No bottle water in the room, and the reception is not friendly and didnt offer water
Disappointed. A lot of building works going on, I couldn't open my window as that is where everyone congregated to have a cigarette break. I had a view of the waste skips for the building works currently going on in the hotel. The price was way too high for the building works going on and my room not being cleaned at all. The bed was made once in my 6 day stay, the dead fly on the window remained there until the day I left.... Really disappointed for a MotelOne, the others I have stayed at have always been great and friendly service. Unfortunately this was the odd one out. I would not stay in this MotelOne again. It was also noisy from early morning when work began.
It was as expected. Only issue I had was trying to make payment on your website on the day of check-in before arriving. Did not work. Had to call hotel and was reassured that bookijg is guaranteed till arrival.
Perfect
Cozy hotel and bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Nice breakfast buffet. Close to trian og other transportation. The only downside was the bed, which was not that comfortable (hard).
A lovely quiet room on a high floor (as requested, thank you). We liked the new style, more neutral and elegant, and good to be in a newly-decorated hotel. Reception staff could be more welcoming!
Please repair the broken parking slides, remove the old furniture from the garage or cover them with something. Mineralwater for 6.00 EUR is quite too expensive!
We had a great stay. The team overall was very friendly and helpful. The arrival experience was tricky as I arrived a day later. The evening team struggled, but the morning team was very efficient in sorting everything out. especially the breakfast team was always very eager to help. Jaquenline stood out with her great personality. We had a great stay overall. thank you!
Good location and super location for the U-bahn. Small room but fully adequate for a couple of nights.

Great stay in Hamburg! Considering the rush-hour for breakfast, we only had to wait a few minutes. On arriving, we received a double room without extrabed (we were two adults and one child). Motel One gave us a solution by providing us two rooms for the first night. The following morning we received a room for three people, as requested. So Motel One tried to give us a solution at any moment.

Overall very good but busy hotel
Decent hotel but expensive breakfast for what you get. No kettle, fridge or water in the room. Unsatisfactory wait to check in (25 minutes) after a long day of travel.
Staff were friendly. Location was excellent.
The lobby is really nice and cosy, breakfast selection is decent. The rooms are very small, AC is due for a refit. It was impossible to control the temperature in the room, we had to leave the window open over night because the air would get extremely stale with two persons sleeping in this small room, the temperature fluctuated wildly over night from warm to cold. Ventilation in the bathroom didn't work effectively so we had to leave the door and window open to clear the moisture after showers. We got booked into a room equipped for only one guest and had to ask twice to get a second set of blankets and towels because the staff was too busy. I can live with these small details but expect better at the pricepoint. The staff was welcoming and did their best to make our stay comfortable.

We had a nice stay in your hotel. I have one point to let you know: you ask ,for for reasons of the environment, to reuse towels and give the opportunity to not-cleaning the room, but it does not really work. Our room was cleaned and towels were changed even if we put the “please no cleaning” - annoncement on the door. And after 2days the “no-cleaning”-hanger disappeared so we could not ask for it anymore.

The hotel was quite old and the room was quite uncomfortable (too little space, no night tables). The stuff forgot to put blankets & towels. On top of that, overbooked hotel caused lots of traffic jams in ELevator & Kitchen.
Due to a malfunction having to wait an hour for check in. Something I think could be a better plan for.
I was given a room which was already booked. When I entered the room there were bags of the person who was still staying for the night. Then I had to go to the reception to get another room. Other than this, evertything went well.

We liked to live in your Hotel! Clean, comfortable, friendly. One question, why do you not have rooms with two separate beds? It would be better to have more different breakfast options (for example-eggs, scrumble, omlet)
The hotel has a great location. My room on the 17th floor had a wonderful view of the city. The room could use some updating. The air conditioning was a little dated and didn't cool the room adequately. I would add more savory items to the breakfast buffet, like sausages, scrambled eggs, etc.
TV didn’t work but otherwise, as usual, good value for money and the perfect business hotel. A fridge (empty) would have been useful..
Everything was satisfactory, the room was quiet.

