I enjoyed my stay and it was great value for money, however my only complaints is that on our first day we were just sitting in bed to rest before going out at around 4pm and for some reason a cleaner barged into the room without knocking? Despite the fact the room had already been cleaned and it was past check in time. That was quite disorientating and when I called out to say there was someone in the room the cleaner ran out without saying anything or apologising, when I looked into the hallway after that there was nobody there and they had run around the corner, quite weird if i’m honest. Apart from that it was a nice stay.

Very comfortable bed. The room was small but had everything we needed. Great added extras in bathroom and lovely plush towels. A mini fridge would have been a welcomed addition Car park was a little awkward having to park on double yellow lines to pop in to get a fob for gate when entering then doing again to return
On arrival the receptionist we got was unfriendly & not welcoming at all. While we could hear the other receptionist being friendly and chatty. Unfortunately we didn’t get her name & never saw her again. Other staff we talked to were lovely. The room was very stylish, clean and comfortable but very small. I have never stayed in such a small space & felt a little claustrophobic. Again bathroom was tiny but functional with good shower. Walls Very thin could hear clear conversation next door & in corridor’s. Was woke up early next morning to loud music and giggling girls. The bed was very comfortable which is an important part of the stay.
Hotel is in a good location. Staff were friendly. The hotel doors seemed strange almost like they wasn’t shutting properly. Good stay
Reception staff are always friendly & polite, 2nd time staying here & would definitely recommend. Fantastic location, lovely clean, modern rooms. I have not had breakfast so cannot comment on this.
Words can not describe the disappointment, when I booked it said I had parking internet flatscreen tv ect. I get there to be told I had to book the parking separately…..(there was nowhere for me to do that when booking it. I just thought like anyone else probably did that you just sorted it on arrival) so had to drive to a public car park which took an hour (which almost wrecked the night I had planned) and leave it there and carry all my stuff to the motel. Room said I came with internet and a flatscreen tv….it just came with a tv. The internet didn’t work, I assumed the tv would have internet (YouTube Netflix ect) it didn’t. The WiFi didn’t work, I was told to watch Netflix or YouTube i’d have to connect a hdmi lead to my phone and tv………I’m glad I only stayed one night because anything more than that I would’ve definitely cancelled. I literally only used the room to sleep. No iron in the room and no phone to call reception so had to go down to ask why there wasn’t and was then given one to which going up the lift another guest said is your room basic aswell? We both laughed but it was a (yeah….we’re not coming back here again laugh). Shower was a trickle no power in it had to pick it up to get it to reach me.

Lovely, friendly & helpful staff.
Had an amazing stay at the motel one near Royal Exchange. Rooms were exactly as advertised which was what I was looking for. Amenities were all in order and all the staff was helpful. The cleaners, bar staff and receptionist - all very helpful and answering any (sometimes silly) questions I had. A special mention to Fatima and Evie, were a big help all throughout my stay and very personable.
Clean rooms..comfy bed..but little room for storage of clothes and there was no cooked breakfasts which is always nice when on holiday/breaks away

Our second Motel 1 stay in Manchester. Excellent value, central location. High cleanliness standards. Very efficient and helpful staff. Room as advertised , just big enough . Nice to have bottle of water . Guest seating areas and bar very comfortable. Will use again and recommend
I had a very good stay here. The staff especially Michael and Miguel were friendly and helpful, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my visit. The hotel met all of my travel needs and made my trip easy and enjoyable. I would recommend it to other travelers
We love this hotel and it’s pricing and of course its location. The only disappointment was that neither usb charging sockets worked so we had to purchase plugs.

Excellent location and the hotel had everything you need for a short stay, including a car park option. All staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, comfortable and had a good atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was great but the tv was a wee bit stop starty with certain channels but everything else was perfect
We found the bedroom quite small, my friend has stayed with you before a couple of times when going to the theatre and the rooms were bigger. Didn't like the pillows, one was extremely flat and the other was a long thin one that was hard. The bedroom and bathroom were clean . Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it

Hotel muy céntrico, relación calidad-precio muy buena. La habitación es amplia, moderna y cómoda, tiene todo lo que necesitas. El personal del hotel muy amable en todo momento.
Excelente ubicación
Buena ubicación. Cómodo, pequeño. Pero me encontré varias veces con cosas sucias, el elevador, la estancia, pegajosos. El desayuno la fruta en ocasiones me tocó fermentada. Mario el gerente del Bar fue muy amable, recomendó lugares para salir a comer y siempre que pudo ayudó con orientación aparte de que hace muy buen café.
La ubicación no puede ser mejor al lado del ayuntamiento muy cómodo para pasar unos días, el personal fantástico en especial Mario,que nos ayudó con el idioma y súper atento y muy amable lo mismo que Andrea asique darles las gracias,el hotel es recomendable 100/100 y los desayunos inmejorables
El personal fue muy amable y la ubicación estaba espectacular. Las instalaciones 10/10, creo que está en un buen precio para su calidad.

