Very nice hotel in a great location
Great location . Quiet and close to most tourist sites . Beautiful quiet new property . Very peaceful feel. Breakfast very good.
Lovely hotel, well situated, lovely staff.
Very comfortable stay thank you
Nice but small room, beds comfortable. Room smelt of drains and showered spilled out into bathroom floor. Missing basic provision for tea/coffee. Ok for a short stay
Attractive decor, friendly staff. Small but comfortable room. Only one free bottle of water for a stay of 5 days seems a bit lacking. Great location.
Clean, the common Spaces are very nice, the breakfast is quite good but for the price I paid I would like something more (the waffel were like stones and there was not so much choice for salty options)
Very welcoming and polite staff Would have liked a kettle in room option from reception
The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful Spotless room Great location
Excellent all round, could not fault this hotel for value, cleanliness and attentive staff.
Sensational Staff drin cleaning to front desk and bar
You can’t beat the location in Antwerp. It’s an easy walk to most of the key sites in the city. Right around the corner from the Plantin-Moretus Museum, the fashion district in one direction, the cathedral in the other, a 15 minute walk to the Museum of Fine Arts. The room was lovely for one person. Very nicely designed. I didn’t purchase breakfast. There are cafes and bakeries nearby. My only complaint: the bathroom door closed aggressively on its own, so I made a makeshift doorstop to protect myself from attack. It’s a short ride from the train station, but note that as of this writing, none of the escalators or elevators were working at the Central Station Diamant metro. If you have heavy bags or mobility issues, I recommend taking a cab.
Motel One Antwerp defied expectations. We loved everything about the place. The proximity to the old town was one of the main reasons we decided to stay here. It is central, easy to find, and the lobby and decor were both exceptional. It’s only about a short 4 minute metro ride from Antwerp Central Station and it’s an easy walk to the hotel. Loved the staff as well as they were very energetic and helpful.
Another excellent Motel One in a great location.
Very good hotel with a good location and friendly staff, unfortunately the rooms are not well soundproofed, which means you can hear some noise from other guests. Nevertheless, I would gladly return anytime.
I love staying in Motel One and find it really great for a single traveller and have stayed in Motel One's in 4 or 5 different countries now. My stay Antwerp was everything that I would have expected although my complimentary bottle of water was forgotten and the queue at reception was pretty long at times and there was quite a wait to be able to go to my room. I don't know if it's new, or particular to Antwerp, but I didn't like having to pay for everything as it was consumed e.g. drinks at the bar or breakfast. It made me feel not like a guest who was staying there but as a customer who had just come in from the street. The reason I was given for being asked to pay was "so we (reception) don't forget to charge you". It just spoiled the experience a little.
Very good location, staff very friendly and helpful. Room very compact but everything needed is there.
Excellent location, welcoming staff and comfortable room. The bathroom was a little too much on the small side and could have benefited from slightly more space, and the temperature in the room was uneven, but other than that it was a great stay. I loved the breakfast buffet and the welcome water bottle.
Very good location, near shops and old town. Very poor breakfast (as in all Motel Ones we stayed) but very nice bar area design (again as in all Motel Ones we stayed). The only reason we stayed in more than 6 Motel Ones is the bar/reception area design.
Modern hotel. Great location. Functional and cosy. Lift parkind: an experience :) Nice staff.
The stay was lovely, a nice room, good breakfast, and very kind staff. Due to our short stay it wasn't quite necessary but a coffee machine and/or a kettle would have been nice to make a cup of coffee or tea in the hotel room.
Interesting hotel with a very good position in the town
It's in walking distance to the town hall and other major sights. I also walked to/from the central train station, which probably took about 25min. It's very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was the usual continental choice for a Motel One and perfectly fine for me. It was also great that they were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room away from the lifts. The only thing that would be great in the rooms would be a kettle/tea tray, but I'm aware that that is not necessarily a 'continental' thing, so, it's really just a minor quibble. Overall, also with less than 90 Euros per night, I was very happy with my stay there.
