Love the Place !! Always perfect
Alles super
Great place to stay. Clean and cosy!
Very good. Helpful reception, good location clean room
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly, the room was simple but perfect and spacious enough. The bathroom was clean and the hair drier was amazing! The breakfast is totally worth the price and I will definitely return with my husband next time, but I will definitely book a room with a view.
Hello, Room cleanliness, size, breakfast, location of the hotel, all of these were good. It met my expectations and I got the value for the money I gave. I had a small setback that I said would have been good if it hadn't. I booked 2 rooms, I did not share the detailed information of 4 people during the reservation phase. When it comes to the payment, although I stated the age of my daughters in the registration, a fifty percent discount was not given for the breakfast written in the general rules. It was shown that I did not specify their ages during the reservation. Although I did not write the guest information at the entrance. I made a reservation in the same way for Dresden and Leipzig on the same day, the necessary discount was made in both hotels. It is not an important figure, but I felt the need to specify because I thought it was on the initiative of the friend on the registration
Great value, great location, crowded at breakfast, but good turnover of food by staff.
My stay went very smoothly , a warm welcome, very comfort room and easy check in and out
I would have rated higher overall but to say that I was surprised that the bar staff could not serve me something as simple as a glass of white wine was appalling at the very least! Having been told that there was no white wine available, by a very embarrassed barman, my husband, friend (who is a Glasgow restaurant owner!) and I went elsewhere. This is surely exceedingly bad business practice.
Everything you need in a perfectly central location, only minutes from Waverley train station. Best accessible room I’ve ever stayed in: spacious, clean, wet room with stool, plenty grab rails and no lip between bedroom and wet room, so easy to get into toilet/wet room in wheelchair.
Hotel was lovely to stay at being quite busy but didn't hear a thing once in room which was very clean and warm. This is my second stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
I loved this property and would definitely come back .
The staff at the reception are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and room clean…couldn’t ask for more really!
Alles gut
Excellent staff. Efficient and friendly. I would suggest that water and tea/coffee facilities should be complementary in the rooms
Wonderful stay in the centre of Newcastle. Excellent reception, all staff warm and professional. Room, small, but very well designed and didn't feel cramped. The well thought out choice of pillows made a difference!
Alles prima!
Hot water, coffee or tee missing in the room !
Great location. Value for money
We enjoyed the warm welcome and the relaxed atmosphere in the entrance area. The room was quiet and simple, just what we needed. We will return soon.
Extremely friendly reception staff, nice room, good breakfast.
Efficient check in, warm welcome, consistent and comfortable rooms to a good standard. Bad smell on drains in the bathroom on my last stay that I reported the reception. Feedback was well received by your reception staff giving me confidence that you care about your customers and want to improve. I don’t like the plastic tea cups! I brought my own mug this time.
A very nice, clean, quiet hotel in the heart of Aachen. Our group of five adults had three rooms, and all rooms were clean & comfortable. All five of us were very satisfied with this hotel and we will definitively stay here when we travel to Aachen again. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. There was a nice breakfast offering that had everything we needed; but there were not enough tables in the breakfast room so we had to sit in the lobby area (just like many others at the 8 am rush hour – which did not bother us).
We visit Edinburgh every year and love this hotel, situation is perfect, rooms are lovely and the staff are really helpful and friendly.Personally we wouldn't stay anywhere else.👏👏
Lovely staff, great location and great stay
The price-to-value gap at this hotel is enormous. For a nightly rate of €200-€250, the offerings are extremely limited and basic. The room was disappointingly small, including the bed and bathroom. Furthermore, the hotel lacks crucial amenities expected at this price point, such as a gym, swimming pool, or sauna. The cost appears entirely unjustified given the limited facilities. The breakfast also underperformed relative to the price; it consisted of only basic items and lacked better selections (e.g., smoked salmon) typically provided at hotels charging this rate. I believe this level of accommodation and service is more appropriately priced in the €100 to €150 range. Due to this experience, I will not be booking this hotel for my next business trip.
The hotel does everything it says on the tin. Great bed, great shower and really friendly and helpful staff. We arrived on a very rainy evening and as we had booked parking we were promptly guided to the car park. Check in was straight forward and we were soon in our room and relaxing. The hotel is a few seconds walk from the centre of Manchester which was perfect for our Christmas shopping spree.
Very nice staff. Funky furniture and comfy beds.
Nice room, good price, close to where i as going, no complaints👍
Lovely hotel. Great value for money and helpful staff. Will definitely recommend to friend and family.
Great, like always!
Nice hotel, beautiful room, good breakfastclose to the station, only there was a faint sewery smell in the bathroom that was really annoying. Receptionist told me they would fix it when I checked out
Very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and really pleased that there's a kettle in the rooms which is a great bonus as not all hotels do!
The location couldn’t be better. The room is not large but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small, yet very clean. Check-in was smooth, and as a member, the late check-out until 3pm was extremely helpful.
Excellent situation. Helpful friendly staff. Clean room with great view. Good breakfast. Easy check in and out. Room very noisy ( outside noise) and cold.
Excellent service and cleanliness as usual. Can never fault the service we receive
Love the hotel, location ,rooms ,comfortable bed and general hospitality.
