Everything was perfect, the staff, the cleaning, you get support in all you wishes! N
Clean rooms, super fancy lobby, top breakfast. Very close to city centre.
The room was clean, the interior of the hotel is nice. Breakfast selection was OK. The hotel is large so it was a bit too busy and noisy for my liking.
super
The location is excellent and staff very friendly.
Very centrally placed hotel, for some reason my breakfast wasn’t on the system!? Clean small rooms, well run.
Lovely clean central hotel with seamless check in and a lovely atmosphere overall. The room was snug but really clean and modern. Breakfast was plentiful but very strict on times so no extra coffee after 10am was a little aggressive. Other only downside was no kettle for tea making in the room but otherwise I would recommend this property and would book again. Thanks 😊
Breakfast was nice, and I loved the (very) fresh ricotta (a large pot would be brought in every morning, to be self-served in large spoonfuls) and the large honeycomb from which we could take honey and pieces. Staff at breakfast, especially Lucia, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I went early, but even then it was good that more than one buffet was set up and there were coffee machines in several places, well spread. I missed light alternatives, especially skimmed milk and yoghurt. I also wished a toilet was closer to the breakfast area (for example, to wash hands after peeling an orange!) The room was fine, but the table was too small and too high to work comfortably on a laptop. My room was to the front and it had a window from floor to ceiling which was very awkward, especially because the only option to close it was a very heavy curtain which left the room very dark. A very upsetting detail was the TV, which would always turn on when the room card was put in its slot. That boring screensaver with a rustling sound which always reminded me of a rat running into hiding was surprising at first and soon very annoying. I wish it was possible to turn it off once and for all for the duration of a stay. The bathroom was good, but the sleek design felt dangerous. I was very afraid to slip in the shower, since I had nowhere to hold on. Staff at the reception was very helpful. They kindly printed a few pages for me and were ready to had out maps of Brussels, which proved very necessary and helpful. I only wished the reception and especially the lounge/bar areas were not so dark. It strained my eyes and left me tired. It was not inviting.
Very nice hotel, ideal location for what we wanted. Room was quite small, but the balcony was a nice touch in the summer. Not much space to store clothes or luggage which was a minor problem, could really have done with a fridge as the weather was very hot, but the rooms are usually quite basic. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent as usual!
The location of this hotel was excellent. Only a few minutes to walk to the main areas of the old town. The rooms were small but clean and had good air conditioning. The main complaints I would have, no kettle/tea/coffee in the room and no fridge.
Very value for money. I managed to check in early at 930am and got some sleep. Convenient, affordable, clean, stylish. Highly recommend!
Fantastic hotel already been recommending to family and friends
My partner and I recently stayed at motel one for a planned trip to Brussels. Upon arrival at reception, we were greeted with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The same staff checked in with us throughout our stay as we passed through the hotel. They could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We had an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the city. The room was absolutely spotless and cleaned to a very high standard. The view from our room was outstanding with a beautiful sun set every evening. The hotel was busy and vibrant with a lovely bar and outdoor area. The location was perfect and in walking distance to everything we wanted to explore. Very happy and would absolutely come back again. Thank you!
Everything is perfect. Especially employees and cleaning.
Very lovely hotel with friendly staff. Everywhere I went was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was really good.
Family of 4, booked 2 rooms, we had a great time staying at Motel one. The staff was friendly, the hotel was very clean and the location was perfect (about 10 mins walk from the Grand Place).
The hotel room was in a very poor location. At the far end of the hotel, through a door in the hallway, we entered our room, room 500, which was one of the two rooms at the very end. Sharing a common hallway with strangers through the same door was very unsettling. The rooms were old and dingy. I thought the lack of a refrigerator in the room was a major drawback. We expressed our dissatisfaction with our room to the front desk, but we never received a response. We've stayed at various Motel One hotels many times before. Compared to the other Motel One locations we've stayed at, I can say this was the worst.
Everything absolutely amazing
Motel One Brussels has an excellent location a short walk from the historic downtown Grote Markt and the Metro. It is also close to the Parc de Bruxelles and major art museums. The rooms are modern with excellent climate control. The breakfast is large and varied. The customer service is outstanding. When I learned my train to Holland had been cancelled, scrambling my travel schedule, Paul helped me locate and schedule arrangements with another carrier. And when the Metro also came up short that day, it was Paul who arranged alternate transportation. International travel can be exasperating, but with the kind of assistance shown on this trip by Motel One, I can look back and smile. I will certainly see about staying with Motel One again.
Nice comfotable international Hotel.Better than premier Inn but similar type of hotel.Good decor.Great Aircon.7 mins walk from main railway station.Overall very good.Comfortable beds.Nice bathroom and shower..Really good staff speaking lots of languages.
The staff qas really friendly either at the reception and at the breakfast room. The ladies at the breakfast room ensures that nothing was missing, especially Eleni and Mirela.
Clean, comfotable beds, friendly and helpful staff and overall good experience.
nice garden in summer
Everything was good. Nonetheless, there was no water in the bathroom around midnight without notice. I came down to the reception and learned that the water system was broken. The staff gave me two bottles of water which was very helpful. Still, it was unreasonable to have no water and no advance notice.
