My partner and I recently stayed at motel one for a planned trip to Brussels. Upon arrival at reception, we were greeted with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The same staff checked in with us throughout our stay as we passed through the hotel. They could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We had an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the city. The room was absolutely spotless and cleaned to a very high standard. The view from our room was outstanding with a beautiful sun set every evening. The hotel was busy and vibrant with a lovely bar and outdoor area. The location was perfect and in walking distance to everything we wanted to explore. Very happy and would absolutely come back again. Thank you!
Brilliant hotel. Modern and clean. Bed was really comfy and hotel felt a lot more expensive than the price. Would definitely stay again. Brilliant location and kind helpful staff.
Front desk was magnificent! I was tired from my flight and was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready in the morning. I received a coupon for a 1L bottle of water which was much needed! Breakfast is always delicious and the variety fantastic! Clean rooms and plenty of hot water. Only problems was TV didn’t work but personnel came within 10 minutes and found that a cable was loose. AC could be a tad cooler.
We stayed in the hotel twice over the last 2 weeks and I would recommend it highly .its very central and so clean The breakfast was beautiful will definitely go back there again
Would like access to filtered water to refill my bottle.
Top Hotel in Berlin
As a regular user of Motel One, I'm keen to share my experience of the Glasgow branch. The staff were truly amazing and could not have been more welcoming. The main reason behind the drop in scores was the inability to regulate the temperature, particularly in the individual rooms. Yes there may have been a heatwave but our room was uncomfortably cold. Being advised to open the window to regulate the temperature didn't immediately rectify the situation. Interestingly, one further point was cleanliness of carpets / bedding as there was a faint smell of vomit once we'd managed to increase the room temperature.
Everything is perfect. Especially employees and cleaning.
The only real issue was the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable which meant we didn’t get a good nights sleep. The construction was a little inconvenient which affected the bar and breakfast area, breakfast had minimal options so we skipped it. If the bed was comfortable it would have been much more enjoyable as the location is great.
Our stay was marvellous after having a bad experience at our previous accommodation. Your staff accommodated our family at the last minute and even upgraded our room to one with an amazing view of the city as it was my birthday! They couldn’t do enough for us and we will definitely use Motel One again, many thanks.
Nice location, very nice room although a bit small, everything super clean and very good breakfast. Bathroom lets a lot of water outside when taking a shower, because the glass is too small.
Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and professional. Only giving an 8 because I like to have a cooked breakfast
Hello, I stayed in your hotel a few times to make a difference between the rooms and to give my opinion. I previously suggested that it would be good to have a plastic bag in the bathroom in the basket, a mini fridge in the room would be useful. During my last stay which was just last week, I did not like the cleanliness of the room, the carpet seemed unvacuumed, next to the furniture next to the bed you could see dust on the carpet, clearly not vacuumed. I wondered if the towels were washed, I even found a hair on the body towel and they do not have a smell that inspires you that they would be clean. As I said, I stayed from May to July in several of the hotel rooms and I managed to get an idea, that is why I am mentioning what I observed on other occasions now. Thank you,

The bed was killer on the back, way too stuff. Also the toilet sounded like it was slowly coming off the wall during use, I could only imagine it would be a matter of time. Also we recognize there was a heat wave at the time, though we felt comfortable outside, the room was intolerable at night. Between the bed and the heat sleeping was minimal. We were happy to check out.
Staff nice at check in check out. Appreciated stored luggage after checkout and of course Breakfast. I have used this Motel One Hauptbahnof many times!
The room was clean, comfortable and nicely presented. The bar area was nice. Staff were pleasant. It would make a big difference if there were a couple of items added to the bar menu apart from sandwiches.

Generally good. Room a little tired around the edges. A single duvet cover on a double bed for the first night. Didn't matter as I was staying alone but a bit odd. Room temperature problematic, you just couldnt cool the room, the window opens a fraction and the room system is just a fan, no aircon.
My room was excellent value for money. The hotel is in a great location, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms and hotel in general spotless clean and really well appointed. I highly recommend staying here.
More and more guest houses do not provide hygiene items: toothbrush, slippers....

