Great location, very nice bar, friendly staff - all good. The room was quite small but very comfortable.

There should be a grab rail in the Walk-in shower. The floor is slippery and it is unsafe without one. Bread rolls ought to be warmed up before being put out on the Buffet for breakfast.
After stating in numerous motel ones around Europe I can honestly say that this stay was very poor from start to finish. I feel like this property on particular has really let itself go. The level of hygiene was very poor and all areas of the hotel was completely left unchecked. Now to the worst part, my daughter and I stayed for 2 nights in total and over the whole weekend we had 3 hours sleep. After being kept awake for the entire first night and ringing reception about the guest next door to us who were shouting playing music and running up and down the hallway nothing was resolved. We mentioned it to the people on the desk in the mor I g and we were told it was being investigated and assured it would not happen again the following night. How wrong they were, it was worse again and when we rang down again nothing was done. It was so bad I would seriously have to reconsider staying with the chain again which is unfortunate as me and my entire family use this company regularly.
Staff are welcoming, responsive and friendly. The rooms are clean and well laid out, perfect for a City stay. Bar prices on the expensive side but maybe to be expected in City Centre. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast, we hadn’t realised it was continental style and not a hot, cooked breakfast. We would have chosen to eat breakfast elsewhere had we known this.

Overall good experience. Airconditioning not working in the night, and suddenly changing itself to heating mode and heating the room up to 25C was not exactly a great experience. If airconditioning for whatever reason is not to be used in the evening, inform your guests beforehand!

it was a nice room and the staff were great at helping out when i needed them, i always book room with breakfast for each of my stays, and i was told that i had not, i would not have picked a stay at any motel one without choosing breakfast, so i was unhappy with that.
I stayed on the 7th floor and there were a couple in the room between myself and a work colleague. Lets just say with the all the arguing, shouting most of the night and lets just say we both didn't gt much sleep as I imagine the rest of the floor. I think security should have removed them from the hotel as the arguing was still ongoing in the morning. I didn't feel safe in the room/hotel and would not be returing again. Toilet creaked a bit and tv did not switch off, so had to switch connection off. Test was lovely
Absolutely wonderful stay 10/10 Very friendly staff, the room was lovely - was a nice surprise to have a very comfortable King's size bed! Just a few minutes walk into town and a lovely bonus was check out was not until 12pm .. Was our first time at Motel One but would definitely stay there again ☺️
Third stay at a Motel One (Dublin and Hamburg) and it’s always outstanding.
Myself and my colleague's room were either side of a couple in room 717 who continued to argue and fight from 11pm throughout the night and still arguing at 9am when we left our rooms to check out. The reception staff did make contact with the couple however they continued regardless. As such, both myself and colleague were unable to sleep, it was frightening at some points due to their raised voices, load bangs as well as the woman sobbing in the hallway outside my door. The nuisance caused by this couple was not dealt with appropriately and because of this myself and colleagues will not be considering a return stay.
The room was great, they heated up my lunchbox and they allowed me to store my luggage. Can’t complain.
Housekeeping and frontdesk very helpful and kind ,breakfast staff moody and complaining resulting in me cancelling breakfast all together. Motel One does not qualify at all for breakfastr spread and selection way below par.

Estancia genial. La habitación muy amplia esta vez comprado con la habitación de la ultima vez. Todo muy limpio. Las camas y almohadas muy cómodas. El desayuno muy bien, y el personal siempre atento si necesitas algo te intentan ayudar rápidamente. Lo recomiendo 100%, es la tercera vez que me hospedo aqui. Antes habia estado en otros hoteles en Manchester. Espero que sigan asi, para que continue confiando en ellos

Everyone was so lovely from day one. The room was beautiful and super clean with every possible amenity you might need. Bed was comfortable and big and the hotel is central. It was my first time there and now I will alway book this hotel when I’m Manchester and best part is I took my chihuahua with me! Thanks a lot!

Great location. Rooms I just was needed for a short break small clean coffee making and we were given a bottle of water when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful staff, great location. Spotless comfortable room, and hotel. Breakfast is amazing and the drinks are fantastic. Secure car park is a must. Nothing too much trouble, place is run to a very high standard. There is nothing not to like at this hotel.
From the minute we got to the door to the minute we left everything was fabulous. The whole place looks lovely throughout and the rooms are gorgeous. Will definitely be coming back to stay again

Central location handy for attractions, shopping and places to eat. Check in was efficient. Breakfast was surprisingly good - I really liked the options offered. Bed was comfy & got a great night's sleep (we were located on the 6th floor at the back. If we wanted to go up the stairs instead of the lift then our key card wouldn't work and only a staff member could let you through. Rooms at the back were overlooked by offices and apartments so we had the curtains drawn for privacy in the day. Ventilation in the room was ok but not sure it did much Breakfast price seemed expensive for continental only

Muy buena la estancia en el Motel One de Nothern Quarter, la recepción muy amable, la cama super cómoda dormí genial las dos noches, almohada cómoda que ya es difícil conseguir, buena limpieza y la ubicación inmejorable, además de edificio muy bonito. Lo único que no me gustó fue que no hay suficiente presión en la ducha y que había poco espacio para guardar ropa.
El hotel es muy lindo y limpio. La atención vino excelente e inmejorable. Volveremos sin dudas
Situación inmejorable muy céntrico
Nos encantó por comodidad, desayuno, personal, diseño y ubicación. La pega que le ponemos es que no hicieron limpieza bajo la disculpa de que era sábado. Una pena, porque sino les pondría un 10.

Excelente ubicación
Buena ubicación. Cómodo, pequeño. Pero me encontré varias veces con cosas sucias, el elevador, la estancia, pegajosos. El desayuno la fruta en ocasiones me tocó fermentada. Mario el gerente del Bar fue muy amable, recomendó lugares para salir a comer y siempre que pudo ayudó con orientación aparte de que hace muy buen café.
La ubicación no puede ser mejor al lado del ayuntamiento muy cómodo para pasar unos días, el personal fantástico en especial Mario,que nos ayudó con el idioma y súper atento y muy amable lo mismo que Andrea asique darles las gracias,el hotel es recomendable 100/100 y los desayunos inmejorables
El personal fue muy amable y la ubicación estaba espectacular. Las instalaciones 10/10, creo que está en un buen precio para su calidad.

Hotel Mánchester-Royal Exchange
El diseño de nuestro Motel One Mánchester-Royal Exchange en el estilo industrial que tanto está de moda, recuerda a la tradicional vinculación de Mánchester con el algodón, por la que también se conocía como «Cottonopolis». Aquí todo gira en torno al algodón como materia prima y su proceso de mecanizado industrial. En la zona de entrada, los arcos de medio punto en acero de seis metros de altura y una pared de holán estampado te van preparando para la temática del diseño. Además de muebles de Baxter y lámparas de péndulo de Arturo Álvarez, encontrarás pequeños detalles como carretes de hilo o máquinas de hilar que le dan el toque final al diseño.
Un elemento destacable es la instalación de la pared, la «Cottonopolis» del artista Andy Singleton, que consigue que hilos sueltos se entrelacen hasta formar una obra de arte.
Nuestro económico hotel se encuentra directamente enfrente del teatro Royal Exchange Theatre en el centro de la ciudad de Mánchester. Puedes llegar andando al ayuntamiento, la Catedral de Mánchester, el estadio Manchester Arena y el centro de convenciones Manchester Central Convention Complex. También es muy práctico que te encuentres cerca de las estaciones de tren de Victoria y Manchester Piccadilly.
