Great hotel. Good breakfast, comfortable beds and linens. Even though it is in the middle of the center, you don't hear people or cars. The staff doesn't smile unnecessarily, but that's normal. The cleaning was first class. Can really recommend this hotel if you are going to stay in this part of Berlin. Berlin is huge.
I´ve been to lots of motel ones, but the "Potsdamer platz" was the worst experience. The bed was horrible, one elevator was permanently out of order, which led to long waiting hours in before it was possible to enter it.
Good location, but very basic. No safe in the room so you cannot lock away any valuables. Breakfast was very crowded, some of the tables are too low and too small. There is construction work ongoing in the building wirh constant drilling so it was impossible to be in the room during the day. One of the elevators was out of service and the wait for the remaining elevator was often very long.
Our stay was good as always, with the exception that only one lift was working.

We had a wonderful time at your enstablishment, we really enjoyed our time in Berlin staying there. The room was always clean, the lounge was cozy, the staff friendly and helpful. We just had that little problem when the elevator broke down after the water incident and we had to take a long set of stairs. But it was resolved immediately and it was nothing but a minor inconvenience. I noticed although a little cockroach trap left under our beds, I think that it was left there by mistake. The location was optimal being in the center without being in a too crowded or car packed area. We really enjoyed the view to the interior park of the building istead of having one just facing the street. The space in the room was ok and we didn't have any problems. I must say that the bathroom door always closing on itslef was a little frustrating sometimes as it interrupted room to room conversations, but aside from that nothing to notice. The bathroom itself was great and the shower worked fine. I sincerely had no idea about the free wifi, so maybe it could be advertised better (maybe putting a wifi code in the room would help). For the money part it surely was an expensive booking but we did pay for quality. The reservation process was straight forward and clear so we didn't have any major problem for that. I have sincerely no idea how to fill the remaining characters so I'll just be adding empty space from now on Location of the hotel was excellent, central and walking distance to everything I wanted to visit. The bar was good, with a wide range of cocktails and gins. The rooms are spacious, quiet and I had a great nights sleep, however they have minimal amenities and could be improved by adding a kettle and a safe.

Our stay in the hotel was excellent from start to finish. The staff were professional and friendly, the hotel was very well located and immaculately clean and the breakfast was perfect. Value for money could not be beaten.

Very good service, very clean, very helpful and respectful personells. Good diverse breakfast (organic). Very nice and central location. Although it’s 3 stars hotel, however, it’s quite tastefully and comfy designed. There is a nice terrace attached to the breakfast area where the guest are able to sit on the terrace to enjoy their meal.

Comfortable clean room. We were really pleased where our room was, overlooking a pretty garden, making our stay lovely and peaceful. Staff were really welcoming from reception to bar staff. The bar and terrace were so nice to relax in of an evening. Very good value for a city hotel.
Localization is perfect! Hotel was also nice and the reception was very helpful. Bathroom was quite smelly :( I think you should provide at least free water in rooms.
I left a dress shirt hanging in my room on accident, and then called and emailed the front desk to have them hold and ship it to me at my expense. The took 3 days to get back to me, and said that a shirt had not been found? So obviously the housekeeper kept the shirt for themselves. I would expect better from a hotel like this.
Everything was fine, except the fact that the room service was opening my door already at 10 AM on a day of departure despite the "do not disturb sign". Extremely disturbing!!
Great hotel in such a convenient location. Everything was clean and staff were helpful. Air-con worked. I liked this hotel and have stayed here a few times. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room and a proper water glass, instead of a cardboard cup.
Very clean. Excellent service and food. Staff vere all very friendly. Room was a bit small if you travel with big suitcases. But that's just the way the rooms are. Nothing anyone can do about it. It's in walking distance to a lot of mayor sightseeing places like Checkpoint Charly and the Brandenburger Tor for example. Unfortunately the reception could not help us with how to pay for the parking. Other then that we have nothing to complain about.
Great location, superb customer service at all stations, comfortable room and healthy hearty breakfast. We arrived late and tired from a long train ride. We were so happy to meet two chirpy and friendly front desk staff who attended to us. At breakfast, the staff went out of the way to say hi and ask how our rest was. I have always been a fan of Motel One for the service, location and great organic breakfast!

Everything is up to expectations except the room door which is too heavy to open.
i have been 6 times there, I enjoy it. bed is good, room is clean, ubication is quite good. I just wish we had a little friodge in the room for keeping fresh water, especially in summer, but that's all-.
Only wish for making it better: Larger vegan options at the buffet, but as the amount of vegans visiting might not be so many I didn't account for that in my score.
Overall great stay. 2 things to improve to make it a perfect one: better iron and some broader variety of warm breakfast like for example scrambled eggs.

The location is amazing; nevertheless, the room was too small. I was not reminded about breakfast at my check-in, and then I had to lose time in the morning to pay for it at reception ( you should have the option to charge it to the room). I was not offered my water at check-in as part of the program until I requested it again directly at reception. Service can improve.
Cozy hotel in central part of Berlin. Nice staff, excellent location. We were lucky, we were given a higher standard room at no extra charge, with a balcony and Bundesrat’s view. Totally recommend!

It is always a pleasure to stay at this hotel, even for just one night. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the location is convenient and the staff at the reception is always so friendly and helpful.
Super Service an der Rezeption
I would enjoy a little fridge for keeping water and juices and cheese and ham fresh. (I like having quiet breakfast on the terrace, alone and silently). In winter I can let the food on the terrace during the night, but in summer it would be quite better to have a little fridge. Anyway, I really enjoy all my stays with you and I have two trips already reserved with you.
The heating was not functional, even though the outside temperature was very cold. Perhaps this is some kind of ESG initiative. But from a guest point of view, it spoils the experience. I’ve been using Motel One for a long time but next time will reconsider.
Shoutout to all the staffs at Motel-One Potsdamer Platz, but especially to Sara (without the H!), who helped me on 19.05.2025. Throughout the phone-call requests, at the check-in, as well as the handling of questions, one could feel that the staffs had the one-of-a-kind professionalism and readiness to help the guest and make them feel comfortable. Also a big shoutout to the staff at the Lounge Bar who helped with providing hot water, since there were no coffee pot in individual rooms. Throughout the stay, I felt well-supported and comfortable, and would definitely go for another in the future.

Rooms are quite small and minimalistic equiped, but clean and with a high quality bed. If you are with two, only one has space to store a phone next to the bed. If you bring a laptop no electricity is available near the small desk. Bathroom has a big walk-in shower.
The room was small but nice and clean. I always appreciate a water boiler in the room - there was none. I also missed conditioner in the shower - think all women in the world use conditioner :-) Friendly and helpful staff in reception and the cleaning persons. One detail - The brakfast was aslo very nice including the staff in the retaurant they were very friendly and efficient. You promised a free bottle of water for member - We asked for one in the restaurant/bar but we were told that we had to pay.
Room was 0n the same floor as the bar which was a bonus. We could access the garden from it. We were given our rooms together, there were 6 of us. The location was good for both walking and the train and there were plenty of museums and tourists sites nearby. Only criticism was that breakfast there was not enough space for 6 of us together as it was crowded. Also no toaster.
