslisorten, Honig, Marmelade, frischen Orangen, Kräutern und Getränkespendern für Wasser und infused Water. Gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre.

Organic food at the buffet

In Germany and Austria, our range of organic products includes, amongst other things:

  • Bread & pastries: bread, bread rolls, croissants, marble cake
  • Savoury items: cheese, sausage and ham, cottage cheese, boiled eggs*
  • Fruit & vegetables: fresh fruit, tomatoes, gherkins, ginger and lemons
  • Muesli: Oat flakes, granola, toppings such as sunflower seeds, cranberries and linseeds
  • Sweets: Jam, honey, sugar and Bionella nut nougat spread (made with hazelnuts, cocoa, cane sugar and palm oil from organic farming, Fairtrade certified)
  • Drinks: Coffee (organic and Fairtrade), apple juice, oat drink, coffee cream; Fairtrade orange juice

* Across the Group, our eggs are of at least free-range quality. In Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands, they are 100 per cent organic. We do not use any egg products.

Vegan breakfasts

All vegan products are labelled on the buffet. As well as fruit salad, cornflakes and porridge, there is vegan organic rye bread and organic bread rolls, jams, Bionella and vegan organic spreads from Zwergenwiese.

  • Organic plain soya yoghurt
  • Plant-based alternatives to Gouda, feta and paprika sausage
  • Organic oat, organic soya and organic almond drinks
  • Organic apple juice and Fairtrade orange juice, coffee and tea
