Los métodos de comunicación inadecuados, ya que se hizo una reserva con la fecha equivocada, se envió correo y comunicación por WhatsApp para hacer la modificación y no respetaron para cambiarla al día siguiente.. la reserva se hizo a las 12 de la noche, y la página se actualizó incorrectamente como si yo fuera llegar en ese momento

The room was fine, and location reasonably close to the main sights. The main downside was no coffee machine or even a kettle, which one would expect in an upmarket hotel these days. I would also appreciate better security in accessing the accommodation floors, ie key card to work the lift, again most hotels have this now. There was a bottle of hand wash but no more useful toiletries such as hand lotion or conditioner that are fairly standard. Breakfast was good, loved the oat milk coffee machine! Could have done with a few vegan pastries etc given that you make a feature of vegan breakfasts.
- Booking was incorrect, we had to remind reception desk that we had paid for larger rooms. - Bed mattress was sloped and uneven - Check-in only worked for 1 of 2 rooms booked, had to remind reception to confirm second room. - Shower pipes made a loud, high-pitched whining sound each time I used it. - Room still water bottle not replaced as a courtesy, asked to buy from expensive lobby bar. This was not comparable to other brands of hotel at a similar level. - Wi-Fi dropped frequently, dreadful signal.

We have stayed at Motel One Neumarkt many times as it is our first choice when we're in Cologne. We like the location, the staff are lovely and the rooms are great. We particularly like the relaxed atmosphere in the lounge area and enjoy having a drink there before retiring to our room.

The location is excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Cologne and the cathedral. The room is quite basic, but it has everything you need for a short stay. However, there was a note in the room warning that the breakfast room might be too busy and that there could be thieves in the lobby, which is quite concerning. It would be beneficial to enhance security by restricting lift access to hotel guests only, as is common practice in many other hotels.
Excellent location, nice, clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Good soundproofing, hanging space (considering it was a small room that was good) and decent aircon. A few things knocked the rating and one was the paper cups. Why? Glasses please. A kettle really would have given it a 10/10.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the value for money was not satisfactory given the various issues encountered. The room was clean and well equipped, though rather small, and breakfast was very good, with friendly and welcoming staff on duty each morning. However, at check-in (around 4:00 PM, after the official 3:00 PM check-in time), we were informed that the room had only been prepared for one person and that someone would bring the missing duvet, pillow, and extra towels within the hour, which we did not really mind ; but as no one had come by 9 pm I had to go down to reception myself to collect the items, without receiving any apology, even though the staff member who had checked us in earlier was still present, and having to carry the duvet, pillow, and towels myself back to the room across the hotel lobby did not really feel like premium service. In addition, at check-out we were told that the parking fee had already been settled at check-in, as the ticket had reportedly been validated, yet we were still charged €52 — for less than 48 hours — when exiting the car park.
Unfortunately, the bed linens as well as the pillows themselves had clear stains on them. The grout in the shower was turning orange and needed to be cleaned.

Second time in motel one Köln Neumarkt, always a nice experience. Clean and quiet. It’s easy to go everywhere from there in the city.

The hotel was convenient enough for me. The room has everything I need, the location was perfect, the staff were friendly and hospitable. Could’ve been better if they had landlines and fridge in the rooms. But thats just personal preference. Also, the room I was assigned to wasn't completely clean, as I saw traces of a spider and spider webs. Overall, Im satisfied.

Everything was really good. Appreciated the communication about the breakfast situation. You could check the toilet in 291-sometimes it did not stop flushing. Also the curtain had coffee stain. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The location was great and as was the service. The light switch on the en suite didn't always work properly and sounded like it had a loose connection and the safe was locked in the open setting so it was unusable.
This is my third visit . Never failed to impress me about the cleanliness of the room although room is a bit small. Very courteous staff . Simple and quick checkin.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, el personal del lobby super atentos, nos ayudaron con recomendaciones muy buenas, el desayuno espectacular, muy variado y abundante, y la habitacion muy confortable, descansamos muy bien despues de explorar la ciudad. No es de mi gusto el emplazamiento. Demasiada gente en el desayuno, caótico. Mal olor en el baño, esto es común a los tres Motel One que he conocido y en mis varias estancias en ellos. Algún problema de construcción. Y no hay ni un vaso en el lavabo. El trato del personal aquí muy bueno.
Ha sido una estancia perfecta. La habitación limpia, funcional, el personal super amable! Lo único si tuviera que mencionar algo es esto: La recepcionista me dijo que no me dio una botella de agua al hacer el check-in porque no estaba logeada con mi perfil cuando hice la reserva. Me quedé un poco sorprendida - me trató como un alumno que no hizo bien sus deberes. Jajajaja! El desayuno bien, pero continental standard con un huevo cocido, falta un plato caliente como salchichas bacon, huevo revuelto o estilo omelette. Demasiado caro 16.50 EUR para un café y un bocadillo.
Todo estuvo muy bien, excepto el desayuno del primer día en el que había una reunión de empresa en el salón y no había mesas disponibles y largas colas en el bufet de desayunos. Tampoco había nadie controlando quién entraba o no en el salón a desayunar. Todo el resto muy bien.
La calefacción no funcionaba en la habitación 411. Lo comunicamos el miércoles por la noche y nos dijeron que al día siguiente pasaría el técnico pero el jueves, cuando por la mañana volvimos a comentarlo, nos dijeron que el técnico no estaba en el hotel. nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitación si dejábamos la nuestra a las 12h pero no nos pareció buena solución ya que teníamos un tour programado.

El Motel One Colonia-Neumarkt se encuentra justo en la antigua plaza del mercado de ganado de la ciudad, fundada ya en 1076. Hoy en día, aquí ya no predomina el comercio de ganado, sino las boutiques de moda, los grandes almacenes y la vida urbana. La calle Schildergasse está justo al salir del hotel y te lleva al centro de la ciudad en pocos minutos. El histórico ayuntamiento, el Museo de Artes Aplicadas, el puente Hohenzollern y el Rin están fácilmente accesibles. En el casco antiguo te esperan callejuelas medievales, cervecerías de Kölsch y, por supuesto, la catedral de Colonia. Por eso, tu hotel Köln Neumarkt es la opción ideal si quieres combinar compras, cultura y paseos por la ciudad.

Variedad gastronómica junto a la catedral
Desde nuestro Motel One en Neumarkt nos dirigimos primero hacia el casco antiguo, hasta . Tras cruzar el puente Deutzer Brücke, paseas hacia el sur bordeando el astillero Deutzer Werft en dirección a Poll. Por el puente giratorio Köln-Deutz, pasas junto a los prados de Poller Wiesen y el puerto de Deutz hasta llegar al puente Südbrücke, desde donde se disfruta de unas vistas maravillosas del perfil urbano de Colonia. Una vez cruzado el Rin, se atraviesa el puerto de Rheinau (donde hay cafeterías y bares ideales para hacer una parada), se pasa junto a las llamativas grúas y al Museo del Chocolate, y se regresa al Heumarkt. Quien lo desee, puede ampliar fácilmente la ruta y seguir desde el Heumarkt río arriba hasta el puente Hohenzollern. Allí, cruza el río una vez más y da una pequeña vuelta por el Rheinpark antes de volver al centro de la ciudad por el puente Zoobrücke. (6 km / incluyendo el desvío por el Rheinpark: 11 km)
