Der check in war etwas holprig, uns wurde erst nur ein Zimmer zugeteilt, obwohl zwei Einzelzimmer gebucht und bereits im Vorfeld bezahlt wurden, das Wasser das man als beOne Member bekommt gab es erst auf eigene Nachfrage, haben tolle Zimmer zugeteilt bekommen, die spontane Entscheidung für das Frühstück war ebenfalls etwas holprig bezüglich der Bezahlung. Check out am Sonntag war absolut nett und sympathisch und das obwohl es erst 5:20 Uhr war
Frühstück war wenig abwechslungsreich. Kein Bacon, eggs, sausages, Müsli. Sonst war alles okay.
Die Zimmer und das Frühstück waren gut, wie erwartet. Service und Freundlichkeit des Personals ebenfalls gut. Kleine Anmerkung: meine Tochter hatte zwei Einzelzimmer für sich und mich gebucht. Beim Einchecken hat es leider etwas gedauert, das zu erklären und für zwei Zimmer die Key Cards zu bekommen. Die Anmerkung der Empfangsdame, dass die Bestätigungs-Mail in Deutsch ist, fand ich unpassend in Zeiten von Übersetzungs-Apps. Die Zahl Zwei ist eigentlich auch zu erkennen.
Ich mag Motel One und bekomme das, was ich erwarte. Einziges Manko in Glasgow: Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert.
super herzlicher, professioneller Empfang - bestes Team Rezeption ever ... Frühstück war auch wunderbar und habe es gefeiert, dass es Laugenbrötchen gab :-)
Tolle Lage. Zahnputzbecher werden sich mittlerweile gespart. Safebatterie war in beiden Zimmern leer und konnte erst am nächsten Tag getauscht werden. Für BeOne-Mitglieder sollte es eine Bestpreis-Garantie geben, da Zimmerpreis seit Erstbuchung stark variierte.
Das Hotel und das gesamte Team waren toll und stets freundlich. Auch wenn es draußen vor der Tür etwas rauer vor sich ging, fühlte man sich nach betreten des Hotels sofort sicher. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!
Gutes Hotel. Leider gibt es keine Twin-Rooms. Sonntags hat es sogar gute Preise.
Alles da, was man für einen Städtetag braucht. Lage prima, freundliche und zuvorkommend Mitarbeitere, Zimmer modern und ansorechend und mit allem was man braucht. Nette Bar.
Ich war rundum von der Buchung bis zum Abschluss meines Aufenthalts sehr zufrieden. Ich mag sehr die schlichte, umweltfreundliche, aber sauber Art des Hotel. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Personal, mit dem ich Kontakt hatte, war rundum sehr freundlich und unterstützend. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Ich werde weiterhin Motel One buchen.

Location, breakfast, view, friendly staff.
Mein Aufenthalt im Motel One Glasgow vom 09.04. bis 13.04.2026 hinterlässt leider einen gemischten Eindruck – mit deutlichen Schwächen, die nicht unerwähnt bleiben sollten. Besonders negativ fiel der Umgang mit dem Feueralarm-Test am Sonntag, den 12.04.2026, auf. Im Anschluss daran waren die drei Aufzüge für mehrere Stunden außer Betrieb – ohne erkennbare Erklärung für die Gäste. Wer, wie ich, ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen hatte (in meinem Fall im 9. Stock), war gezwungen, das Treppenhaus zu nutzen und insgesamt zehn Etagen (inkl. der mittleren Etage) zu Fuß zu bewältigen. Gerade für Gäste mit Gepäck stellte das eine erhebliche Belastung dar, was ich auch bei vielen anderen beobachten konnte. Eine bessere Organisation oder zumindest transparente Kommunikation seitens des Hotels wäre hier dringend erforderlich gewesen. Auch die Zimmerausstattung weist klare Defizite auf: Es steht lediglich ein einzelner Kofferhocker zur Verfügung, was für zwei Personen schlicht unzureichend ist. Weitere Ablageflächen oder Regale fehlen komplett, sodass es praktisch keinen sinnvollen Platz für zwei Koffer gibt. Die vorhandenen sechs Kleiderbügel (2 x 3) sind zudem nur eingeschränkt nutzbar – insbesondere größere Kleidungsstücke wie Jacken lassen sich aufgrund der begrenzten Maße kaum sinnvoll aufhängen. Insgesamt führt das dazu, dass man über mehrere Tage hinweg gezwungen ist, „aus dem Koffer zu leben“, was den Aufenthalt deutlich unkomfortabler macht. Zusätzlich ist der bereitgestellte Föhn ausschließlich im Zimmer nutzbar. Das bedeutet, dass man zwangsläufig den Mitreisenden stört, etwa wenn dieser noch schläft – eine wenig durchdachte Lösung, die den Komfort weiter einschränkt. Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck, dass an grundlegenden Komfortaspekten gespart wurde – sowohl organisatorisch als auch in der Zimmergestaltung. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mag das noch hinnehmbar sein, für mehrere Tage jedoch ist es schlicht unpraktisch.

