Great location, friendly staff & clean accommodation. Only drawbacks, no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms and the windows could have had some form of net curtains as we were overlooking garden area for privacy.
Despite a good reception, the rooms are small, noisy (you can ear the other rooms), and not practical when it comes to light gestion. Also, nothing is planned for travelers with cars, and the city doesn't like visitors, they can't park anywhere except paying 25€ the night...
It would have been better if there were a hot water maker to have some tea in the room and more amenities like tooth brush and tooth paste.
Very well located in the center of the city, though in a very quiet area. The interiors are very well decorated and very pleasant, not trivial. The room lacks of a small fridge, a coffe/tea facility, and the bathroom is extremely small (and without a window!)
Very nice facility. Friendly staff. Close to sights, restaurants. Enjoyed our stay.
Very impressive property. Lobby looks like an art gallery! Room, smallish but beautiful! Staff very nice and helpful.
Nice place to be! To bad that the airconditioning didn't work as I expected.
Fantastic hotel in a very central location. Close to several coffee shops, restaurants and the famous Kloosterstraat with its antique stores. A definite bonus was that dogs are allowed to stay in the hotel for a small 15€/night fee. The staff were very friendly, the rooms cozy and clean.
My hotel room 410 had a sewage piping problem which I indicated the smell was horrible. I indicated this to the receptionist but the next day it persisted so nothing was done.
Lovely new hotel, small but comfortable room, nice bar area, good breakfast, great location.
New, well equipped hotel with a good vibe. Only disadvantage, 4th floor window on the outside of the 2nd building, could not be opened
Rooms are very clean and soundproof Breakfast options for vegans very appreciated The only less positive remark I can make is that the room was quite small. Otherwise, all good and friendly staff. Keep it up!
We had a great stay in Motel One
This was our first stay at a Motel One and we all loved it! The Antwerpen Oever hotel is modern, spacious and looks great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; we are already planning our next visit to this hotel.
I really enjoyed my stau at Motel One. The location was very good close to the city center and to all the tourist attractions. The room was spacious, and I enjoyed particularly the tasty and variate breakfast.
Very good hotel in a toplocation With and amazing bar . In the future I’m sure the bar will be populair also for local people. I only missed a real Whisky sour with egg. But all over its a good selection that you offer so far already . We are coming back soon
It was all good except the fact that when something goes wrong with check in there is not a manager around to solve the problem.
Much to hot. Defecte airco.
An excellent value for money hotel. Modern, with great decor throughout the hotel itself, and very comfortable bed/room. Will definitely stay in this chain of hotels again
Location is perfect for a short stay in Antwerp; the hotel is very new, staff is very friendly and helpful; the only negative issue is the smell in the bathroom, as the sink in the bathroom smells quite strong, especially during the day (old pipes?!); price for one person should be lower (almost the same as for two persons)
The location, room comfort, and breakfast were great. My room was very cold, and we couldn’t get it warmer, even though I asked for help from the front desk – this could be improved.
The staff were helpful and the location was great.
Quite a nice hotel . Just surprised that the room did not have a phone to connect to reception and did not have a kettle
Perfect location and nice atmosphere
The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The infrastructure and decoration are beautifully done. However, despite informing the reception multiple times that our family (5 rooms) would arrive very late due to a wedding, we were unable to secure an early check-in. When we arrived at 4 AM, our rooms were marked as "no shows," and we had to go through the entire booking process again. This was frustrating, especially since we had communicated our late arrival in advance.
I am a new fan of Motel One - my experience in Antwerp was exceptional and has earned new loyalty from me! I will look for Motel One in every city from now on.
