Friendly reception staff and great air conditioning - which was needed in the heatwave.
Mijn kamer en dan vooral de badkamer kon wel eens een opfrissing gebruiken. De douchekop werkt niet goed en na het douchen was steeds de gehele vloer in de badkamer kletsnat. Ook da afstandsbediening van het televisietoestel was stuk. Maar over het algemeen een zeer propere kamer en zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Excellent staff. Rooms and all other areas were spotlessly clean. Very good sleep - quiet room and comfortable bed. The ground floor reception and bar area is very well laid out. Alu is an excellent barman. The room is small but very well laid out. There is no closet and limited space to hang clothes. A small improvement would be to have some English speaking news channels on the TV.
I’m a returning guest. What’s the point in checking in online, paying in full online, only to arrive at your hotel to stand in the general line for 1/2 hour to check in again. There were 4 staff behind the counter but no one was assigned the line for guests who’ve already checked in online. What’s the point of offering online check in if your staff do not accommodate it upon arrival to hotel. There is ZERO Benetton checking in and paying online. I asked your staff member on duty Maximillian why the express check-in line had no staff and he advised me Motel One is working on it. There is nothing to work on. If you have 4 receptionists on duty, 1 should be assigned the pre check in desk. Motel One staff service has lowered since my first stay in Linz 3 years ago. As a tour manager in Europe, I pay attention to service. Regards.
Clean, quiet, spacious room, with all basic modern amenities and an amazing view from the 14th floor. Enjoyed the stay. Proximity to the Hbf is a plus.
It was really disappointing. Cleanliness issue. Sheets were dirty, rugs satined, couldn’t sleep for 2 nights
The best value, service, amenities, and location very near to Wien Hauptbahnhof. All are perfect. The breakfast, however, was too few variety.
everything is good but room size is too small. Other amenities should be available like water, Sleeper, comb, dental kit, saving kit.
A little bit slow process when check-in. Room was excellent.
* Pros: - Very convenient location, directly across from the HBF train station. - Courteous staff. * Cons: - Air conditioning inadequate for rooms during hot weather. Room initially checked-into was 29° C. After 2 hours, room did not cool down at all. Changed rooms and second room was cooler but the air conditioning was unable to cool below 23° C. - Essentially no in-room television entertainment in English.
Essential , confortable and good position
It was overall great experience, however, I wanted to book it as per my profile directly. As I travelled with a kid under twelve, I filled to form on websites, however, I did not received any reply. I booked the room last minute through Booking.
Top Hotel
I see a few issues. Cooling in the room does not meet any acceptable standards. Not having an electrician to check on Sundays does not meet standards. Not keeping a toaster in the breakfast area does not meet standards. We like our bread toasted.

Excellent location, quiet and comfortable room with excellent beds and good AC during the heatwave. Front desk was professional and prompt and the price was excellent. 10/10 for us!
Really great place for exploring the city. I visited during the heatwave and the hotel’s solid air conditioning made a huge difference. As an unexpected bonus, the direct bus to the airport (25 minutes!) stops directly across the street from the hotel.
Really good, room/hotel is quiet and very clean. Only regret is about : • booking a room > first to arrive = first to get a room ; it is not normal if I booked a room to be sent into another "motel one" hotel in the town • missed bacon/scambled eggs for breakfast and full bawl of yogurt (not small individual ones)
Difficult to find and use the staircase. There are people that not like to use the elevator.

Good location. No English TV channels
First impressions were great with free juice for the wait at check in. Room was clean and modern, however the absence of a mini bar fridge was very much missed on a 36 degree day. The hotel is only good for one night stays. No safe, no second bin, I couldn't turn on the standing lamp, I kept hitting my elbow on the wardrobe next to my bed, the air con was unable to be changed to a high fan position even on hot days. Breakfast was the worst, no fresh espresso coffee, I asked if it was possible to get a soft egg but that was not possible. No variety, just cheese, meat and bread. No toaster, pancakes, waffles, different juices. I have better breakfasts at home. Also not sure why you offer espresso coffee if we already picked our coffee from the machines, a juice shot or similar would have made more sense.
Overall a nice museum, but the fact that casting isn’t possible on the TV — with only German‑dubbed channels available — is incomprehensible and not acceptable for an international hotel of this level.

Love the atmosphere and design of the entrance hall and lounge. Room view was stunning. Staff very friendly. I found the One perks a bit useless sadly, although I checked in online, I had to wait at reception due to some issue of the guests before me and there was noone at the One checkin at night. Which is fine, just felt a bit dissapointed since it was advertised as no waiting/fast track. I collected the free drink at the bar the next day and was surprised to receive a glass bottle. great for the environment, heavy for traveling on. I currently have many dietary restrictions and was surprised to find there was no scrambled eggs at breakfast, the first hotel i have stayed at not having scrambled eggs. the staff was friendly about it, but couldnt cook some up, it was the only thing I was looking forward to eating. had a hard boiled egg instead, not the same. First world problems, I am aware, the experience was still good, but as a feedback, I also know of other people really loving hotel scrambled eggs, I would love to see those or be able to order them at least.
That was my third visit in your hotel. First time I was asked to pay for the room booked from me by the company Cyan Security Group. OK. Before my second visit I asked my company if I have to pay for my stay, they said that NO, that all is completed. When I arrived to the reception desk I got to know that I have to pay for my second stay. It took me about hour to explain that I have been told by my company that no action on my side it needed. I was showing the emails and was calling my company. The people working on the reception walking here and there consulting between each other and at certain point they said that all is clear and they have found the credit card details of my company Cyan and they said the they are really sorry about the situation and all is clear now and it will never happen again. BTW they more people from our company came that day the your hotel and no one had such situation only me cause I was first that arrived. The I visited your hotel last Tuesday, and guess what, all that happened again, I have been told that I have to pay and explain the way I did lat time, and again after this time half a hour I got apologies that all is OK and it will never happen again. My colleague from the same company arrived 2 hours later and said that all was totally OK for him. Honestly, I think the only way this won't happen again is if I just don't show up next time! We took a bigger room than usual and did not regret it. The view was wonderful and the room was double the size of a regular room. I don't understand why towels are changed every day. Not very ecofriendly.