My stay was excellent. The hotel is clean and modern, the rooms are quiet, bedding comfy. A mini fridge would be a nice addition to the room. A special note to the outstanding service by members of staff, specifically the breakfast host and front desk personnel. Highly recommend it.
We had one of the BEST experiences in a hotel. From the booking team, led by Theodor, to the reception team, including Gabriella, Ruben, and the nice Oriental lady (sorry, I did not catch her name), they all make us feel very welcome and special. Location is amazing too. Their 5-star customer service is one of the best we've experienced in a hotel. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast is very rich. Thanks also to the ladies at the restaurant and bar. I will recommend and hope to come back in the future. Thank you all for your amazing work.
Hello, I stayed at the Motel One in Brussel for a few days in June. The hotel boasts of a real multicultural and multilingual staff, a real representation of the European Union in the heart of Europe. The staff from the cleaners to the reception were polite, helpful and professional. The persons at the reception gave precise information to what I asked and their help was invaluable to booking the excursion I wanted. The breakfast was plentiful and diverse, even having a wide range of vegan food! I cannot rate lounge-bar, because I did not use it but I suppose it would be outstanding like the rest of the hotel services. In brief, it is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in. On request: please tell how could I sign in? Best regards, Maria Gentekou
The location is excellent and it was very peaceful in the room. However, early check in was not possible even though I would have liked to pay for that. It was quite rudely denied to organize (I had an important meeting to be held immediately after arriving and after an early flight). In other Motel One's this has been always possible. The breakfast was quite boring: no fruits etc. Also, I recommed you to lower the temperature in the public areas 1-2 grades during the summer time: I would make the atmosphere more comfortable.
Good. Arabic music in the street after midnight was just annoying.
The TV was not working in the room! No connexion. Very disappointing
1.opening hours of garden should be revised... we came back around 22 hrs and it was closed. 2. a kettle to make tea or coffee
Positif
Very poor service as I was not allowed to check in until exactly 15:00. Clearly there should have been rooms available earlier as check-out is at 11:00. Instead I had to sit and work in the noisy looby fir 4 hours. No efforts to try and assist me despite asking multiple times. Really poor service.
No kettle to make a tea or coffee The Bath towels too small completely different from London Motel One No marmalade at breakfast Dirty mugs and glasses not removed from room
We were ‘greeted’ by a cold person at the front desk. Not welcoming. We asked for water at the bar becauythe front desk told us to go there they were filling up the water dispenser. The guy gave us bad tasting tap water rather than the water that was cold in the dispenser, The chambermaid left our fresh towels on the bathroom floor. I’m so disappointed and disgusted with Motel One. We have always stayed with you and unfortunately we have Friday at the motel one in Brussels booked again. We are not looking forward to it at all. What can you do?
The staff on reception and in the bar were really friendly, polite and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Good location for central Brussels (about a 10 minute walk). Breakfast buffet was extensive, with vegan choices clearly labelled and available.
Alles top, late checkout option wäre super
All great! I always recommend Motel One to people traveling to Brussels
Nice hotel and location. Menu at the bar could be larger.
Fabulous centrally located hotel. Friendly helpful staff, large and lovely lobby and bar, small perfectly appointed comfortable rooms. It’s all you need.
Was a perfect location for my needs. I was pleasently suprised with the courtyard area very lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds and room very clean and comfortable. I loved that there was air conditioning!!!
Great experience, great location, hotel has a great style and ambience! Would have enjoyed a small fridge/water in the room. Will come back to Motel Ones' whenever possible. Amazing value
I knew what to expect, rooms are a little small and basic but beds are really comfy, the position is excellent, the staff was great. As to the breakfast there were no scrambled eggs, but the capuccino was nice. Over all a nice experience
Cozy, clean, good position
My stay was ok. Nice in whole and inner deco is also fine. There was a problem that safe was not closing physically (mechanism was still working but the door could not be shut). Room was ok: I was missing a small fridge though.
good hotel overall in a good location and quite quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are quite small, which is ok. It would be nice to have a small fridge though in the room to keep the drinks cold. The breakfast area is busy, but it works well.
Not my first time in Motel One Brussels. And not my last time either. It’s always a pleasure to come back. Friendly and professional welcome, lovely bar/lounge in the lobby, clean rooms, excellent breakfast… Compliments to the staff at the reception desk for saving my glasses which I forgot in a hurry! My only ‘but’ is the ‘One Lounge Menu’ from the bar. Please, take a look at the Disaronno description… I know, everyone thinks Disaronno is an amaretto… But it’s not… It’s made of almonds AND peach pits. And an real amaretto can only be made of almonds… Apparently there is a law somewhere that stipulates that. Disaronno knows that, you won’t find the word ‘amaretto’ on the label… Better change the description a little bit to avoid wise guys like me… 😉 Looking forward to my next stay!
The Hotel is in the heart of the city centre, well and carefully designed and furnished and runned by excellent staff
