The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is in a great location, well maintained, clean with nice design touches. The nightly rate is more than fair. We would definitely stay again.
Probably one of my favorite hotel stays in recent times. 10/10 would book again soon. Loved the excellent location, friendly staff, cleanliness and the rooftop was the cherry on top. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a pleasant experience.

Lovely room with a view of the memorial church and a great location for u-bahn, s-bahn, and bus access. Our favorite place to stay in Berlin.

Friendly staffs. Clean room, but a bit weak bathroom ventilation. Good breakfast. Candies at the reception are splendid.
Our stay was just fine, especially considering the price. The breakfast was very underwhelming (!!) and no water bottles were provided in the room. The reception staff was difficult to understand and we had to ask multiple times to repeat what they‘ve said. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We wondered why there was images of German actors hanging within the room, felt a bit odd. Staff was friendly especially at the bar even though their system went down and they juggled a huge amount of people with a small number of staff.

Superb location. Check-in took some time with many guests queuing. Would love to have had to opportunity to choose a high or low floor. Breakfast area is fantastic, with the possibility to eat outdoor. Suggest to put a fresh bottle of water every day in the room if guests are staying multiple nights. Overall nice experience. Recommended.
Very helpful front desk staff, friendly and welcoming. Provided advice on local eateries, and best transport routes. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Very good. Had a comfortable stay. One feedback point; didn’t have the impression that airco in the room was working, and the temperature in the room during breakfast was very/way too high…
Very good location, excellent staff. Problem is there was an old and dirt tissue in my room (right after the entrance door where you hang some clothes. Also the remote control was not working, even if the reception kindly gave me another one (still it did not work).

You have a great front desk support team. And... I left my running glasses in the room. I did not recognize that I left them for a few days after I left your hotel. After a few emails, your team sent them to me (free of charge). That is amazing! Great hospitality!
Very friendly and efficient staff at check-in time. There was a problem with the room keys (they were being switched over to a new system) but this was addressed very quickly. The room was clean and tidy, everything was there except a kettle, but this is a minor point. A question though, I was in room 815 and the chair was excellent, very comfortable - what is the make of the chair please, I would like to buy one! Please say thank you to all the staff who were friendly and very helpful.
I liked breakfast
I have stayed here a few times since it opened and to be completely honest, the standard has been slowly, but inexorably, sliding downhill. I would describe the hotel as tired looking and in need of a major refurbishment.
Very happy with my stay. Reception services very good, both arrival and departure. My room is ideal for a business trip with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. It would be good to have a 30 second delay when you take your room key out of the power slot. Very good bedside reading lamp which I do like and is often ignored.

Very comfortable hotel room, good choice of breakfasts, chic bar and lovely roof top terrace, friendly and efficient staff and excellent location with acces to lots of transport options.
Great location, lovely staff. Very helpful. My negatives are rooms are quite small and no kettle in the rooms. Love to come back after being out and have a cup of tea. Instead you need to go to the bar and wait to be served. Can be busy down there at times

Wonderful stay at the super convenient Upper West Motel One in Berlin
Whilst we had a beautiful view from our room, we were disappointed that there was only one chair and therefore we were not able to sit together. We would have appreciated tea making facilities in the room. We were made very welcome after our delayed flight which meant we got to the hotel at 02:00.
Great location to Bahnhof Zoo and the shopping district of Ku'damm. Did not take the option of breakfast at the hotel, since there are many other bakeries near by. Room was clean but tight.
• Great room, clean and well presented. The only negative was that the usual comfortable chair was missing from the room so it was necessary to sit either on the bed or the desk seat. Also there were no tea/coffee making facilities. • Professional and helpful staff. • Good breakfast but no hot food and it also became a little boring after 5 days of having the same choice each day. • The 10% members discount on reservations is a great step forward. • Paper cups in the bathroom were sometimes removed by housekeeping and not replaced.
Beste Rezeption
The service was excellent. I arrived in the early morning and needed to sleep. I was able to get a room right ahead and they saved my trip to Berlin. I also had a late check out when I was leaving two days later. They were very helpful and service minded. Perfect stay! I’ll come again next time with pleasure.
The only thing missing was an iron. Apart from that, I had a very good stay.
It was a really nice stay at the hotel. A bit crowded at breakfast but that’s ok, but i missed some scrambled eggs and bacon. I think it’s also a bit strange that people who don't stay at the hotel easily can walk in and go to your corridors. Feels a bit unsafe. I also miss to have drawer in the room for clothes.

The room was filled with some irritants, Staff was slow and unfriendly.
The Hotel was great, but there was a huge queue at check-in even though I had done check-in online already. And the breakfast plates were not being cleared quickly so it was hard to find space in the morning without wandering through the whole bar while there were many spaces available but with dirty plates left behind. Potentially a tray which people can deposit somewhere after breakfast would help make this faster. With the many towers around it was hard to find the location when coming from the Zoologischer Garten train station.
Great location, lovely interior, great bar. We arrived at 12pm and were able to leave our luggage but we weren’t told we could go to floor 10 to use the bar if we wanted to prior to checkin and it would have been nice to have spent some of the time while we waited to check in, up in the bar area.
Good hotel is in an excellent location near Zoo Garten station, with S-bhan- U-bahn and regional trains connections to all over Berlin.. The bar / lounge on 10th floor is cool but often very busy at breakfast and evening. The terrace next to the bar has great views looking over the Tiergarten Room was small but OK. I would have liked to have a kettle in the room to make a hot drink, maybe this only happens in British Hotels. Staff were really helpful.
I know MOTEL ONE and have stayed in many. Was attracted by the location and a previous visit to the lounge / bar. I was disappointed this time - lounge/bar was totally overcrowded, breakfast also overcrowded and difficult to get near food, no eggs left on either 1st or 2nd day. Room was absolutely fine. Staff were there but not engaging beyond minimal service. Will probably not return because the room rate was HIGH
Everything is fine, but I would prefer no carpeted floor in the room.

Amazing Hotel and location within Berlin. I stayed at Motel One in Amsterdam before and seriously this Hotel doesn’t disappoint. I would always opt for Motel One in any city where available.

Jeg kan ikke lige den måde jeres dør mænd ikke stoler på hvad man svarer når de spørger om man skal på rooftop bar og man så siger nej og de så forsætter med at spørger hvad man så skal Jeg svarer at jeg har et værelse og de så ikke stoler på hvad man siger og skal se nøglekort før de er tilfreds :-(
Dejligt hotel perfekt beliggenhed 😍
Altid en dejlig oplevelse af bo på Upper-West. Valgte at betale for en opgradering, og værelset var rigtig dejligt med rigtig god udsigt. Jeg havde fødselsdag dagen før ankomst, og fik en gratis drink i gave, dette var meget betænktsomt af jer <3 Eneste minus var at den side af sengen jeg valgte at benytte, var meget blød og jeg derfor ikke lå så godt, og så tror jeg ikke at det nogensinde er lykkes mig at få AC til at virke, så dette må gerne forbedres, så man kan slå den til. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold, og jeg kommer gerne igen.
