Nice hotel and location. Menu at the bar could be larger.
Fabulous centrally located hotel. Friendly helpful staff, large and lovely lobby and bar, small perfectly appointed comfortable rooms. It’s all you need.
Was a perfect location for my needs. I was pleasently suprised with the courtyard area very lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds and room very clean and comfortable. I loved that there was air conditioning!!!
Great experience, great location, hotel has a great style and ambience! Would have enjoyed a small fridge/water in the room. Will come back to Motel Ones' whenever possible. Amazing value
I knew what to expect, rooms are a little small and basic but beds are really comfy, the position is excellent, the staff was great. As to the breakfast there were no scrambled eggs, but the capuccino was nice. Over all a nice experience
Cozy, clean, good position
My stay was ok. Nice in whole and inner deco is also fine. There was a problem that safe was not closing physically (mechanism was still working but the door could not be shut). Room was ok: I was missing a small fridge though.
good hotel overall in a good location and quite quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are quite small, which is ok. It would be nice to have a small fridge though in the room to keep the drinks cold. The breakfast area is busy, but it works well.
Not my first time in Motel One Brussels. And not my last time either. It’s always a pleasure to come back. Friendly and professional welcome, lovely bar/lounge in the lobby, clean rooms, excellent breakfast… Compliments to the staff at the reception desk for saving my glasses which I forgot in a hurry! My only ‘but’ is the ‘One Lounge Menu’ from the bar. Please, take a look at the Disaronno description… I know, everyone thinks Disaronno is an amaretto… But it’s not… It’s made of almonds AND peach pits. And an real amaretto can only be made of almonds… Apparently there is a law somewhere that stipulates that. Disaronno knows that, you won’t find the word ‘amaretto’ on the label… Better change the description a little bit to avoid wise guys like me… 😉 Looking forward to my next stay!
The Hotel is in the heart of the city centre, well and carefully designed and furnished and runned by excellent staff
It was clean enough, and I know it's summer but there were insects in my room (mosquitoes to be precise), so maybe do something about that. A bit noisy every time my neighbor opens and closes his/her door. And I wish there was a fridge and complimentary water.
Great hotel but very compact rooms with a small bathroom - although well equipped. Not an awful lot of space for 2 people in the room - literally only 12 inches between the bed and the wall! Small hanging space for clothes. No kettle in room - there is hot water available in the mornings in the breakfast area or during the day/evening in the reception area - however, be aware this is just hot water, no tea bags or coffee provided! On the plus side, there were a lot of staff - all of whom were friendly and helpful. The bar/bar area was a good meeting place - always busy and buzzy - and the drinks prices were reasonable.Good place for a nightcap. Didn't opt for breakfast, however there are lots of cafes in the local area, plus a Carrefour across the road. Good area to stay in - about a 10 minute walk to Grand Place, Central train station etc. Across the road from Parc du Brussels and close to the museums.
The opportunity to switch off the air conditioning and open the window is priceless.
very comfy and cool!
Very comfortable hotel, nice rooms, excellent location.
Arguments for not giving 10 points: 1) The pre-checkin is useless as you have to queue at the reception anyway to get the key card. So you should have at least a fast line at the reception to honnour guests who invested their personal time to do the pre-checkin! Otherwise you feel kind of ridiculised. 2) The Motel One app is useless as well as it doesn't help you to get the key for your room faster. 3) As a hotel in Brussels I expect their employees speaking at least one of the national languages of the country. However, the person checking the room numbers at breakfast was even not able to understand room numbers in one of the languages of Belgium. I write this not because of a personal lack of English language knowledge, however it is a question of politeness and respect to unterstand some important words of the language(s) of the country you work! 4) In the breakfast room, there are not enough "normally high" tables and seats, which means there are too many sofa chairs, bar seats and tables, etc, but this is not comfortable at all for eating breakfast. It can be nice for an evening drink though. For all these reasons, I rate the hotel being too expensive.
