Really appreciated your help with the delivery of my parcel, thanks a lot.
Excellent stay in Motel One London Tower Hill. Friendly and helpful staff, and a welcoming stay. The room was comfortable and had great views, the lounge areas relaxed, luxurious, yet cosy, ideal for resting and stepping out of the hustle and bustle. Perfect location, a moments walk from Algate Tube Station, and bus links. Walkable distance for great galleries including Whitechapel, Ravens Row, Barbican, and everything the East End offers, shopping, food drink, and nightlife life. Loved the breakfast, fresh, light, and set me up for the day. I'll definitely be regularly staying again. Excellent time, thank you!
Tolles Hotel
Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Bar in the lobby has a good vibe to it. Price is very reasonable for the area. I like the fact that the A/C works well. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location and very walkable.
The entire stay was amazing. Front desk had some system issues but handled it very well and remained calm throughout the issues. The lobby was so clean and very welcoming. And the bar service was amazing. I was staying with my sister who is very pregnant and the receptionist was very sweet with her making sure she wasn’t standing too long with our wait for the system. The room was also set up as a twin which I asked for before hand and was very grateful this was able to be done.
Tired rooms, rude bar staff, overpriced for what it is
The room was very clean and well presented and there is nothing to fault the room over there. The only thing that stopped me giving any higher score was the ambient noise. The room I was in must have been near some power plant that went off and made a hell of a racket a couple of times. Then the usual thing of being near a door on to the floor to access my corridor, with these banging as people passed through.
You persist in addressing me in German for no clear reason and I also fell while showering on my most recent stay. I did report this and requested a non slip mat which was delivered from my second night however no one checked as to my well being. Also there are no telephones or telephone numbers obvious in the room to allow guests to contact reception if you require assistance
Great location and very good accommodation for a very reasonable price.
Comfortable rooms and friendly staff make the stay at Motel One pleasurable.
Perfect, as always
Lovely room on top floor with great views. Very pleasant staff and good breakfast. Very relaxing and well placed for public transport. Easy walking to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Location is great for my needs. The bathroom was not clean, there was blood on the wall of the shower. I told one of the cleaning staff and she said she would inform the person who had cleaned my room so that it would be as is should be. When I returned late on Saturday evening it was still there. I find that disgusting and it will def impact my decision about returning..
Great location and value for money. Reusable plastic cups is not better for the environment than glass, it makes the hotel look cheaper with plastic cups. AC and bathroom are big pluses. The carpet have seen better days and could use a good cleaning or replacement, as it looked dirty and felt a bit sticky when walking with barefooted.
Very satisfied, would like to visit again.
I normally have a really nice stay with you. However, on this occasion I had someone try to get into my room at 4am which was a little scary. It made me realise there was no phone in the room to contact reception and where my room was positioned, I had no mobile service so was unable to contact anyone int hat situation. I also did not seem to have a rubbish bin the room either.
I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Looking forward to stay at the hotel in Spain!
I had a beautiful room, corner, great view. Room spacious enough for a city trip compared to other hotels in London. One thing I wasn’t happy with AC didnt work well. Somebody came to repare but couldnt fix it. Was surprised next day they didn’t try to repare. Or at least offer a drink or free breakfast for the hassle.
Very nice staff and room was clean and bright.
Excellent stay in a great location. Very clean rooms, professional staff and good choice in the bar and at breakfast. All that I would expect from a Motel One.
Although the hotel is stunning, I wasn't aware that you could request certain housekeeping items, so we struggled for the time we were there I emailed with questions before our booking but had no response whatsoever so we had no idea.
Very comfortable room with decent breakfast options and a convenient location
The only problem was that toilet flushing mechanism was not working twice. First time, it’s been fixed by receptionist, second time I’ve done it myself.
Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable
The room was comfortable, location excellent and staff very forthcoming. The price for the value and taste of the continenta breakfast was perfect. Definitely will stay there again.
Really comfortable stay. Clean hotel. Friendly staff.
I could not ask for a better service. I traveled really early from Edinburgh and they allowed me to check in early on my arrival which allowed me my own space to change and get ready for my event rather than waiting until the normal 2/3 check in. staff were accommodating and friendly and Natwest group will continue to use motel one as our first choice for this reason.
Very beautiful. Bruno is really kind and realible.
Excellent, couldn't fault
Really lovely hotel, and easy check in with the online.
