I stayed at this hotel recently and had an incredibly disturbing experience. At 4 AM, the fire alarm went off, waking up everyone in the building. That was already bad enough, but what truly shocked me was the complete lack of organisation or adherence to basic safety procedures. There was no clear communication from the staff about what was happening. No one directed guests to exits or gave updates. People were left standing around, confused and concerned for their safety. There were no staff members visibly helping or guiding guests through the evacuation process, and no confirmation that it was a false alarm or a real emergency. For a hotel to be this unprepared for an emergency is unacceptable. I expected much better from a place that claims to care about its guests. If you value your safety and peace of mind while traveling, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
Excellent central location. Great bar, open late, good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Room was not equipped with hairdryer but one was made available upon request. Bed was very comfortable but pillows weren't great. Overall we were impressed. Will definitely recommend to others and will most likely stay here again. Thanks
Everyone needs a Pablo on their front desk, he is polite, friendly and takes an interest in you as a guest. The room was clean and one of the good things about it is, it has the option of actually opening the window which is rare in hotels now. Would quite like the option of having an iron in the room.
Had a lovely stay, the hotel was spotless, the people who work there were really polite, helpful and approachable.
A fantastic stay as always
Rooms are good, shower great. Love it that your trying to be more sustainable. Our first booking we were given a room with a smaller bed than booked. Your staff were very helpful and resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Our second visit was interrupted with a fire alarm at 4am. Not the hotels fault but more information would have been helpful.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was perfect for what I needed - short stop over before flying home. Very clean and comfortable. I left something in my room - when I called front desk were on to it and knew exactly what I was after. Would recommend this property.

Great hotel and location. I was only here for a day but it was a great sized room for one person, bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom were very clean. If I’m back in Manchester, I will stay here again. My only critique is that when I checked in, the person at the desk read out my room number and floor. I appreciate that it was just me in reception at the time but as I was travelling alone I would have preferred that information to be kept private, especially as it was near the bar and main doors. The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful so I think it was a mistake and I did not want to make a complaint but leave as feedback instead. I did not make use of the lounge and bar so I can’t comment on that. I have coeliac disease and wasn’t sure there would be options for food.
Great location. Hotel and room very clean and modern. Some USB outlets in the sockets would be helpful. Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast is a bit unexciting and whilst it was free as it was my first booking I wouldn't pay for it.

One night stay over for dinner out with friends in Manchester, this was the perfect solution. Central, comfortable room, comfortable bed, shower room, all very clean and visually well presented. Wander back to a good bar at the end of the evening for liqueur and coffee before retiring. Easy checkin and checkout. What's not to love.
A great experience staying at your hotel for the first time. Receptionist was warm and welcoming we were early to check input she explained the process and we were checked in within 10 minutes she was very helpful andfriendly. Room was a good size bed very comfy and great location as well. Will definitely book again if available for next visit

Great find, not sure how long motel one has been in Manchester but this is the first time we have stayed here. Hotel room was ready for us on arrival ( 11:30am) which very convenient and rare as other hotels can’t give you a room till after 3pm. Room was clean and comfortable , staff were all friendly especially the bar staff . Location of the hotel is brilliant, right in the heart of Manchester.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Loved the quiet room. The only issue was the air conditioning being turned off and room was too hot but this problem was resolved for the second night.

Had a very warm welcome when arrived. The room was good and the breakfast was lovely too. I would definitely stay with you again - now that I know where you are! I got lost on the way to your hotel, so if you provided directions via train station to where you are on St Peter's Square that would have been helpful, as several 'locals' gave me different directions! Apart from that, you have a lovely hotel and the staff are very nice.
Excellent stay in Manchester - St Peter's Square. The room was clean and modern. My room allocation was quiet and had a very comfortable sleep. The hotel breakfast was light and fresh, perfect start to the day. The reception and seating areas are well maintained and very relaxing a comfortable place to hang out, from the busy city centre. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I'm a frequent visitor to Manchester for friends and family, so always the first choice, whatever the occasion. I've said it before, but a home away from home. Thanks Motel One! Oh, and the 10% discount really helps!
Was a nice room. A few negatives were my shower gel was empty , and there was no bin, so had to ask for both. Resolved pretty quickly. Clean which is good.

Perfect location, truly amazing, pleasant and helpful reception and housekeeping staff. Everywhere was perfectly decorated, absolutely clean, and the room and bathroom were excellent. Fast elevators and equally fast Wi-Fi (much better than 90% of UK hotels).

The staff are friendly, the quality of the furnishings is great. The bed is super comfy and the shower amazing. All great quality at a great price. Really glad to see the move to recycled solid cups from the cardboard ones too - loads better! Thank you.

Overall the property was clean, immaculate location and the staff were as always amazing. Internet fast enough to stream with my Roku stick, which personally is a big part of making a hotel trip feel like "home". It's my favourite hotel in Manchester (that's within our work budget) for a reason- I wanted to quickly pop over to the Trafford Centre and when I googled it I realized I had ten minutes to catch a tram or it would take an hour and a half minimum - I made it since the tram station is 20 seconds out the front door. Breakfast lovely too. Two issues, one minor and nitpicky one genuinely a little annoying. First the nitpick - the televisions all are locked to use motion smoothing and it looks awful, I did say it was a nitpick haha. Turn it off it makes everything look like a soap opera. Then the bigger one: their ice machine was partially broken and they didn't have any buckets, so the bar staff woman (who was lovely) could only give me a pint glass. You guys don't have minifridges (it's much less common in the UK) and I often use the bucket with some milk so I can have coffee/tea first thing like I prefer. This seems like a nitpick but it really isn't, I think ice is an absolutely essencial feature for hotels and it's the only thing keeping you from a perfect score. Spend a little on your ice experience it will be used. Thanks

The location was excelent. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and we liked the bar area. Our two rooms were adjacent and available on arrival. Great value for money.
Fab location, friendly helpful staff. Clean room, comfy beds. Lovely powerful shower and fluffy towels. Arrived earlier than check-in but our room was ready so that was a bonus. Only suggested improvement would be maybe a few more options at breakfast

Better value for money elsewhere. Bathroom small and unable to shave in sink as no removable plug. Shower sprays onto the floor. Room very small with minimal cupboards/drawer space. Reception staff's english very poor. Made to feel like a foreigner in my own country. Bar staff very good. Communal toilets spotless.

Friendly and professional staff on Reception, at Breakfast and in the Bar. Had a little hiccup with housekeeping but again it was dealt with well. Will stay with you again next time I am in Manchester and recommend to friends and colleagues.

A good location in central for a hotel in central Manhester. The room was rather small but the bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
