I think you need to speak with your colleague Amber I would recommend your hotel, but only if your customer service improves and your team takes accountability against customer feedback (your reception staff let you down)
Fabulous especially for cost. Room ready before check in time so bonus. Friendly staff. Comfortable clean room. Location central. Cocktails amazing. Just couple little things that could be better. Lighting for doing make-up in room or bathroom. And no staff on bar at lunchtime for coffees and drinks. But would definitely stay again.
Clean, welcoming atmosphere and well looked after. Staff were all great. Hotel is in a brilliant location - few minutes walk from station and very central close to Monument Metro which gives easy access to the whole city.
Great location and very comfortable beds. Staff were friendly. Great shower. Only downsides were the noise of music from the neighbouring pubs/bars until early hours - we’ve stayed before and didn’t have any issues with noise last time (room 400 this time). The bathroom fan didn’t seem to work as the bathroom stayed steamy for hours and everything was wet with steam. A fridge and mugs instead of the plastic cups would have been ideal but understand the sustainability aspect of not having those.
Horrible night stay half sized pillows woke up with a sore neck mattress uncomfortable it was clean but the bed was terrible i left first thing in the morning

excellent for overnight stay. very friendly and efficient check in.Spotlessly clean and well resourced. Comfortable bed and bedding and small but well designed bathroom. would have benefitted from a bedside shelf and larger bath towels, although they were lovely and fluffy.

As ever, I had a relaxing and pleasant stay at Motel One. A real home from home.
My booking reference stated I had breakfast included. I showed it to the front desk and was told that it wasnt on their booking system so it wasnt included. They took no responsibility and just relied on "computer says no". I wont be using a Motel one again.

Lovely hotel, great location, very clean, breakfast was lovely and fresh produce but only continental, this wasn’t specified when booking, only reason I rated a 9 not 10.bar service after 11pm was very slow.

This was our 3rd stay. And unfortunately our worst. As we checked in the hall carpets wee been cleaned and the machine was louder than the TV so we had to get ready and head out instead of chilling. Did mention it to the reception staff but had no response Then early the next morning we were woken by staff outside the window talking loudly and the smell of cigarettes coming through the window. I got up and closed the window but could still hear the loud laughing and chatting. We were on floor 1 so sounded very loud . We understand cleaning and maintenance must be done but as the hotel seemed quiet we could of been out on a floor that wasn't having the carpets cleaned at that time!

Staff member checked us in and gave us a key to a room which already had a guest in it, when we went up to the room and opened it, we opened it to find a ma lying naked on his bed which was highly embarrassing for both of us. My partner then had a restless night in our correct room, and was unable to sleep due to the fear of someone coming into our room under similar circumstances. Totally ruined our weekend away
Smooth check in & out, rooms clean and comfortable for a couple of nights stay. Great location. Very easy to book and great price.
This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff and a great bar area to relax in. Our room was compact but perfectly adequate, especially given the fact that the bar is a good area for relaxing, irrespective of whether you’re travelling alone or accompanied. Good location for exploring Newcastle with everything in easy walking distance (and close to metro). Very good VfM. Rather noisy on Friday night but that was because of some particularly disruptive guests.
Great location in the centre of the city about 3 mins walk from Monument Metro station. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is continental, (although it was decent, I prefer a hot breakfast option too). Huge bed, although a bit soft me. TV guide didn't work so couldn't work out what was on. No room cleaning for the whole stay (4 nights) which was disappointing. However, when I mentioned it to reception, I was given a fresh towel and more milk.
Excellent stay, staff very welcoming and helpful.
Pretty good all round experience. Nice lobby and bar. The room was quite small but functional. No bedside table though. Air conditioning gave me a blocked nose.
Great customer service from start to finish. Room very clean and kept that way by housekeeping team. Breakfast very good with a wide choice of options. All staff very friendly and the location of the hotel is also very central.
Even with the window open and the aircon on the room was very stuffy

Nice hotel with an excellent location. We only booked a room with city view and the city view was very limited. There was only 1 small window, with the view also for a big part on the hotel. This was not worth the extra money.
I was put in a room at the back and was woken both nights by loud drunken shouting and then someone banging rhythmically in the early morning, then the next morning clanging. Room was very comfortable and clean. Bed lovely

Helpful reception staff, comfortable room, good breakfast. Stayed in room 406, with a squeaky noise coming from the floor of the room above.
Nice bar area. Room not the best for getting ready as a girl . Plugs nowhere near mirror for doing hair . Have to stand or sit on the floor to do makeup and the plastic cups for a coffee weren't the best.2nd stay now to give benefit of doubt . But sadly wouldn't stay again

I’ve stayed at Motel One in Newcastle twice now, and the standout feature continues to be its excellent central location. However, there are a few areas where my stays have been less comfortable. I’ve consistently found the rooms to be very warm, and despite trying to adjust the temperature, the heating never seems to respond. This has meant needing to leave the windows open at night. Given the busy, central setting of the hotel, outside noise can be quite disruptive, especially when trying to sleep. Additionally, the blanket and pillow materials don’t appear to be natural fibres, which unfortunately makes sleeping uncomfortable for me. As a female traveller, I would really appreciate having a plug socket and a bit of counter space near a mirror specifically for using a hairdryer—something many hotels overlook but makes a big difference in getting ready comfortably. Finally, adding hand lotion in the bathroom would be a thoughtful touch and bring the amenities more in line with guest expectations. Overall, Motel One Newcastle has an unbeatable location, but a few adjustments could greatly improve comfort and the overall guest experience.
The Only suggestion would be provding bottled water in the rooms
Having stayed here several times previously, I am pleasantly surprised about how consistently good the hotel and sfaff are.
Everything that you need for a short stay, great city centre location, bed comfy, tea & coffee in room, continental breakfast is great with an extensive choice including gluten free options. Nice bar in the hotel too! Definitely stay again.
Clean room, nice bar and reception area and lovely friendly staff. Great location to town and train station.
Seamless check in and check out, great staff and nice environment. The room was clean and well maintained but could do with basic amenities like drawers and iron/ ironing board.
There 2 missing items in your hotel. 1. There are no drawers to keep clothes in. 2. There is no iron and ironing board to uncrease shirts.