All OK
Very nice and warm hotel.
Smooth direct online booking Professional welcome Clean modern room Great breakfast Great value for money
Everything about our stay at Motel One was excellent: the location was perfect, the room clean and quiet, the bed comfortable and the shower lovely. The staff were friendly, warm and helpful and the bar even had a bottle of Italian grappa! If ever we were to return to Antwerp (not impossible - well worth a visit) we would choose Motel One again. Check in process was very fast, location is perfect and the room was clean and has everything you need for a short stay.
Lovely designed hotel and comfortable room
great place to stay !
Great location, parking availability, brand new furniture!
Booking of two nights via the app and indicated that no cleaning for the benefit of the environment should be done. Still, the room was cleaned and personal belongings removed. according to reception, the system had booked me out. eventually my belongings were found. of course also another problem with air conditioning but without problems a change of the room. For the rest, I'm satisfied.
Room big enough, very clean. Hotel in a perfect location. Service very good.
Hotel decor was amazing and design , however lacked a few things you expect to be in a hotel room like a fridge and a usb socket . Staff are polite however dont really go out of their way to help you .
Beautiful and spotless facilities with pleasant staff
Was good. Location was great. I did miss scrambled eggs at breakfast. Before 16th it was a bit meagre.
Very friendly people, quiet room, lovely food, good stuff in the bar
No surprise very nice stay
Loved the location. Located a small block from a neighborhood park which was surrounded by eateries and shops. Known as the start of fashion row and 4 blocks from the main city center square you would find it it hard to beat. Price was great private parking 2 blocks away. Clean, friendly staff and great breakfast.
Room was clean and neat. Reception was smelling like sewerage - horrible. Because of the smell we did not want to sit at the bar. Pity.
my favorite hotel when staying in Antwerp from the front desk reception staff to the service at the gin bar in the evening. Especially the bar manager Enish ( sorry if i spelled his name wrong) always on point friendly and attentive. Remembering peoples name and preferences flawlessy. During the stayi encountered a issue and the whole team made sure we were well taken care off and made us feel welcome. a superb team en well deserved 5 star review. Kind regards Yannis aka Mr Kinobe Gin Tonic We will be back for sure in the coming months
Super central and still quite spot in the city center. Nice and clean room.
Overall, very happy with the experience; all team members were especially friendly and helpful. Only negative comments I have are regarding the bathroom. The bathroom door didn't prop open by itself and therefore, I had to use the luggage rack accordingly. The shower also made a mess on the bathroom floor, even with a towel down. I realize these are rather minor in nature, but need improvement in my opinion.
The room was unbearably hot, and there was no way to modify the temperature or allow for airflow. The room was extremely stuffy and difficult to sleep.when the shower was being used the room became a sauna
At night around 1 o clock ambient lights turned on by itself and couldn't turned off even hotel personnel helped but problem didn't fixed so ı had to try to sleep lights on. First day air conditioning was not working they change the room but second room worse than first one the sewage pipe sound was very bad and finally light problem.
I took advantage of MotelOne's summer sale to book a short city break in Antwerp and I was not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. Everything was clean, safe, and comfortable. The selection at the bar was excellent, and the local Belgian specialties at breakfast were delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Alles top
Wet well located and affordable, newly renovated, very clean and neat, good reception, highly recommended for a few day stay in Antwerp. Unfortunately no direct parking at the hotel but a few options pretty close by, a bit costly though. Overall very good impression
I reserved à parking Space which was not available due to constructions in the street. I was disappointed not to be informed before hand that there was a problem. It would have made the arrival less stressful as I had to find another solution on my own.
Fab location; funky design; well-appointed rooms; great breakfast; friendly staff. What more do you need?

