The double rooms are too small for people traveling for work
we had a wonderfull stay, the room was clean, shower was nice, people are friendly and you use the correct rum to make a mojito ;) only things to make the stay better would be a small fridge and coffeemaker in the room and the selection at the breakfastbuffet could have been a bit larger (though everything that was there was good).
Great hotel, friendly staff, value for money. Top location accross the parc, good breakfast and comfortable rooms. Only reason I did mot give a ten out of ten is tje lack of coffee/tea facilities in the room.
As always, a relaxing stay with great accommodation and extremely helpful staff. That’s why we always return to Hotel/Motel/Cloud one.
Our 4 night stay in Barcelona at MotelOne was fantastic. My wife and I were exhausted when we arrived early. The reception service was outstanding and very welcoming. Our room was great, the breakfast buffet had a nice selection, and the evening drinks in the bar were on spot. We loved the decor throughout. Very clean with an incredibly welcoming atmosphere!

We always stay at motel one when in Barcelona particularly because of its location, rooftop and bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable for our needs. We always book a park facing room and request top floor and love opening the door and listening to the sounds of Barcelona. The staff are exceptional in their friendliness and helpfulness.
I found the hotel excellent on all levels, from placement to friendliness and cleanness all the way through. I will come back and the only thing I would change is that I would upgrade to better room (was my own choice). Very recommendable

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was perfect. Great location, nice room, lovely rooftop bar, and centrally located.

We were happy with everything from check in to check out. Parking was safe. Staff was friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Windows blocked out all sound. Didn’t hear other rooms. Food was great. Lounges comfortable. Great location with walking to everything we needed. Highly recommend.
Well designed, good location, clean, great rooftop view, helpful staff. Very good value, reasonably priced. Adding a small Nespresso machine in the room would be a good idea.
The whole experience were very good, except the Bar experience after dinner. We were 4 colleagues staying in the hotel, went to the Bar around 11:45pm, spending some funny time (up to 2:30am). The barman was not very nice over the few hours there. Service was not good, and barman attitude really bad
The rooms are extremely small and very noisy, making it difficult to get any rest. In the first room, there was no mobile reception or Wi-Fi, which makes the hotel unsuitable for a business stay. After changing rooms, the Wi-Fi issue was solved, but the new room was not clean and the mattress had visible coffee stains. Overall, a disappointing stay.
Excellent service by the reception , nice to be able to leave yr luggage in a storage when arriving early or late, wish they would offer free coffee.

I would not recommend this hotel. The front desk staff was rude and acted like answering basic questions was a huge inconvenience. We originally booked a courtyard view, but now I understand why there are no photos of it—it was literally a view of a blank wall and concrete floors. Terrible. When I asked about switching rooms, the woman at the desk was visibly annoyed, though she did eventually move us. Thank you for that, at least. Unfortunately, the new room wasn’t much better. There were bugs in the bathroom (no idea what kind, but gross), the AC didn’t work, and the room was unbelievably tiny for the price. On top of that, when I asked for advice about visiting Sagrada Familia, I was told it was a “waste of time.” Unbelievable. Overall, this was hands down the worst hotel I’ve stayed in for the value. Poor service, misleading room descriptions, and terrible amenities. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere.
Everything was great. Rooms are comfortable, roof terrace is amazing. Staff very very friendly. The only thing that I was missing was a fridge in the room to keep some drinks cold, and better food selection in the bar downstairs. Breakfast was tasty, but lacking hot options. Perfect location. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Motel One. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The whole hotel was spotless, the room was very clean and the designs/aesthetics were lovely also. Bathroom was lovely and also very clean. The rooftop terrace was so relaxing. We also enjoyed the ground floor terrace on our final day. My only negative for the terraces was that it did rain while we were there so most of the chairs were too wet to sit on, even after the rain stopped - although I’m not sure how this could be helped. The facilities in the room were slightly lacking - the only 2 things that would improve the room would be a small fridge, and being able to use the TV - it was a smart TV but it would not allow to connect our own devices or play any of the apps. You can only use the freeview channels. We even bought a cable to connect our phone to the TV but the source button wouldn’t work to change it. Due to severe rain on one of the days, being able to access the TV would have been useful. But they were our only concerns with the room, and these aren’t major issues at all. The whole experience was fantastic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to go back!

Beautiful hotel, decorated elegantly and clean throughout! Staff were exceptionally lovely and couldn’t do enough for us as well as providing restaurant recommendation which all were amazing. An amazing selection of drinks in both bars! Thank you
Excellent stay. Great location. Very clean. Staff allowed us to check in early. Blackout curtains allowed us to sleep past sunrise. Front desk staff was helpful with information. Very modern hotel. We have no complaints about our stay. We recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.
This is a quiet, clean, sophisticated & well-located hotel in Barcelona Good value for the money!
Great location (lots of public transportation, wonderful parc across the street, many good food options and bars within walking distance), very nice staff, small but gorgeous rooftop bar with nice views of the city. Broad range of breakfast items including some spanish dishes (tortilla, jambon, queso, etc.). Would certainly stay there again. Can be a bit pricy (I was visiting for a conference).
Loved our stay here and would definitely re-book next time we come to Barcelona. Staff were friendly and very helpful, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and well designed. Loved the rooftop bar, the main bar, and the breakfast was great.

