Came for 1 night only, no breakfast. I came in the morning and received the room! I appreciate it a lot. Room is nice, comfy bed and sheets. Water pressure is too low.

Excellent location, nice and comfortable rooms. Very well-maintained hotel. Super friendly staff. My only feedback is that the morning of check-out , housekeeping knocked on my door at 10 am, and 5 minutes later someone actually opened the door. This is completely unacceptable. I mentioned it to someone in reception and they apologized, saying the staff is new. However, I read online several comments with the same topic, so it may be a recurrent thing at the hotel, which changed my perception of the hotel.
We can't think of anything negative, room, bed, shower, parking and in the heart of Frankfurt, everything was excellent.
Good Hotel in the middle of the town, Carpet floor which is horrible in 2026, other than that good size room. Breakfast is expensive and bad as usual with all Motel Ones, also Coffee was this time off. Biggest downside is that you can book Radisson Blue at basically the same cost, with better view, free Parking and good breakfast. Would not come back to this one.

The bed was super comfortable. The room was well equiped. I was sent to a room for disabled people, I would rather prefer a normal one, ideally with a real bath :) Something to mention, is that I was expecting to have real glasses instead of paper cups, I prefer not to drink or use and I would also appreciate to have a real closet for the clothes. Anything else was perfect.
All good. One thing: When checking in there is a queue and although I checked-in online I had to wait even if it was only to tell them my name and get the room key. There should be an extra queue for the people who check-in online.

Everything was good except for the cleaning team knocking on our door on two occasions to see if they could clean our room despite the fact that check-out is 12 o’clock. This disturbance is not necessary.

After a long overseas flight, I was delighted to check in early to my room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was a great location too.
I had specifically asked for a room with functioning AC, I had even called to verify, and that one simple request wasn’t taken care of so we had to change rooms. Then during the 38 degree heatwave the AC wasn’t working either, and the room temperature was 28 degrees which is unacceptable. The TV streaming didn’t work and the staff simply had no answers. Incredibly incompetent staff.
We loved the location of the hotel. The staff was super helpful. The hotel was super nice and clean. We had to keep extending our stay because of health situation. But everything worked out flawlessly. The only negatives I'll talk about were the room was a bit small, but I assume it was the standard room we got. And the breakfast was a bit smaller than expected even though it was very good. Overall, I will come back and stay there. We were happy.

It was impossible to reach the hotel by phone on Friday and Saturday night. They don't broadcast the World Cup football matches. For the rest, all very good.
Location is excellent (although a bit awkward to approach on foot), rooms were minimal but quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Reception staff were friendly, quick, and helpful. I had a problem with my room (no light in the bathroom). As they weren't able to fix it during the day, I got a new room without any fuss. I appreciated the cost/benefit ratio. Most missing for me were a small fridge, and maybe a tea / coffee maker. I also appreciated the no-fuss free wifi, which seemed of a decent speed and without annoying upsell attempts, and outlets were conveniently located. The lobby / lounge / bar area is comfortable and welcoming, with many nooks for sitting quietly, and a number of people seemed to be working from it. This is a great hotel without fuss, for a good price. It's simple, and I didn't have breakfast there, but it provides a great, central, base of operations in Frankfurt.

During my stay, I was disappointed with several aspects of the room and amenities. The bathroom was extremely small, leaving no space to place my beauty products or personal items. The two drinking cups stored in the bathroom felt unsanitary, and there was no meaningful storage available—especially inconvenient for two people sharing the room. Additionally, the A/C went out in the entire building, which made the stay uncomfortable and inconvenient. I had included breakfast in my reservation, but the selection was underwhelming. The options were limited to juice, coffee, pastries, bread, and cold cuts. It would have been nice to have at least a few hot items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, or sausage. For the price, I expected more, and next time I will likely choose a local deli or coffee shop instead. The one positive aspect I will mention is the convenient location.
Easy check in and check out, efficient layout of rooms, beautiful lobby and rooms. I appreciate having the loung and bar to have a drink and cool down from exploring the city on a hot a day. Service was great there. I would have loved to have a coffee maker in my room. Location was so convenient to explore Frankfurt. My bathroom was smelly at times, almost like I was smelling sewage or something from another room.

