The both rooms were very clean and we really liked the staff. Professional and friendly. 😘 Also the parking was great and important for us
Staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom was spotless, the room is perhaps compact but quite functional. There is a safe in the room that is easy to operate. Overall though, a very high standard.
The hotel is located near the park, which is precious in any big city, a good fresh morning air. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast have products for everyone, and they are a good quality. Bonus, you can go to the beach walking. :)
Everything was excellent. Great location. Rooms were just what our family needed. Staff was great and made sure to let us have connected rooms. The Booking listing (where we booked) states that there's a parking garage(s) nearby, but doesn't seem to list that the hotel has own garage - this would have made our visit even more comfortable (but this is a minor issue).
The whole place was super clean and the facilities were really nice. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The rooftop has an incredible view and the room was nice. However, the picture of the bathroom we were provided when booking was much bigger than the one we actually got and the one we did get was quite small and cramped. The room itself also didn’t have many facilities (e.g. cupboard space, mini fridge, kettle etc).

Overall, it's a good hotel with a splendid lobby and terrace, friendly and professional staff, clean premises, good bedding and an ideal location. I gave it a 7 for two reasons (which I hope will be changed for the better!). The first is the functional room but it has nothing more: no fridge, no coffee maker or coffee, no bottle of water - not even one on arrival - no desk, only one trash can in the bathroom, no ventilation in the bathroom. For 183 euros a night, we expected a little more. The second reason is the breakfast which, although decent, does not change at all and becomes boring after a few days. It does not offer hot dishes and a little more than tomatoes and cucumbers would have been welcome, like a salad, for example. In conclusion, the quality of the ground floor gives way to a certain disappointment for the rest, we unfortunately have the impression that the hotel management is being stingy :(

I propose to you having a minibar or a fridge in the rooms. Especially, in the summer time.
There were silverfish in the toilet. The breakfast didn’t offer health options.
An excellent central hotel with very friendly staff.
We have stayed in Motel one several times, in winter around New Year and in summer, before and after our holiday in Mallorca. It’s perfect for a couple of nights stay, we enjoy the lobby and bar area, also the rooftop with amazing views. The only downside is that the rooms are rather small and there’s no wardrobe so it’s not convenient for longer stays. Everything else is lovely
Hotel has good vibes in and in a great location--walkable to many of the bordering neighborhoods. Really enjoyed the spacious lobby with lots of seating--never felt too crowded, and was maintained cool with AC in the summer. Also really enjoyed the park-facing room, the windows/doors are well insulated so you don't hear the street sounds. Room was on the smaller side but was clean and had great AC. One area for improvement is the shower of the bathroom, the shower floor is elevated so naturally the water gravitates down towards the floor--making the rest of the bathroom floor a puddle. Would recommend installing some sort of ledge or at least provide additional towels to mop up the water.

Great Stay with Room for Small Improvements Fantastic location, just a short walk from the metro station. Stylish interior as you’d expect from any Motel One. Breakfast offers a good selection overall, and the Americano from the machine was great. Staff were lovely – friendly and welcoming. A few small downsides: more non-sugar cereal options would be appreciated, and the strawberry yoghurt tasted more artificial than natural.
I loved the big garden, the nice spacious lobby. The location is very good.

Great value hotel, excellent facilities for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, location is very central to everywhere we wanted to explore and the roof terrace was lovely for a relaxing drink in the early evening with amazing views.
Everything was great, the bedroom, the breakfast, the staff and the situation of the hotel with metro and busses (H 116 directly to the beaches), not far from the old Barcelona through the parc! I recommend and will certainly try another one in another city!

Excellent location for us. Hotel reception is large and welcoming with a lovely bar area. The rooms are a little small but perfectly clean and acceptable.
Very kind stuff, my room was just perfect, could even see the sea a little bit. Very close to the city center and not too far from the beach either, hence perfectly located. Highly recommended!
The hotel looked exactly as it did on the website - stylish, modern and clean. However, when I booked, I specifically asked for separate beds for my 16 year old son and I. When we arrived at the hotel, I was told the beds can’t be separated. If I had been told that in advance, I wouldn’t have stayed there so it was very disappointing. I should have been contacted in advance. The rooms are tiny considering how expensive it is. There was no kettle in the room and only one bottle of water per stay (we were there three nights). The location is good, opposite the park and well connected to public transport. The breakfast was nice, but more allergy information would have been helpful. There was no food available at other times of day. WiFi was excellent throughout. Overall, a nice hotel but expensive considering the lack of facilities.
Overall, this hotel was amazing. The breakfast area, bar, rooftop, were all very nice. The staff members were also all very friendly and helpful. I would only recommend to have some more air conditioning in the rooms. I don’t think the thermostat does anything. During the heat wave, it got warm in there. It wasn’t too bad, but wasn’t enough and you couldn’t control it. I would recommend this hotel. Excellent location as well.

Motel One have a fantastis system with accomodation, staff, position in major cities etc. Our experience was exceptional from contemporary rooms, commited staff from front counter through to cleaning staff. Highly recommended We'll be back
Nice modern hotel. Friendly people. Rooftop bar was excellent. But maybe it's positie to keep it longer open. Now it closed at 22.00.
Reason for a score of 7 - Room size quite small. Price paid was satisfactory in relation to the area. No tea / coffee making facilities. Room issue initially with sink drain blocked and AC smelly. Moved rooms with ease the same night. No issues with the 2nd room. Roof terrace closed too early especially on the ‘shortest night’ evening of the 23rd June.

Wszystko było fajnie tylko była jedna niedogodność. Był zaplanowany wczesny wyjazd, więc miało być przygotowane śniadanie na wynos. Nie zostało to spełnione, ale na szczęście zwrócili koszty za śniadanie. Brakowało czajnika do zrobienia ciepłych napojów w pokoju
Hotel w nowoczesnym stylu. Czyste, ale nieduże pokoje, duże wygodne łóżko oraz fotel, bardzo dobrze zorganizowane oświetlenie do czytania. W łazience duży, wygodny prysznic. Na parterze świetny bar, czynny przez cały dzień oraz miejsca do pracy przy komputerze. Na recepcji bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. Śniadania na zimno, owoce, sery, wędliny, płatki itp. Lokalizacja znakomita, do większości atrakcji turystycznych oraz na plażę można dojść pieszo, a dla tych co nie lubią spacerować, przystanek autobusowy przy hotelu oraz stacja metra oddalona o około 450 m. W pokojach nie ma balkonów, jedynie balustrady przy oknach. Pokoje z widokiem, są od strony parku Ciutadella. Dostępny podziemny parking. Gorąco polecam hotel tym, którzy przyjeżdżają zwiedzać Barcelonę, jak również tym, którzy udają się tam w celach biznesowych.
Hotel nie spełnił moich oczekiwań. Pokój był bardzo mały, wykładzina niemiła w dotyku. Wchodząc do pokoju czuć było nieprzyjemny zapach, otwarcie okna pomagało tylko na chwilę. Pracownicy niezbyt mili i pomocni, pani w barze bardzo powolna, nie potrafiła zapanować nad zamówieniami, jedynie pan barman wykazywał jakiekolwiek zainteresowanie gościem, był miły i uśmiechnięty. Śniadanie przeciętne, panował bałagan, talerze były niedomyte, sztućce rzucone jakkolwiek. Hotel wydawał się brudny i stary. Jedyny plus to położenie, wokół pełno restauracji, stacja metra, autobusy i piękny park. Nie wrócę tam ponownie.
Bardzo miły i pomocny personel na recepcji i na śniadaniu. Pokój czysty z widokiem na park. Lokalizacja świetna, na przeciwko pięknego parku. Taras z widokiem na panoramę miasta. Blisko stacji metra. Idealne położenie. Serdecznie polecam.