The hotel was stunning . The room was wonderful And the treat was the rooftop bar/seating area. The one suggestion I have is adding shelving or drawers into the room as there is hardly any space to store clothes.

Virkelig lækkert udvalg til morgenmaden! God beliggenhed i forhold til at komme til fods rundt i Barcelona. Selvfølgelig kunne det godt ligge mere centralt, så de ting der lå vest for Rambla var tættere på - men vi havde friske ben :) Og så må jeg bare sige, at personalet - alle vi havde kontakt med - var super søde og smilende og hjælpsomme og rare. Vi var der under strømafbrydelsen, og det blev også håndteret til topkarakter. Og der var i hvert fald ikke meget negativt at komme efter, men hvis vi alligevel tænker lidt over det, så: Udsugningen i baderummet kunne godt være mere effektiv, det havde været lækkert at kunne caste til rummets tv, og så lugtede der en smule af, ja, våd sten, på værelset når vi kom hjem. Men altså, vi nævnte det ikke for personalet, så værre var det ikke, og havde vi sagt det, så er jeg ret sikker på at de havde gjort noget ved det.
Jeg er tilfreds , har ikke noget at klage over😊.
Det eneste minus er at dørene til værelserne smækker så hårdt i at man kan høre det meget tydeligt inde på værelset når andre gæster lukker / smækker deres dør i. Det er meget højlydt og meget irriterende. Det bør der kigges på. Jeg ved fra andre hoteller at det er muligt at få døre til at lukke helt stille og roligt af sig selv.

Rent og pænt hotel. Meget serviceminded personale. Vi ved, hvad vi skal forvente, da konceptet er ens overalt. Vi havde mistet en iPhone i Barcelona, som blev fundet og indleveret i receptionen på hotellet efter, at vi var taget hjem. Vi fik fantastisk service hos hotellets personale, som jeg talte og mailede med flere gange. De pakkede telefonen, så vi kunne få den afhentet af DHL. Vi har været adskillige gange på Motel One i Barcelona, Hamburg og Berlin, og det er bestemt ikke sidste gang, vi kommer.
Blev mødt af de venligste front desk personale vi har oplevet på de rejser vi har foretaget. Atmosfæren på hotellet var afslappet og særligt tagterrassen var virkelig kærkommen og et super dejligt sted at nyde en kold tår at drikke og få slappet af.
Fint centralt hotel med venligt personale og en skøn tagterrasse. Værelserne er små, men pæne og rene. Udsigten til parken er helt fænomenal. Det trækker lidt ned at tagterrassen først åbner kl 11, hvilket føles som spild af en god mulighed om morgenen og at morgenmaden er temmelig dyr i forhold til det meget lille udvalg.
Top værelse med skøn terrasse. Morgenmad og baren fungerede perfekt under vort ophold. Alle var super venlige. Manglede cromcast eller lignende setup på tv'et
Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, God morgenmad Super rent Location var ok, men alt for mange hjemløse i telte i parken - gav utryghed når man rejser med et lille barn.

På vores Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella kombinerer vi typisk spansk byggestil med regionalt producerede designmøbler og henter inspiration fra den omgivende flora og fauna. Faktisk er resultatet så enestående, at du hurtigt glemmer, at du egentlig kun er her for at overnatte. I receptionen med dens karakteristiske cementfliser, i de hyggelige lænestole fra den spanske designer Patricia Urquiola, på de smukke tæpper fra det lokale firma Nanimarquina: Overalt på hotellet inddrager vi den naturlige atmosfære fra den nærliggende park. Pendellamper fra designhuset Bocci leder tankerne hen på blomsterbuketter, mens gulve af spansk natursten giver indretningsdesignet et rustikt touch. Et stort udendørsområde med lounge indbyder til afslappende stunder under åben himmel.
På vores værelser går det naturnære design ligeledes igen: Boxsengenes hovedgærde er udsmykket af den unge illustrator Lara Costafreda, der har ladet sig inspirere af temaerne planter, natur og jungle. Selvom Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella altså absolut er værd at opholde sig på, må du selvsagt ikke helt glemme Barcelonas mange spændende attraktioner. Ikke langt fra hotellet finder du parken Ciutadella, der indbyder til afslappende gåture i det grønne. Andre vigtige seværdigheder tæller UNESCO-attraktionen Sagrada Familia, kirken La Catedral, den pulserende Rambla og den centrale plads Plaça de Catalunya. ¡Benvinguts a Barcelona!
