I have previously stayed here and I like the location for exploring the city. Motel One has a straight forward and easy booking process. The stay was enhanced by the friendly and helpful reception staff on arrival that continued throughout the stay.
The friendly welcome at the reception and the excellent breakfast service were particularly appreciated
We had a great time at Motel One, which is located very centrally but still very quiet. The rooms are very good isolated which is a huge plus. Check in and cancellation policy was as well a big plus. The only issue is that the bathroom stunk a lot like drainage, which at the end after some water running and ventilation went away.
Overall, it’s a good hotel in a great location for sightseeing. However, the neighborhood has very few restaurants, and none are particularly interesting—you’ll need to go elsewhere for good food, unless you enjoy shitty American fast food. Additionally, the music in the bar was too loud, and the temperature inside was uncomfortably high.
Nice cosy room, be even better if the AC worked (it appeared to only heat).

Rooms are basic but very clean, comfortable bedding and great shower, also nice to get a bottle of water for the room on arrival. Staff were all extremely friendly, check in and out very quick and easy. The bar is lovely, comfortable seating, nice ambient music, and the bar staff were very nice. We had an excellent stay and this would be our first choice if we come back to Berlin - excellent location near to shops, public transport, and only around ten minutes from some of the attractions. Great experience!
The staff was really helpful. I needed a bottle opener and they lent me one, they sent the invoice for my company in a jiffy... great experience overall
Especially the Reception was excellent. Very friendly Person at check-in.
WiFi was a little weak in the room, but other than that an excellent and pleasant stat
The service was, as always, very good. Although there was a renovation process going on, it did not have a negative impact, except that the bar was only provisional :-)
Live the organic and vegan options at the breakfast (especially vegan "sausage" and "cheese" and also Bionella). Please continue! However, the bedroom was very expensive this time (>200€ for a standard room). I guess, there were some events in Berlin that were the reason for this.

Great location, wonderful staff. As always with Motel One, rooms may be minimal but they’re 101% clean and neat. We’re looking forward to seeing the lounge after renovations.

Pleasant staff, easy check in, convenient location and great bar and libation selections.
The hotel is clean, and the room attendants' efforts are appreciated, but the price is exaggerated, even the water is not free, there is no kettle or its accessories, and the reception staff needs improvement.
Great hotel. Good breakfast, comfortable beds and linens. Even though it is in the middle of the center, you don't hear people or cars. The staff doesn't smile unnecessarily, but that's normal. The cleaning was first class. Can really recommend this hotel if you are going to stay in this part of Berlin. Berlin is huge.
I´ve been to lots of motel ones, but the "Potsdamer platz" was the worst experience. The bed was horrible, one elevator was permanently out of order, which led to long waiting hours in before it was possible to enter it.
Good location, but very basic. No safe in the room so you cannot lock away any valuables. Breakfast was very crowded, some of the tables are too low and too small. There is construction work ongoing in the building wirh constant drilling so it was impossible to be in the room during the day. One of the elevators was out of service and the wait for the remaining elevator was often very long.
Our stay was good as always, with the exception that only one lift was working.

We had a wonderful time at your enstablishment, we really enjoyed our time in Berlin staying there. The room was always clean, the lounge was cozy, the staff friendly and helpful. We just had that little problem when the elevator broke down after the water incident and we had to take a long set of stairs. But it was resolved immediately and it was nothing but a minor inconvenience. I noticed although a little cockroach trap left under our beds, I think that it was left there by mistake. The location was optimal being in the center without being in a too crowded or car packed area. We really enjoyed the view to the interior park of the building istead of having one just facing the street. The space in the room was ok and we didn't have any problems. I must say that the bathroom door always closing on itslef was a little frustrating sometimes as it interrupted room to room conversations, but aside from that nothing to notice. The bathroom itself was great and the shower worked fine. I sincerely had no idea about the free wifi, so maybe it could be advertised better (maybe putting a wifi code in the room would help). For the money part it surely was an expensive booking but we did pay for quality. The reservation process was straight forward and clear so we didn't have any major problem for that. I have sincerely no idea how to fill the remaining characters so I'll just be adding empty space from now on ................................................................................................................. Location of the hotel was excellent, central and walking distance to everything I wanted to visit. The bar was good, with a wide range of cocktails and gins. The rooms are spacious, quiet and I had a great nights sleep, however they have minimal amenities and could be improved by adding a kettle and a safe.
Vriendelijke ontvangst aan de receptie. Ideaal dat je online al kunt inchecken. Mooie kamer. Niet groot, maar wel heel modern uitgevoerd en alles is aanwezig. Geen dichte kast om je kleren in op te bergen, maar wel een open kast en wat kleerhangers om je kleding aan op te hangen. Badkamer is keurig en een heerlijke douche. Prettig dat je de temperatuur in je kamer kunt regelen. Het ontbijt was goed, niet uitmuntend. Op de een of andere manier verwacht ik in een hotel bij het ontbijt roerei (scrambled eggs), bacon en worstjes. Dit was er niet. Wel genoeg andere keus. Je betaald er echter wel bijna 18 euro voor. Ook duurde het soms lang voordat de tafels waren afgeruimd, er leek net wat te weinig personeel voor het ontbijt te zijn. De bar op de derde etage is een aanrader. Ik heb respect voor de barman die veel taken had, maar op en top gastheer bleef. Geen druppeltje zweet op zijn voorhoofd. Lekkere Chardonnay. Makkelijk met het openbaar vervoer te bereiken en het station Potsdamer Platz is op 150 meter en brengt je overal. Op een paar kleine punten na, was het een heerlijk verblijf. Ik begrijp dat het een keten is, dus wanneer ik in een andere stad zal verblijven, zal ik zeker kijken of er een Motel One hotel is.
Het goed uitleggen en opvolgen van niet iedere dag schoonmaken maar wel om de dag nieuwe handdoeken ging niet helemaal goed. Engels ontbijt hadden wij wel fijn gevonden

