I have been before in Motel one in Vienna & Brussels & I have liked them more. They were more modern
Overall we liked it. Room was a little dated and worn compaired to other Motel One hotels I have stayed in.
Great cozy hotel. Very good breakfast. Great location
We enjoyed our stay and the services provided were excellent. Our only issue was that the ceiling fan in our room stopped working in the middle of our stay. We requested service but the fan was not repaired. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful and all the services were excellent.
The hotel was in an excellent location and was walking distance to the centre of Copenhagen,a lot of nice bars and cafe's beside the hotel, the hotel itself was very nice inside with a nice bar area and a big outdoor space as well. Staff were very helpful and friendly and would definitely stay again while visiting Copenhagen .
Hotel has super location. Services are good. Room very cosy. There was a bar in the hotel. Breakfast possible on request.
I only spent one night but the room was tiny with the bed positioned really strangely and not very comfy. No air con or fan - was very 'stuffy' in the room. Not even a kettle to boil water so I felt the rate did not match the experience. Service and everything else was fine - I did not have breakfast so can't comment on food.
Reserving parking over booking is not always registered properly in their system.
Fantastic staff working in Copenhagen and the lobby is very nice. You feel home like in any other Motel One. The bed was a catastrophe. This was not soft anymore but … I have no words for it. It was so soft, I wasn‘t able to sleep. The bed and sheets collapsed above me… the worst bed ever. I paid 250€ for not sleeping. Thank you for nothing. Ja, it was clean and lovely people working there but first and foremost I want to sleep.
Thanks for the great hospitality 😊
Great location. Friendly staff
Is not in the same level of other Motel One in different cities. I used to like it because I travel a lot and stay in different places from the same brand, but this one is kind of bad.
Positive points : friendly and very helpful staff ( especially at breakfast), convenient location and despite this not noisy (room facing courtyard). Excellent breakfast - which can also be taken outside. Our room did have space to sit but the layout was unusual. Generally an enjoyable stay, recommended.
Room, compact but modern and clean, restaurant had several vegan options for breakfast, and staff were very helpful and friendly. I didn’t use room service, but a colleague did and reported excellent service.
The room was ok and clean. The bar was wonderful with very good service. Breakfast would benefit if more gluten free options available.
Great location of the hotel in the city center. Very friendly and helpful staff that went the extra mile to accommodate - despite a fully booked hotel - for a transfer to a room with a small table and chair (to enable laptop work and virtual meeting participation at desk). Cozy and clean room (though some rooms are very small, with not in every room space for a chair/table). Very nice Danish breakfast buffet.
Bikes could be included in the room rate...
Great staff, excellent location, and clean rooms. However, the absence of basic amenities such as an electric kettle, glasses, and drinking water prevents me from rating the hotel a 9 or 10. Additionally, the restroom door did not close completely, which caused inconvenience
Motel One was great will 100% be back. Great staff and great location.
Room was like a shoebox, with a bed of 14cm wide for 2 people, would have never booked this hotel if I had know in advance. Breakfast and location was good
We had an amazing stay! From the personal at the reception to bar and breakfast! The breakfast was delicious and had everything you could wish for. We had a lovely room, overlooking the rooftops of Copenhagen. On top, the hotel is very well situated, perfect for exploring Copenhagen!
Very good location and nice hotel. Good breakfast.
Excellent staff and cleanliness, good choice for breakfast. Great location, 5min walk to metro.Only down side road works outside hotel very noisy duringweekdays (this is outside the control of hotel)
Everything was very good
The location, interior design, and cleanliness were excellent. An improvement in breakfast, particularly by expanding the available options, is suggested
Great location. Short walk from Central Station. Across the street from Tivoli. Very nice room but quite tight including the bathroom. Still a good choice for accommodations in Copenhagen.
Bed is much to soft.
overpriced for what it is. Sounds from square came through the front of build. Building works also across front of hotel from early morning. Nothing in room for water , tea etc.. no fridge - felt as if the room was poor for price paid. Breakfast would not be worth £20+ per person with a very limited hot food selection. Coffee machines very slow and queries in breakfast room for this reason i only took breakfast 1 morning. much better hotels found by my friends staying the same week.
Unfortunately the room wasn’t as clean but I noticed in the last days that there was hair from Other people on the walls in the bathroom. The room was extremely small for the money I paid for it. The window didn’t stay open by itself. All in all good.
Great room. Great location with easy walk to nearby sights and a metro station.
The hotel is situated very close to city center. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Clean and pleasant. Nice and accommodating staff. Not bad location. Tiny room. There wasn't even a chair in there. Due to the next building being quite close, there was no air circulation in the room.
The room was excelent clean, the breakfast was super..all peaple were freindly. For elder guests you should offer a room with beds where it is possible stepping onto the bed sideways ! Dietmar
Great location good breakfast and friendly staff. Room was not adequate as for our 3 nights the air conditioning system made loud vibrating noises every 20 minutes throughout the night whether on or off so we didn’t sleep well for our stay
Great hotel. Very comfortable. Great location too.
