I had a happy experience at this hotel, a lovely corner room, wonderful reception staff and good wholesome breakfast
Was able to check in early (thank you!), was granted my request for a higher floor (thank you!), and everything was clean and orderly, as always.
This was my second stay with Motel One Olympia Gate. Both have been excellent. I would especially point out the tall, thin, short-haired young lady who was present when I checked in Thursday, 31Okt2024. (she was not the one to actually check me in, but answered a question from the one at reception desk.) ***I was totally sick and exhausted when I arrived. I knew that I was not going to be able to eat breakfast for the two days my son reserved for me. I requested a cancellation which was granted! Next day when I saw her, she asked me how I was doing and gave me a hot cup of tea! *Those are the touches of kindnesses that will keep me returning to Motel One!. Thank You
Generally we enjoyed our room. There was a hiccup with our booking, so that our dog was not included in the booking despite the clear statement in the request and the booking was for two adults, but in the Motel One system it was saved as one adult. Finally the vents in the bathroom were full of dust, so they didn't do a good job of removing the humid air.
I especially loved the staff. So friendly, helpful & professional <3
The hotel is impeccably clean, the reception is attentive, and everything is very new.

perfect stay
Everything was so fine for the price, but a towel I used after I took a shower smelled really bad. It was so uncomfortable. Please make sure to wash your towels properly. I must add that the WiFi was mostly slow.
hotel rooms were clean and bed and balcony were comfortable and relaxing. Bathroom fan did not work properly or was too weak. No one answered phone when I called and I was on hold for 30 minutes.

Excellent location for olympiastad .. we walked there to watch Coldplay. Very pared down offering (no safe in rooms or at front desk), paper cup in room Instead of a glass, but bed was comfortable and (most importantly) you could open the window. Would stay here again if going to the Olympiastad. Good enough breakfast.
The carpet of the room was dust. In the second day of the stay the shower towels were reduce to size of face towels The walls of room where dirty. The TV keept having issues with the signal The second day of the stay one pillow was less afteer the room The night we arrived the servie team was very short and unfrendly. I will not recommend this hotel
It was, as usual, a great experience with Motel One - Olympia Gate. What I really do appreciate is the flexibility of the hotel. We were travelling as a family, a group of five and had some spontaneous adjustments to make regarding # of rooms and their assignments - no problem for the front desk. They were very eager to help us. Having a quick bite at the bar from your favorite local burger place and asking the staff for some cutlery? No Problem for the team. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great (however, not continental!), the location - so close to the Olympia Park - is also nice. I have been here before and am looking forward to come back! Thanks for the nice stay!

Air conditioning wasn't very effective and summer bedding would have been better, eg sheet and throw rather than quilt. Second time we have stayed at this hotel -no paper cups provided when room is cleaned.

Breakfast was totally chaos due to much more guests than possible seats. That was the main source of our dissapointment. if you have a meeting room it should be opened for breakfast guests.When i asked for my pre ordered gluten free bread, the waiter sayed "it should be pre ordered one day before", i replied with yes, it was ordered months ago, then it as not any problem. Strange behaviour. I will also visit your hotel in Berlin in beginning of august, hope to find it better.
Good clean hotel but a little out of the way.
Very friendly check-in and great room, overlooking the Olympic Park. The hotel is well connected to the centre of Munich through public transport
Staff is very friendly and helpful, Room was very nice and very clean in general. Would recommend this hotel for anyone planning on staying in the area!
Great hotel close to Olympiapark. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room, good gin bar. The only thing I strongly recommend to the management to change: paper cup instead of a glass in the room/bathroom. This is nonsense and also far from eco friendly option. Please change this to real glas.

Location was good. Room was fine. Service was totally unacceptable. A total of one member of staff at the bar and reception on Friday 14th June. At least 25 people waiting for a member of staff. Eventually one turned up served a few people and had to leave again. After waiting 30 mins we just went to our room thirsty and unhappy. We, along with other family members have another booking next month and seriously considering cancelling. From here we went to Stuttgart where the service was 10/10. This hotel needs more and better staff.
You can now see signs of wear and tear, such as scratch marks on the walls and stains on the floor. I was also surprised to find that a double room is apparently the same size as one for a single traveller. When checking in, two of the three receptionists were occupied with other tasks, while more than five people waited to be checked in. I would expect to finish the tasks later and not to keep people waiting.

Nice stay as always
Firstly, woke up on the first morning with bites all over my face. When reported this to the reception, their response was far from apologetic. The only solution offered was to clean the room and change the bedding, which was not very reassuring. The wifi was terrible throughout the stay, with constant buffering making it almost unusable. This was incredibly frustrating as good internet connectivity is essential. Additionally, found the breakfast to be very expensive for what you get. Not only was it overpriced, but there was also barely any room to sit and eat it. The only redeeming feature of this hotel was its location. It was conveniently close to the Olympic Stadium, which was great for attending the gig planned.
Always a good place to stay - only the varying shower temperature (in every room I‘ve stayed) is annoying.
Friendly staff, clean house, good breakfast! Room - compact, utilitarian. What was missing was a small fridge &/or kettle, etc. Also, there was little in the way of any real cupboard or drawer space.
I was able to open my windows (a great bonus, air condition normally keeps me up all night due to the noise) and was sleeping with open windows all night (had a view to the back garden, very peaceful). Best sleep I had in a hotel for a very long time.
Hotel is on great possition , in a quiet environment with a great lobby too. Very friendly staff make staying with pleasure
Great staff got me a room even though my intended one was not ready yet. When I lost my key, I got an extra one no problem.
Reasonable price for a basic clean room, a friendly and competent service staff at an excellent location. Disappointed that there was no full-service restaurant on site, although there were plenty of places to eat close by.
I have stayed at Motel Ones often, this was the first time my room didn't seem totally clean, especially the bathroom/sink area.
The room contained basic facilities and was warm and comfortable. Our welcome on arrival was excellent. However, we (there were 2 of us) were provided with 1 bottle of water for a 4-day stay and attempts to obtain a second bottle proved unsuccessful. Staff were adamant that the rules had to be followed and it was 1 bottle of water only per stay. We chose not to have our room serviced and the refusal to provide a second bottle of water was not appreciated and spoiled our otherwise excellent stay.
Very clean room. Reception was quick and staff was friendly. Convenient to transportation. Would stay there again and recommend. It is a basic room, so someone shouldn’t expect a four star hotel.
I can confirm, that staff at this hotel, as a team, have worked very hard to make me feel at home and to help me in somewhat difficult circumstances. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable. Next time I am in Munich, I will definiterly stay at Motel One again! Thank you all.

Very good ! Staff was helpful and friendly. To have a kettle in the room for coffee or tea would have been even better and a 10/10!
we stayed for two nights and visited a concert in the Olympiahalle, which is a 20 Minute walk from the Hotel. Rooms where very clean and staff was very friendly. Only the wifi was a bit unreliable
I wish the bedroom was slightly bigger so that I could roll out my yoga mat properly. I often soak the floor of the bathroom when I have a shower so I have to be careful. I wish I would have access to the wifi without having to sign up for it every day.

Fin og upåklagelig service. Der var mennesker til stede, når vi havde brug for dem. Meget venlig betjening og fantastisk morgenmad. En helt igennem skøn oplevelse.
