Motel 1 Munich-Westend is located just far enough from the hustle and bustle to offer a peaceful retreat, yet close enough for guests to easily walk to Old Town and Oktoberfest. Its location strikes the perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. Accommodations are modern and clean with all the necessities. Room service daily. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The Breakfast is authentic, delicious, and wonderful!
One point off for the difficulty of getting to our room with suitcases. As an older couple, we did not expect this. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was wonderful! It was close to the tram, places to dine out, and close to the Oktoberfest!

It was busy due to Oktoberfest but the woman at the front desk was so kind and hard working. When we checked in she was working alone and handled everything like a pro.
Giorgio, the most important person in this Hotel made me feel just like home.
Very small room and quite dated but bathroom was pretty new. And it was quiet.
Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. I would especially like to thank the team, Sergio in particular, who was so nice to me and my little son and who helped us when we were having trouble with the TV. We are looking forward to our next stay! One comment on the bed: the pillows are very big and high, so not possible for me to sleep on them. If you plan to replace the pillows one day it would be great to have one with a little less volume.
The reception was particularly friendly and accommodating. The room has enough space, and the bed is comfortable. Pretty much what I expect from a Motel one which I consider my go-to hotel branch when visiting any city due to the great price value and comfort. The only thing I would improve would be the breakfast. It is quite basic when compared to other hotel chains. A waffle or pancake machine would be a nice addition, as well as some cooked alternatives.

Wir sind an dem 30.07, um ca 13:30 gekommen-das Personal an der Rezeption ist top- der Herr und die Dame-extrem freundlich und behilflich-einfach top Service, abends Jungs im Bar genauso. It is your staff that made an ordinary hotel and stay into special. So 5stars to Front Desk Team and see you hopefully next time too.
Very good colleague at the reception (night shift from 23rd to 24th), really liked the service.
Quiet, room size a bit small as usual, nice staff, good location
The location of the hotel is very good, close to public transit, but not quiet enough since most rooms aren't facing the street. Usually, you get good value for money here. The one thing I wasn't too happy with, and that sadly applies to most hotels in Munich, is the steep price increase whenever *any* fair is going on in the city. I'm pretty confident the hotel was not fully booked, but the price was almost double the usual rate.
Nice hotel, however the room smelled bad and the temperature was too hot. The AC didn't seem to work. I wasn't comfortable keeping the window open as it was on the ground floor.
I travel often and I often stay in motel one; this time I didn’t like it at all, the was no kettle in the room, 3 times someone open my door while I was sleeping, there was no proper dog bowls for my dog, and they make me pay 30 euro more because of my dog ? Never happened before the room was properly clean, and only one towel in the room had to ask for more, a very different experience from all other hotels motel one

Before my stay, everything I heard about the hotel turned out to be true—it was a great experience overall! The only thing I’d gently suggest is updating the lobby furniture, as it felt a bit dated and worn. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Everything was good except the ventilator in the bathroom, which was a bit annoying at night.
Staff exceedingly kind, room was clean, and great location (to some awesome Falafel as well as the main train station). Highly recommend!
Hotel was fine nevertheless very few restaurants in the surroundings to have dinner

Housekeeping does not clean the bathroom, does not replace items, 2 days in a row despite complaining about it. Hair on wall upon arrival and bed sheets with stains and holes. Are you kidding me. Next time Hilton Garden Inn. Cheaper and better.

Great as always. Two things I've noticed this time: 1. The fan in the bathroom was always running, not sure if it's ok 2. The bed was quite stiff and the pillows very thick, which I could't use.

Nice decoration and environment in a great location. The rooms are small, but this is not a big issue.The opportunities of improvement are: - Just 1 bar tender at night: the drinks took almost 40 minutes to be ready. This was unacceptable. - There are just a feel tables to have breakfast. Some of the days we needed to have it in a place with a couch with a low table (not a nice experience). With some changes in layout, you could many other available places for breakfast.
Close to the main railway station, friendly staff ... limited food offering for dinner.
I could not believe the check out time was 12 and your staff would be opening my door at 8...i was naked taking shower!!! this is totally unacceptable, embarrassing and not up to par!

Very nice staff and good-looking and clean rooms.We stayed there for just one night but it was worth it!
Nice breakfast, nice personal, quick taxi, nice service for luggage storage. Negative: lots of hairs in the bathroom and on the bed headboard... not nice!
Overall good, I suggest to agree for price in bar before to order something, because these prices could be different for each customer for same drink...
the reception completely messed up the invoices, promised to correct the invoices but eventually declined to make any changes. worst reception experience so far in this respect

Clean, bright, modern hotel in good order. Breakfast appeared to be in the lobby so not very quiet and peaceful. Shower was good - temperature, height, ease of use. Bed was comfortable. My room could have used somewhere to put the suitcase when open so we could get to our belongings more easily.

During our two night stay, air conditioning didn't work at all. We informed that at the reception after our arrival and they promised that someone would come fix that, but nobody came. Also in our room in the wall next to the window was quite visible moisture damage. So there was some things in the room that needs to be maintanenced. Other than that everything was okay. Room was clean, and breakfast was good. Parking was reasonably priced.
Well located, very basic. Friendly staff. Public transportatiion in front of the premise. Tram line 19, which is the one that takes you to all touristic places. Rooms are very small.

I am never disappointed, the standard is always good! I like the design and there is almost everything I need. To be more than satisfied a water kettle would be great.
The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. My room was really nice and clean. I will definitely return to this hotel when I come back to München.
Friendly staff in general, although on the Friday evening at the bar/outside area, if not so friendly and it seems they didn´t enjoy their work.
