Good value for money, central location, bed v comfy, great shower, v clean, not huge room but big enough- compact. Nice inviting bar/relaxing area in the lobby.

I booked this hotel based on the reviews on Booking.com. although it's a fair value for money, to our surprise, there were bedbugs (yikes). I'd suggest the administration should pay greater attention to housekeeping and make free access to drinkable water possible.

Great location, helpful staff and clean and well equipped room. Bed was super comfy and although the room was small it was well equipped. I expected it to be noisy being the city centre but the room was quiet and we had a great nights sleep.

Over all very satisfied with the helpful staff, the corner room and location. Not so good experience with online check-in system. The system gave an error message after confirming successful payment and money drawn from my card. When we arrived at the hotel the payment was not registered at the hotel. However the receptionist followed up and the payment was registered the next day. But I didn't like the unrest about whether we would have a payment dispute or not.

We really like motel one. Room was slightly smaller here than at others we’ve stayed at. No USB charging points in the room, most other hotels have these. Not a deal breaker but would be a great bonus. Other than this the hotel is brilliant, clean, friendly staff, great location, modern, really reasonable check in and check out times, comfy beds, good shower. We will continue using motel one hotels in the future.
Staff on the desk were super friendly, room was very clean as was the bathroom/shower. Slept well the bed was comfortable, this is the 3rd time we have chosen this hotel, it's such good value .
Nice hotel, very central and in good condition. Room is a little small. Breakfast time not early enough, especially on marathon day and servicing team didn't provide enough toilet roll.
Stayed in room 716, there was facade lighting right outside the window and the curtain does not go all the way to the wall, so it was very bright the whole night, did not get a very good sleep. Air conditioning was not working as well.
The staff were excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended.

Functional, nothing special
A very stylish hotel, perfectly located for central Manchester and St Peter's Square. The bar area is very urbane and stylish with a good range of drinks on offer. The room is well appointed with a huge bed, nice shower and modern-spec. Excellent variety of lighting and basic tea and coffee facilities. Bed was huge and very comfortable, although the pillows were a little soft for our taste and left us with stiff necks. Staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a cut above other mid-priced hotel chains and considerably better than Travelodge level. Would recommend.

Motel One was the perfect hotel for the Manchester Marathon. Located in the city and right next to St Peter’s Square Tram station. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing. I will definitely be back.

Breakfast was lacking in variety and substance. Coffee was not very tasty and the fruit juice was overly sweet - I think it was made from syrup. There was no iron available for my room. I was given an iron, but no board as the boards that were left had no covers. The plug on the iron was also smashed, with one of the pins hanging off. The receptionist kindly changed it for me when I notified him The water pressure in the room was poor which made the stream from the shower very weak. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful
