The only thing I rated less than 9-10 was that the bread on weekdays was not that god that it was during the weekend.
Room all good - lacked and iron and ironing board
I like the location, the hotel (modern and convenient) and the breakfast. All good and absolutely way better than expected.
Great hotel, clean, nmodern and conveniently located.
Loved the stay staff friendly and welcoming
Everything went very well. The room was a bit small, but comfortable and clean. A very warm welcome. Excellent breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Miguel from the maintenance team who helped us with a broken suitcase lock on arrival. We also appreciated that the tube station Aldgate was very close by.
Great location friendly staff and a nice buzz. felt like a home from home.
as always friendly staff and nice stay
I was room 8.20. My matress was very old and had a hole, I am a regular customer and I am quite disappointed by the standard that is going down when the price is going up.
I love staying here last time because the bed was super comfy in room 9-25 but the rooms was too small. this time I had a bit more room in room 12-25 but the mattress was a bit lumpy on one side, I think its because its obs more popular to sleep the window side but this has effected the mattress. Hopefull in December when Im back again I can have the best of both
I liked it. The staff members were exceptional friendly even thought I shifted my reservation spontaneously, ordered food to the reception and lost my key card. the location is great! The biggest downside is the price. the television on the room is absolute useless: it lags, it has ancient technologies to connect to the tv which aren't even supported anymore on modern smartphones. a simple and dump google cast would have fulfilled all my needs.
A classic Motel One in an excellent location, with extraordinarily friendly staff at checkin. Many thanks!
Everything has been perfect
Perfect stay for a girls‘ trip in amazing London!
The TV was broken - kept having a fuzzy left screen. Water from tap was awful and no water provided for drinking in the room. The door to the bathroom bangs against the entrance door when opening the entrance door the window doesn't open for fresh air not enough plugs or USB connections
Wonderful staff, comfortable hotel and great breakfast. I'll visit again.
The breakfats is amazing. And it's open until 11am which allows for a nice lie-in. The room was small and plain.
The hotel is immaculate and clean. Even with our standard double bedroom we had views of Docklands and could see the tip of the Shard! Will use this hotel for London stays going forward.
Fantastic location, staff were superb and room was spotless. One of the comfiest beds we have slept in
All good, breakfast Selection more and more slim.
two-day work related stay. excellent location for my activities. conveniently located near Aldgate and DLR Tower Hill. points of attention for room 419: television not working, toilet does not stop flushing unless pressed twice.
Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a rather unfriendly manner and was given no information whatsoever about the hotel's facilities or services. What made the experience even more disappointing was seeing my colleagues being assisted by a much friendlier staff member who took the time to explain the breakfast hours and even offered them a complimentary bottle of water. In contrast, I had to ask for basic information myself and practically had to beg for a bottle of water, which at one point even seemed as though I would have to pay for it. To make matters worse, I was assigned a room on the first floor overlooking a wall, allowing very little natural daylight into the room. As a result, the room felt dark and rather unpleasant. Overall, the lack of hospitality and personal attention left a negative impression. Combined with the disappointing room allocation, I certainly would not describe this as a memorable stay and would hesitate to return.
Ideally located, excellent service, clean and welcoming
Room was not as nice as previously - seemed a bit bare and worm. Some of the TV channels did not work properly. I strongly dislike the sustainable cups you provide - tea tastes wrong in them.
Nice and clean room, but could easily hear the train/underground. Simple room, not even a bottle of water included. Placed in a room which was suited for disabled, with e.g. sink in bathroom very low. Breakfast very simple.
We like the hotel very much and have stayed twice now. Staff are lovely. Love the fact that the hairdryer isn’t one where you have to continuously hold down a button to get it to work, and also there is a handy plug socket right by the mirror for it. Wish the bed linen was softer and don’t like the separate duvets instead of one double one. No extractor fan in bathroom?
All perfect, excepte because the room was too small, without any place for two people
Another excellent stay, great place, great people.
