Top location, small but comfortable rooms, modern building, very nice bar and very centric; carpet might look fresher
The room was incredible with the balcony, however I would‘ve preferred a more powerful ac in the room as the days were pretty toasty. Otherwise nothing to complain about, breakfast was great and staff very friendly. The Hotel is in a great location right in the middle of Mannheim.
Clean, spaceous room, good air conditioning. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere at the lounge. Rooms could have some more amenities, like a kettle or a mini-fridge. I had a room facing the courtyard, so outside noise was no issue, but the building is quite poorly soundproofed. I could hear my neighbors quite loudly.
Stayed during the recent heart wave (June 2026) and was very please to have the air-con working so well!!! Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Only thing I don't like is the shower floor, it can be a little slippery if you're not careful. But really enjoyed the stay.
The room was very nice and very clean. Time that we stay there was very relaxed and comfortable. Wi fi worked great. I'l recomend Motel One Mannheim to my friends and family.

Nice stay. The only con was the bathroom smelling sewage. I guess it had not been used for a while. I ran some water in the shower to fill up the syphon and then it was better. I did not ask for support on that.

Not much can be expected with one night stay for business. The simple task of issuing the invoice correctly is therefore significant. Unfortunately despite alignments with front desk and manual insertion of company details again (it was used by colleagues in the past , being one of the largest IT consulting companies in Germany) the email invoice was still wrong and no reply to my email was given even after 24h.
The impossibility of checking in before 15.00, with no rooms ready was a little disturbing as I wanted to change my clothes prior to my early afternoon meeting. The room was perfect, clean and the bed quite confortable.
Room: footprints in the shower
The attendant at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, as was the desk attendant when I returned late at night and needed to get a fork for my takeaway that I brought back. The bed was much more comfortable than I expected for a room of this price.
good hotel and facilities. The service at the bar varies ass it looks there is no good planning. If its busy hardly any staff (matching occupancy rate of hotel with staff planning) if its quiet the service has improved compared to last year
Everything was very good. My only small complaint would be that when sleeping with the window open, there is a lot of noise from what I assume is outlets from ventilation or air on systems in the inner courtyard.

My stay at the hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location and overall atmosphere were very good. I would suggest having slightly larger rooms for more comfort. It would also be appreciated if halal food options could be provided during breakfast for Muslim guests. In addition, having some rooms equipped with a bidet shower would be very helpful. Thank you for the good hospitality.

Very nice location in the middle of Mannheim. Building nice, rooms nice, clean and comfortable. For a 10 rating the room would be nice to be just a little bit bigger.
It would be good if there would be at least a bootle of water in every room. An iron or a steamer would also be helpful for business trips.
Nice Design, very new, fantastic breakfast, location and lounge
My friend and I were happy with the app and the employees, but realized only at night when arriving that there was no second blanket on the bed, even though we booked for two people. When calling the front desk we were told that they were fully booked and had no more blankets left, only towels or pillows - meaning we had to cover up with our hoodies so we don’t bother eachother in the night. Still we woke up several times worried that we had pulled the blanket off each other. I have written an e-mail about it and will wait for a reply. During checkout, another employee was really apologetic and said she wished she could’ve helped us, and we had to sadly decline the breakfast voucher due to timing-issues.
Great Motel One right in the centre of Mannheim! Clean rooms, modern look and feel - bathroom a little tight but perfect for a few nights stay ☺️ Very quiet and well sound proofed rooms- couldn’t hear anything from outside once the window was closed.
I missed a glass to drink water in the hotel room. Also Conditioner was missing.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. However, the handling of the invoice was disappointing. At check-in, I provided my company address for the invoice. The invoice I received the next day contained an incorrect address. During check-out, I requested a corrected invoice and again provided my company address. I was assured that a new invoice would be sent in the course of the morning. When I had still not received it by late afternoon, I contacted the hotel by email. The updated invoice finally arrived in the evening, but the address was still incorrect. I sent another email with my company address and am still waiting for a correct invoice. I fully understand that human errors can occur. However, I do expect such an issue to be resolved correctly by the second attempt, without requiring repeated follow-ups.

The general impression of the hotel was very good, the location is excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, however such issues as more variety at breakfast and at least drinking water available in the room would be greatly appreciated.
Everything was good. Clean, quiet, good drinks at hotel bar. Only thing that could do this hotel better is having a mini fridge in the rooms.
We absolutely love this hotel and come back every year with great pleasure. The hotel is very clean, perfectly located, and it’s a great place to truly rest and enjoy some quiet time. The late check-out is extremely appreciated, and this year it was perfectly respected which was a real game changer. No vacuum cleaning in the corridor before check-out, and no one knocking on the door or trying to enter the room early. This made the last morning much more relaxing and enjoyable. The welcome was also excellent, and the team is always very kind, friendly, and welcoming. We are already looking forward to coming back again.
I was missing the welcome water, some little soaps, and a bit more storage room in the room but other than that it was a good experiance.

You didn't still send me the invoice. I'm waiting for it to give my company. I don't want to hear about your IT problem. Just send me the invoice! Additionally, you should have a small mini bar for guest to have own cold drink

Very clean room, sheets, bathroom. I would easily recommend. A small refrigerator in the room would be great though.
I am a Motel One member and the hotel itself was fine, as I expect Motel One hotels to be. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, beds comfortable. However when I called earlier to confirm a late check in I was not advised that the street in front of the hotel was under construction and that I would not be able to drop my bags off before I went to find parking. When I reached the hotel in Mannhein the street was blocked and the area congested due to some fair a couple of streets down. I tried calling the hotel number a couple of times and did not have anyone answer the phone to advise me where to park. We had 2 rooms booked and we all had to walk through the streets with our luggage at 10PM. In the morning the sidewalk in front of the hotel had broken bottles and a massive amount of cigarette butts were all along the edge of the building. All in all this made for a very unpleasant experience.
Easy and super friendly experience at the check in. Good value for money, super central location.
This review is based on the fact that the street the hotel stood on was under construction and therefore provided no direct access to enter. Our luggage had to be hauled from the nearest garage. Nowhere on our booking site nor in our calls to the hotel was this made known to us. We would otherwise have booked elsewhere.
Good hotel, central, room and facilities are modern
I had a wonderful stay at Motel One in Mannheim. Everything was excellent – from the friendly staff and stylish atmosphere to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Tolles Hotel!
It’s a nice motel centrally located with all the facilities. Room was small but the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good although there was no door in the shower cubicle, as result toilet and wash basin area was getting wet. Staff are pleasant and polite and professional when interacting with guests. I have no hesitation in recommending this motel to potential customers.
Exceedingly friendly staff. The room was lovely, clean and quiet. The breakfast had great variety and was very tasty. I would absolutely stay here again next time I visit Mannheim.

Hotellet ligger centralt i Mannheim, direkte ved Paradeplatz med bronzespringvandet og desuden tæt på hovedbanegården. Byens største park, Luisenpark, ligger ligeledes kun en halv times gåtur fra hotellet.
For tips til seværdigheder som f.eks. Nationalteatret eller gode spisesteder, er vores gæster mere end velkomne til at spørge de stedkendte medarbejdere i receptionen til råds. Personalet på vores designhotel er altid gerne behjælpelige med tips til at udforske byen. Omend man bestemt også sagtens kan slappe af på hotellet.