Great place for short stay. Could do with more hanging space and a fridge for longer stays
We like the conception of Motel One and we choose often Motel One to stay, but this time in London we didn't feel us like welcome guests. I booked the room months ago, but we got probably the worst room (119) in this hotel. I asked to change the room (at the same time was possibility to book rooms online), but the young man in reception was not helpful. Finally, another receptionist was ready to find a solution for us. To end positively, the room was clean as usual.
Great central location. Staff so friendly
The water in the shower was lukewarm
Fantastic hotel within easy walking distance to the Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Spitalfields, etc.. Also extremely close to Aldgate tube station and Tower tube station. Beautiful lobby and very helpful staff. Room was great with a wonderful view (we were on the 14th floor).
We had a wonderful night at our first visit to Motel One London. Room was fine and clean, breakfast was good.
I ended up with a disabled access room that I didn’t book, handed the wrong suitcase from storage and the room had a foul drain smell. I used to stay with you every week although now use other hotels nearby… your prices are going up with the quality of accommodation is going down.
The hotel was nice, clean and well ran but the price I paid for 1 night was excessive. The price for the breakfast was also too high for what was offered. For starters the breakfast should have been included, secondly for the same price I could have eaten at a nearby cafe/restaurant and had more options (there was no fruit, no hot foods, no porridge, limited etc). The seating for breakfast was also quite awkward as the space doubles up as the bar/lounge so lots of low tables but high seats and as a solo traveler I did not want to take up the more suitable dining tables as they could have sat 4 or more people. The room while nice was quite small so wouldn't be ideal for staying any longer than 1 or 2 nights. There were also no amenities (gym, pool, sauna etc). Overall a nice hotel if cost and facilities aren't a concern personally I wouldn't be rushing back.
Clean, comfortable and in the heart of the City. Definitely recommend it.
Was horrible in every way - bed shower etc Paper cups and instant coffee?
Extremely near to Aldgate Underground (2min walk). 10min walk to the Tower Bridge and Bridge theatre. We know what we get when we book at MotelOne and it never dissapoints. Very friendly staff and service minded. We very much enjoyed it. Loved the tasty water at the reception desk! Nice idea.
I loved my stay at the hotel, it was beautiful, clean, well organised and practical. The view from the room was great and I intend to return soon
The location and cleanliness of this hotel is superior. However, there was a damp smell in the bathroom, probably as a result of missing ventilation. I would also suggest staying on a higher floor as the rattling of the tube could be felt on the first floor. Overall I can't recommend staying here enough and will probably return again!
Amazing hotel close to the center by train and in a safe area. Easy walk to Tower Hill and other famous sites. Kind and welcoming staff, cozy reception with lounge area, nice rooms and good bed. Will stay there again
All in all, I enjoyed my 3rd stay in this hotel. The prices, however, were clearly too high (roughly 100% higher compared to my last stay in Oct.2023) and not justified for a 3-star hotel.
We are really m1 lovers. We stayed in M1 Rotterdam, zurich and now Antwerp. But sory to say Londen was really bad. The staff in the breakfastroom doesn't say goodmorning or looks at you. They only look to the ground. You don't feel welcome. Cleaning of the room and reception was very good. Door of the breakfast room and bar was broken we sat 4 mornings and evenings in a cold bar and breakfastroom. The ladies of the breakfast Room we heard them gossiping behind the coffee machine about guests which is not okay. You feel to much as a guest. One toilet was broken in the breakfast area and when sitting in the breakfastroom you only see dirty fingers and drippers on the glass of the bar. We wanted to order a local beer in the cold bar in the evening but they ran out of local beer !!! So we needed to take a Peroni. Come on make sure to make it possible to support the local economy. Room was very small although we booked the most expensive. No safety closet which is a pitty. Right now we are in M1 Antwerp and they show how it needs to be. Part of the staff in Londen is worthless which make you feel unwelcome which we are not used in M1. We are really fan of M1 but if Londen would be the first hotel we should have tried we would change to Hampton by Hilton and never come back. Your colleagues of Antwerp gave us back the trust in M1. Things are going to easy for you guys in Londen so no need to take care of your guests, they will come anyway which is not okay. Sorry to say this but there is quite some work needed to make M1 Londen matching with the service in your other hotels !
It was my 3rd time in your hotel and I enjoyed it again - a lot. Your super friendly staff gave me a warm welcome and everyone was just great.
Good experience. However I didn’t sleep at all well as the room was much too light, thanks to a light shining through the ceiling from the roof void. Also the heating/aircon was difficult to control.
Great and friendly service, nice (if slightly dark) room, great location, comfy bed.
Brilliant as usual, just a 9 score this time as the front door was broken and hoover going in the lobby all weekend hoovering up the petals blown in, not a major issue though