The Hotel exceeded our expectations. The decor and layout of the reception, bar, breakfast space was very clever, table space, coffee with friends, reading the paper or even space to get your laptop out were all accommodated. There were plenty of staff ready to help. Our room was clean, comfortable and stylish, and lovely and quiet even though we were in central London we had a great night's sleep. Location was excellent, close to bus and tube or a stroll along the Thames. Plenty of good places to eat nearby.
It was a lovely stay, the only thing I will say is there is never enough milk for a drink (2 each is not enough for 1 drink each.) but apart from that it was clean, tidy and the hand and body wash was very nice
It was a nice room for two nights over the weekend for a concert. The room was good, enough space for two carry on luggage’s. With two big suitcases the space would have been a bit problematic tough. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The employees at the reception where friendly and helpful to answer my questions. Luggage storage was a nice offer but I didn’t use it since I left my suitcase in my friends room.
Lovely stay. Great area, lovely room and friendly staff. More gluten free options for breakfast would be nice.
Good stay but extremely overpriced.
Overall presentation of the hotel looked standard, bleak and a bit dull. Rooms are too small, lack any inspiration and with over 400 pounds per night overpriced. I have slept in better hotels in central London for way less. I will not return to your hotel.
Easy check in, nice quiet room.
This time i had a very good room with a convincing space distribution. The staff at the reception desk could be a bit warmer and more welcoming, though.
Always love it there. Feels like a second home for the few days a year that I'm there.
Great hotel and staff are amazing. The only issue is that the wall was quite thin so when the guest next to me was a very very loud snorer, it meant that I didn't get much sleep.
i did not like my room and i am missing a gym
Great hotel with excellent staff and customer service. A perfect place to explore this part of London.
prize / quality excellent rooms a little small service and cleaning top
Higher price than normal. not the best breakfast
Excellent service from the team at Motel One. The hotel was steadily busy across the weekend of our stay which did not impair the high levels of customer service from the front desk, bar or breakfast sitting. Highly recommend Motel One for service, room cleanliness and location. Thank you.
Handicap room with no windows at the first floor.
- friendly and helpful staff - excellent room - good breakfast (the americano needs improvement)
Your breakfast are the best and great staff, and decor is womderful in lobby. Small rooms for two suitcases no closet and just hand soap to wash and shampoo, what about conditioner.
Very nice staff, terrible room, sorry it was a cage
Very nice hotel. Very good location. Very friendly personnel. Nice idea with the possibility of making tea in the room, yay, London! A bit strange that the light switches in my room were sticky, even after I wiped them with a sanitizing wipe (so, they were clean before, but for some mysterious reason sticky, not nice to touch).
unfortunately the invoice was not as agreed settled in advance putting me in the situation to either cancel or pay at the front desk - reimbursement still open to my credit card as my employer did pay for the stay

You’re welcomed to the majestic Motel One London - Tower Hill in the UK capital with a hearty patriotic greeting. At reception, a collage shows the history of the coronation ceremony, and in the lobby, the hexagonal form of the illuminated exterior façade is presented as a diamond symbol. Breakfast in regal style in the One Lounge, the decoration of which is inspired by the nearby Tower of London. Your healthy and organic breakfast is served in chivalrous fashion in front of a historic backdrop and eaten on specially-made real leather benches with Chesterfield-style upholstery. Cosy box-spring beds ensure a sovereign sleep, crowning your stay in our Design Hotel. Welcome to London!
Our affordable hotel is in the centre of the city, close to the Tower of London, which for centuries was used as a jail for prisoners of the Crown, making it the setting for numerous dramas through the ages. Just 500 metres from the hotel is the Tower Hill London Underground station, your access point to the whole city. But this hotel also makes a great base from which to explore on foot. Only a short stroll away is Tower Bridge; stroll along the Thames from here to reach the heart of tourists’ London, with all the sights essential to your visit, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. We and the city are waiting to welcome you.
