the beds in motel one are a crime against humanity. The hotel should replace the mattresses when they are this used up. I travel a lot for business purposes, never sleep as bad as when I have the bad luck of staying in motel one - so other hotels can apparently manage this somehow. + I would never get the breakfast if I would stay here privately (offers too little value for the money).

I'm a long time customer in different locations and the good standard has been always confirmed, except the Berlin Ku'Damm where I had a not very good experience about he cleaning services in the past.
As usual, my stay at Motel One was quite pleasant. Bacon at breakfast is the only thing keeping Motel One from a 10 score in my view. So, please do consider including bacon in the breakfast lineup. Otherwise, great job!
The room is very clean and quiet. The staffs are very friendly. The morning eggs even had happy faces and nice writing!
We had a great stay at Leipzig Nikolaikirche. We were particularly appreciative of being able to check in a little earlier at the receptionist’s suggestion. We thought the room was well appointed and perfect for a couple of nights stay. My wife’s only comment is she would have appreciated having a face washer towel as part of the towel set.

Almost perfect hotel in a perfect location. In the bar a wider choice of wines would be welcome; and who needs a whole menu devoted to different types of gin! At breakfast is would be good if the eggs were not all hard boiled. Of course facilities for making tea of coffee in one's room would also be good.
Everything was excellent and the staff was very helpful,especially in finding doctors for me.I had some problems and everything was easily solved. Manfred Schneider

Given we stayed 4 nights it would have been nice if the room was cleaned . We got no fresh bathroom items and no water . The latter is surprising given there is no water fountain for refills .
The new beds are not good. Not of high quality and not good to sleep. Something that Motel One was famous four is gone. If it remains the same we would not come back. Sorry.

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful, however I had trouble breathing in the room. The open window helped a little bit, but it felt like there was either too much dust in the carpet or the airconditioning. This unfortunately did not add to a fully relaxing experience. The shower head could have been cleaner as well as the bottom of the shower, some parts had mold on it.

Arriving to the hotel with the company Inditex, with Zara. The S Bahn is only one stop from Leipzig Main station, very convenient 2-3min walk, if you’re quick 1 min. Upon entering the hotel, very beautiful city and building, the staff were the whole week as o was there, very friendly and accommodating, also when our colleagues wanted to sit outside for the cushions and the orders.

The mattress was terrible and I got a back ache from it. Service very good. There should be water available in every room. Thank you.
A beautiful corner room with the Nikolaikirche right outside. Bring ear plugs if you want to leave your windows open while you sleep as you're close to the center of things. Location couldn't be better!

The perfect place for an early departure
Love the location. Love the friendly team at the reception and the coffee bar Love the design in the lobby. I do not love, and to be honest very much dislike the intense smell of chemicals in the room. Maybe the idea is to have a "pleasant scent", but it just smells artifical and ugly. Please change that - it really bothers and is a huge downside to the otherwise good experience

Good location for walking and getting around in the city center. Excellent hotel – clean, modern, and very quiet.
Overall, my stay at Motel One was very good. The rooms follow the typical modern and functional Motel One standard, and the breakfast offers a solid selection. A special highlight was the friendly and attentive staff in the breakfast area – they really made the experience pleasant. The only downside is the price-performance ratio. The central downtown location is a big plus, but it’s also reflected in the price. However, if you value a prime location and the reliable Motel One standard, this is still a great choice.

Glæd dig til en overnatning i historiske omgivelser: Leipzig Nikolaikirke var omdrejningspunktet for den fredelige DDR-revolution i 1989, der kulminerede med Berlinmurens fald. I vores "Bar 89" viser vi dig de vigtigste begivenheder og øjeblikke i form af en tidslinje med billeder. Baren imponerer herudover med håndlavede og håndslebne glascylindere med motiver fra den nærliggende fredssøjle. Glaskunstværkerne er designet af den engelske kunstner Heather Gillespie. Rumdelere i form af bevægelige lameller symboliserer bevægelse og opbrud, mens slagord fra demonstrationsplakater formidler stemningen og følelserne fra denne intense og fascinerende brydningstid. Samtidig har vi ladet os inspirere af byens årlige lysfest i form af stearinlys, der optræder som et gentagende element i hotellets designkoncept.
Den italienske designproducent ilide understreger denne stemningsfulde atmosfære med sine pendellamper i stearinlys-look, mens lysestager med lysende glasspidser fra den toscanske producent Il Pezzo Mancante lyser op over det store spisebord.
Selvsagt har vi heller ikke glemt vores saksiske rødder. I receptionen mødes du f.eks. af saksiske talemåder skrevet med brunerede messingbogstaver. Hvis du gerne vil studere talemåderne lidt nærmere, kan du slå dig ned i de indbydende siddegrupper med møbler fra det italienske designbureau La Cividina. Vores designhotel ligger midt i den gamle bydel ved siden af Nikolaikirken, Thomaskirken og hovedbanegården. Leipzig Zoo, messeområdet og lufthavnen Leipzig-Halle befinder sig heller ikke langt væk.