Minor tweaking needed. Easy to go to an 10/10 rating for future visits. I would expect from a 3 star hotel to receive a water in the room, at least on arrival, if not daily. It was also disappointing not have coffee/tea and kettle in room. All my previous hotels offered the above, you would expect it as a given for 3 star hotel. I booked a room with an extra-large double bed, since I toss and turn a-lot when I sleep. When I went to bed I discovered my bed had to single duvet covers on, which was very strange. Floor gets wet when you shower. Brand new hotel, was surprised to find that my aircon didn’t work. Had to open the window during the night to let cool air in. Barman: I enjoyed my visit in the bar area. He made a great espresso martini. I ordered a martini, waffle and a sandwich. His comment was he will see if he has time to make the sandwich. I was surprised by comment, bar area was 70% full and they had a snack mane at every table. Why advertise something if it will be a convenience. Breakfast area: trying to fit in to many small tables. See photo. Every time someone gets up to get something from the delicious spread, their bum braces past your food while eating since the space between tables were very small and had to turn sideways to get through. Despite the above, still a great hotel to stay at. Just minor tweaking that needs to be done. Great location in the fashion district and close to tourist attractions. Reception staff kind and helpful. Lounge/chill area is great and very chic. Definitely make use of this area and spend time here having a drink. Breakfast was delicious and manager on duty was very friendly and helpful. Very nice looking hotel.
Super location, friendly staff.
Perfect place to stay for our city break. Very helpful staff. The safe in block 2 room 401 is very difficult to use and resulted in me having difficulty getting my passport out when wanting to leave. Reception staff were very quick to sort. The room is better suited to single occupancy with only one bedside table and light. And in fairness I think the room was intended for my daughter who ended up in 303. Bar staff also very friendly
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast
Super friendly and helpful staff, public areas and guest room in perfect condition.
All in all a very pleasant stay. Modern, nice, as always in a Motel One. There’s always style and quality. The only downers are - the seating situation at breakfast, there are always not enough standard chairs available and having breakfast on a lounge sofa is often humiliating - parking was great but one thing that Antwerpen (and apparently whole Belgium) is missing is EV-Charging, having chargers in the parking lot would have made a very big impact for us
Wonderful and peaceful place in the middle of Antwerp. Thank you!
Friendly staff, good rooms.
Pleasant stay at your hotel. We only missed the possibility to make a cup of coffee/tea in our room.
+ :Very good value for money, nice rooms , not big but very comfortable. Good breakfast, maybe a bit to crowded. Nice bar with beautiful design furniture and a beautiful terrace, which is a real added value. _ : de skirting boards of the floor covering in the hallways and rooms were poorly claened, which is a shame in such an new building
Best place to stay when you visit Antwerp Nice bar open 24 hours Rooms are clean it’s very quiet at night you can sleep well Breakfast is amazing And most important your staff is excellent ,everyone! We will come back
Everything was very very good! Important to mention: all personel working there was so incredibly kind, it was a blast!
Beautiful modern hotel in city center
We had a lovely stay in HotelOne Antwerp. The rooms were clean , the breakfast was good and the staff friendly.
Nice hotel in the center of Antwerp Breakfast was good however the number of seats are limited given the number of rooms
Very nice clean hotel. Nice employees. Great lobby and in the center off the old town of Antwerp .
Clean, comfortable, nice decoration, friendly staff, good location. Suggestion: coffee/tea making facilities in the room would make it perfect.
The hotel is very centrally located, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is incredible. A big variety of food and very delicious.
Everything was perfect, except the bathroom. Unfortunately, the shower drain had a terrible smell. We informed the reception, and they said they would put something in the drain to help with the odor, but it didn’t make a difference. The smell was so bad that we avoided using the bathroom entirely—only stepping in briefly to wet our toothbrushes. It really impacted an otherwise great stay.
Evething was perfecet, only when we need to check out early in the morning they have forgot to prepare us Breakfast box. We mentioned that a day before twice.
Overall everything was oké. Only the breakfast area was way too small for so many people.
Great new hotel, perfectly located at Antwerp old town / city centre, with nice staff and welcoming room design and size. Happy to have stayed here and would recommend it to others too! The parking elevator was a nice surprise (could have been called out clearer as we missed the entrance and had been looking for an underground parking entrance at first; vegan options at breakfast could be called out and labelled clearer to navigate hungry vegan food lovers in the morning)
Nice, clean, quick check in. A little bottle of water would be perfect.
The heating/airconditioning system was rubbish. It was so hot during the night with no way to adjust the temperature. I heard someone else complain at the reception and the receptionist just said sorry, and that the system had not switched to airconditioning because it was just 2 hot days, but that the heating was no longer on. She suggested to open the window. A bit ridiculous. And paying over a 100 euros a night in a hot room with no means to adjust the temperature is outrageous. I hope this gets fixed in the future. Furthermore, I was surprised to see no USB charging ports, which are very common nowadays. I had expected this being such a new hotel. Other than that rooms were very clean and I liked the design.

