Everything was lovely, very clean room, pleasant staff. The sound-proofing in the room is excellent, no noise from the street or the neighbours. The only thing that bothered us was that the bathroom door was very creaky and needed some oil/maintenance. Using the bathroom quietely at night was impossible.
The hotel, as usual was friendly, comfortable and clean. My only issue is with the breakfast area which is badly organised, crowded and noisy. Too much space is given to seating for the bar, which is also overfull. Breakfast time is generally busy and people go to the breakfast seating first, the other seating only gets used once thus is full. This needs to be rethought because it doesn’t make for a pleasant breakfast experience
Our stay at Motel One had some positives, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. On the positive side, everything was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, we had a major issue with the heating in the bedroom. The room was extremely hot, and we couldn’t open the window because it faced a very busy road, making the noise unbearable for sleeping. At 3 a.m., we had to ask for a fan just to get through the night. The next day, staff checked and found that the AC display was broken, so we couldn’t turn the heating off. They provided another fan, but this meant we had to sleep with two fans running, which was still uncomfortable. Both nights were very unpleasant—we couldn’t sleep properly and ended up with bad headaches due to the heat. Sadly, because of this experience, we wouldn’t return.
We had again a situation at the reception. The Kidness at the reception is always an issue - our locker was blocked and there was really no understanding / problemsolving…
Late informed about the impact to the hotel availability due to the Paris Marathon. Furthermore, the AC in the rooms and hotel are not working properly to provide a comfortable temperature when it’s hot outside.
The hotel and staff are excellent - rooms clean - bar friendly and good choice. Reception very helpful - I was moved room due to the heat and lost my iPad but they found it. The only issue was the heat / I was originally on 7th floor but it was so hot I got no sleep so I complained, but as no AC they offered to move me to a lower floor which was better.
We had a great stay at Motel One. The employees were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The only thing was the aircondition in the room that wasn’t working properly. But overall an amazing stay
La estadia fue super agradable, el staff super amable, sobre todo el de desayuno, todos los dias que estuve mi experiencia con el team de desayuno fue muy buena, estan super pendientes y son muy amables.
Although the hotel is located at the periphery of the city, it is a great place to stay due to the proximity of the Metro station, the beautiful park across the street and the very comfortable lobby with family-style atmosphere in the evening. Ideal to rest with a good glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing.
Motel One quality, though the rooms are quite small. The breakfast (choice, quality and presentation) could be better; places for the breakfast are limited. Nicely located - close to metro and other public transport. The museum close to the hotel is to be recommended. Staff is kind and helpful.
I turned up at the hotel 5 hours before check in after travelling for about 28 hours. I was met with a warm and welcoming smile and was given a room immediately which was awesome. The room was great - clean, warm, quiet and comfy and the hotel was close to the metro and places to eat. I'd recommend it highly to anyone.
Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée was the best choice for my first time in France. Everyone was super friendly and I got a lot of help and answers for every question about the city. I'm totally satisfied with my little holidays and will for sure come again and recommend it to my friends! Thank you so much!

Home away from home! This was my second stay at MO Porte Dorée, and it won’t be the last for sure. Really decent value for money, great neighbourhood, friendly staff, good service, comfy beds, absolutely no complaints about the cleanliness, and reasonably sized rooms by Parisian standards. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
We had an excellent one night stay and decided to extend our stay another night. Staff was great, very welcoming and rooms were great at an excellent price—no complaints. Quiet location with easy access to metro.
I had a really nice stay with my partner. I truly thanks the staff who was very nice, polite and available for us. We also appreciate the free bottle of water when we first arrived. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel! Great for what we paid. However there could be disposable slippers in the room. That was missing for me. But in the end it didn't affect my comfort. I loved that the towels were thick. It was cozy. The bed was comfortable. And the staff provided clean towels if we asked. That was amazing. And the breakfast was good. But, it was normal. Not extraordinary. I loved the coffee. Although, there were ants near the honey and jams... That was not so great.
Staff were so friendly, bar is beautiful, breakfast was delicious and value for money. We had a great time!

Hi, the experience was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. However, the receptionist who welcomed us was not friendly and spoke to us with little sympathy. Despite that initial attention, the overall experience was good.
Very good. 1 remark. Breakfast area is sometimes too crowded that we had to sit in the lounge area. Good seats however for eating the seats are not very comfortable.
All well, but they didn't give us the bottle of water as a beOne member. Also the view of the highway is not the best, I thought that as a beOne member I would at least have a better view.
The room was as expected except it was too warm. Also, we weren’t offered a bottled water as a Be One member. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the property was lovely.
Hotel very clean, nice and cosy. The chimney fire on tv in the bedroom is an absolute pleasure. I would have appreciated a light curtain in the bedroom in order to hide the view for the surrounding buildings whereas to pull the heavy curtains and be in darkness. But it is a small inconvenient.

How is it possible for an hotel which main element is to sleep well to be so noisy, why would you let people run and laugh at 5am next to the room. Idc how the hotel is looking if I can’t sleep.

