Everything was just perfect!
I had a most wonderful stay at Hotel One Wien-Prater. The hotel lobby is "quirky" and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location right beside the Prater and a train station. The room itself is an ideal size and very clean. Although the room doesn't have a kettle or mini bar (a problem for someone like me who loves a cup of tea in the early morning and late evening), the staff in the lounge bar gave me hot water and milk whenever I needed, so that I could make my own cups of tea to take back to my room - greatly appreciated! It is, however, the amazing staff at the hotel which make it memorable. A special mention of Sara in the lounge bar - no matter how busy it was, Sara was always welcoming, smiling and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this unique hotel and will definitely stay there again if I am back in Vienna.
Everything was perfect. Only one thing but it is not a mayor problem that it was a bit cold in the rooms.
- nice and clean rooms - friendly and helpful service - quick administration processes
Friendly staff, efficient check-in, comfortable rooms. The breakfast area gets quite crowded and eating on a low table is not comfortable. Hospitality trays in the bedrooms would be a real plus.
Hotel is really good, position is great, staff polite and overall feeling was good.
My stay at Motel One Prater has been exceptional, thanks to the fantastic staff and excellent amenities. The team is incredibly friendly and polite, always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Special mention goes to Mile and Sara, who made my experience even more enjoyable with their warmth and professionalism. The breakfast was a delight each morning—well-prepared, fresh, and with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The hotel's hygiene standards are impeccable; I felt reassured by the cleanliness in both common areas and rooms. The beds are also worth highlighting, as they are very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring or working. One downside is the parking, which I found a bit expensive, but the quality of the stay more than made up for it. Lastly, I am curious to know how many nights I, Dijana Pejić, have spent at Motel One locations across Europe. If possible, could the hotel team assist with providing this information? It would be interesting to know my accumulated experience with this wonderful hotel brand.
It was all a wonderful experience, reception staff had all the patience and was helpful. Tea coffee machines would give in to the busy breakfast hours.
I would rather pay a little more for a complete room with adequate facilities, a balcony that is too narrow to move around and has nothing to do, new towels in the bathroom that smell sour and air circulation that doesn't work.
Very happy with some of your stuff. More than polite, really nice and helpful. (kitchen stuff, lady from Colombia, and India). Dining area small, and can get really crowded. Bed side tables too small.
Breakfast too crowded - otherwise fine. Reception desk polite and helpful.
3rd time at M1 Prater - always a good choice! The only thing is that the mattresses are way too soft. That's what made the experience only 'satisfactory' but not 'good'.
Location is good, everything is close by. The room was clean, but there was often some litter in the corridor (leaves, wrappers, food scraps). I also noticed a silverfish in the room. Breakfasts are rather standard; perhaps you could try adding something unique to stand out. Additionally, when there were a lot of people at breakfast, some had to eat at coffee tables, which wasn't very comfortable. My biggest issue is with the invoice, as I didn't receive the one I wanted. It was impossible to arrange anything by email—it felt like I was corresponding with an AI—and even in person at the reception, it wasn't any better. Changing the details just wasn't an option. In the world of customer service, "it can't be done" doesn't exist.
A very pleasant stay!! Danke sehr!!
Spaces for breakfast were limited during the visit, maybe there is a better way to organise the renewing spots. There should be a change or switch of bread and other stuff every day or now and then.
Quite good location, staff is quite supportive and friendly in nature. Rooms were quite clean. Worth staying at the price which were offered. Potential improvements could be for some hot break fast options for long stay.
Super Hotel, super Personal
The only critical comment I could make about the hotel is that the overall temperature (in light of saving energy and resources) is too high.
Clean room, friendly staff, central location. Free water bottle on arrival. Experience could be improved further by providing a tea and coffee maker in the room and a mini bar.
I did not get an invoice for my stay. can you organize an invoice on Polium GmbH Paulanergasse 14/4 1040 Wien sollte im System sein. Danke
I like the hotel in general, but I think the lack of refrigerator and kettle in the room diminishes my comfort greatly. There should at least be a kettle in the room so that I can make a cup of tea or coffee when I come back to the room after a tiring day or if I need to work at night or early in the morning in the room. The room amenities are insufficient. There should also be a bottle of water in the room per day. I should not have to go looking for a supermarket to buy a bottle of water.
overall it was good, however not having a water boiler to make tea or coffee in room was a bit frustrating.
Very good hotel, nice place. I will recommend it to my friends for staying in Vienna.
