Friendly staff, clean and tidy facilities. A fantastic central location and all was as expected.
Ive stayed several times. Good but…. I wish each room had an ironing table and iron. Many other hotels supply them. I always have to go down to reception to get them. Two weeks ago, i accidentally left a white linen shirt in my room. I phoned up the next day and it wasn't found.
The hotel is perfectly located near a variety of restaurants. It’s clean, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is good. I would recommend!
3rd time I have stayed. Always clean, no fuss, nice bar and perfectly central. It has become my ‘go to’ whenever I visit my daughter in Manchester.
My first time at Motel One and I was much impressed. The check in was quick, friendly and efficient. I arrived on what was probably the hottest day of the year and my room was wonderfully air conditioned, it was compact but it had everything I needed. The thing I loved the most were the beautifully soft pillows on the bed, such a pleasant change from some of the neckbreakers which other hotel chains use, they enabled me to have a super night's sleep! I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again.
Great to be back in this hotel. Been here a few times and love it.
Generally adequate but v clean and v friendly and helpful staff. breakfast quite poor value and almost nothing available one hour before buffet closes. Premier imm gives better room and breakfast cheaper. Need more shelving and drawers in room.
I always enjoy my stay at Motel One on St Peter's square. The staff are welcoming, the hotel and rooms are clean and the location is great!
The hotel was lovely, perfect location. The staff were amazing, the rooms were spotless and the lounge area downstairs was pleasant to relax in.
Great hotel, the only issue was the room was freezing at all times!!
Reliably good Thank you
Very nice hotel clean nice room with everything you need adequate breakfast very helpful and friendly staff good value for money would recommend and stay again
Staff very friendly, hotel stunning, Rooms spacious and clean and the beds super comfy
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very clean (including in the stairway!). The room was nice. I didn't stay for the breakfast, as I felt £13.99 was a lot for someone who would hardly eat anything. I thus wonder whether there's a possibility of offering different prices for different types of breakfast?
The perfect Motel One experience from start to finish. Charming and efficient check in. Room clean with everything working. As good as the German Motel Ones.
A satisfactory, but entirely average stay. For what I paid, the room was overpriced. The breakfast was basic, with no cooked options available.
Always fabulous; my go to in Manchester (and lady making cocktails in the bar is brilliant too!)
Great service with a responsive, friendly and efficient team. Rooms were clean, bright and airy and had all we needed. We were staying during the Oasis concerts and so the city was very busy but nothing was too much trouble. As we arrived, the staff not only welcomed us but gave us a free bucket hat as well as an amazing welcome letter with an Oasis theme to it - it was such a lovely touch to make an incredible weekend even more special. Thank you so much to the team!
Excellent place, great location and friendly staff. Highly recommended. We always enjoyed our stay!
Room okay, clean, no bin in bedroom area which would be useful. Plastic cups horrible. Safe did not work as had been left locked. Bobby lotion usually provided now in hotels and wasn’t.Bar area lovely and cool. Price for the night extortionate for this class of room (£222 not even to have breakfast provided). Wifi did not work on arrival and was unable to contact and arrange meet up with friends). This room was not booked by myself but had it been I would never have booked it.
Excellent location and I will definitely stay in a MotelOne again. The hotel is really well soundproofed - a good night's sleep is my priority, and it was so quiet (even though I was only on the second floor so quite near the street). Receptionists gave me a warm welcome and I was able to check in much earlier than I'd expected. I liked the room and facilities. Breakfast was decent and good value, though the coffee from the machines was quite variable in strength, and there isn't any hot food except for 'hard eggs' (?). Service is great throughout the hotel.
Staff were helpful, hotel was perfectly located.
I enjoy using this hotel, however on the night I stayed most recently at the St Peter's Square branch there was a powercut which meant we woke up without power and there was no hot water until after 8am, I couldn't prepare well for my meeting or wash my hair. Although it was not the hotel's fault I feel that they should have offered to compensate guests or at least email them to apologise, the response was disappointing.
We had a great stay at Motel One St. Peters Square. The room was very clean and had everything you would want for a short stay. The whole Hotel Experience was excellent. Friendly Staff, comfortable beds and good facilities. Location really to our taste. Nearby transport links, bars and Restaurants.
