I reported that cold air was blowing from the aircon system. Reception said the technician will look at it. I did not get feedback and nothing changed. The male receptionist (17 January) in his late 30 or early forties could not direct me to a Bridge 100m from the hotel. Being a staff member at a hotel I expected better service from reception.

My partner and I stay here multiple times a year, usually whenever we’re in Glasgow for a gig. The staff are always super helpful and very friendly. The rooms are tidy and the beds comfy. I usually request a high floor room and it is accommodated for every time. Great value for money in a great location.
Clean, great value for money and perfect location!
Well, I worked with other hotels, the receptionists was very kind. But I made a reservation for a large bed room with king bed and when I went upstairs it was 2 single together, it was very uncomfortably to sleep, for me and my pattern. We didn’t like it. I pay for a KING SIZE BED, not 2 single together. Very sad about it. And wasn’t sugar in the room to drink the tea.

Excellent value, clean room, comfortable bed, great shower and and tea/coffee making facilities. Very close to rail station and city centre. Some biscuits tò accomany tea/ coffee would have been a nice touch.
i got my room early it was great no hanging about then i was able to get on with the rest of my day

Hotel lobby and bar is beautifully decorated rooms lovely and comfortable had everything needed.
A good stay in a comfortable room. I did find the decor a bit dark (mostly the black elements) given that i had a 5th floor room in the 'well', so not much natural light. But the bed was comfy, a decent shower, and soundproofing was fine. Only real improvements needed were in the bathroom: * water very easily spills out onto the floor while showering no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Had to use a towel as a dam! * Toilet flush was a little over enthusiastic. Unless the kids is down, you would get sprayed 🫤

One star taken off because the only way to turn the TV off was to remove key to turn electricity to the room and we had to ask for the water token.
Don’t think the cleaning team were finished in our room, shower and sink plugs lying out and toilet brush inside the toilet. Tv cables unplugged at the back. We took care of it all ourselves, wasn’t worth making a fuss with the hotel. Would have done online checkin to save the long wait on arrival but it asked for my passport to proceed which wasn’t necessary for someone who stayed locally.

Excellent property. Loved the architecture and the way the hotel was done up. The room was just right for one person, with a thoughtfully layout. Very neat and clean - kudos to your housekeeping team. The team at the reception was exceptional - engaged and polite. The breakfast was JUST right and there were so many healthy options - which is a BIG win as far as I am concerned. If I have one small thing to say, it would be about the options of teas in the rooms. There was only English Breakfast Tea (which I love), but having some non-caffeinated options would have been super. Not the end of the world, but it makes a difference.
A very enjoyable stay at this excellent location literally few mins walk from central station. Rooms, staff and the bar were top notch. First time for me at any Motel One and will definitely not be the last.
Love this hotel
This hotel is very well situated close to Glasgow Central station. It is my second stay here and once again everything - room, service, breakfast and bar facilities wereexcellent. The staff are especially welcoming. As a coeliac, I very much appreciate the gluten free options at breakfast, including cereal and toast. It may be a budget hotel but it is five star as far as I am concerned.
We stayed in December and booked again in January for my birthday. The staff are all really friendly and made our stay that more enjoyable.
Lovely hotel in the centre of Glasgow. The room fitted our needs andvery clean. Fantastic find for the price.
First of all, the sheer ambiance made all my family very at ease celebrating a family birthday. However, we have stayed overnight before. Also, we were able to sit in the lounge area, enjoying the warm hospitality until late. Our room was very comfortable and we liked how everything in the room was so efficient and central to the city. Although I would've preferred a bottle of still water instead I used the tap water but not ideal. Great value for money though and loved the late checkout at 12 noon. Thanks Motel Once again.
The best value for money hotel in central glasgow. Location optimal : facing central train station. Caring service with a smile. Secure building. And very quite rooms, so, rest guaranteed. All the best for the coming future. PADDY M
Lovely staff, bed,nice bar. Nice room but needs more shelves/cupboards for clothes plus 1 drawer.( Otherwise 10/10) Nice bar but Expensive beer.
Great hotel, friendly, professional staff and no complaints. Only 2 small issues 1- the tv kept switching itself back on, so had to switch off at plug every night (room 243) 2- the bathroom sink takes a long time for the water to go down, might need some bicarbonate & vinegar down it! I didn’t have a chance to tell anyone at the front desk.
Receptionist was lovely and upgraded us due to a birthday celebration. Room was clean and cosy. Bar staff a bit rude.
Always our go to hotel when we come to Glasgow. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Staff friendly. Bar area very chic. Wish they offered a hot breakfast - but you can't have everything and there are cafes close by.

