I made a mistake (entered wrong dates) when booking my reservation. When I showed up, I immediately told front desk, oh, I booked one extra day. I am sorry, can we fix that. The answer was no, so the hotel charged me for a night I did not even use, even after I advised them immediately of my mistake. Poor business practice. Rooms are tiny shoeboxes.
Fantastic stay, in a great location. Walkable to everything - I didn't get a metro once. Really recommend as a solo female traveller. I felt safe in the area, even when walking back at night. The room was lovely and clean and very comfy bed. Will stay again!
we have been several times in motel one - that's why we are coming back- 2 suggestions > inm one in barcellona in the room is missins a coffe machine and in our room ( 430 ) the mirrow ( aliseo ) in the bath room is fixed to the wall in an impossible hight ( extremely low ) for the guests. best from udine italy - sandro & helga

Your staff are excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, as at other Motel One hotels. But the rooms are comparatively small. And why do you start breakfast as late as 0700 when people need to get away or start the day early? I was rescued by one of your staff who kindly fetched me a 'doggy bag' at 0630. But he should not have had to.

The room was adequate for what we required. For us it was a place to stay while on a city break. Therefore it did the job. One criticism would be of the pillows on the bed, they were quite uncomfortable and gave both me and my partner neck ache. The bar was reasonably priced and service was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location was very good, staff polite and helpful, hotel lobby was very nicely furnished. However, although room was looking nice as well and bed was comfortable, the noise which you can hear through the main door and walls was disturbing. Especially during the night when other guests were entering their rooms between 2-5AM. You can hear everything and sound insulation is very bad. Also, water was leaking on the floor in the bathroom from the main sink, which we have reported to the staff. Issue was fixed next day, but from how it looks, it seems it will happen again.

The staff were fabulous in every way. The breakfast was fantastic. We were placed in an accessible room I guess because you full. I would have liked having a mini fridge but we didn’t really miss it. Next time I am in Barcelona I will definitely book with you again. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Everything was good. It would be nice to have kettle in the room. Probably, it is the standards of the brand not to have .Overall it was fine.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, however the lack of food options provided was dissapointing.
Modern hotel with good location. Nice and beatiful room with nice view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside is that all the sounds from the hallway can be heard in the room. And vice versa. (Somebody walks past the room, you can hear their steps, if somebody talks even distantly, you can hear what they are saying)
Room was a little noisy, you could hear people walking in the corridor. But it was a great stay anyway.
No amenities in the room. Not even a kettle. It was extremely basic.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and organised, the amenities were excellent, the complementary luggage storage came in very handy. I would 100% recommend this hotel!
Perfect location, nice public spaces (better than Madrid) but the beds were so much better in Madrid. The Barcelona ones gave me so much backpain I had to go to the osteo twice since.
The hotel’s location is excellent, with everything we planned to do within a 30‑minute walk. Breakfast was very good, and the real highlight of the hotel was the 24/7 bar—beautiful, very comfortable, and a great place to unwind. One downside is that there is no bar service on the rooftop, so you need to go downstairs to get drinks. The rooms are also a bit on the small side. Aside from these minor points, everything else was great.
After a long journey with my 9-year-old daughter, we arrived at your hotel and were kept waiting unnecessarily long in the lobby. At first, we were told the room wasn’t ready, but that wasn’t true. Hospitality is the most important aspect of hotel service, and I believe that making children unhappy is the last thing a hotel would want.

Perfect location, good parking facilitie 100 meters. Hotel is clean and well mantained. Breakfest is easy.
Every met expectations, I just wish the room was warmer at night (I tried to raise the temp but nothing changed, cool air was coming out). Breakfast was ok, but the jamon could have been better. No beers at late night, not sure if it’s for a local regulation or just company policy.
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly, the room was simple but perfect and spacious enough. The bathroom was clean and the hair drier was amazing! The breakfast is totally worth the price and I will definitely return with my husband next time, but I will definitely book a room with a view.
Our first visit to Barcelona and tbia turned out ti be a grea choice. Fab hotel, clean, modern and friendly and in an ideal location for us. Only negative was the charging for drinks in the bar. We were charged for doubles the first night without being asked and only realised the second night when drinks were cheaper. When this was queried on night 3 (when we must have had doubles again) staff not interested. Wouldn't stop us stying again though.
Very helpful and knowledgeable reception staff. Good location. Great views from the roof terrace. A bit disappointed with the room terrace. Not obvious from the website that the view was the courtyard. I was expecting a view over the park. Not withstanding I would book the hotel again.
Stay very comfortable, and your staff is a delight. Kudos to the team. Only feedback is that the room was quite warm and the AC don’t seem to work, so had to sleep with window open and all the noise it implies. But anyways no worries.

Great place to stay; my observations should be taken in that context. Ground floor very dark! Fine for young eyes perhaps. Room a bit austere. No kettle etc. Bedside tables/shelves a bit small. No cooked breakfast, e.g. scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans etc. Really important this....NO membrillo!
your desk staff was the greatest couldn't book the park Guell on credit do to not having a phone but one of your staff put the tickets on his credit card and we payed him for tickets The Best Service I have ever had. THANKS !!!!
This hotel had many good points - location was great, interior was very modern, very clean, staff very friendly, rooftop area was a major plus and hair dryer was amazing. However, there are a few reasons we would choose not to stay at any motel one hotel in the future. Firstly, the room was far too small. We had one large suitcase and found it very difficult to manoeuvre around the room with it open and there was very little usable hanging space therefore had to keep the case open at all times. Secondly there was no kettle in the room and thirdly no fridge. In a hot country, particularly where you cant drink tap water i find this unacceptable. We considered buying a kettle but couldn’t store milk anywhere. Staff were helpful in providing hot water each morning but that shouldn't have to be the case. I appreciate i should have read up to check there was both a fridge & kettle in the room, as we would not have chosen to stay with at this hotel if i had known, but unfortunately i will not be staying at a motel one again unless these were to be added in.
Great spot. Great reception staff. Very clean. The rooms are a really squeeze for two so it is unfortunate that all rooms are same size. Two need room to at least open two suitcases to work well. The bar was over priced and not friendly. the morning coffee was terrible. The roof top area is not well designed laid out and the lighting is horrible. But we would definitely recommend staying with you since all the important things were great.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location - loved the decor. Excellent service - nothing was too much for the friendly staff. Extensive breakfast choice and overall good value for money. A few more coat hangers in the room would have been helpful!

Snad nejznámější stavbou ve městě je chrám Sagrada Família, který leží poněkud mimo bezprostřední centrum. Historické centrum Barcelony leží nedaleko našeho hotelu a je typické mnoha klikatými uličkami, starými domy ve španělském stylu a tapas bary na každém rohu. Zejména čtvrti Raval, Ciutat Vella, Gràcia a Barrio Gotico přímo vybízejí k procházkám a objevování.
Nesporným centrem dění v Barceloně je však více než 1,2 kilometrů dlouhá promenáda Las Ramblas. Ta spojuje přístav s centrálním náměstím Plaça de Catalunya a je známá především svými mnoha kavárnami, restauracemi, pouličními umělci a obchody.
