Always friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and excellent location.
This is an outstanding property! It is impeccably maintained, the staff are lovely, and its location provides access to many shops and restaurants in the heart of Graz.

The elegant settings and clean environment were very atteractive. What I missed however in this price category: Water heater, small fridge, glass for tooth brush, night console bigger than for water bottle and phone
The location of the hotel was convenient however with our room at the end of the corridor, the tram could be heard every few minutes. This was disappointing
Being on Business I stay at many Motel Ones, they are all great, but the staff at Motel One Graz are the friendliest, most efficient and welcoming staff. Working in the door gives you a sense of being home. They go above and beyond. Marilla on the Bar is exceptional and a real star - she needs to be recognised for her wonderful work. Everything was fantastic! Food and coffee were delicious, room and bathroom were perfect for my needs, and I loved being next to Jakominiplatz to get anywhere. Any staff I talked to had answers for all of my questions.

On the day of the checkout, I forgot my charger in the room, stored my luggage, went away, and returned around 3. I suppose that the room was cleaned and the charger was found when I went back for my luggage. The service would be truly exceptional if the staff noticed the charger, found out that I was still around, and returned the charger. It's not something I would expect to happen, and it's my fault, but doing that would be mindblowing service. Also, for breakfast, there were no eggs or sausages. This was a mild disappointment.

Flawless hotel, right in the heart of the city with an amazing view over a busy square, but also quiet, due to proper insulation. The staff is excellent too. Everything was perfect.

As a solo, female traveller in my late sixties, I felt completely safe and at ease in the Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. My room was bright and very clean with an abundance of mirrors (thank you!), shower powerfully and plenty of towels. The reception area was comfortable and welcoming.

We stayed Motel on One in Graz. The staff were very welcoming, one of the young men spoke English which was a great help. He also gave us some advice on areas to visit etc. The room was very comfortable, shower great. Lovely that you could pop down and have a drink/coffee without leaving the premises. Highly recommend, thank you
Beautiful boutique hotel with fun design. Nice and clean smal room with the view over the trees. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice well planed bathroom and really good shower. Good breakfast and cofe but the egg was to raw for me. Wish you could have hard boiled egg too. Lack of warm food.

The staff is super friendly. They even helped me to check in a bit earlier than usual. The room was like always very good and cosy. It was my 4 the stay at this hotel in Graz and i will stay there again for sure, when i am back in Graz.
Very nice desined hotel in center of Graz, everything is in walk distance. It seems breakfast area doesn't really fit all guests when hotel is fully booked.
Everything was just perfect!
Everything was as expected as stayed in many Motel One establishments. The team at Graz looked after everything we required. The hotel was immaculately clean, rooms quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was as good as usual.

We were Walk-In on Wednesday as we jut decided to have a day in Graz on our way home. We were very impressed with the high standar of the hotel and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We usually use the NH Hotel when we stay in Graz, bus as of now it will be Motel One.
Everything was great. Perfect location, very nice room and very kind personal.
The hotel is extremely well set up, good decor good food extremely clean and all staff were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much for the staff and they did everything with a smile on their face. Location is great providing excellent access to transport links and access to the local area.

Sigue la línea de Motel One: hall super bonito, grande y cómodo y habitación básica (ni secador de pelo hay), pero correcta. El precio por perro y noche son 15€, pero no ofrecen ni siquiera una manta o un simple bebedero, lo que significa ganar dinero por ganar. Deberían trabajar este aspecto. Se supone que el pago es en concepto de limpieza, pero no pasan a limpiar cada día. Igualmente, la limpieza con o sin perro es la misma porque el personal de limpieza no dispone de más tiempo. Por esta parte es un abuso.
La decoración y los colores del hotel invitan al relax.
Además de muy elegante y bonito la ubicación es única y su personal lo hace perfecto

La ciudad de los títulos
Graz es la campeona de títulos en Austria. Ya en los años 70, esta metrópoli del estado federado de Estiria se ganó el apodo de «capital secreta de la literatura». El siguiente hito llegó en 2003, año en el que Graz fue nombrada oficialmente Capital Europea de la Cultura. En el año 2008, la segunda ciudad de Austria celebró su gran éxito culinario. Por fin puede adornar su nombre con el título de «capital gastronómica». Y no se habla de la capital del estado federado de Estiria solo por su cultura y su literatura: también tiene buena mano para el diseño. No en vano fue coronada en 2011 como «City of Design» por la empresa Creative Industry Styria. Graz debe su gran número de títulos a su animada escena creativa. Literatos, artistas, arquitectos y diseñadores: para los que quieran despertar su vena creativa, la ciudad de los títulos es el lugar idóneo.
Equilibrio entre tradición y modernidad
Casi ninguna metrópolis de Austria juega de una forma tan natural con la modernidad y la tradición como lo hace Graz. Aquí se combina la arquitectura purista con el encanto histórico y se obtiene un resultado extraordinario.
¿Te apetece viajar en el tiempo hasta el siglo XIII? ¡Hecho! La torre del reloj atrasa la hora todo un siglo. Pero ten cuidado: mirar la esfera del emblema de Graz puede crear confusión. ¿Cuál es el motivo? La enorme diferencia de tamaño entre las manecillas de la hora y el minutero siempre provoca miradas de asombro. Otra joya histórica es el castillo de Eggenberg. Desde 1625, esta construcción barroca caracteriza el aspecto urbano de Graz. Actualmente, incluso se considera el complejo palaciego más grande y más relevante del estado federado de Estiria. Sigamos hasta la plaza del carillón, la Glockenspielplatz. En ella, una parejita vestida con el traje regional sale tres veces al día. Desde 1905, estas coloridas figuras bailan en lo más alto de la plaza al son de animadas melodías, desde la tradicional música austriaca de los Alpes hasta composiciones modernas y villancicos. Pero la idea que se escondía detrás de este carillón no era un mero entretenimiento: durante mucho tiempo sirvió como un truco de marketing. Y es que, con esta pequeña representación de baile, el fabricante de bebidas alcohólicas Gottfried Maurer, que era un hábil empresario, pretendía atraer a los clientes a su establecimiento situado en aquella plaza antaño llamada plaza Fliegelplatz.
Pero ya está bien de historia. Ahora es momento de hacer una incursión a la Graz moderna. A tan solo unos minutos a pie desde el casco histórico, el museo Kunsthaus Graz te dará la bienvenida. Este emblema purista de la ciudad llama la atención desde bien lejos. ¡Y no es de extrañar! Esta construcción de llamativo color azul contrasta notablemente con los tradicionales tejados rojos, ganándose el apodo cariñoso de «Friendly Alien». Desde 2003, este museo de arte contemporáneo presenta los hitos más importantes de las últimas cuatro décadas.
¿Te apetece ver una obra de arte arquitectónica rodeada de verde? Entonces, merece la pena visitar la Murinsel. Esta construcción de acero con 47 m de longitud no promete demasiado. Se ha aposentado en medio del río Mur. Pero el artista estadounidense Vito Acconci no solo estuvo acertado en su ubicación, sino también en su diseño. Sus líneas orgánicas con el techo de cristal abovedado evocan conscientemente la sensual forma de una concha. Desde 2003, la moderna obra de cristal y acero es un popular centro de conciertos, teatro y exposiciones, y no sin razón.
