The staff is super friendly. They even helped me to check in a bit earlier than usual. The room was like always very good and cosy. It was my 4 the stay at this hotel in Graz and i will stay there again for sure, when i am back in Graz.
Very nice desined hotel in center of Graz, everything is in walk distance. It seems breakfast area doesn't really fit all guests when hotel is fully booked.

Everything was as expected as stayed in many Motel One establishments. The team at Graz looked after everything we required. The hotel was immaculately clean, rooms quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was as good as usual.

We were Walk-In on Wednesday as we jut decided to have a day in Graz on our way home. We were very impressed with the high standar of the hotel and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We usually use the NH Hotel when we stay in Graz, bus as of now it will be Motel One.
Everything was great. Perfect location, very nice room and very kind personal.
The hotel is extremely well set up, good decor good food extremely clean and all staff were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much for the staff and they did everything with a smile on their face. Location is great providing excellent access to transport links and access to the local area.

I had a wonderful stay at Motel One Graz. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk from the opera and most of the city’s main attractions. The design is amazing, stylish yet warm, and every detail feels well thought through. The rooms are functional, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, offering everything you need for a pleasant city stay. A special mention goes to the lovely staff, who were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout my stay. Whether you’re visiting Graz for business or leisure, Motel One Graz is an excellent choice, modern, efficient, and full of charm.

Motel is in a good location near Jakominiplatz. The rooms are clean with surprisingly good sound insulation. You can get everywhere in the city under 30 minutes wirh the tram station near the motel.

Feels Like Home at Motel One I had a fantastic stay at Motel One. The room was excellent — spotless, well-sized, and thoughtfully designed with a comfortable bed and a desk, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home immediately. The location is perfect, and the overall offer is exactly what I appreciate: everything I need, nothing unnecessary, and all at a great price. I especially liked the self-check-in and the convenience of using my phone as a room key — very modern and efficient. The only small hiccup was returning to the hotel after midnight: the front sliding door didn’t open automatically, and I wasn’t sure how to use the phone key to get in. Luckily, another guest was leaving, so I was able to enter. I’m still not sure if it was a mistake on my part or a technical issue, but it didn’t affect my overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for smart comfort and great value!

It was a super great experience of 5 nights. I booked through the conferenece homepage's recommendation. The price is rational. The service was great. And the most important for me, it is in the center of city. The breakfast was also impressive by the way!
1. I arrived from the night train from Zurich-tired and unwashed at 8h, and was greeted with: Your room is ready now. Precious words indeed. 2. We arranged a UPS delivery, storage and collection- all so smooth and easy, with scissors and sticky tape available. 3. We changed the reservations by phone. Again, so easy and kind. We love Motel One and its wonderful staff! Thank you.
Attentive staff, cozy rooms
I had an excellent stay at Motel One in Graz. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a smile. Furkan checked me in and was very friendly, provided excellent service, and recommended an excellent restaurant serving Austrian food. I also worked with Viktoria. She was always very attentive and friendly - even though I asked her for help multiple times upon arriving. Everyone at the reception desk was friendly and helpful - but both Furkan and Viktoria went well above and beyond what I would have expected.

Having stayed at both Salzburg and Graz Motel Ones within the last few weeks, we noted the usual reliable value and quality levels but unfortunately poor and overpriced breakfast offerings. Motel One definitely needs to improve in this area.
Good as usual
Another great Motel One experience. No surprise, always same. I do not remember how many times I stayed in MotelOne hotels but they make me feel at home. I do not stay in any hotel other than MotelOne If there is a MotelOne in a city that I am travelling to. Highly recommended.
The location was amazing, but we were disappointed that the room is too small and doesn't have basic things what I expected from 4* hotel such as kettle and fridge.
Very stylish location next to the center of Graz. The only small points deduction is for the wheelchair accessible bathroom - sanitary facilities are installed too low, even for a small person.
The reservation process was inadequate. Booking from the website did not work, I then booked by email and got a much higher price than indicated on the website. Breakfast had to be paid extra. The price was too high. The slogan "like the price" was not suitable.

