Clean. Loved the lobby, breakfast and bar. The towels were very tiny and with just one, it was hard to dry my hair and body.
Rooms as expected and Restaurant as well, however it was to crowded and not enough space!

nice room with high ceiling; bigger than expected; clean; breakfast okay; pleasant stay; improvements could be made on: breakfast - marmalades got empty; some additional kind of dry fruits would be beneficial; different tea supplier, taste of tea was pure standard from supermarket please add somebody to the bar in the evening; the amount of people cannot be served adequate with only one person/waiter; it is not the employee, he was doing the best, it is too few manpower for that big area to have a proper service. or stop serving to tables, switch to the system: order at the counter,pay at the counter,clean desks when clients are gone

Top value for money. Nice room, great airconditioning (not a luxury that 1 day we got 38 degrees). Well situated, great rooftop bar, direct access from the (public) underground parking, only 10 euros/24h. Bottle of water, with a choice of still or sparkling, at check-in. A glass would be nice though (cardboard cups? no thanks). Water pressure in teh shower could be more convincing.

I had a great experience. The staff is wonderful (special shout out to the receptionists). I think the break fast menu could be improved from time to time (Say like changing the menu often). Thanks
Very good impression from the stay, clean, neat, comfortable bed, nice facilities. Only deduction for breakfast since this offered a very limited assortment, and slightly understaffed bar.

there was no hair conditioner in my room or any toothpaste. I asked for it after the first day and was told the staff will bring it to the room until the evening but they haven't. And then i found out that the hair dryer also wasn't working, so ignored request by staff and this made me feel like i don't want to stay at Motel one again.

You have to have additional internet routers as a backup, so you may fix internet issues quickly.
Very good room: conditions great (felt like we were one of the first guests), cleaned with eye for detail. Not big, but efficient furniture and fixtures, i.e. enough sockets, cloth hangers etc. Quiet. Comfortable bed. 👍🏻 Breakfast below par, mainly due to worn out, dirty and very uncomfy low chairs. Breakfast lounge untidy and very hot. We preferred having breakfast at the backerei next door. Nice and attentive front desk staff. All in all a very nice stay, thanks!!

Rooms to the streets are noisy due the the very noisy tram. First room was a corder room (522) with double noise, after compaining got a better with only on street side, so I could sleep.

I had to checkout at 5am, and the prepared lunch box on the day of checkout was very sweet. I don’t remember her name but the staff who checked me in was very friendly and helpful!

A brilliant concept well executed! You get what you need in an effective and well designed way! Friendly personal all over the house, but special mentioning to the bar staff. The roof top bar ist brilliant, but the staff breathed live into the room. Fantastic experience! A few more fantasy around the breakfast would be nice. Very continental… Update your murals, you are offering things that are not available! The homepage is sh**! Booking is slow, didn’t work in terms of paying and price, had to call. Friendly staff again helped. Online Check in didn’t work… I registered, never got my free breakfast… So fantastic in brick and mortar, loosing points online.
I think you have a bed bug problem as I got bit during the night that I stayed at your hotel.
Overall good but two points I would like to mention. It would be niche to have a piece of furniture in the room to store clothes. The open wardrobe concept might be from design and maintenance point of view, nice, for the hotel staff but in the case of a longer stay one actually needs to live out of the suitcase. The waiter that served us in the bar lacked basic principles such as knowing how to serve drinks. We came across the same person when trying to leave the lift at the reception, where this person was trying to get in before we were able to get out. In addition there was a queue of guests behind the mentioned person. A guest minded person acts differently.

Reliable service and standard across the board. When in doubt, a place to go to without hassle and unpleasant surprise!
Very nice hotel, especially the rooftop bar. Strange that you can't take the stairs from reception to your room. The only option is to take the elevator. If you can't take the elevator, you have to leave the hotel and go to the back entrance to reach the stairs. Once you have your key card, it's not a problem, you always enter the hotel through the back door.

Leipzig-based Paule Hammer is practically a professional dreamcatcher: using a combination of text and images, he conjures up his dreams on canvas. For the Motel One Leipzig-Post, he designed an oversized stamp that takes guests on a journey across the world through 80 dreams.

Our hotel in Leipzig is unique in two ways: first, it is situated directly on Augustusplatz, close to the Leipzig Opera, St. Nicholas Church and the Gewandhaus. The Grassi Museum of Applied Arts and Mendelssohn House are also nearby. But the top location of our design hotel is far from the only thing you can look forward to. Have you spent the night in a post office before? We didn’t think so! Now you’ll have the chance to do just that, since our Motel One Leipzig-Post has breathed new life into the listed building of the former main post office in Leipzig. Built in 1964, it served as the centre for telegraphy and letter and package delivery for many years. Even before then, beginning in the 18th century, the grounds were home to the station for stagecoaches and post riders and later the Reichspost.
So we arrived at the decision for the design concept of our hotel in Leipzig post-haste: what better way to honour this tradition than by bringing it into the interior? You are greeted at reception by golden post horns and an original letterbox installation, while ceiling lights from Ingo Maurer and Gubi are reminiscent of telegram slips and post fanfare bugles – romantic highlights in the age of email and social media. From bedside tables that look like parcels to postcard collages all the way to the postage stamp-patterned carpet – there are countless details to discover in our affordable hotel in Leipzig. And of course, you will still enjoy the same comfort you expect from Motel One: an organic breakfast buffet, high-quality box-spring beds and an elegant bar with selected drinks are all part and parcel of an overnight stay with us!