On the first floor you can hear the bar/lounge music 24/7. I asked ind the reception when the turné the music off, the said never. I didn't chose my room or floor.
Ez check in. House cleaning did a great job! Breakfast as always great and ez to find from Hauptbahnof.

Great staff, clean rooms, nice buffet with vegan options. There was a good deal days before trip for 96€. Thats great. Location is a bit far from center but walking distance to Alster/Lange Reihe. Rooms with xx01 or xx02 have beautiful view of city.

We waren in de ochtend aangekomen toen waren er 2 mannelijke medewerkers daar aanwezig die totaal geen zin hadden om ons te helpen, omdat we geen creditcard bij zich hadden. Een kale man en een Turkse man polat heette hij volgens mij. Toen gingen we weg en n later kwamen we terug om toch nog wat te gaan vragen toen was een medewerker Jana heette zij als het goed is. Ze was zooo aardig ging ons helpen creditcard was niet eens nodig en ze ging ook nog met ons meedenken hoe we het beste kunnen boeken. Echt een top vrouw.
Keurig kamer, netjes, douche kan kamer 711 wat te koud. Thermostaat kraan werkt niet goed?
Allereerst een prettige manier van reserveren. Dit verliep via de mail omdat we met onze 4 kinderen 2 kamers dicht bij elkaar wilden reserveren. Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen we 2 geschakelde kamers aan het einde van een gang. Ideaal om met ons gezin te verblijven. De kamers waren heel schoon en de bedden uitstekend van kwaliteit. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid. De sfeer van de lobby/ontbijtruimte was prettig met veel groen buiten. Ook de locatie ten opzichte van het centrum was perfect. Kortom, een aanrader.
Ondanks de enorme drukte bleef het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Zeer kleine kamer en een verschrikkelijk bed, je rolt er zo vanaf.

De kamers zijn steeds kleiner tov oudere MotelOne hotels. Ontbreek waterkoker om thee koffie te maken. Voor deze prijzen mag het wel zijn. Veel te druk bij ontbijt. Lange wachttijden!

Hotel Hamburg-Alster
In de scènewijk St. Georg bevindt zich ons voordelige designhotel dat helemaal in het teken staat van de nabijgelegen Alster. De Binnen- en Außenalster bieden niet alleen plezier en ontspanning voor zeilers, kanovaarders en roeiers, de omliggende parken en jugendstilvilla's zijn ook voor wie niet van water houdt heel aantrekkelijk om lekker te flaneren en te ontspannen. Aan onze receptie leer je echter eerst de winterse kant van Hamburg kennen: een volksfeest op de dichtgevroren Alster bewijst dat het in de Hanzestad echt koud kan zijn. Lamellen van notenhout aan het plafond van de bar verwijzen naar de zachtgolvende Alster en accessoires zoals zeilboten, bootlichten en schipperspetten maken het maritieme designplaatje van het hotel compleet.
In het Motel One Hamburg-Alster overnacht je in een van de meest geliefde wooncomplexen van de stad. Stijlvolle straatkroegen, boetieken en niet in het minste de oever van de zijrivier van de Elbe nodigen uit tot relaxt slenteren.
Dankzij zijn centrale ligging zijn alle bezienswaardigheden van de stad vanaf het hotel gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Zo ligt de Mönckebergstraße, een van de belangrijkste winkelstraten van de Hanzestad, op maar een paar minuutjes wandelen. Het metro- en tramstation Berliner Tor en het metrostation Lohmühlenstraße zorgen voor de aansluiting op het openbaar vervoersnetwerk en liggen allemaal direct voor het hotel. En voor wie met de trein komt, is het misschien ook handig om te weten dat het centraal station van Hamburg op maar een paar 100 meter van het hotel ligt.
