Excellent friendly staff. Room immaculate.
For what I needed worked well. Stylish, clean hotel with very good staff, however the rooms (and bathrooms) are far too small for anything other than a one night stay. Also missing a trick with no gym/fitness area (same with all Motel/Cloud Ones)
Would’ve preferred if there were shampoo and conditioner in the rooms but other than that everything was great.
Booked through work but seemed a decent price. Room was basic but comfortable and had everything you needed. Reception were friendly. Was surprised that post-it notes were used for room numbers - even Premier Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses have basic cards with information and room numbers. Did not use bar but looked a nice area. Did not have breakfast at the hotel due to the limited options so preferred to eat elsewhere. Good location and seemed clean. Would stay at this one again.
Everything was lovely. But it is stressful and unnecessary that the TV starts automatically when you plug in the key card.
Room was spacious and tidy, check in and out was easy,
Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff and clean comfy rooms. Only small thing is that they don’t do twin rooms.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean..
Really disappointing stay. Room was ok but there was no hot water from either the shower or sink. We had a train to catch so didn’t have time to report the issue until we checked out. When we reported it to the reception our concerns were dismissed with no apology. We paid £265 for 1 and at the very least would have expected to be able to have a hot shower.
Another great stay at Motel One St. Peter's Square. Love this hotel, very comfy, great atmosphere and best location!
Top observations - Hotel cleanliness, decor, and great location. Most of the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Bar/restaurant staff were okay. Interestingly, the house keeping manager checked in on our room comfort which was a polite gesture. Standard rooms are quite small, suitable for a single person. Overall a very convenient place to stay.
nice hotel, friendly staff
Excellent, lifts failed once but was swiftly repaired
Great stay good room great staff!
In the main a great stay, but one thing does detract from a perfect score. As a fairly regular visitor, I notice the shower gel is rarely full on my arrival, and that it typically runs out before the end of my stay. Only minor, but worthwhile mentioning because I notice it. I have reported it on previous stays, and nothing has changed.
Checkin was efficient and quick. I was surprised that I hadn’t to complete an evacuation questionnaire as I am in a wheelchair. However I was surprised to have only one bottle of water for two people over three nights. Also, the disabled room I had was too small, I might have needed to go round the bed in my wheelchair.
Very friendly helpful and efficient staff warm and welcoming . Accommodated an early check in . Comfortable clean bedroom good facilities quiet good nights sleep . Tasty breakfast wide choice Thank you
Great hotel. Friendly staff with a lovely welcome. Room was just what we needed for an overnight stay. Very quiet for the middle of Manchester. Would definitely use this hotel again
Such a lovely hotel and so central. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
Fantastic service and facillities - I will be looking for other Motel One hotels in other cities now. Room was really clean and well organised. Toiletries were nice, towels were crispy and big enough. Check in and out was seamless. Bar area was stylish, spacious and inviting.
Always consistent. Staff friendly and rooms are clean and have everything needed. Location is great and breakfast is good.
First time staying here and everything was great. Very friendly welcome from reception and breakfast was fab. Lovely clean room with everything you needed.
Good welcome from your cheery reception staff who were willing to let us check in early. Room on 7th floor was comfortable with good king size bed and adequate hanging space. Decent shower in good sized well organise en suite.very quiet room. Buffet breakfast in comfortable lounge with cereals, fresh fruit, seeds, nuts, choice of breads. Hot and cold drinks. Staff worked efficiently and quietly to keep stocks available etc.
Everything was perfect. Lovely room, super central & brilliant, friendly and attentive reception staff
It was very clean, wonderful breakfast, very efficient staff, I couldn’t find fault with it
Excellent stay, really helpful reception team, they allowed us to book bags in ahead of check in (we were early into Manchester) and then accommodated an early check in as well ie as soon as the room was available. this allowed us to get rid of baggage and enjoy an afternoon and evening in Manchester. Facilities are also excellent including the bar area, rooms large and well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. the hotel is also conveniently located for city centre Manchester. First class hotel :-)
I would prefer an area suitable for eating breakfast rather than sitting in a low chair more suitable for a lounge/bar area. The area where the breakfast amenities were served was 'open' for people to learn over very unhygienic! People were also queueing at different areas e.g. tea, coffee which caused a 'bottle neck' in the area where the food was been served.