Hotel Antwerp
A city with many facets
At first glance, Antwerp may not be as well-known as Paris, Rome or London, but that is what makes it so special. The blend of modernity and history makes the place what it is: a top destination for all those who love city breaks!
Every corner of Antwerp tells its own story. From the historical, winding alleys of the Old Town to one of the largest ports in Europe – a destination full of variety. What people particularly appreciate about the city, however, is its creative spirit. It’s not only its impressive art history or the world-famous diamond quarter that shape the image of Antwerp, but also the fashion scene. Because if you love fashion, you won’t want to leave this city. Even in its early years, the port was an important place for the textile trade, which is why Antwerp gained great influence on fashion trends over the years. That’s why the interior design of our Motel One hotel is all about fashion.
The design hotel and fashion
The theme of fashion is already evident in the hotel’s entrance area. The reception area is adorned with hand-woven rugs, designed by a former apprentice of Dries van Noten, a Belgian fashion designer. At the hotel bar, the classic checked pattern comes to life and lets them shine in all their glory. The design at this Antwerp hotel has been carefully thought out, and the love is in the detail – as in all our hotels. But the fashionable elements are not the only thing the hotel has to offer. It is equipped with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, in-room smart TV, iron and ironing board rental at reception and limited parking for a relaxed arrival by car. There is also a delicious breakfast with regional specialities and, as it’s a child-friendly hotel, there is even a free breakfast for children under 6 years. For a restful night, the design hotel in Antwerp even provides hypoallergenic pillows and duvets on request. You also have the option of free luggage storage with us, so that you can take a walk into the city centre before check-in or after check-out without having to drag your suitcase along with you.
Location of the hotel in Antwerp
Speaking of downtown, the hotel is located on the edge of the fashion district, in the vicinity of numerous designers, fair fashion stores and concept stores. The MoMu – short for the Modemuseum (fashion museum) – and the famous Kloosterstraat with many well-known young designers are also within walking distance.
So the hotel boasts an excellent location in the centre of the city. You don’t have to go far to visit the most famous sights!
The waterfront area is very impressive and you should not miss it. The Groenplaats, a busy square near the Cathedral of Our Lady, is a well-known photo subject. The Diamantenviertel (Diamond Quarter) can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. You’ll find it around the corner of the impressive building of the central railway station. Did you know that Antwerpen-Centraal railway station has been voted one of the most beautiful stations in the world? And if you’ve had enough of historic buildings and sparkling diamonds, you’ll find the Antwerp Zoo and the Chocolate Nation museum right next to the tracks. Look out, another superlative! For Antwerp is home to the largest museum of Belgian chocolate in the world. So many sweet temptations…

Food and drink in Antwerp
Hungry after all that sightseeing? Belgium is famous for its waffles, chocolate, pralines and chips – here, they even claim to have invented the chip. Moules-frites (mussels and chips), are also a typical Belgian dish. While you’re in Antwerp, it’s also a good idea to try handjes – special biscuits, cookies or chocolate, either with or without a marzipan filling, in the shape of a hand. Fancy some refreshments away from the hotel after an extensive shopping tour through Antwerp? Then we recommend a visit to a cosy café, bar or restaurant as a fitting end to a successful day of sightseeing. The city is truly a paradise for gourmets.
Your hotel in Antwerp – the perfect getaway
Antwerp is a city that always surprises you. Here you will find the perfect blend of tradition, culture and plenty of creativity. Anyone who comes here quickly realises that this is not only a place to look at, but above all a place to experience. If you are not arriving by car, there is the option of arriving by train via Antwerp’s central station. From there, it’s either a 25-minute walk to the hotel or you can take the tram to Groenplaats. If you are arriving by plane, the airport is about 30 minutes away by public transport. After arriving in Antwerp, you can come to our hotel and then go and explore the city at your own pace. Whether you’re planning a long weekend or a spontaneous getaway, our Motel One hotel is the perfect starting point. We look forward to welcoming you!
