Booked last minute. Hotel room was clean and contained everything I needed. The hotel is located beside Piccadilly Station and close to city centre, making it a very convenient location
The staff were very accommodating when asked questions. Excellent customer service. Room clean and tidy.
The staff were friendly & helpful & the hotel reception & bar area was comfortable although dimly lit. The bedroom was very small & completely different to the same standard of room we stayed in at the Edinburgh Royal Motel One so we were very disappointed. There was no decoration only plain white woodchip type walls with hardly any space to move around. No space for a wardrobe only rails with hangers on. We definitely wouldn't stay at this Motel One again.
Fab stay as always ! Super clean and tidy and the rooms were comfortable
Very basic for the price
The staff were excellent -very welcoming and gave consideration to a room request for me -I wish I’d made a note of her name as she was so lovely and an asset to the hotel. The hotel was well maintained and the room was very clean and cared for. Thank you for a great stay -I’ll definitely return to this hotel again.
Great location, the beds are so comfortable and the staff were lovely. I would stay again.
Another fantastic stay. The hotel is great, the facilities are great and the staff are wonderful.
We were really disappointed with our stay at the hotel. The downstairs area looked nice but the room really let it down. There were multiple burn marks on the carpet. There were squares of carpet that were different coloured to the rest of the carpet where bits had been replaced. There were hair elastics on the carpet by the bed. There was no radiator or anyway to dry our clothes that got soaking wet each time we went out or to dry a towel for when we wanted to use it again. The shower head would not stay above you when you stood in the shower unless you held it - it showered onto the shower screen. We were given a voucher for a bottle of water but all that was in the room to use was two plastic mugs with tops that should have screw top lids so we’re very uncomfortable to drink out off. We expected something abit nice for £190 room only.
Excellent hotel
I cannot fault Motel One. Stayed here twice to go to concerts and it is ideally situated. The staff are friendly, the room are spot on (bedding and pillows are lovely and bathroom clean with great shower). Most of all I like the breakfast! Will go out of my way to try and stay here again if I need accomodation.
I want to Call out the friendly and attentive receptionist gentleman from Valencia. He was very considerate to my request to have a quiet room as I was doing a presentation the next day. He found me a room in a higher floor and I slept very well. Thank you. Breakfast was good but I was surprised there was no cereal, yogurt or juice.
Would have been better if you had a discount agreement with the local car park.
Great location , loved our room on 13th floor . Would request again . Good quality linen.. so impressed to see the hotel supporting British produce , and seeing 3 British produced meats . Well done bringing food air miles down .
A good stay in Room 13-03, however, on the morning of our second day at the hotel, we were awoken by loud hammering noise, coming the room 12-03 beneath ours, at 10am. Reception staff confirmed that this was due to maintenance taking place, in the room beneath us. The hammering noise lasted for around 30 minutes. I understanding that maintenance needs to be to take place, however, this could have been conducted after 12pm, when most people are awake and have vacated their rooms.
Stayed here for 3 nights, no brain decision after my first experience 3 years ago. Great room, perfect shower, comfortable bed and lots of television channels, what else to ask for. Would definitely book again should I return to Manchester one day.
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room in good condition. Quiet. Great breakfast.
Had a very pleasant stay at Motel One. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Look forward to staying again.
Had a lovely stay staff very friendly /helpful room small but cosy everything you needed drinking glass in shower room would be good ? Bar a bit pricey outside area could be better a bit messy!
Convenient location, great beds, super friendly and helpful team. My home away from home in Manchester!
As usual a very comfortable stay, great pillows and bed and breakfast is always a treat. I have one comment that too often there is no one behind the bar to serve.
Excellent value in very nice room, very friendly reception and great location for accessing central Manchetser and main train station, would defintely recommend...! MJ
Fantastic front desk staff, really friendly and comprehensive. Had a great stay.
Very impressed with room and public areas for the room rate. Did not have breakfast as felt the cost was too great for a cold option but this would not deter me from staying again in the future.
Great location Nice rooms Excellent staff
Great hotel, good location, very friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. Everything I needed for my trip to Manchester. Would recommend and would stay again.
All very good, except air conditioning which seemed to have a mind of its own, allowing the room temp to from to 13c during the night, even though it was set to 21c!
excellent as always.
Amazing stay can’t fault this ,, definitely recommend
Fantastic location, rooms are a really good size and beds very comfortable. Most importantly, every member of staff I met were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Excellent stay staff superb.
We stay at motel one every time we visit Manchester very comfortable & affordable lovely staff & in a great location will be back thank you
Great location. Great hotel and reception team. Only downside was no bin in the room to place rubbish. Felt awkward just leaving it on the small table. Also why no iron and ironing board in the room? Maybe was hidden??
Friendly helpful staff, relaxing environment, great location
Room was spotless and adequate, only thing is the breakfast option is far too expensive,no cooked food, cold buffet for £13.50. I would stay again, but wouldn’t get breakfast, there is a Greggs at the railway station or a Wetherspoon just down the road.
The queen sized bed was actually two mattresses with a sheet over the top, the crack between them was unfortunately very apparent when sleeping. The room itself was fine but I was put into an accessible room for some reason. It didn't feel particularly relaxing. The biggest issue was noise unfortunately. My room was right by the lift and staircase to the floor and all night I was woken up by doors slamming and people talking as they went directly past my door. There was also a lot of light from the corridor which came through under the door whenever the hallway light came on.
A quiet and friendly place, in an excellent location. Top services!
Amazing staff, left my earphones and they found them and helped get them delivered back to me. Room was lovely, very comfortable.
Clean and staff very helpful
Given the late notice with which I tried to book a room, the price was not unreasonable for a clean and comfy stay in Central Manchester.
Very good on Location and service. improve on Room Temp Control
My room has both a water leak in the bathroom floor and carpet in hall. This spoiled my experience.
Overall experience was good, I was under the impression that parking was available, it wasn't. Plastic cups for tea and coffee was a very big put-off, makes them taste terrible.
Always my first choice hotel when in Manchester- location, customer service and general hotel stay is always smooth.
Great. Room ans breakfast.
Clean and perfectly adequate.
excellent value. Fantastic location, 2 mins walk to Picadilly station for the airport. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Great design hotel- gorgeous lobby, and a very practical and functional room. Everything works as it should in a small but very well designed space. They are also very helpful in letting you store your luggage. We stayed in 2 Motel Ones in the week that we were in Manchester.
Couldn’t make any suggestions for improvement. An excellent experience. Breakfast particularly good.
Great value. Comfy rooms, friendly staff and fab breakfasts. Terrific value! Thank you.
Was really impressed with the hotel. Comfortable and stylish room, a good night's sleep and tasty breakfast. The staff on the desk were particularly helpful. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I'm in Manchester. It's so close to the station which is really convenient when arriving to the city.
