Very pleasant stay. Great city centre location. Chilled ambience in the bar / reception area. Room clean and functional.

Excellent value for money, 5 min walk from station, convenient for places to eat. Lovely room, spotless and welcome tea and coffee. Would have liked thicker duvet, but that is my only criticism.

Great hotel for money. Only downside was tv did not connect to any channels which meant it was unusable.
Hotel is in a great location, room had all we needed. We were able to check in early which was great as we were at a football match in the afternoon. Only ‘complaints’ were that the pillows were a bit too soft for me and that other guests were a bit noisy at 4am which woke us up.

Lovely hotel, smart, stylish, well appointed. great staff, sorted a small problem I had with my room straight away. Nice continental breakfast with a great range of options. Room lovely and quiet even though in the centre of town. Lovely comfy stay.

Very convenient location. Lovely reception, breakfast area and bar. Excellent breakfast; you had everything we were looking for. Friendly and helpful staff. Suited us nicely for an overnight stay. Not far from St James Park and the shops, and the station.

Super Lage, das Frühstück war eher überschaubar.
An der Toilettenschüssel waren braune Ränder, ebenso Haare im Bad. Wir haben angegeben unser Zimmer solle bitte gereinigt werden, dies ist an keinem Tag passiert. Auch dem Wunsch nach einer zweiten Decke konnte nicht nachgekommen werden. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg freundlich, die Lage des Hotels ist top!

Looks impressive, but it's simply well designed and colourfull to hide the basic. Rooms very spartan, no comfort, bed, water, TV, wardrobe. Not designed to impress. Breakfast expensive , no cooked breakfast choice given. Not recommended.

The property's location is excellent. Breakfast is really good and plenty of variety to suit all . Very comfortable reception and bar area. Bedrooms are nice, could do with some drawer storage, a safe is an important for all guests and upgrade to Bedroom carpet( worn out). All the staff members were friendly, courteous and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely like to stay if I get to visit Newcastle in the near future.
Love the location of this hotel, handy for the railway station and the Metro system at the monument. Reception staff were helpful, could be more smiley. Disappointed with my room. I asked for even a tiny bit of a view, but room 441 was definitely not with a view. It was grim.
Great location. Only complaint is that whole hotel was too warm. Couldnt get room cool enough for a comfortable sleep.

Couldn't be happier with my stay here over the Christmas holidays. Staff were kind and hotel is immaculate. I'll be coming back when I next visit.
•Room was tiny, room wasn’t very clean, breakfast wasn’t good and little fruit flies were crawling on the buffet food. •Staff were nice, bar area was nice, location was good. Booked as a Christmas treat for a parent and was very disappointed.
All reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location near monument on the metro is excellent. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and clients of mine.
This is beautiful, clean lodging located in a great and accessible part of town! I was there during a holiday week, so my experience may be skewed — I rarely saw staff at the front desk (I think there were few of them and they were stretched thin), and the breakfast left a bit to be desired (e.g., I hesitated to even consider taking a boiled egg because there were so few). The biggest thing I struggled with was hearing a bit of pounding between rooms and in the halls.