Hotel Antwerp
A city with many facets
At first glance, Antwerp may not be as well-known as Paris, Rome or London, but that is what makes it so special. The blend of modernity and history makes the place what it is: a top destination for all those who love city breaks!
Every corner of Antwerp tells its own story. From the historical, winding alleys of the Old Town to one of the largest ports in Europe – a destination full of variety. What people particularly appreciate about the city, however, is its creative spirit. It’s not only its impressive art history or the world-famous diamond quarter that shape the image of Antwerp, but also the fashion scene. Because if you love fashion, you won’t want to leave this city. Even in its early years, the port was an important place for the textile trade, which is why Antwerp gained great influence on fashion trends over the years. That’s why the interior design of our Motel One hotel is all about fashion.
The design hotel and fashion
The theme of fashion is already evident in the hotel’s entrance area. The reception area is adorned with hand-woven rugs, designed by a former apprentice of Dries van Noten, a Belgian fashion designer. At the hotel bar, the classic checked pattern comes to life and lets them shine in all their glory. The design at this Antwerp hotel has been carefully thought out, and the love is in the detail – as in all our hotels. But the fashionable elements are not the only thing the hotel has to offer. It is equipped with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, in-room smart TV, iron and ironing board rental at reception and limited parking for a relaxed arrival by car. There is also a delicious breakfast with regional specialities and, as it’s a child-friendly hotel, there is even a free breakfast for children under 6 years. For a restful night, the design hotel in Antwerp even provides hypoallergenic pillows and duvets on request. You also have the option of free luggage storage with us, so that you can take a walk into the city centre before check-in or after check-out without having to drag your suitcase along with you.
Location of the hotel in Antwerp
Speaking of downtown, the hotel is located on the edge of the fashion district, in the vicinity of numerous designers, fair fashion stores and concept stores. The MoMu – short for the Modemuseum (fashion museum) – and the famous Kloosterstraat with many well-known young designers are also within walking distance.
So the hotel boasts an excellent location in the centre of the city. You don’t have to go far to visit the most famous sights!
The waterfront area is very impressive and you should not miss it. The Groenplaats, a busy square near the Cathedral of Our Lady, is a well-known photo subject. The Diamantenviertel (Diamond Quarter) can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. You’ll find it around the corner of the impressive building of the central railway station. Did you know that Antwerpen-Centraal railway station has been voted one of the most beautiful stations in the world? And if you’ve had enough of historic buildings and sparkling diamonds, you’ll find the Antwerp Zoo and the Chocolate Nation museum right next to the tracks. Look out, another superlative! For Antwerp is home to the largest museum of Belgian chocolate in the world. So many sweet temptations…

Food and drink in Antwerp
Hungry after all that sightseeing? Belgium is famous for its waffles, chocolate, pralines and chips – here, they even claim to have invented the chip. Moules-frites (mussels and chips), are also a typical Belgian dish. While you’re in Antwerp, it’s also a good idea to try handjes – special biscuits, cookies or chocolate, either with or without a marzipan filling, in the shape of a hand. Fancy some refreshments away from the hotel after an extensive shopping tour through Antwerp? Then we recommend a visit to a cosy café, bar or restaurant as a fitting end to a successful day of sightseeing. The city is truly a paradise for gourmets.
Your hotel in Antwerp – the perfect getaway
Antwerp is a city that always surprises you. Here you will find the perfect blend of tradition, culture and plenty of creativity. Anyone who comes here quickly realises that this is not only a place to look at, but above all a place to experience. If you are not arriving by car, there is the option of arriving by train via Antwerp’s central station. From there, it’s either a 25-minute walk to the hotel or you can take the tram to Groenplaats. If you are arriving by plane, the airport is about 30 minutes away by public transport. After arriving in Antwerp, you can come to our hotel and then go and explore the city at your own pace. Whether you’re planning a long weekend or a spontaneous getaway, our Motel One hotel is the perfect starting point. We look forward to welcoming you!