Trato personal de Andrea y Ginevra muy bueno
Mi esposa y yo nos hemos sentido como en casa. Hacia tiempo que no saliamos al Reino Unido y habiamos perdido un poco el oido para el idioma y sobre todo esa sensacion de no conectar desde hacia diez años de no manejar el idioma, pero nos lo pusieron muy facil tanto el recepcionista el primer dia y que ahora no me recuerdo de su nombre, como finalmente Mario (me recuerdo de su nombre porque se llama asi mi nieto) super afables, cercanos y eso como dije al principio, nos hizo sentirnos en nuestra casa.
Lo que peor me parece es que el personal de recepción no tenga silla o taburete para poder sentarse. Pasar un turno entero de trabajo de pie es muy duro...además de que las pantallas del pc están muy alejadas de la distancia a la que deben estar. Lo he visto en varios Motel One en los que he estado.
Ha sido una sorpresa extraordinaria a pesar de no haber tenido una experiencia previa en con la cadena hotelera . El concepto , el diseño , todo en armonía . Ubicación excelente . Tienen un manager :Mario , es un host de primera , inclusive participando más allá de su responsabilidades . Repetiremos a ojos cerrados

Lo único malo a destacar es la falta de armario en la habitación. Lo mejor fue en la cafetería encontrar a Andrea, un auténtico ángel, nos hizo una guía completa de Manchester, nos recomendó sitios para comer e incluso nos informó de los descuentos que teníamos por alejarnos en el hotel como por ejemplo en el Gimansio de al lado. Creo que Andrea debería estar en la recepción porque su amabilidad e información para nosotros fue muy valiosa.

A la habitación les falta algun mueble para poner la ropa, al igual que el lavabo no hay donde dejar los neceseres.

Simplicidad con estilo. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero tienen todo lo necesario. La cama es muy cómoda. El hotel muy silencioso, perfecto para descansar. El desayuno es bueno, aunque no tiene nada de cocina caliente, tiene buenos yogures, fruta, tomate, etc. Y el personal super amable.

Nuestra estancia en el Hotel fue muy agradable. El personal encantador y muy simpático. La habitación muy limpia y el baño muy completo.
La estancia fue maravillosa, el hotel es silencioso y con todas las comodidades. Nos encantó el detalle del calentador de agua y el té, también agradecimos que hubiese enchufes con diferentes clavijas, ya que nos olvidamos del adaptador. El desayuno es un 9, no le doy el 10 por no tener zumo de naranja natural, pero por lo demás es estupendo. Todo el personal desde camareros, recepcionistas y limpieza fueron muy amables.

Su Motel One con estilo Industrial Chic
El diseño de nuestro Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange en el estilo industrial que tanto está de moda recuerda a la tradicional vinculación de Manchester con el algodón por la que también se conocía como «Cottonopolis»: Aquí todo gira entorno al algodón como materia prima y su proceso de mecanizado industrial. En la zona de entrada, los arcos de medio punto en acero de seis metros de altura y una pared de holán estampado le van preparando para la temática del diseño. Además de muebles de Baxter y lámparas de péndulo de Arturo Álvarez, también encontrará pequeños detalles como carretes de hilo o máquinas de hilar que le dan el toque final al diseño.
Un elemento destacable es la instalación de la pared, la «Cottonopolis» del artista Andy Singleton, que consigue que hilos sueltos se entrelacen hasta formar una obra de arte.
Nuestro hotel asequible se encuentra directamente enfrente del teatro Royal Exchange Theatre en el centro de la ciudad de Manchester. Al ayuntamiento, la catedral de Manchester, el estadio Manchester Arena y el centro de convenciones Manchester Central Convention Complex se llega andando. También es muy práctico que se encuentre cerca de las estaciones de tren de Victoria y Manchester Piccadilly.
