The hotel was brilliant! Super clean and the room was lovely. All staff were very friendly and helpful!
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel over the weekend. The staff were so helpful, warm & welcoming. We utilised the onsite parking which was extremely convenient & good value for its city centre location. The check in & out process is quick & easy. We requested late check out which the team kindly offered free of charge, a nice touch. Rooms are always clean & beds very comfortable. The hotel bar is well stocked & offers a good selection of cocktails.
Booked for our Oasis gig on the 19th of July. So happy we did, everything was centrally located to the hotel. Which was fantastic!! Our room was a decent size and had a lovely city view. Everything was clean and top notch. Will definitely be back for another stay soon.
Always a pleasure to stay here. Staff always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast a little pricey if you don't have a big breakfast appetite.
We did not have a good experience. We had called multiple times prior to our trip to ask if the reception could help us coordinate a taxi for us and when we checked in, she kept insisting she would call. Long story short, she never called and we had no taxi. We needed the help because we were traveling internationally and had trouble calling on our cell phones. We were left stranded and had to scramble for help to get a ride. I asked for towels at 9 am, by 11pm when we got back to the room, there were no towels. Every time we talked to reception they had this attitude of “of course we will help don’t worry” and not once did they actually follow through. I had added an extra night to our stay months before we arrived, I had to “check out then check back in” which is fine. The woman at the front desk proceeded to tell me there is no way the extra night would cost 300 pounds and not to worry about it and she would figure it out. Not shockingly, we ended up having to pay the 300+ pounds for a single night. This is common sense. Don’t tell your customers not to worry and there’s no way we would pay for more than 150 if that is not true. Seriously, every single time we had to interact with reception it was a headache. It’s a hotel, not rocket science. The things we asked for were not complicated. Don’t tell your customers something will be done then don’t do it. We paid over 800 euros for three nights, why was staying here so difficult???
Lovely hotel, great location, can’t say a bad word about it. Easy check in and check out. Maids friendly and replenish anything you ask for.
We had a very friendly and helpful welcome on arrival, the staff went out of their way to allow us to check in early. Very quick and efficient service, the room was clean, well appointed and big enough for our needs. The bed was comfortable. We paid for breakfast which is just a continental, but there was plenty of choice available.
The team are extremely welcoming and were all very polite and attentive. Had a fire alarm one night, where someone could have communicated better with guests so that we knew what was going on. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent
Comfortable bed, nice clean room! I would have liked more pillows on my bed but apart from that everything was great!
The only gripe I have is that the carpet wasn’t as clean as I would have expected (not filthy, but I felt it was due a clean) and there was some mould in the grouting of the shower tiles, but not a lot and the bathroom was otherwise immaculate and the best part of the whole room. I liked that the window in the bedroom could open a decent amount to let a breeze through and I was really impressed with the WiFi. I had no problems with noise whatsoever and slept very comfortably. Breakfast was great and staff were all very friendly, helpful, welcoming and polite: from front of house, bar staff, housekeeping - everyone. Great location too!
Very enjoyable stay at your Manchester Royal Exchange and the staff were very helpful indeed. The service was excellent and quality of room was top quality. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay there.

Clean, modern and super friendly staff
The property is well located and reasonably good value. The reception staff that 'greeted' us informed us we couldn't check in for 4 minutes! and then gave us an inferior room to the one we had booked which meant a phone call to the hotel with my mobile as no phones in the room and a move to the correct room. Once in the correct room it was fairly spacious if basic. About 8 hangers and no where else to put clothes so clearly this hotel is designed for overnight stays only rather than several nights.

Very comfortable room in a hotel ideally situated for Manchester’s central attractions and shopping. Very nice staff on reception. Booked car parking which is very convenient but the system is chaotic. The instruction is to report to reception to get a key fob for the car park. To do this you run the risk of a ticket - if you miss the turning alongside the Hotel you have to drive through an area prohibited to general traffic (fine incoming). Only one of the three lifts in reception goes down to the car park, but it is not signed as such on the wall, so finding the correct lift first time is frustrating.
Stayed for one night. Great location. Large moth in room 405 lost rating one point. Disappointed that booking parking was not recommended. As a disabled driver this led to a lot of discomfort finding suitable parking.