The hotel was very clean and provided good hospitality. Only my concern was there is not mini bar in the room or no room service menu (I am not sure if available).
always like to stay here. Front desk staff is extremely helpful and nice. rooms are big for european standards and comfy beds. breakfast is ample and the atmosphere in the hotel is casual and comfortable. the nice garden and outdoor space is a plus!
Dear Motel One, we spent the night at your hotel in Vienna yesterday (from 12.09.2024 to 13.09.2024). We arrived at the car park on 12.09.2024 at 9.05 p.m. (attached) and on 13.09.2024 I paid for the car park at 10.14 a.m. (attached), why did I pay 34 euros for the car park, as if I had paid for two nights. I was not in the car park for 24 hours, which means I should have paid €17 according to the website. Unfortunately, I paid €34 and only noticed in Poland when I got home. Please clarify this matter. Best regards. Marcin Ksiazek I sent you this message by e-mial.
Hair dryer too loud, please change them, too cheap equipment! Breakfast: too close to sit next to each others
Alles war Perfekt!
The bedroom and the bathroom were nice and clean as usual. But, the breakfast was definitely too crowded. Coffee maschines were partly broken so there were cues, and unfortunately no scrambled eggs. The staff was friendly.
Great location, wr love the design especially the Bar and we enjoyed the fantastic breakfast of fabulous chairs.
The only reason I give you 9 points is because my room wasn't clean well and the towels wasn't change. The hotel is excellent!
Perfect place to stay. Few minutes away from the metro and from the Prater. Breakfast was basic but very good and everything fresh. Highly recommended.
Beautiful Hotel, very nice staff, wonderful gsrden, quiet and perfect placed :)
Excellent stay for our purpose, close to the stadium for a concert, walking or tubing. Excellent access into the city on the tube, tube stop less than a minute’s walk from the hotel and walkable just a-bit longer.. Reception staff were very very helpful and friendly Surprisingly quiet rooms, comfy beds, reasonably priced. We loved Vienna as a city it’s fantastic, beautiful buildings, clean, safe, good food.
Nice staff, good room with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Everything you need for a few days staying i a hotel.
Alles super!
Very comfortable beds, a decent Motel One breakfast that has a consistent high quality at all locations. Near U-bahn bus and train plus Prater park.:
Black spot is the transparency of the curtains, every morning being weakened by the brightness going through the curtains, a better choice of curtains should a must in a hotel…
Super tolle Lage und tolles Hotel
All good. Coffee perfect. Would add a little bit to the breakfast menue...quite limitted. Eggs perfect. Overall nice experience. Thx
Wonderful hotel at an excellent price. Very convenient to underground, grocery shops, Loved that they had bicycles on the property that you could rent.
super
alles super!
Everything ok
Very freindly staff, convenient location, parking for reasonable price. Booked balcony room but it was not possible to sit nicely with two people as barely one chair could be put there and there is no room. So the balcony is basically useless. Bathroom is a bit small, but fine. Would come again.
This is our third time at a Motel One. We love the modern design, comfortable beds , clean rooms and friendly staff. It would have been convenient if there was a small refrigerator and tea and coffee facilities in the room. Also if the breakfast was cheaper (17 euros per person is too much for a family of 4) we may have opted for it.
Really well located. Super convenient. Having breakfast on the terrasse was just great.
Excellent hotel with great breakfast options.
Everything was great- friendly staff & clean rooms. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I ever had!
4 Long waiting time at check-in; breakfast poor; otherwise ok

Location and surroundings
Right by Vienna’s famous Prater amusement park
Welcome to the Prater and to our Motel One Vienna - Prater, a Design Hotel with an interior that illustrates the attractions of this renowned giant funfair. Old carousel horses and swing boats catch the eye in the One Lounge, while design elements such as the Moooi “Pig Table” and “Rabbit Lamp” refer to the Prater’s wide green parkland beyond the fun of the fair. Views of the Prater’s beloved lilac blossoms accompany your healthy and organic breakfast, and the seating clusters and fountains of our Outdoor Lounge offer a relaxed foretaste of the park’s ambiance.
Our affordable Design Hotel is right next to the Prater with its world-famous Ferris wheel, at the heart of the Leopoldstadt district and also close to to the exhibition grounds and Vienna University of Economics and Business. With the Messe-Prater underground station just next door, you’re handy for the centre of town, Stephansplatz and many other sights.
A relaxed, fun side of this metropolis on the Danube is at your feet. The pleasure is ours.