Superbly located in the heart of the city, yet a lovely quiet nights sleep. Great value. Can't wait to return. Keep up the good work
Great reception staff .When my daughter was feeling unwell they let her stay in the room for a late checkout.
Room was small but very clean and well decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom lovely with an amazing shower. Staff on reception were friendly, professional and very helpful. I arrived early but they allocated me a room that was ready so I could check in. Even though it's in the centre and next to bars it was very quiet in the room and the air conditioning was fantastic as it was very hot outside. All in all I had a lovely comfortable stay and would definitely return
Super comfy bed. Good air con.
great location ,very clean requested rooms next to each other and earlier check in, both provided thankyou.
Excellent experience as always!
Great hotel, great staff
Rooms were comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful
The Staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel and room were clean, decor was nice.
Atleast should’ve put drinking water bottle in the rooms. No dustbin in the room.
We had a really lovely stay here. Clean comfortable rooms with modern sleek bathrooms. The bed was SO comfortable with lovely bedlinen, and we really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and hairdryer etc. The staff on the front desk - everywhere actually - were super friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to book a Motel One again. Very impressed.
We stayed here for one night on a stop over between flights. We arrived in about 10.30am and although check in wasn’t until 3pm our room was already available. Check in was quick and easy and Maria on the desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was small but was spotlessly clean and the location of the hotel perfect for exploring nearby shops, pubs and restaurants. I’ve stayed at motel one in Berlin and have booked to return to another in Manchester at the end of August. So reasonably priced for what you get and they may just be my new go to hotel chain to book with in the future.
great central location, great price
Excellent customer service on check in, friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms we were allocated were brilliant, spacious, large comfy bed & pillows and very clean. Excellent service again from the staff in the bar. Can not fault our experience at all and we’ll definitely be back
Not quite as good as my previous visit just a month previously which just shows how difficult it is to constantly maintain a consistent standard. There was no serious issue and I'd still return to the hotel. But I wasn't impressed with the reception staff this time, both when checking-in and on departure - which included one female receptionist shouting into a phone in relation to a guest who, seemingly, had fled the hotel without paying. Surely you deal with such a situation in private - not broadcast it to other guests?
Beds were spacious and comfortable. Did find bathroom had a weird damp smell. Receptionists were very nice. No queuing for lifts as there was many available. Fantastic. Having an app is also very convenient.
Usual high standard. Disappointment with broken lift might have a been resolved with a small gesture of compensation (nice coffee or similar). I declined offer of help with my suitcase though regretted that.
Hi toilet seat was loose , and a bit of a squeeze to get by the bed to the toilet. But other than that the room itself was good, clean and tidy.
I got a king room but it was rather small. Overall service desk staff we very lovely and location is unmatched.
Great location and great hotel, very modern and clean lovely staff especially reception and very helpful. Good choice at breakfast.
The location is great and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! I’ve only given it an 8 because of the size of the room. We asked for a quiet room so were given a room Mon the 7th floor at the the very end. No iron- had to ask at reception and it was wonky and no mini fridge to keep things cool. Other than that it was a very comfortable sleep! Bar was expensive!!
Staff was friendly enough but the room kept having malfunctions the lights would turn off, plug sockets stopped working, TV wouldn't work and the heating randomly came on in the middle of the night which made the room very hot and dry whilst we slept
Good location, tho lots of sketchy behaviour at night (aside from regular evening protests). Room works, good value.
Shower was lukewarm as lacked and power
Excellent location in the centre of the city, comfortable room with modern decor and lighting, decent shower, good value for money. The lounge and bar area is nice, well-stocked and a good place to meet people; for me, its what makes this hotel so much better than other budget chains. The lifts failed when I was there and I had to walk up and down eight flights of stairs, but that wasn't the hotels fault. The toiletries are basic (bring your own) and the room doesn't have much storage and hanging space for clothes.
Great stay as usual. However there was a power outage on the morning of checkout (which affected the neighbourhood) so I had to finish showering in the dark before the water ran out due to the lack of power and had to ckeck out earlier than planned as a result. As the lifts weren't working I had to go down from the 5th floor to ground via the stairs. What it did show was that there was insufficient signage when reaching the ground floor so it was not immediately clear how to get to reception (confusing staff and service rooms/corridors on the way out). Otherwise a great stay as usual.