This hotel is a pleasure to stay at, the staff at this hotel make every effort to make your stay as smooth as possible, the area around the hotel is full of local cafes which are really good at looking after everyone tastes from breakfast to dinners if you want a taste of french life, or for just a checky french drink, after a long day’s sightseeing, the metro station is less than 4 minutes away, with tram and bus stops both close by, the hotel has a very useful car park which needs to be booked for you stay, so no worries on that front.The rooms are on the slightly small side but are enough for a stay, the breakfast area can get busy at normal times, thats why we ate out.the lounge / reception area is large enough to have have a chat with friends and is full of comfy chairs if your not rushing out the see Paris, travelling around Paris is so easy as everything is say just 30 minutes away so its a really good location.Excellent Hotel to stay at and having Paris’s major ring road on your door step, which you do not hear, its easy to access all autoroutes for travelling further afield or heading homeward bound, Like in all major cities take your time and dont get stressed driving on the ring road, just let them get on with them rushing around like life depends on getting there before you especially the scooters, motorbikes and cars whom seem to have a death wish!….sometimes,
All was good but three elements deserve improvement:1. Deal with the « fishy » smell in the corridors, train the front desk style to smile and be more helpful and 3 Provide a sop/shampoo that does not turn hair into straw.
These hotel rooms are really getting worn out a lot of damaged dirty carpets with a lot of stains luckily their dog brown otherwise we should be disgusted by the looks of it. The doors in the hallway are smashing like hell starting at 6 o’clock in the morning.

No hay suficiente gente en recepción. A cualquier hora del día había que esperar en cola durante más que 30 minutos

Una vez mas, una experiencia muy buena en motel one. A pesar de que accidentalmente uno de los housekeeper se llevara un accesorio del baño, puesto que se lo llevaro con las toallas, podria decir que escoger motel one para una estancia tanto de trabajo como de vacaciones es una buena eleccion.
Cuando viajamos por Europa nos hospedamos casi siempre en Motel One, comparando con otros hoteles de la misma cadena, y a pesar que la decoración es siempre ideal, el colchón en este caso no era tan cómodo y la calefacción estaba tan extremadamente alta que teníamos que estar con la ventana abierta y escuchando todo el ruido exterior. Si se corrigiesen estos puntos el hotel sería un 10

Todo excelente, instalaciones, limpieza, confort, desayuno, la amabilidad de los empleados era excepcional, hay un empleado de habla española que se llama "Ronald" que nos hizo una instancia súper agradable, se preocupó de todos los detalles y estuvo muy pendiente de nuestro grupo que éramos 6 amigas. Totalmente recomendable.
En todos nuestros viajes cogemos este motel, por la comodidad , precio y servicio para 4 dias de visita ... pero esta vez tengo que hacer mencion a la atencion del personal,.. habían dos personas que hablaban español y nos trataron espectacular.. en especial Ronald... con el fue una experiencia única..nos sentimos tan afortunadas de que estuviera en el motel...no ayudo en todos los aspectos.. su atención fue única..pendiente de nosotras y de todos los huéspedes..nunca me he sentido , me han echo sentir asi en ningun hotel.. ni motel... volveremos...siempre lo hacemos , pero ahora seguro que mas.

¡Te damos la bienvenida a París! Allí donde el ambiente urbano de la capital francesa se transforma en el popular bosque urbano «Bois de Vincennes», nuestro hotel de diseño ofrece el punto de partida ideal para exploradores de la ciudad, amigos de la naturaleza, trotamundos y viajeros de negocios. Ya desde la entrada captamos el ambiente del entorno y te damos la bienvenida con un concepto de luz viva compuesto por las grandes lámparas Butterfly y Flatterby de Ingo Maurer, así como lámparas en forma de libélulas voladoras de Damien Langlois-Meurinne.
En la recepción de nuestro hotel de diseño, los animales son los protagonistas: con su instalación de tipo collage en 3D, la artista urbana parisina Madame Moustache presenta dos impresionantes elefantes y los combina con el mostrador de la recepción en auténtico estilo shabby parisino. Las lámparas suspendidas de porcelana de Tobias Grau completan la imagen y convierten la recepción en un auténtico polo de atracción para los amantes del diseño.
Nuestras habitaciones se mantienen en armonía con el estilo de la recepción: justo encima del cabecero de cuero artificial, Madame Moustache combina un motivo romántico y soñador con la modernidad del arte urbano parisino y, de este modo, vuelve a establecer la relación omnipresente entre la ciudad y la naturaleza.
Y un poco más tarde, cuando te tumbes en nuestras cómodas camas box spring, sin duda pensarás: «¡La vie est belle!».
Tras un sueño reparador, en la zona de desayuno no solo podrás disfrutar de un variado desayuno, sino también de más diseños naturales y urbanos. El concepto de diseño auténtico continúa desde las cómodas sillas de Freifrau y Baxter hasta la pared de espejos facetados, sin olvidar las mesas de diseño de Draenert.
En el bar de nuestro económico hotel de diseño te sentirás como en un antiguo salón francés: las lámparas de araña en estilo abstracto de Forestier, una barra con parte frontal de piel acolchada con los clásicos rombos y numerosos revestimientos, y espejos en la pared recuerdan al ambiente característico de los salones franceses.
Por cierto: gracias a su fantástica ubicación en el «12e arrondissement», nuestro hotel de diseño es ideal para salir a descubrir la ciudad. Está cerca de los puntos de interés turístico más significativos, como la Gare de Lyon, el Louvre y la Torre Eiffel.