Very good service, very clean, very helpful and respectful personells. Good diverse breakfast (organic). Very nice and central location. Although it’s 3 stars hotel, however, it’s quite tastefully and comfy designed. There is a nice terrace attached to the breakfast area where the guest are able to sit on the terrace to enjoy their meal.

Comfortable clean room. We were really pleased where our room was, overlooking a pretty garden, making our stay lovely and peaceful. Staff were really welcoming from reception to bar staff. The bar and terrace were so nice to relax in of an evening. Very good value for a city hotel.
Localization is perfect! Hotel was also nice and the reception was very helpful. Bathroom was quite smelly :( I think you should provide at least free water in rooms.

Goede kwaliteit voor een goede prijs op een goede locatie
De receptioniste bij aankomst was zeer onvriendelijk, had geen begrip voor de moeite die ik deed om Duits te spreken en te begrijpen. Toen ik wat later in de douche stond, ontdekte ik dat de handdoek waarmee ik me wilde afdrogen vuile, rode, vlekken had. Gelukkig was de andere wit. Ik controleerde de kleine handdoeken en ook daarvan was er één bevuild. Ik ging met de twee handdoeken naar beneden en heb daar heel lang moeten wachten tot er een receptioniste vrij was (en niet vanalles op de computer moest doen en zoeken, want dat was blijkbaar de voornaamste bezigheid). Ik kreeg excuses en nieuwe, witte handdoeken. De receptioniste bij vertrek was heel vriendelijk. Verder geen opmerkingen maar ben wel geschrokken. Ik had voor het bedrag dat ik dat weekend betaalde toch wel wat anders verwacht. Ik heb reeds verschillende keren in dit of een ander Motel One gelogeerd.

Motel One is de beste hotelketen. Het onderscheidt zich van andere hotels door klantvriendelijkheid en een toegewijd hospitality team. De medewerkers bij het ontbijtbuffet zijn bijzonder attent.
Heerlijk en gastvrij verblijf gehad! Metr goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Moderne, zeer schone kamers, gezellige bar en vriendelijk personeel. Als verbeterpunten zou het fijn zijn als door de weeks het ontbijt ook tot 11.00 uur is. Tot 10.00 is als je een stedentrip doet net te kort. En een warmbuffet ontbreekt bij het ontbijt.

Hotel Berlijn-Potsdamer Platz
Direct in de Mall of Berlijn met zijn circa 270 winkels vind je ons Motel One Berlijn-Potsdamer Platz van waaruit je de Bundesrat vanuit een wel heel bijzonder perspectief aan het werk ziet. De One Lounge - die bestaat uit een zitgedeelte, een ontbijtcafé en een bar – kijkt uit op het gebouw waarin de vertegenwoordigers van de deelstaten samenkomen.
Het zicht naar buiten wordt binnen gevisualiseerd door een grafisch beeld van het winkelcentrum Wertheim en een tijdslijn met de geschiedenis van dit gebouw. Ook de eerste technoclub van Berlijn, 'Tresor', zo genoemd omdat hij in de voormalige kluisruimtes van het winkelcentrum is gevestigd, is in het design van ons hotel verwerkt. Onze gezellige Outdoor Lounge is een groene oase in het midden van de grootstad.
Wil je even tot rust komen, weg van de drukte van de stad? Dan moet je hier zijn. Op de Potsdamer Platz laat Berlijn zien waarom het een metropool van de 21e eeuw is: hemelhoge glazen torens vol kantoorruimtes, het hypermoderne Sony-Center met aantrekkelijke cafeetjes, restaurants en entertainment en de expositieruimte van het werk van Dalí waarin jou kunst van wereldniveau wordt tentoongesteld. En op een steenworp van het hotel vind je ook de Brandenburger Tor, de Große Tiergarten, de Berliner Philharmoniker en nog vele andere bezienswaardigheden. Ook de regeringswijk en het Centraal Station liggen niet ver weg.
Boek dus snel een kamer in ons voordelige hotel en duik in de levendige geschiedenis rond de Potsdamer Platz.