Good situated, nice beds, we missed a table and two chairs.and too much trouble to be able to watch tv.
Lovely Clean Rooms, Excellent Shower, friendly staff and a great breakfast, all at a reasonable price in a very central location.
The hotel was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. It was great to have two keycards even though I travelled alone because I was alle to have the airconditioner on while I was away so the room was not too hot. I also liked the ”no cleaning today” option. Only thing that I missed was a little shelf in the bathroom for toiletry bag and a minibar.
Beautiful room and amazing view
The room was much smaller than the usual motel one room and not at the latest standard. It needs renovation, especially the bathroom is very dissatisfying, with a shower, not holding the water in (no seal at all) and no shelf, extremely small and no tight door. All the rest was the usual good motel one standard.
Room was great and clean, bed was very comfortable. Communication before we arrived was good and helped accommodate our requests. Would definitely return and recommend
Overall a good hotel, and lovely stay. I arrived at 12 from an international flight, initially told my room wouldn’t be available until after 3 pm, however when I checked an hour later I was able to check in & really appreciated that as I was exhausted. I feel the breakfast should be included in the room rate. Would prefer secure wifi network.
Young Professional and kind people, particularly Lucia. best position, very clean, breakfast top. Rooms could be a little bigger. (At least the one I stayed).
The entire motel was clean, updated and well-appointed. The common spaces were well decorated and the breakfast was very good with great variety. Our room was a bit warm at night with only the fan and the window only tilting in slightly. Had it been any warmer outside during our stay it might have been too warm for sleeping.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Provided take away breakfast on morning of our departure at 5.00am. breakfast selection was excellent each day. Room was spotless and comfortable. Maybe provide a recyclable shower cap in bathroom would be good idea. Would definitely stay there again and hopefully visit other motel one hotels in Europe in future based on our stay here.
Fantastic experience! Welcome, team, services, room, breakfast ... everything was perfect. It was beyond expectations even. We will certainly come back and highly recommend motel one CPH.
Greatvlocation to be able to walk everywhere, very nice employees at the bar and Rezeption, very clean, very nice room
Good location and decor was nice however beds including mattress and pillows too soft therefore difficult to sleep due to being uncomfortable. No chair in room and as bed uncomfortable meant no space to sit comfortably in bedroom. No usb outlets. General lack of surface space to put things such as toiletries in both bathroom and bedroom. Overall not up to the usual quality of motel one ( I have previously stayed in Brussels,Amsterdam, Barcelona and both Edinburgh motel ones ). The thing that would have made a difference would be better mattress and pillows
Fabulous hotel in great location. Super breakfast, room & staff. Will definitely stay again.
Wonderful stay. Made to feel welcome from the start. All staff were excellent especially Mineala at the front desk. Rooms were large. Would definitely stay here again.

Your hotel in Copenhagen
Our affordable design hotel in Copenhagen is located right in the centre of the Danish capital, opposite the city hall and the Rådhuspladsen. From here, you can easily reach all of Copenhagen’s top sights – and there are plenty of them to explore. After all, the capital is one of the most important cities in northern Europe and a popular destination for city breaks, not least because it offers one of the best qualities of life in the world.
What does Copenhagen have to offer?
Top of the list of highlights is the city’s iconic landmark, The Little Mermaid. The statue of the character from Hans Christian Anderson’s fairytale awaits you on the Langelinie waterside promenade, around 30 minutes from our hotel. You’ll also find Copenhagen’s citadel here, a star-shaped 17th century fortress open to the public. And did you spot Charlottenborg Palace and the Old Stock Exchange on the walk over? You’ll also have passed Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish parliament. It’s conveniently located by Copenhagen’s gastronomic hub, Nyhavn, or ‘new harbour’. There’s something to suit everyone’s tastes in the streets of this area, with their brightly coloured gabled houses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. But Copenhagen’s lively history as a port and trading city – and the resulting architecture – is far from the only reason to visit. By the harbour, you’ll find the Royal Danish Theatre and Royal Danish Library, also known as the ‘Black Diamond’. Here, it’s not just what’s on the inside that counts: these notable examples of modern architecture are worth a stop on any city tour. And if they’ve inspired you to seek out more Nordic design, the Design Museum Denmark displays objects from the workshops of Danish designers such as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen.
Just a short walk from our hotel lies Freetown Christiania, an autonomous area that offers a very different perspective on Copenhagen – including from an architectural point of view. The alternative housing development in the district of Christianshavn has been self-governed since its creation in the 1970s and is a symbol of Denmark’s progressive culture. Our hotel in Copenhagen is also a perfect starting point for leisure activities: Tivoli, the world’s oldest amusement park, lies directly opposite. Or is Copenhagen just the first step on your Nordic discovery tour? Perfect: our affordable design hotel is located just north of the Øresund Bridge, which links Copenhagen with its neighbour Sweden.