This hotel is in a great location, right across the street from a luas stop. It has lovely decor, and a nice relaxing ambience. The staff are pleasant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.
Amazing stay! I usually stay in Sheraton, Hilton, Marriot, etc. But those are beyond expensive for Basel. This was comparable to a Courtyard Marriot. The amenities in room are limited (no coffee, fridge), but it was quiet, clean, the mattresses were firm, good water pressure and the hotel breakfast / bar area and staff made up for it! And to be honest - Marriot and others have cut back on room amenities as well!

It was a really nice stay, clean room with coffee and tee facility, which Motel one in Hamburg or Dresden don't have.
Excellent experience as always staying at Motel One Glasgow. I have stayed here many of times and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Super clean rooms and great amenities in the room. My only reason for 9 out of 10 score was the shower pressure was not great. I do like to have a nice powerful hotel shower that has good pressure and unfortunately it was ok. Not slow but just ok. Also not all the TV channels in my room worked. I have stayed here before in other rooms and didn't experience these issues at all so it may just be that I was on the eighth floor.
Perfect location, clean and comfortable accomodations.
The hotel is excellent in every manner from the location to the friendly staff to the comfortable rooms. It's a bit like home from home which I have never experienced in a hotel before it makes it special.
A lovely stay- great location. The staff were amazing especially with my toddler. They couldnt be more helpful or kind. Great bar and breakfast too
MotelOne in Rotterdam is allways good. However, this stay was not the best of my stays: The bed in room 412 was rather small for two adults. Friday night (July 11) the power went out in the neighborhood and the rooms and elevator were without power. I know that MotelOne was not responsible for the power outage, but it would have been good service with SMS information and status for the guests.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location, downstairs is very stylish. Bedroom very modern and super clean. Bathroom very good but only problem was floor of shower turned to ice skating rink when wet. Reception said we could have had a mat but maybe this should be offered when you arrive, it felt very dangerous

Helpful staff. Late checkout was useful. Nice bar area. Close to nice eating and shopping. Very nice bar and sitting area. Night time restaurant would have helped.

Excellent location and I will definitely stay in a MotelOne again. The hotel is really well soundproofed - a good night's sleep is my priority, and it was so quiet (even though I was only on the second floor so quite near the street). Receptionists gave me a warm welcome and I was able to check in much earlier than I'd expected. I liked the room and facilities. Breakfast was decent and good value, though the coffee from the machines was quite variable in strength, and there isn't any hot food except for 'hard eggs' (?). Service is great throughout the hotel.

Excellent experience. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, they sorted out parking for me after I had overlooked it. The room was spotless and comfortable. Excellent value for a city centre hotel. I would thoroughly recommend and have booked to stay again. Thank you.
I stay in many Motel One's across Europe. This hotel has superior customer service and is in the midst of the city center - an excellent location. Most attractions in Copenhagen are very walkable. There is a great outdoor bar in a courtyard setting. The bathrooms (as mentioned in previous reviews) are very small, even by European standards. For me, not a big deal because I spent so little time in my room. Beds are the most comfortable of any Motel One I have visited.
The receptionists were super nice, my husband was joining me 1 day later and they saved his spare card apart since I was not going to see him until very late, as I was there for work. The card might have gone lost or something, but my husband managed to get a new card to the room, I appreciate the flexibility.
Excellent and friendly service, clean and stylish rooms as expected. Always feeling very comfortable. As it´s in den heart of Basel, you can get anywhere in no time.

Room very clean and well presented along with all the Hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Happy to stay there again, next time I'm in London
I have only given a 7 as although the hotel and rooms were lovely, clean and modern the breakfast was overpriced for the selection on offer. I paid over £27 for 2 breakfasts and didn't feel the choices on offer gave value for money. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would use you again, just not for breakfast.