4 nachten verbleven. Perfecte locatie voor een stedentrip. Uitstekend ontbijt, mooie inrichting, gezellige bar en goede bedden. Kamer op de 12e verdieping was te warm en kleiner dan op de foto op de website. Bankje op de kamer had geen toegevoegde waarde, behalve als kapstok te fungeren. Er mochten wel meer kleerhangers in de kamer zijn. Helaas wordt er gerookt bij de hotelingang. Geen fijne binnenkomst in het hotel.
Aardig personeel, goed ontbijt. Badkamer zag er schoon en netjes uit. Puntje van kritiek is dat de kamer erg warm was.
Uitstekende service aan de balie. Prettige kamer en een goed ontbijt.
Goede schone kamers met goede bedden. Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Goede ligging. Juiste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
Gezellig hotel in het centrum van Wenen
Het is onbegrijpelijk dat er op de kamers geen plaats voorzien is voor een reiskoffer.
Al meerdere keren in een Motel One verbleven en altijd een zeer prettige ervaring. Kamers hebben alles wat je nodig hebt, zijn schoon en ook een prima werkende airco. En dat was heel fijn tijdens de hittegolf. Ontbijt uitgebreid en alles voldoende. Door de grote aanloop van gasten is er te weinig tijd genomen om de broodjes goed af te bakken, die waren net goed genoeg gebakken. Verder heel goed!
Ontbijt is helaas onder de maat, zeker wat betreft de prijsstelling. Kwaliteit kan in deze echt beter.
Personeel is vriendelijk, deskundig en voorkomend. De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en comfortabel. De badkamer is een beetje krap, maar wel praktisch. Het ontbijt is zeer goed, zowel de keuze als de kwaliteit.

Dit hotel is handig als je vroeg met de trein mee moet. Verder is de omgeving niet zo aantrekkelijk. Voor een bezoek aan Wenen zou ik een andere vestiging van motel one kiezen. De bar is ook minder gezellig dan dat we gewend zijn.het is er te donker en het meibilair niet comfortabel.
Heerlijk hotel, top personeel. Kamers, klein maar fijn. Alles mooi en schoon voorhanden.
Prima hotel op een perfecte locatie, maar Motel One heeft echt een probleem met de klimaatbeheersing. De klimaatbeheersing blies alleen (zeer) warme lucht, waardoor het veel te warm werd in de kamer. Desgevraagd gaf de receptioniste aan dat dit de bedoeling is en dat ik het raam moest openen om de temperatuur te laten dalen. Waarom het bij een buitentemperatuur van rond het vriespunt niet mogelijk is de binnentemperatuur met behulp van het ventilatiesysteem te reguleren tussen 18 en 22 graden, blijft raadselachtig. Mijn nachtrust was hierdoor slecht. Ofwel het is (bij gesloten raam en ingeschakelde ventilatie) veel te warm, ofwel het is (bij geopend raam) te lawaaiig, ofwel er ontstaat (bij gesloten raam en uitgeschakelde ventilatie) een tekort aan zuurstof. Ook de mobiele ontvangst in mijn kamer was onvoldoende.
Locatie prima. Check in medewerker erg onvriendelijk. Gaf sleutel en dat was het, zei verder niets. Ontbijt prima. Aardig personeel bij ontbijt. Check out ook goed, dames vriendelijk en bagage opslag geen probleem. Kamer warm en minimalistisch ongezellig ingericht met IKEA stijl kast. Voor 1 nacht voorafgaand aan treinreis prima maar geen hotel om langer te blijven. Obers in bar in de avond ook nogal afstandelijk.

Hotel Wenen-Hauptbahnhof
Zodra je ons Motel One Wenen-Hauptbahnhof binnenkomt, heb je aan de receptie een prachtig panorama over de stad. Vanaf de bovenste verdiepingen heb je zelfs een live panorama over de hoofdstad van Oostenrijk. Ook in de One Lounge verwijzen wij op creatieve wijze naar lokale thema's. Tijdens het ontbijt word je ondergedompeld in de wereld van 1854, toen de Semmeringbahn werd geopend. De bar is versierd met decoraties in de stijl van de artistieke beweging Wiener Werkstätte en ook onze designhighlights van Moroso, Baxter en Jan Kath verwijzen naar deze beweging.
Een absolute eyecatcher is de afbeelding van het nabijgelegen slot Belvedere die over meerdere verdiepingen loopt. Dit kasteel ligt overigens op wandelafstand en heeft een prachtige tuin om lekker in te wandelen en een indruk op te doen van het kasteeldomein. Andere bezienswaardigheden in het centrum, zoals het staatsoperagebouw, het Museumsquartier en de Stephansdom, zijn eveneens goed bereikbaar vanaf het hotel.
