The property and location were very nice. My lower score mainly comes down to the temperature of the rooms. Our room was quite hot, and due to the visit taking place in the fall, there was no way to cool our room besides opening the window. This worked decently until it was time to sleep. Brussels is quite a lively city and having your window open on a weekend night leads to many noises entering your room. My quality and amount of sleep was not great due to these factors.
Best place to stay in Bruxelles Friendly, very clean and comfortable
Nice hotel near the centre, however I personally did not think it was worth the money. The room was tiny and there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was manic!
As always Motel One keeps a very high standard all over Europe. This applies also to Motel One in Brussels. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area 10-15 min on foot from Gare Centrale. The selection of food for breakfasts was rich. Super friendly staff was always ready to help you. I've already been staying in a few hotels in Brussels, but Motel One is for me so far number one. My next stay in Brussels will be in Motel One.
friendly person at the desk, excellent service. room impeccable and breakfast elaborate and delicious !!
Quick and easy check-in/out, nice staff, quiet room, comfortable common areas, excellent situation.
The hotel is nice, very copy. Also the room is cozy, even if essential. I would appreciate a boiler to make tea in the room. Breakfast is good.
Everything is perfect, except smokers in front of the entrance blocking the way for nonsmokers and annoying them with smoke.
Enjoyed the stay! All the staff were very courteous and helpful. Keep up the good work.
I think it was my 6th time at the motel one hotel, it is always a very good stay, quite, clean and good rooms. However this time, due to a major event (i asked at the reception), the price of the room was very high and to be honest not in line with the service, I would suggest that if the price as to be increase that much at least a breakfast or a caffè station in the room or a bottle of water could be offered by the hotel
Excellent service, propreté, ambiance.
The light socket was under electricity (touch the left bed lamp and get a slight tingly sensation in your fingers) and the sink in the bathroom was smelly
Very good hotel, great location, clean, good design, nice breakfast!
The hotel is nice. The rooms are spacious. The shower was good. The air conditioning did not work well. Our overall complaint is that while there is a large restaurant area, there was no dinner service.
Cool place, just cool. Plus has everything a hotel needs.
Busy breakfast time. Difficult to find a table.
At over €300 per night, Motel One Brussels looks a bit basic. Breakfast is hopelessly overcrowded, there are no coffee/tea making facilities in rooms so comfort is limited. Also the bar staff have started asking for tips when you order at the bar, which seems surprising for Belgium?
Room 270, very loud street noise. Windows poorly soundproofed. Bathroom with strong sewer smell even when not in use.
Clean, friendly staff, great position, good breakfast. Tea/coffee possibility in the room would be nice.
Everything in this hotel is great besides the fact that you can hardly move in the free space left in the room. The staff is friendly and helpful ( They can use some helping hand if you hire more employees.)The atmosphere is vivid. Location is great. The cleanliness is perfect.Special thanks to Mirella in the front desk.
i would totally recommend this hotel to everybody travelling to Brussels thanks to the team for smooth experience
Nice hotel with excellent location. Two things to improve: Water is flooding the floor when taking a shower, more varieties at breakfast (berries etc).
The room was a little small, but the bathroom and shower were OK. The 24h bar was very good. Staff at the reception could be friendlier.
Great central location. an easy walk to the train station and many sites. Rooms are tight by American Standards, but have most everything you need. Breakfast included which is a bonus.
Good hotel, friendly, spotlessly clean, and convenient to access any location be it for business, tourism or pleasure. I enjoyed my stay.
I have stayed at Motel One on three occasions, and I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff, facilities, and cleanliness of the hotel are excellent. The proximity to the city is fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is that there could be water provided, and tea and coffee-making facilities
I often stay at Motel One hotels, mostly in Motel One Brussels. It is for me as the former slogan said "Like the price. Love the design". Always a pleasure to be there. For me, the score would be a 10 if check-in times were earlier than 03:00 PM, at least they should be from 02:00 PM on.
Terribly small rooms with absolutely no room to move even for the couple. Cheap but totally uncomfortable.
A fantastic hotel, great location, very comfortable and great service from the staff. Great decor and loved the quirky TinTin touches, would recommend for sure. (Very comfy bed)
Excellent!
Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are good. The bar was very limited, very little food. The tea were served in plastic tea bags(danger microplastics). There were no tea facilities in the rooms
Excellent as ever. I’ve now stayed in nine different Motel One hotels in four countries and the quality is consistent. Staff friendly and helpful.
I fell in love with this lovely hotel. Extremely clean, friendly, quiet, great location, minutes from everything, best breakfast buffet with gluten free, vegetarian and organic options, lovely courtyard and breakfast room. I loved everything about this hotel and plan to make it my home whenever I visit Brussels. Thank you everyone who made my stay such a wonderful experience..
Comfortable hotel and friendly, efficient staff. Good location
Having the smoking point right outside the main entrance makes for a pretty unpleasant arrival experience -- smokers loitering by the door and wafts of stale smoke and ash from the ashtrays is not a great way to be welcomed to the hotel (or to return to / exit via each day). We had an issue with water leaking onto our bathroom floor, which was looked at fairly promptly though it's not clear it was completely dealt with. It was a minor issue really but it still would've left a better impression if there'd been an offer of a free bottle of drinking water for the room or a discounted drink at the bar or something as compensation (Ibis offer you a free drink at the bar for pretty much any issue, for example). That said, overall the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is good. The property has all the comfort and amenities expected of a Motel One.
Lovely place to stay, very stylish and immaculate, staff were very nice and helpful. Great location.
Great location, great service, nice cozy rooms.
Breakfast too crowded and rather poor. No hot water in the bathroom during one morning, all morning.
Great value for money. Clean, efficient staff, good rooms with safety box, great breakfast, central location (10min to train station).
Great style, especially the seating choices throughout. Common areas were very inviting and relaxing. Room was quite small for 2 people and lacking storage and an iron. However, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
Very good stay, good hotelroom and bed, good service and excellent location. Hip and cool hotel. Would like to see egg and bacon on your breakfast buffé. Will book with Motel One again 🙂
We enjoyed our one night stay at Motel One in Brussels. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge area was inviting, and I loved the courtyard area as a place to relax and have a drink. The king bed was comfortable, as were the choice of pillows. The room was spacious annd spotlessly clean, and I would have given a perfect score if there had been a small fridge. The location was also perfect for exploring Brussels.
Super nice service, all employees were very nice as always. Not our first time staying there and probably not our last.
Excellent hotel and service
The room is small, but comfortable and quiet. My only issue is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. If it is not possible to have this in the rooms, even having the breakfast facility open during the day would be better, allowing guests to take hot drinks back to rooms.
Excellent staff, great facilities and vibe. Clean and well equipped rooms. Point lost as hot water failed one morning!
The check-in experience was excellent. Alessio noticed I wasn’t feeling well and went out of his way to accommodate my room request. He was very knowledgeable about which room would best suit my needs, and I was able to enjoy a peaceful, restful stay. The next day, we faced a hot water issue, which was critical as someone needed to refresh. Once again, Alessio went above and beyond—helping me secure a late check-out and complimentary breakfast. Thanks to his support, I had the much-needed rest to restore my wellness. I have to say, M1 has now become my preferred hotel.
Felt uncomfortable in the room due to the lack of privacy as you have no privacy curtains at your windows so you feel exposed to other hotel rooms facing you which is off putting
Great location and friendly stuff. Rooms are clean but extremely small. Breakfast has great variety but only cold foods. Coffee is from automatic machines. Hotel has no gym/exercise room.
clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Location is very central

Feel like royalty in our Motel One Brussels. The first Belgian royal couple awaits you eagerly at the bar, elegant velvet armchairs beckon you to rest and linger, and our royal service is, of course, a given. The design of our hotel is inspired by the famous Brussels lace. It adorns the One Lounge in countless varieties: from prints on our exquisite Baxter Italian leather furniture to a vast light ornament. Of course, the Belgian art of brewing is honoured on our very own beer menu. If you would rather relax outside, we will be happy to serve you a drink at the Outdoor Lounge in our quiet, green courtyard. Truly the height of relaxation.
Our affordable design hotel in the city centre of Brussels invites you to explore the sights of the Belgian capital: St. Michael's Cathedral, the town hall, the Grand Place and the famous Manneken Pis are in walking distance, and the international station Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel Zuid is easily reached, too. If you are looking for a green oasis in the middle of the big city, head to the nearby Parc de Bruxelles.