Excellent stay, I will come again! I was on business travel and recommended your place to colleagues. The only thing is breakfast seating: a little bit difficult to find proper seating. Most "normal height" tables and chairs were taken so I endes up sitting on one of the lower chairs and tables. It was hard to eat properly; some food was accidentally dropped). It was a very pleasant stay; staff is friendly and the check in process is one of the simplest I ever experienced! The room was basic and a bit too airconditioned for my liking, but super comfortable bed/pillows made up for that. Breakfast is good, it has several options and I found it nice that you can go and sit outside (inside was a bit crowded, but that is expected between 7.30 and 8.15). Another huge plus is the location, close to everything and also quite safe to walk around late. All in all, I will surely choose this hotel for my next business trip to Frankfurt.
I paid more than €200 per night at this hotel, but I did not get value for my money. Since I was there for work, I needed an iron in my room, but there was none. I requested one from reception, and it took over half an hour to arrive. Additionally, there were no basic personal care items available in the room. I asked reception for cotton, but they said they didn’t have any. Simple essentials should have been provided in the room.
Check-in upon arrival was fast and unproblematic. Room was clean and personal was very nice and helpful. Thank you very much for the great experience.
The staff is very kind, at the reception, at the bar and at the breakfast service ! I did the ironman and they kept my nutrition in a fridge during the week-end. The room is very comfortable and calm.

Stayed 2 nights for work in June'26. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, I slept solidly. The hotel is very nice and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was quite disappointing though, it just didn't feel like there was very much choice. I've stayed in a couple of Motel One and they don't disappoint, good value for money, well located - an overall pleasant stay.

Frankfurt’s ‘new’ old town
Once upon a time, Frankfurt wasn’t just known for its ultra-modern skyscrapers, but also for its old town. Until World War II, one of Germany’s largest timber-framed old towns stretched through the heart of the current finance hub. It was a place where kings were chosen, emperors crowned and the ideas of poets and philosophers like Goethe and Schopenhauer celebrated. In 2018, Frankfurt managed to retrieve a bit of its history through the ‘DomRömer Quarter’ project, which oversaw the erection of a ‘new’ old town across 7,000 m2 between Frankfurt Cathedral and the Römer.
Using original materials, and with an incredible attention to detail, 15 reconstructions of historical buildings and 20 contemporary new buildings have been developed that display typical architectural elements of the former old town. You can explore the crooked alleyways and charming squares of the neighbourhood along with its restaurants and small boutiques on your own, with a or even virtually .

Hotel Frankfurt Römer
Our hotel in Frankfurt am Main could also go by the name ‘Mainhattan Central’. After all, there’s almost no place more central than the Motel One Frankfurt-Römer. The old town is right around the corner, featuring the city’s medieval town hall, the Römer. The design hotel is also close to St Paul’s Church, Frankfurt Cathedral and the MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst. The Goethe House, where the German poet was born in 1749, is just a short walk away. While culture and history enthusiasts are spoilt for choice, the area also has a lot to offer fashionistas and foodies. The city centre with its cafés, restaurants and shopping streets is right on the doorstep of our affordable hotel, meaning there’s nothing standing in the way of a leisurely stroll through the city. And in case you get bored of this side of the river, you can conveniently cross the Main over the Eiserner Steg footbridge from the old town to the trendy Brückenviertel neighbourhood.

So it’s no wonder that the design concept of our budget hotel in Frankfurt centres on the book as a medium. From floating paper page lamps at reception to silver-coated decorative letters in the breakfast area, the interior is inspired by the industrial manufacturing process and a charming library atmosphere. But if you’re imagining dusty tomes and dark reading corners, you’re mistaken: modern furniture design and colourful works from the paintbrush of artist Henrik Zimmer – who creatively investigated the topic of ‘reading’ for us – are more likely to remind you of a fairy tale.
