Nice hotel, nice staff. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable (not the Motel One Standard) and housekeeping was very loud when cleaning the room next to mine.

Great hotel, much nicer than the 3 * rating would suggest! Really good, convenient location; lovely lobby/reception decor, felt luxurious. Room was very nice - loved the pillow selection & bedding, nice bathroom products & towels, great shower. Overall perfect for a Barcelona stay.
Good service as usual in Motel One Hotels. Specifically I liked free charging of EVC and low parking rates! Keep it up!!!

Had a great stay, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Loved the breakfast and clean room. The location is perfect, close to bus stops, not too far from the beach and centre.
As always the same great experience with MotelOne: professional staff, beautiful hotel, central location, great room. And the rooftop bar has stunning views.

Modern and beautiful lobby. Clean room and bathroom. Strong Wi-Fi. No coffee in room 😩 Luggage storage. Relaxing rooftop bar area to sit. But it closed at 10:30!
Lovely hotel. The aircon was a life saver! Room is a decent size and the bed is so comfy. The only thing missing was a mini fridge.
Both bars were really good but limited beer choice. Communal space great. Location great. Really think that rooms should have a fridge and a bit more storage space for clothes
Stunning hotel in great location. Great areas to chill and relax after a day sightsee good resteraunt outside . Staff in clean hotel amazing the bar manager lady served me Jamesond and ice with a smile most nights and made us feel welcome Def recommend bus stop outside and metro stop around corner
Loved the hotel and its ambience. Its staff were very amiable and welcoming and the location was perfect. Started taking in the beauty of the city right from the moment we arrived and dropped our luggage. It’s very centrally located. Had a relaxing evening on the rooftop terrace and enjoyed the view from there
The front desk person was very kind and managed to find me a room, with a view of the park for early check in. Much appreciated. The following morning I was downstairs fairly early for breakfast and suddenly a large cockroach crossed my path and disappeared under the table where the cereal is. I told the lady who confirms your room number. She came back to me telling the 'it will be killed". Understanding that this hotel is older than the other two that I have stayed in, these things happen. However, she was particularly casual about it and I wonder whether the hotel has a regular exterminator to make sure that this does not happen. I will not stay at his hotel again.
From Barcelona I drove to Innsbruck and omg Barcelona's team at Motel One is sooo much nicer than in Innsbruck, really two different worlds, kudos for Barcelona team, it was relaxed, nice and easy, here in Innsbruck it's so uptight, so uptight xD cheers Barça, I miss you :*
One of the best hotel i have ever stay. I loved everything especially staff. I forgot my samsung airbuds in the bar lobby and left for london, i emailed them and they instantly responded me that they will send it back to me. Very lovely staff and good atmosphere
Motel One is a real gem, very artistic lobby, the rooms are very nicely decorated, small, but perfect for a short break. The staff are very friendly. A luggage storage is offered before check-in and after check-out free of charge for the whole day. And the location is perfect for tourists, in a central area, in the middle between Sagrada Familia, Plaça Catalunya, Casa Batllo and the beach (the nearest beach is about 15 min. walk). Price/quality this hotel is number 1 in Barcelona
Exactly as advertised. Great location opposite the park and great for going into the busier areas. The hotel accommodated my Gluten Free mum and made it really easy to do so. We will return! Thanks :)
Fantastic stay from the very beginning! The receptionist welcomed us warmly and gave us a beautiful, spacious room. The housekeeping team kept everything spotless, and the daily cleaning was much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with excellent-quality products, and the elegant, romantic bar was the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink. We will definitely be back!
good location- glad we had a room with a terrace- rooms ridiculously cramped and small- no where to unpack suitcases had to use table and armchair

Breakfast is amazing. Mika and Vanessa were wonderful and always pleasant, smiling and nice.
Fabulous stay; helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. We appreciated the roof garden to relax in after a busy day sightseeing as it had a cooling breeze! The bar staff were especially great.
Fantastic location, easy access to tourist areas. Staff were informative and welcoming. Room was nicely decorated, modern and clean. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Rooftop bar is a lovely touch, with amazing views over the park and towards the sea.
Except that the room is on the tiny side which can only be strolled around by one person, we have no other complaints. It’s convenient and we had a good time.
I love staying here! It’s a fantastic location, comfortable and clean rooms, the bar and rooftop are lovely spaces to relax in and the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. It’s also very reasonably priced - will definitely stay again :) My only note for improvement would be the WiFi - it’s not the best especially when in the rooms. It drops in and out and can be very slow. The tv also isn’t the best. A lot of the offered channels don’t work - it would be great if there was an option to log into Netflix and/or other streaming services!

Helpful staff, great breakfast and quiet! The bed could be better and a glass rather than a paper cup for water would be better.
Loved the excellent location near Parc de la Ciutadella and Arc de Triomf. It was clean and had comfortable beds. A small point for improvement would be the pillows. One was too high and the other was too firm. The check-in experience could also have been warmer. The receptionist took a phone call and spoke with a colleague while checking us in, and he seemed a little flustered. It wasn't a major issue, but it didn't feel like the warmest welcome. One small thing that would have made the stay even better is having a mini fridge in the room. It would have been great to keep drinking water cold, especially as the bottled water became quite warm. The man who greeted us at breakfast and took our roomnumber was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
I had a lot of problem with invoice, reservatiin cemter and receptima didnt get what I want I just eanted two separated invoices. We had only one shampoo for body and hair.. for this money we needed to have it separatly. They told us not not to put towel in fens, but a lot of room did it. Room very small wirhout wardrobe. I really thank prople from Bar they vere very good and quick in their services. Specially thanks to Mila, very nice person.

