Comfort, relaxed, inspiring style and a great nights sleep, if that's what you value when staying away from home, then this is the place for you, with great service thrown in for good measure. Located a 2 minute walk from the Metro in a quiet residential/business neighbourhood, granted, not terribly exciting surroundings but it's clean, seemed safe for solo female travellers like me, and was very doable. I needed to charge my phone in the lounge area after checking out of the room, and there didn't seem to be anywhere to do this apart from handing my phone over to reception, which they were happy to do. But it would offer even more convenience to the customer to include this type of facility in the lounge area, even if it's discreetly.
Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, very clean, great bar and the staff is super friendly. The only drawback is that there’s no safe or tea/coffee facilities in the room.

A basic stay, nothing extraordinary, eg. in the room or facilities. Breakfast was ok
i had not stay at one of your hotels before and i am glad i did! the room was nicely decorated and very practical. loved the downstairs and bar area! would certainly stay again!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Motel One Amsterdam. The staff is highly customer-oriented which is very much appreciated. Location is perfect: nearby Metro station, in about 10 in minutes you are at Central Station Amsterdam. Parking facilities are very nice. Room and breakfast are good.
conveniently located in terms of transportation and availability of stores for daily essentials. Clean. Would be great if it had partnership with laundry service provider such as Laundry Heap

The room was clean. Beds were ok. No telefon in room, no water cooker, no safety box
Wonderful staff but the hotel is visibly dated - bathroom fittings, room hangers etc. Washroom fittings need an upgrade given the ceramic stains. It would also be nice if there were bigger beds for couples with single duvets; right now it’s just separate single beds and separate duvets.
Good place , supportive staff , good connectivity to city , few restaurants and shopping places around , rooms should have kettle and tea coffee arrangements. Breakfast is good and service from the staff is excellent
Building Nice and stylish. But the Service and kindness was bad. We asked over 2 days for extra pillows. It took 4 times to get them. Housekeeping was away. Wrong room number etc. There was no excuse. All the time when we asked for something it felt like we were disturbing. That was the worst experience we ever had. If this had been the first motel one experience, we would never come back.
The room and the whole environment are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My personal opinion is that the beds are too soft… but it depends. ;) In general, everything was great.
Scam, that's what come to my mind when I think back about my stay ! I booked without breakfast. When I checked in, I ask for one breakfast and I paid for it right at the check in. Finally, the next morning, I did not make it. So far, not a big deal... until your receptionnist told me that you will not refund as the person that control breakfast attendance can make mistake so you can't know if I took it or not. So either your personel is unskilled or you need to change the process ... Beside this bad aspect, my room was almost smaller than the corridor with no intimacy and very hot even with heater off. Not a pleasant stay. First time for me at Motel One but also the last time.
An excellent motel with friendly staff!
Friendly staff. Conveniently located near transportation. Room bright, tall ceiling, quiet, short on storage, missing kettle, fridge, and lotion in the bathroom. Great breakfast.
First time staying at motel one and I can honestly say I had a great 3 nights there very comfortable beds nice clean room and sound proofing one of the best I have stayed in couldn't hear a thing not even traffic . My new go to from now on as I come to Amsterdam at least 4 times a year see you again soon

A charming hotel with cozy decor. I chose it because of its logistically convenient location. Getting to the airport and city center by public transport was quick, with metro, tram, and train stops just a few hundred meters away. Very quiet – no city noise reached the room. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Reception and service were friendly, and we were able to leave our luggage in the storage room. The hotel room had everything I needed. When I travel in Europe, I always look for accommodation from the Motel One chain – reasonable prices and cozy lodging. We’re grateful :) and would definitely stay again next time. Highly recommended.

It was a nice and cozy stay, the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was good and the room was clean, tidy and slient. The location is very convenient to arrive city center via tram 4, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If I visit Amsterdam again, I'll definetely stay here.

Online booking via app went wrong. The app reset the date I had selected. So I immediattelly called the hotel to change the booking. This was not possible. I had to contact the contactcenter in the morning. In the morning they said I had missed the time to cancel the booking, their policy. I had to explain that I booked at 22.00 and could never meet their 18.00 change booking time(travel). Than they agreed on moving my booking to the date it should be. Well...I had to pay an additional 70 euro increasing the price from 100 to 170 euro (no breakfast included) for a tiny room of 8square meters or so. Criminal behaviour. Making the app impossible to check properly and than make the mistakes impossible to correct or massively expensive.

Great hotel. Very clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly. Easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam too.. little bar snacks if you’re not too hungry and lovely selection of drinks.
The lobby and lounge were lovely. I was not pleased with the room layout, nor the fact that water and coffee were taken away post breakfast. Other Amsterdam hotels in the area have this provided complimentary throughout the day. Further, the breakfast was very overpriced at 17 euros, given the limited selections and cramped area. Finally - it was a very frustrating process to add breakfast to the invoice.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were always helpful, friendly, and truly cared about my experience. The bar service was outstanding—not just great drinks, but a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel at home. A fantastic stay!
in general all fine, but I was charged twice and needed to come back to the hotel to get my money back. Time consuming and inconvenient. The receptionist apologized (fine), but not even offered a coffee or anything small to compensate for this mistake.

Thanks to you, my granddaughter and I had an unforgettable weekend in Amsterdam. For anyone planning to visit the city, I can highly recommend your hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet with a convenient tram connection that takes you to the Dam in just 15 minutes – it was simply ideal. Another great advantage was the secure parking garage, which gave me peace of mind knowing my car was safe and eliminated any stress about finding a parking spot. Additionally, the hotel’s location outside the busy city center meant there was no noise disturbance, allowing for a perfect night’s sleep. I am so happy with my choice—even for a city visit. MO Amsterdam is a fine place to stay for a City Trip. It is located outside the center, but this is to reach in 10 minutes with the Metro. The personal is friendly and very helpful. Other items (room, breakfast, etc.) is the well known good MO Standard. Only the fact, that the windows cannot be opened and the ventilation makes some sound all the time is disturbing.
Skønt Motel. Pænt, rent, hyggeligt. Fine værelser med gode senge, lille bord, lænestol og pænt badeværelse. Mulighed for rengøring/udskiftning af håndklæder. Hyggeligt morgenmadsområde/barområde.
Dejligt hotel, hyggeligt fællesområde og dejlige værelser. Super placering hvis du skal i konferencecenteret.

Vores Motel One Amsterdam er inspireret af den gode gamle jernhest: I morgenmadsområdet mødes du af et kunstværk lavet af gamle cykeldele, mens One Lounge overrasker med en abstrakt kunstinstallation / rumdeler, der ligeledes står i jernhestens tegn. Og så må landets andet symbol selvfølgelig heller ikke mangle: ægte hollandske tulipaner. De kulørte tulipaner tilfører designkonceptet et sprælsk strejf af farve.. Vi har iscenesat de farvestrålende blomster på en sort baggrund for maksimal effekt. Faktisk kommer de næsten til at minde om et stilleben malet af de gamle hollandske mestre. Med vores designhotel som udgangspunkt kan du opleve Amsterdams største attraktioner, mens byens særlige kulturkendetegn går igen i indretningsdesignet: kunst, blomster og cykler.
Vores billige designhotel ligger over for messeområdet og lige ved stoppestedet Amsterdam RAI. Dermed bor du i hjertet af den hollandske hovedstad og har kort til det meste. Du når f.eks. Amsterdam centrum med de smalle huse, brolagte stræder og berømte kanaler på få minutter med enten cykel eller offentlig transport. Tæt på designhotellet ligger den hyggelige bypark Amstelpark.
