Great place to stay. Clean and cosy!
Really nice hotel, has everything you need. Two things for the room that I would have liked: 1) decaf tea bags 2) a spoon to stir your tea with
I had a great stay here! The location was perfect — just a short walking distance to the city centre, metros, buses, and everything I needed. The room was big, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily come back!
Good room, Good service, Good bar, Slightly disappointing breakfast
Comfortable, quiet motel with good facilities in a nice location. My only reason for giving not giving it 10/10 is that I'd have preferred slightly wider selection of cereals at breakfast.
All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and will assist with anything you might need. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. This is a great place to stay, convenient for theatres, restaurants and the tram stop is just outside for exploring further afield. We have stayed many times now for theatre trips.
Nice hotel in a great location. Have used before and would stay there again but wouldn't have breakfast there as it was a bit disappointing in terms of choice and the lounge was a bit too dark for me
Staff were polite and helpful, room was perfect, great location too
Friendly service, comfortable room and great location. Very happy and would stay with you again. Only issue we had while there was that we struggled to adjust the temperature in the room but reception sorted this for us immediately :-).
Great location, welcoming bar and good breakfast choices …staff were great too. Room was very small for 2 people with very limited storage but it was quiet and we slept well
The hotel is really well located. The only reason I’ve scored 8 is because it’s really noisy during the night and I found it hard to sleep. There’s a lot of street noise
Great location. Helpful staff. Nice amenities
I’ve stayed in a few Motel One hotels, and this is my least favourite. The location is brilliant for the tram network and shops, however, it’s very dated. The shower was luke warm and bedroom carpet looked dirty. I’d stay at the Piccadilly one again next time.
Perfect situation , clean tidy comfy beds
Lovely stay and good service. Pleasant atmosphere as usual. Breakfast facility good. An ideal city stopover.
Beautifully presented hotel. Polite and welcoming staff. Good price for a concert night, would definitely stay again.
Fantastic location. Wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff 😌
Nice clean hotel. Company. Well located. Wifi was slow.
Very comfortable stay. Staff at reception couldn’t be more helpful. I’m not used to the open wardrobe space but completely understand it to be in keeping with a modern motel. So good to find a hotel with very little noise in the bedrooms. Will recommend to friends.
Great hotel, but as you don't have telephones in the room to call reception, it might be an idea to leave a bottle of water in the room. Some people don't realise there is no water until they are in bed and can't phone reception.
Heating in room was off and unable to switch on. However after a long day it was not a big enough issue to chase up.
Really nice staff and a gorgeous clean room. Was really impressed that check out wasn't until 12pm.
I would give my stay on Wednesday night 10 but last night a 5 as there was no one there to let us in. We rang the bell six times and in the end someone from the foyer had to get a guy to let us in. He couldn't find the booking and was pretty rude to us. However, the room was as good as ever and also the breakfast service was excellent on the Wednesday and pretty good on this morning, although the lady was in a lot of pain from her hip. A great hotel and love staying there.
Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff.
Very good, Thankyou
Excellent all round
Very friendly staff throughout our stay, always on hand if we needed anything. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel and would not change as it is great value for money.
Always comfortable, quiet, great location and fantastic service
the hotel is lacking basic comforts that you'd expect in any hotel these days - hair dryer, iron, cold shower, poorly placed plug sockets. it also wasn't cheap or even on the lighter side of reasonable. the breakfast was also super disappointing - nothing hot available.
The sink was blocked
Small but comfortable room. Good pillows!
My friend and I had a wonderful weekend staying at Motel One St Peter’s Square. Very central and with the tram stop outside nothing was too far away. Staff very helpful and a great Continental breakfast to set us up for the day. Although the rooms weren’t huge they had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. All in all a memorable stay, thank you.
Very nice, clean and efficient hotel in a great location
Excellent location, great bar atmosphere, temperature of room was cool having taken time to read inroom instructions on how to work but several times trying to increase temperature was knocked back to programmed SET temperature and did not have time to go to reception for assistance, also why NO toilet roll holder in bathroom .check in staff very friendly
Absolutely loved our stay! Location was perfect for our visit, prices in lounge were affordable and the room was clean and tidy. All the team we encountered were friendly and helpful and we would absolutely stay again.
I really wanted to give a higher score, however a couple of issues. - The toilet didn’t flush properly, water was running continuously. - The carpets could do with a real good vacuum. - I woke up during the night with the smell of Cannabis throughout the bedroom (I understand this is beyond hotels control)
We enjoyed our stay at Motel One. The location was excellent, friendly staff, comfortable beds and a lovely bar in which to relax. We would definitely recommend staying here.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hotel was perfectly located with easy access to local bars and restaurants and public transport. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The pillows were amazing offering a soft and firm option. It was a pleasant touch having a window which opens - something that is lacking in many hotels these days! We would definitely stay here again!
I'd won my stay via Take A Break magazine. Check in was easy. The room was clean. Hotel is in an awesome location
All good, no issues
I really appreciate the combination of the hotel location, the really fine staff all through the hotel, the clean rooms, the breakfast and so on. I do not need to look elsewhere for an hotel in Manchester. Motel One is just what I need.
Excellent location of the hotel. The staff were excellent throughout. A really lovely hotel
Friendly staff, Very comfortable room. Great bar open late which suited us after a gig. Amazing location for getting to the Etihad Campus as the tram stop format Peter’s Square is a 30 second walk!!!!
Reasonably priced, great location.
Always my "go to" hotel in Manchester. Great service, location and price. And breakfast is excellent!
Consistent Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Non-working Thermostat in my initial room. Amazing service at Midnight to transfer me to new room. Shanois didn't even question the situation and provided a rapid solution. Pablo followed up with a kind mail. As we used to say in on my football team... "You put on a clinic" (You set the example for the rest)
Neat environment & professionalism in customer service
Guests can not access the toilet once they have checked out or before check in the room. Due to the key card situation. The bar is unattended for long periods, so guests must walk to the front of the building and wait at reception to request use of the toilet! Which is unacceptable especially for me with a serious medical condition. There is no radar key toilet access. This was very stressful. The hotel bedroom door doesn't actually lock from the inside, at least mine did not. The wifi is very poor and didn't work in the room or bar area during my 3 day stay. Hotel allows guests to return drunk and disorderly 1am-5am period disturbing others with no control over behaviour. It is worth enforcing a standard quiet hours policy due to the small nature of rooms and poor sound insulation to corridor. The hotel bar is open till 2am which appears to increase this problem. The hotel is clean. The room was also clean to a good standard! The cleaners are doing a good job.
Loved it, clean and spacius room, and staff was very nice
Clean friendly and no hassle. Excellent location.