I come here regularly, and it always feels like home. The service is impeccable, the staff are genuinely welcoming, and the venue is perfect for both business and leisure. A place you can always rely on.

I stay here every year on behalf of Tomorrowland, and although I already know what to expect, this year's experience exceeded all expectations. The reception team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. It was also incredibly convenient that our materials could be stored in the luggage room, as we often need extra time to sort through boxes and equipment. This made our work much easier. The daily housekeeping was outstanding. The room was always impeccably cleaned, and the housekeeping staff were very kind and considerate, adapting their schedule to clean the room while I was out. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the entire team for making it such a pleasant experience. I sincerely hope to be back again next year! I will share my experience internally with the team.

Hotel was good overall, but soundproofing in room was terrible and everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms could be heard. Would have also bee nice to have some additional light meals available beyond toasties.
Beautiful hotel. The lounge is so well designed and you have everything you need. Very modern, clean and well-equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Staff was friendly and nice . I feel it’s too basic and the charges thus are too high for that.
We enjoyed our stay overall and the location was very good. We were however a bit disappointed that because we had to complete the full check-in process online prior to arrival, when we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist didnt bother to chat to us at all and just gave us the room key. We were travelling for a birthday and in previous hotels including Motel One we usually get a voucher or at least some local recommendations. It would have been nice if staff had shown any interest in engaging with us as guests.

Virkelig lækkert udvalg til morgenmaden! God beliggenhed i forhold til at komme til fods rundt i Barcelona. Selvfølgelig kunne det godt ligge mere centralt, så de ting der lå vest for Rambla var tættere på - men vi havde friske ben :) Og så må jeg bare sige, at personalet - alle vi havde kontakt med - var super søde og smilende og hjælpsomme og rare. Vi var der under strømafbrydelsen, og det blev også håndteret til topkarakter. Og der var i hvert fald ikke meget negativt at komme efter, men hvis vi alligevel tænker lidt over det, så: Udsugningen i baderummet kunne godt være mere effektiv, det havde været lækkert at kunne caste til rummets tv, og så lugtede der en smule af, ja, våd sten, på værelset når vi kom hjem. Men altså, vi nævnte det ikke for personalet, så værre var det ikke, og havde vi sagt det, så er jeg ret sikker på at de havde gjort noget ved det.
Jeg er tilfreds , har ikke noget at klage over😊.
Det eneste minus er at dørene til værelserne smækker så hårdt i at man kan høre det meget tydeligt inde på værelset når andre gæster lukker / smækker deres dør i. Det er meget højlydt og meget irriterende. Det bør der kigges på. Jeg ved fra andre hoteller at det er muligt at få døre til at lukke helt stille og roligt af sig selv.

Rent og pænt hotel. Meget serviceminded personale. Vi ved, hvad vi skal forvente, da konceptet er ens overalt. Vi havde mistet en iPhone i Barcelona, som blev fundet og indleveret i receptionen på hotellet efter, at vi var taget hjem. Vi fik fantastisk service hos hotellets personale, som jeg talte og mailede med flere gange. De pakkede telefonen, så vi kunne få den afhentet af DHL. Vi har været adskillige gange på Motel One i Barcelona, Hamburg og Berlin, og det er bestemt ikke sidste gang, vi kommer.

Prisvenlige designhoteller i Barcelona – dit Motel One
Barcelona er ikke kun Spaniens anden største by og hovedstaden i Catalonien, men imponerer i den grad også på den arkitektoniske, kulinariske og kulturelle front. Byens mest kendte bygningsværk er kirken Sagrada Família, der ligger lidt uden for centrum. Den romersk-katolske basilika er tegnet af den verdensberømte arkitekt Antoni Gaudí og blev påbegyndt i 1882. Byggeprocessen må siges at være trukket noget i langdrag, for kirken er stadig under opførelse, og datoen for dens endelige færdiggørelse er fortsat ukendt. Bygningen er et af de mest fascinerende eksempler på modernistisk catalansk arkitektur.
Sagrada Família er Barcelonas vigtigste vartegn og er synlig fra hele byen med sine høje, kegleformede tårne. Kirken er dog langt fra Gaudís eneste mesterværk. Arkitekten har nemlig præget Barcelonas bybillede som ingen anden. Andre kendte værker fra hans hånd tæller Parc Güell og Casa Milà. Den store bypark Parc Güell med det farvestrålende dragespringvand og de snoede serpentinerbænke indbyder til afslapning i fantasifulde rammer, mens Gaudí med Casa Milà har formået at tegne en spektakulær bygning helt uden rette linjer.
Barcelonas gamle bydel ligger ikke langt fra hotellet og begejstrer med sine krogede gader, gamle huse i spansk byggestil og tapasbarer på snart sagt hvert et gadehjørne. Især i bydelene Raval, Ciutat Vella og Gràcia samt Barrio Gotico er det en fornøjelse blot at følge menneskestrømmen og drysse rundt på må og få.
Barcelonas bankende hjerte udgøres dog uden tvivl af den mere end 1,2 km lange promenade Las Ramblas. Promenaden forbinder havnen med den centrale Plaça de Catalunya og er kendt for sine utallige caféer, restauranter, gadekunstnere og forretninger. Her finder du også det berømte marked Mercat de la Boqueria, hvis salgsstande bugner af frisk frugt, grønt, kød, fisk og søde sager af højeste kvalitet. Følger du Ramblaen, kommer du til sidst til havet og Barcelonas dejlige bystrande: Barceloneta, Icària, Mar Bella og Sitges. Strandene ligger til dels lidt uden for centrum, men med offentlig transport fra hotellet er du hurtigt fremme alligevel.
