What is the title of your artwork? What is the special meaning behind it?
Urban Jungle: Symbiotic Futures. This work is intended to allow viewers to immerse themselves in the space and perceive it as an ecosystem that creates a symbiotic connection between the city and nature. It is designed to engage in a dialogue with the architecture of the site, so that as visitors move through the space, the work is perceived as a living ecosystem integrated into the architecture.
What are the central elements, and what message or emotion do you wish to convey through them?
This mural offers a perspective on the constant connection between the natural environment and the urban landscape. Through a composition of flowing forms, organic elements and a vibrant colour palette, the work creates a dialogue between architecture, the city and nature, highlighting how these two worlds influence one another. The work was designed to blend into the space and transform the viewer’s journey into a sensory experience that awakens a closer and more conscious awareness of our relationship with the environment in which we live. It requires no central element; the idea is to perceive it as a whole, as a single ecosystem.
What inspired you to create this artwork?
The inspiration for this work stemmed from the ‘Urban Jungle’ concept developed by the Motel One design team – an idea that naturally aligned with my artistic exploration of the symbiotic relationship between city and nature. Taking Frankfurt as my starting point, I created a graphic universe in which elements and visual language of the city merge with organic and natural forms. The result is a visual ecosystem in which architecture and nature coexist harmoniously, inviting us to reflect on our connection to the environment.
What materials and techniques did you use for the artwork?
The work was created using vinyl wall paint. The process of developing the sketch was based on collage techniques, which were later translated into the space through a visual language that combines realistic elements with abstract figures and organic compositions.

Were there any particular challenges that arose during the creation of the artwork?
The issue of lighting was a bit complicated, since the installation of lighting hadn’t been taken into account when the artwork was created. Furthermore, the color changes significantly depending on the type of light it receives, so we had to carefully consider the color palette to ensure the artwork would be perceived correctly both with and without lighting.
What made you decide to take part in this project?
The design team contacted me directly to develop this collaboration, as my visual style and concept aligned with the visual vision they had in mind. I presented them with a conceptual proposal of how I envisioned the space, and they ultimately decided to select my work. I felt an immediate connection the moment the design team sent me the invitation and told me about the idea behind the commission, as it aligned very well with my conceptual approach and graphic style.
To what extent does your work reflect the atmosphere and style of the venue?
The artwork resonates with the essence of Motel One because it seeks to transform the space into a visual experience that goes beyond mere decoration. The composition was designed to blend seamlessly with the architecture and create an immersive atmosphere, in keeping with the venue’s contemporary and creative identity. At the same time, it incorporates visual references to Frankfurt and combines them with natural elements to create a graphic language that conveys energy, fluidity, and a connection to the urban environment