I was disappointed with my stay at Motel One due to an issue with the heating in my room. The heating system appeared to be broken and was blowing cold air throughout the night. It wouldn’t turn off, which made the room uncomfortably cold. As a result, I struggled to sleep and had a very uncomfortable night. This significantly affected my overall experience, which is a shame as I expected better comfort from the stay.
We stayed for 5 nights over new year. At first we were given a disabled room right over the below night club. Neither of us are disabled or deaf. We asked to change rooms which reception kindly did however the room given was so small we had to live out of our suitcase for 5 days. I have stayed here many times and always really enjoyed my stay however not this time
This hotel is in a great location for touring around the city. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, have all the usual things, hairdryer, hand wash, shower gel, kettle, tea and coffee etc. The beds are comfortable with nice pillows. The added bonus of an NCP carpark closed by, have your ticket validated at reception on check out for a reduced the parking charge. In addition, there is a great Wetherspoons right across the road. I have no reservations at all about recommending this hotel. Keep up the good work!
We have stayed at MotelOne Glasgow multiple times and will continue to do so in the future. This stay we are particularly grateful for as we needed some medical attention and the staff member who dealt with this situation was absolutely fantastic from start to finish resulting in an ambulance visit. Staff at this hotel really care about your experience and are so friendly from checking in too checking out and everything in between. Highly recomend to everyone and the location is perfect!

the room was very clean and comfortable and staff ere excellent, only thing i missed was the bar which was very nice and comfortable , it didnt sell draft beer
We stay here most times when in Glasgow. Never had any issue with noise. This time it was awful from nearby nightclub...not the hotel fault of course however, on check-in, we were advised of this and offered a room move (we checked in online) which we accepted. However, at night, it became very apparent that the room had not been moved and we could see that we were directly above the nightclub and not on the other side as offered. Otherwise a fine stay, just not as good as normal and disappointed that the room was not moved.
Habitación limpia, hotel moderno y personal amable. El único problema fue que nuestra habitación daba a una discoteca y por las noches nos costó bastante descansar. Lo comentamos en recepción y lo único que nos dijeron es que la fiesta terminaba en dos días y que podíamos escribir un mail al contacto del hotel.
We had to cut our 2 night stay short due to loud music/bass noise in our room on the 8th floor which went on until 2am. We advised reception on checkout and they understood as where our room was situated we would get noise from a nearby music venue. We were extremely disappointed as we have stayed at least 3 different occasions with no problems but has definitely made us re think booking Motel One in Glasgow again.
Hotel is situated very near the railway station and main shopping areas. Staff are efficient, friendly and welcoming. We were given a complimentary upgrade when allocated our room (though this wasn't actually mentioned when booking in). The hotel was clean, attractively decorated and well-maintained throughout.
Only issue we had was a loud noise level from a rave in a nightclub on the Sunday night into the small hours of the Monday morning. We were on the 10th floor and it literally sounded as if it was outside the window. Obviously outwith the hotels control but did put a dampener on a lovely weekend. Next time we stay I would ask for a quieter room.
Lovely spacious room with great view. However the heating didnt woek...receptiinist lovely and offered us another room ( apparently maintenance on that week ) ...but the room was half the size ...so we just stayed in the nicer room and were iffered extra blankets ..thankfully we were out late and up early so weren't too cold . Have seen similar reviews on Trip advisor regarding no heating so it seems to be a regular problem . I did ask for a fan heater ..but seemingly a fire hazard..although have been given fan heaters in other hotels in Glasgow .Would stay in the hotel again as its lovely and ave stayed before in the summer ..but wouldn't stay in the winter again
We love this hotel! However, there was a rave on til 3am and we had no sleep. This would put me off booking again if there are regular raves close by.