Hotel, ridiculously hot. Slept with window open. Reception gave me a fan - Terrible sleep - Pillows poor quality and drainage issues in bathroom. All colleagues had the same experience. We have decided we won't be back or recommend.
Lovely hotel, rooms adequate for my stay as a single person on a work trip. Breakfast good for what i was looking for before going to a work course all day. Staff very pleasant,helpful and friendly. Lovely stay, will happily book again.
Lovely hotel, fab location
The room was fine for one night but it was absolutely roasting (12th floor). There were also no cups in my room to use for water or the tea tray (I didn't ask for any as I was only staying one night). Not having a bin the actual room was strange. The staff member at breakfast was VISIBLY stressed about the coffee machine, a lot of sighing and audible annoyance as he tried to fix it.
First impressions, the bar and lobby looked nice. Queued for a while to check in despite already checking in online. This could be improved. The room was the smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in. Wasn’t impressed, would have asked to move rooms if staying longer than one night. Bathroom was and shower were small but again nice.

Rooms where great but the amount of dust on the bedside tables top of headboard and side wardrobe was terrible didn't look as it had been cleaned. Partner had to use her inhaler quite a bit as dust was irritating to point i wiped all the room down.

The hotel in Glasgow is very clean, has a very aesthetically pleasing entrance area and bar, the decor in and out of rooms are lovely, staff are extremely friendly. My only issue was that it was a very warm day and evening, and although I turned the room thermostat to "off", the fan on the ceiling still blew hot air into the room. Couldn't sleep with the heat for both nights. Also, the gentleman serving in the bar with a bandana didn't have particularly diplomatic customer service. Asking what you would like whilst walking away, talking to customers about how this job is purely a "pay the bills" job and that he hopefully won't be there long, and having no knowledge of what is in cocktails when I asked about a few wasn't indicative of a great bar worker. Other than the one staffer and the broken thermostat, the stay was as brilliant as it has been before. Beds are very comfy, and I know I definitely would have slept soundly if the temperature was comfortable. Brilliant hotel.
the only reason i have given a 9 and not a 10 is the internet wasn't great. other than that the place was lovely, breakfast was good, staff excellent. there was an incident on the Thursday of my stay with the next room, i called the desk and they dealt with this immediately. The lady who came to deal with the incident also came back to check on me. then later that night escorted the police to my room to make a report, again the lady checked on me. I would happily stay again

The room was a bit hot I turned down the thermostat but it didn’t cool the room down had to open both windows to cool it. No biscuits on the tea tray which was a bit disappointing..
The hotel staff (front desk) were so warm and helpful. Extremely efficient and quick to answer any questions. We had a problem with a 3rd party booking and the knowledgable staff walked me through the solution and stayed with me until the problem was solved despite being extremely busy checking in other guests. This calm, helpful attitude will keep us returning again and again. Our room was incredible. Extremely comfortable beds and clean rooms. The lounge area in the lobby and bar area was fun but intimate. There was plenty of spaces to sit for drinks or open your laptop to complete some work. Thanks for making our stay so memorable.
Everything from checking in, to the room was great. Lovely buffet breakfast. This was my second time back the first was with a friend. I had a fair idea it would be great after my first experience so glad to say nothing has changed. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks

First time in the hotel, and I was delighted as it was excellent. The hotel was lovely outside and inside. The decor is beautiful and it was really clean in the communal areas and the rooms. The beds were really comfy and the room was spotless. The shower isnt very powerful but its adequate. I love a cooked breakfast, but only a continental one was available, but everything on it was really fresh and plenty of choice, I would definitely stay here again. I must also reference the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother. The conversation wasnt forced, they were genuinely chatty and interested in the guests, well done Motel One, a really great stay

Perfect stay, apart from the weather, but you can’t do much about that.
Due to a new booking system, it wasn't recorded accurately that I required an accessible bathroom due to a disability. So I had to call down and get them to change it, then come up and give me the key and take me to my new room. Later, having a shower before bed, I realised too late that the shower chair which is usually screwed into the wall, was missing. There were just holes in the wall where it should have been. This was a disaster for me and meant completing the shower was very painful. Coming out of the bathroom I also noticed the red emergency pull cord by the side of the bed was tucked around and on top of the wardrobe. I couldn't reach it, so I knew this could be a huge problem if I required assistance. Even though it was the middle of the night, the woman on duty brought me a chair, and managed to untuck and then fully extend the red emergency pull cord for me, which gave me a lot of reassurance. She then showed me how to use it and reset it if I knock it by accident. I was very grateful she was able to come up so quickly.

Gutes Hotel im Zentrum Glasgows. Gute, zentrale Lage, saubere Zimmer, ruhig. Freundliches Personal und im Parkhaus nebenan kann man für 9 GBP pro Nacht parken, wenn man im Hotel übernachtet. Würde ich nochmal buchen.
Two of us stayed for one night. Paid for slightly bigger room. Very nice stay, nice room. Very central but still quiet.