Room 133 wasn't very nice - dull - the carpet was disgusting - no privacy at all. Very disappointed
Lovely hotel. Sockets were not in right place. No socket near table with kettle, had to put the kettle on the floor and unplug a lamp. Also no socket near mirror to dry hair, had to unplug another lamp to use socket.
Considering the price, room was clean, functional and comfortable. Bathroom was clean, shower good. All staff very polite and helpful. Definitely stay again.
La ubicación no puede ser mejor al lado del ayuntamiento muy cómodo para pasar unos días, el personal fantástico en especial Mario,que nos ayudó con el idioma y súper atento y muy amable lo mismo que Andrea asique darles las gracias,el hotel es recomendable 100/100 y los desayunos inmejorables
El personal fue muy amable y la ubicación estaba espectacular. Las instalaciones 10/10, creo que está en un buen precio para su calidad.

Trato personal de Andrea y Ginevra muy bueno
Mi esposa y yo nos hemos sentido como en casa. Hacia tiempo que no saliamos al Reino Unido y habiamos perdido un poco el oido para el idioma y sobre todo esa sensacion de no conectar desde hacia diez años de no manejar el idioma, pero nos lo pusieron muy facil tanto el recepcionista el primer dia y que ahora no me recuerdo de su nombre, como finalmente Mario (me recuerdo de su nombre porque se llama asi mi nieto) super afables, cercanos y eso como dije al principio, nos hizo sentirnos en nuestra casa.
Lo que peor me parece es que el personal de recepción no tenga silla o taburete para poder sentarse. Pasar un turno entero de trabajo de pie es muy duro...además de que las pantallas del pc están muy alejadas de la distancia a la que deben estar. Lo he visto en varios Motel One en los que he estado.
Ha sido una sorpresa extraordinaria a pesar de no haber tenido una experiencia previa en con la cadena hotelera . El concepto , el diseño , todo en armonía . Ubicación excelente . Tienen un manager :Mario , es un host de primera , inclusive participando más allá de su responsabilidades . Repetiremos a ojos cerrados

Lo único malo a destacar es la falta de armario en la habitación. Lo mejor fue en la cafetería encontrar a Andrea, un auténtico ángel, nos hizo una guía completa de Manchester, nos recomendó sitios para comer e incluso nos informó de los descuentos que teníamos por alejarnos en el hotel como por ejemplo en el Gimansio de al lado. Creo que Andrea debería estar en la recepción porque su amabilidad e información para nosotros fue muy valiosa.

A la habitación les falta algun mueble para poner la ropa, al igual que el lavabo no hay donde dejar los neceseres.

Simplicidad con estilo. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero tienen todo lo necesario. La cama es muy cómoda. El hotel muy silencioso, perfecto para descansar. El desayuno es bueno, aunque no tiene nada de cocina caliente, tiene buenos yogures, fruta, tomate, etc. Y el personal super amable.

Nuestra estancia en el Hotel fue muy agradable. El personal encantador y muy simpático. La habitación muy limpia y el baño muy completo.
La estancia fue maravillosa, el hotel es silencioso y con todas las comodidades. Nos encantó el detalle del calentador de agua y el té, también agradecimos que hubiese enchufes con diferentes clavijas, ya que nos olvidamos del adaptador. El desayuno es un 9, no le doy el 10 por no tener zumo de naranja natural, pero por lo demás es estupendo. Todo el personal desde camareros, recepcionistas y limpieza fueron muy amables.

La habitación cómoda, aunque demasiado pequeña y daba a un callejón horrible, casi sin ventas, soloeuns puerta fija grande, cuando le pedí expresamente en el check-in al personal una buena y amploa habitación porque se veía que el hotel tenía bastantes disponibles

Su Motel One con estilo Industrial Chic
El diseño de nuestro Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange en el estilo industrial que tanto está de moda recuerda a la tradicional vinculación de Manchester con el algodón por la que también se conocía como «Cottonopolis»: Aquí todo gira entorno al algodón como materia prima y su proceso de mecanizado industrial. En la zona de entrada, los arcos de medio punto en acero de seis metros de altura y una pared de holán estampado le van preparando para la temática del diseño. Además de muebles de Baxter y lámparas de péndulo de Arturo Álvarez, también encontrará pequeños detalles como carretes de hilo o máquinas de hilar que le dan el toque final al diseño.
Un elemento destacable es la instalación de la pared, la «Cottonopolis» del artista Andy Singleton, que consigue que hilos sueltos se entrelacen hasta formar una obra de arte.
Nuestro hotel asequible se encuentra directamente enfrente del teatro Royal Exchange Theatre en el centro de la ciudad de Manchester. Al ayuntamiento, la catedral de Manchester, el estadio Manchester Arena y el centro de convenciones Manchester Central Convention Complex se llega andando. También es muy práctico que se encuentre cerca de las estaciones de tren de Victoria y Manchester Piccadilly.