Lovely hotel - clean and comfortable, good breakfast, welcoming staff. Area for improvement: tea/coffee in room or free tea/coffee station downstairs for guests' use.
welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, cleanliness everywhere
Easy booking, easy check-in, no-frills clean quiet room (a bit small for my liking), good and varied breakfast (but the breakfast space feels a bit like a busy cantine). One thing that needs improvement is the wifi - people with endpoint security on their computers will not be able to log in the hotel wifi which is a bummer if you're in Brussels for work.
The staying was very good. I will appeciate to have in the room the boiler and the coffee maker.
No water boiler for coffee or tea at room. Room space is too small.
Does what it said on the tin.
Excellent property, it is very close to the square. Many eating places are right opposite the property. Clean bathroom, nice reception and clock room facilities is also available. Also just very close to train and metro station.
Nice staff and enjoyable time
Hotel was clean staff were friendly and in a convenient location for our stay.
The price was more than unreasonable.
Everything was very good. I would propose maybe refrigerators installed in some rooms.
Great hotel with an excellent location
NIce facilities..... staff friendly
WIFI is unstable, for me but also my colleagues. Not acceptable for a business hotel. Elevator is also a plague. You need to review your standards based on the relatively high price charged.
Very nice establishment, location and staff
Great location, easy to get everywhere in the city. Clean and modern designed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
I had a wonderful stay at One Motel during my recent trip to Brussels. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the friendly reception staff and cozy lobby bar to the well-kept rooms and helpful staff throughout. It was my first time staying at this motel, and I look forward to returning again."
Excellent location. Clean. Comfortable bed. Coffee/tea/drinks available for purchase in the lobby. Nice communal space to hang out. Very good value for the price.
Great location. Brilliant hotel. Breakfast good. Bar area nice. Room clean. Small and no tea /coffee making facility. Ideal for a city break to Brussels
Super nice. Friendly staff, quick check-in, clean areas and clean room. I like that you have the option to skip the cleaning; I stayed just two nights and it's honestly pretty pointless to clean up in between then. Also thumbs up for a proper beer selection in the bar!
hotel was clean and service was good. Room do not have enough place for cloths or other storage. Quality of breakfast was medium. Lounge/bar seats were not very comfortable
The perfect hotel and location for a visit to Brussels. Simple, no fuss rooms with the option of a limitless, continental breakfast if required (extra cost) Close enough to the rail station and well situated for all the major destinations in the city. Helpful, attentive staff.
The room was neat and clean with variety of options for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful at the reception. Location is in the city center with a walkable distance to public transport.
The room was clean ! the breakfast was wonderful. I am not a big fan of sweets and bread, but the buffet was quite balanced. There was oat milk, soy milk, even vegan cheese and salami. I have never seen this before in a hotel breakfast. I only wish that there would be more vegetables like cucumber, carrots etc. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Friendly staff and very attending. Room was simple with all necessary basic amenities. Water in the room would be a nice touch
Eveything OK, courtesy of the staff, cleanliness, comfort of the bed, quietness of the room. The choice for breakfast is good (excellent espresso, which is not always the case), but the price is a bit too high, a more reasonable amount would have resulted in a 10 rating
Lovely hotel. Nice dark rooms. Well positioned, clean, very polite and helpful staff.
Very good stay, friendly check in personnell.
All ok but the aircon fro the rooms was terrible. I was freezing and trembling all night, horrible experience.
Really cold rooms, no amenities, no fridge, bad service and noisy doors.
Clean, awesome room, super nice staff that helps you every time. The elevators are a little bit slow but that’s a small thing to complain ☺️
Good but not fancy.
Check in staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was small but that was what we expected and was perfect for what we needed and clean. A little disappointed that there was no kettle of coffee facilities in the room. I had seen this but unusual in modern nice hotels of this calibre. The reason I have marked the score down is lack of coffee facilities in room and need to pay in the bar and the worst point for me is feeling obliged by the bar staff to add a tip when paying. Every occasion we used the bar it was said ‘you can add a tip and then proceed’ again never something I have experienced in other hotels and a little offputting. A tip should be for good service not doing the bare minimum to perform your function.
We were warmly welcomed and allowed to check in early which is unheard of these days! Our room was lovely and breakfast vast and tasty. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel is nicely located.