Overall, the hotel isn’t bad. The location is perfect, and the bar is excellent. The room was fine in general, but it was disappointing that it didn’t match the pictures shown when booking. The photo online shows a corner room with a wider window and better view, while the one I got had a much smaller window. Also, the room looks much larger in the photos than it actually is. The pillows were quite uncomfortable — one was too hard, the other too soft — so there was no middle ground, and I didn’t sleep completely well. However, the most disappointing part was the breakfast. It was very expensive for what it was: just bread, cereals, ham, and cheese. What bothered me the most were the hard-boiled eggs, which weren’t even peeled — you had to do it yourself, which is inconvenient and time-consuming, especially when breakfast should be quick and easy. It honestly felt like a joke. At the very least, they should offer scrambled eggs, and the menu really needs more protein options. I was expecting at least some sausages or bacon. All in all, I would stay here again because of the great location and nice bar, but I’d definitely have breakfast somewhere else next time.
Clean quiet room (335). Lovely staff. Bed was so comfy, breakfast perfect
Very nice hotel in the middle of town. Lovely breakfast. Rooms clean and new. Bed comfy. Two of the 3 lifts didn't work but didn't impact us. All in all good place to stay.
Good value. Excellent central location.
Room was pleasant with a comfy bed and nice shower ...as with all Manchester prices are expensive for hotel rooms and was pricey here with breakfast not included
Quick check in and out. Nice bar area and room was exactly what we needed. Bathroom was quite small with no shampoo or conditioner but overall satisfactory. Great location and good service throughout.
Have stayed at this hotel a number of times; great area, accessible from airport easily, spotless clean, but the team are incredible. They make your stay welcoming, easy and are so lovely. Pleasant team from the welcoming team Demba, Maria and Thada (forgive spelling if incorrect) to the cleaning team Alina who was very helpful also.
Hotel rooms were spotless and well presented, although they weren’t the roomiest, for the price we paid it was great value for money. The hotel staff from checkin to the bar were friendly, attentive and offered great service. Centrally located which was ideal as we had a concert to attend at the Albert Hall. I would highly recommend and definitely go back. The midday late checkout was fab a also!
Great stay once again. Excellent central location with comfortable, well equipped clean rooms.
Lovely, clean hotel in great location - the staff person who checked us in, Maria, was exceptionally kind and welcoming!
Good quality room and very nice reception and bar, food was easy to access and good quality, one suggestion would be to have some fruit juice available for the breakfast.
Wouldn't be my first choice, best thing is the location. Disappointed no water in the room - had to buy a bottle at the bar £2.50! No biscuits either in the room. Small things make as big difference.
all good but disappointed that there is no iron in the room making it unsuitable for business trips
Prompt check in and super clean bedroom
Perfect stay, great welcome and easy check-in, great value for money, great breakfast. Great location, great room,
The room was a little smaller than I expected but comfortable. Fresh juice at breakfast would be much nicer than concentrate.
Very pleasant stay Staff very friendly Central location Airport tram stop right outside hotel Would definitely stay again
Great room and lovely staff at reception.
Generally very goodt but a few negatives that really damage the experience. No water in the rooms, not even bottled filtered tap water, no glasses and paper coffee/tea cups or “reusable” plastic take away cups that smell of vanilla and taint water or tea. Impossible to get a proper breakfast table so eat cereal off low coffee tables. All our party reported difficulty with wi-if and in room phone connectivity. Would happily pay a few more pounds more for such basics one gets everywhere else. Shame as everything else really good.
This hotel is brilliant. It's a reasonably priced hotel for a such a good location. The staff are genuinely lovely and welcoming and to top it all, we got in our room early which to me, is a real bonus. The bar area is amazing and really relaxing. Prices at the bar are very reasonable and despite the fact there isn't a restaurant at this hotel, there are many eateries on the doorstep. So no major problem..
Lovely room nice location only 10 mins away from where i was going
Air con did not work in the bedroom. Totally inadequate ventilation and lack of oxygen I the room. A very uncomfortable stay. It felt very claustrophobic with lack of air flow.
Dobry hotel, przyjazny

MANCHESTER – ŁATWO POKOCHAĆ
Sofy Chesterfield, imponujące regały z książkami i wzory w kratę to elementy brytyjskiej przytulności w naszym kolejnym, trzecim hotelu w Manchesterze, Motel One Manchester-St. Peter’s Square. Przed wyjściem na zwiedzanie miasta zapraszamy oczywiście na filiżankę herbaty. Motel One Manchester-St.