The room was clean, comfortable and nicely presented. The bar area was nice. Staff were pleasant. It would make a big difference if there were a couple of items added to the bar menu apart from sandwiches.

Everything was ok. The only bad things were the lack of options from the breakfast, and the noise made sometimes by the local transportation (which i know it is not avoidable).

Štýrský Hradec je lovec titulů mezi rakouskými městy. Už v 70. letech získala štýrská metropole přezdívku Tajné hlavní město literatury. Další milník přišel v roce 2003. Štýrský Hradec se stal Evropským hlavním městem kultury. Svůj velký kulinářský úspěch oslavilo druhé největší město Rakouska v roce 2008. Konečně si mohlo připsat titul Gastronomické hlavní město. Nejen po kulturní a literární stránce má však hlavní město Štýrska co nabídnout. Vyniká také v designu. Proto není divu, že v roce 2011 získalo od organizace Creative Industries Styria titul City of Design. Za svou bohatou sbírku titulů vděčí Štýrský Hradec své dynamické kreativní scéně. Ať už literáti, umělci, architekti nebo designéři – komu v žilách koluje tvůrčí krev, ten je ve městě titulů na správné adrese.
Mezi tradicí a modernou
Jen těžko byste v Rakousku hledali město, které spojuje modernu s tradicí tak zručně jako Štýrský Hradec. Snoubí se v něm puristická architektura s historickým půvabem.
Co byste třeba řekli na cestu časem do 13. století? Není nic jednoduššího, hodinová věž vrací čas o jedno století zpět. Ale pozor: pohled na ciferník tohoto známého symbolu města vás může zmást. Důvodem je extrémní rozdíl ve velikosti hodinové a minutové ručičky, který u návštěvníků často vzbuzuje udivené pohledy. Dalším historickým klenotem je zámek Eggenberg. Tato barokní stavba utváří jedinečný charakter Štýrského Hradce, a to už od roku 1625. Dnes je dokonce považována za největší a nejvýznamnější zámecký komplex ve Štýrsku. Pokračujeme na náměstí Glockenspielplatz. Na zdejší zvonkohře třikrát denně ožívají před zraky diváků dvě figurky oblečené do tradičních krojů. Od roku 1905 tančí vysoko nad náměstím v doprovodu nejrůznějších melodií – od tradiční lidové hudby z rakouských Alp přes moderní skladby až po vánoční koledy. Účelem zvonkohry však není jen zábava. Dlouho sloužila také jako marketingový nástroj. Podnikavý výrobce lihovin Gottfried Maurer ji totiž využil k tomu, aby koupěchtivé zákazníky nalákal do svého obchodu na bývalém náměstí Fliegelplatz.
Ale dost bylo historie, nyní je čas navštívit moderní Štýrský Hradec. Jen kousek pěšky od historického centra vás přivítá Kunsthaus Graz. Už z dálky je tento puristický symbol města zcela nepřehlédnutelný. Není divu, jeho svítivě modrá budova totiž výrazně kontrastuje s tradičními střechami z červených tašek. I proto si vysloužil laskavou přezdívku Friendly Alien. Od roku 2003 představuje muzeum moderního umění nejvýznamnější milníky posledních čtyř desetiletí.
Je libo zajímavé architektonické dílo uprostřed přírody? Pak se určitě vyplatí navštívit Murinsel. Tato 47 metrů dlouhá ocelová konstrukce splňuje přesně to, co slibuje. Zabydlela se na řece Mur. Autorem díla je americký umělec Vito Acconci, který si při realizaci vyhrál nejen s jeho umístěním, ale i s jeho designem. Organická silueta s klenutou skleněnou střechou vědomě připomíná smyslný tvar mušle. Není náhodou, že tato moderní stavba ze skla a oceli slouží od roku 2003 jako oblíbené místo pro konání koncertů, divadelních představení a výstav.