Really nice hotel, has everything you need. Two things for the room that I would have liked: 1) decaf tea bags 2) a spoon to stir your tea with
Alles ok
The location was great- the hotel was brand new and very clean. However we have some suggestions for improvement 1. It would help to have a complimentary bottle of water on arrival as well as an espresso machine or kettle with some mugs for coffee/tea 2. The absence of some basic toiletries like a shower cap and body lotion was keenly felt 3. The staff (servers, cleaners etc.) could benefit from some basic training on friendliness and courtesy- especially as yours is the hospitality industry
Great hotel, as always. BUT my room and bathroom felt quite used and a little bit run-down this time. Unusual for the typical Motel One quality level. I also wasn't happy with the quality of the rolls ("Semmeln") in the breakfast buffet this time. Usually, they were big and fresh. This time you could really see that it is a lower-quality industry product. Please improve! Staff and friendliness is exceptional as always. Thank you! Still good value for money.
Alles top!
Breakfast was good, staff were helpful and polite, room was clean and tidy. Downsides came with the room itself: The heating/aircon did not work I could get zero internet on my personal items in the room, no phone calls and subsequently phone alarm did not activate, Hotel internet was available, but as with all things not secure. There were no usb charge point in the room I stayed in (4/34), which meant hooking my phone to work laptop to be able to change it, I just wouldn't have expected to need to carry a plug in this day and age. Just 1 usb would benefit guests, and no I wouldn't dig around on the back of the tv to locate.
I was a guest in Motel One some years ago in Netherlands and I loved my stay there so I decided to choose Motel One for my business travel this time. The room was good, clean and the bed very comfortable. However, I would have expected some personal care products in the room, as cream, and something more for the breakfast that was delusional.
Great hotel, fab facilities. Could benefit from better glazed windows to keep noise down at night.
Lovely hotel just off Princes street. Very friendly staff. First time using hotel but won't be last
Everything was realy nice, clean room and good service. The only thing we missed was warm food for breakfast, scrambled egg and bacon.
- unfortunately -however independent of the Hotel- late at night the street swiping machine makes considerable annoying noise louder than the luasline, otherwise room just fine - when booking with the App lately regularly a system/network error comes up, that then vanishes when simply retrying during the process - still a blood pressure enhancing event :)
Perfect hotel, perfect staff, perfect location & perfect Negroni's 😉
Don’t understand Germany but everything was amazing. Welcome, room, position… will be back and will look for this chain since now on

Hotel Vienna-Donau City
The design hotel Vienna-Donau City
Our Motel One Vienna-Donau City near the Danube is the perfect place to relax. The location of the hotel is also a popular address for business travellers, as the Vienna International Centre (VIC) and the Austria Center Vienna are just around the corner. So it’s not only the ideal location for people on holiday, but is also particularly appreciated by business travellers.
And it’s not just the location that impresses – the design also tells a special story. Inspired by the contrast between holidays and business, the design embodies the motto ‘Beach & Modern City’. Viennese nostalgia meets the modernity of Donau City while elements of nature, such as water and rowing boats, bring relaxation right into the hotel. Modern pixel graphics, round shapes and sketch-like depictions of house facades and city maps blend harmoniously into the design concept and create a cosy feel-good atmosphere. This creative interplay encourages visitors to step inside and stay a while.
The facilities at our design hotel in Vienna
Comfortable beds, an extensive urban organic breakfast with many organic products and delicious coffee, free Wi-Fi throughout the building, drinks and snacks at the bar, a 24-hour reception... And that’s not all! An absolute highlight of the hotel is the unique Sky Bar. On the third floor, the Rooftop One Bar not only boasts a large terrace and outdoor bar, but also offers the best view over the Danube and the rooftops of the city. It makes a sundowner or two taste even better after an eventful day spent working or seeing the sights.
The convenient location of this design hotel on the Danube
Another advantage of our Hotel Vienna-Donau City: it’s very well-connected to the city and to numerous leisure activities in the area. For example, the Danube Park and Danube Tower are just a few steps away on foot from the hotel.
The UNO City in Vienna is one of the four headquarters of the United Nations and forms the heart of the Vienna International Centre, which is also located just around the corner from the hotel. The striking UN building, also known as the Vienna International Centre (VIC), is located in Vienna’s 22nd district, not far from the design hotel, right by the Danube.
Opposite is the Austria Center Vienna, the largest convention centre in Austria, which is very well-rated. Business travellers can easily reach the site on foot, without long or inconvenient journeys. Together with the Messe Wien centre in the neighbouring Prater district, this location forms an important hub for meetings, trade fairs and conferences with easy access to Vienna city centre.

Attractions near the hotel
Discover Vienna – it’s just a few minutes into the city with the U1
There’s not only a lot to discover in the immediate vicinity of the design hotel – it’s also definitely worth exploring just a little further afield. With an easy connection through the underground station Kaisermühlen VIC, you can reach Stephansplatz, the heart of Vienna, in around 10 minutes. The hotel is also convenient and easy to reach from the airport or by train. Parking is a little trickier, as the hotel is located in a car-free zone. We recommend using one of the public underground car parks nearby.
Below is an overview of some of the sights that you can easily reach from the hotel by underground train:
- St. Stephen's Cathedral: Probably Vienna’s most famous landmark
