I was staying for whole working week and from those 2 days of suffering and last two without cleaning. Well; this for sure could be better.

Room and service was good, but the breakfast experience was bad. Breakfast itself was good but the first morning it was really hard to find a place to sit, the second morning it took 20 minutes to find a place and then 15 min in the queue to get toppings etc. (and sitting for breakfast in these low chairs in inconvenient).

I enjoyed my stay, the room was comfortable. The bed was very good and I had a good nights rest. The breakfast was not too extensive, so a few more options like scrambled eggs etc. would have been nice.

There was no iron at the hotel, no ironing board. That was strange. I asked the staff, and they said there was none. The bathroom had no air conditioner or fan. There was not even a slipper in the room. No water, no coffee in the room. There could be free coffee at the hotel entrance.

Motel One Hamburg am Michel: extremely loud construction work from 7 AM. I was visiting Hamburg for my agency party, which went on until 2 AM. So the hotel had one purpose for me: to give me a place to rest and sleep on Saturday night and morning. My plan was to sleep until checkout and then take the train back home with a fresh head. But Motel One had another plan for me. At 7 AM on Saturday morning, I was woken up by terribly loud construction work right under my window in the courtyard. I tried to reach reception, which claims on the website to be available 24/7, but no one answered until after 9 AM. They said they would speak to the construction workers and ask them to keep the noise down on a Saturday, but nothing changed. When checking out, I told the staff that I find it absolutely unacceptable not to inform guests about ongoing construction work in advance. If you know there will be loud construction directly outside the rooms from 7 AM, you need to be transparent about it on your website and during the booking process. Guess what happened? Right. Nothing. Today, I double-checked the website and even went through the booking process again to see whether they had added a warning anywhere. They hadn’t. That’s why I’m going to do it myself across every possible review channel. I think it’s absolutely cruel to knowingly sell rooms without warning guests about something that can completely disrupt the main purpose of staying at a hotel: sleeping. My Saturday was ruined because I got four hours of sleep instead of the eight I had planned. I never want to stay somewhere that hides information about something that directly affects the basic experience you’re paying for.

Overall our stay was pleasant as usual but a few times now we had to ask for our free water otherwise we are not offered usually. It would be nice if you can keep it in mind.

Good location, nice staff and room. The only things I would point out are that for breakfast many of the tables and chairs are too low to sit and eat at. And the lack of any tea, coffee making facilities in the rooms is a shame.

Everything was very good in the hotel, very quiet rooms with air condition, everything in the room very well planned and fresh. However we missed water boiler in the room, perhaps not common in Germany? Also would have been good to get real glasses in the bathroom instead of paper cups. The tables in the reception area was very low and it was a bit difficult to dit there and eat breakfast. Theses are minor details. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Heerlijk lang weekend verbleven, service was keurig en goed, ontbijt was ook prima. Ik had het wel fijn gevonden als er op de kamer een koffiezetapparaat en koelkastje was. Dat geeft net wat meer comfort. Zeker voor de prijs die we voor de kamer (met uitzicht) hebben betaald. We zaten op de 9e verdieping. Verder keurig verzorgd, parkeren onder het hotel was ook perfect. Zou zeker hier terug komen en adviseren aan anderen.

I had requested that my room be cleaned daily, but it wasn't. They didn't change the towels either, so I had to go to the front desk every day to get new ones. Also, there were dead bugs left lying around the room.

The experience was generally good, only the Special One with balcony was a bit of a let down. The furniture was pretty worn down, the windows untidy from bird feces, that admittedly that might have been bad luck/timing. Anyway, I don't know if I see a point of paying extra for special one.

There was no option to check-in earlier that 15:00. Also I did not get my free bottle of water which should be included in my membership. I did not feel treated differently as a member vs. any other hotel guest.

We zijn ontzettend blij dat we dit hotel hebben uitgekozen, perfecte locatie, ideaal om te parkeren onder het hotel. De kamer heeft alles wat je wenst, enkel hangt de kleine spiegel wel heel laag, moest bukken om mijn makeup te doen. Verder geen opmerkingen.

Am often in Motel One. I like the design, the concept and the sustainable background. I don't enjoy the reduced space available for breakfast in some motels, nor the chaos at peak times. The breakfast is fine, but a bit more variety and a water fountain to fill up one's bottle would be appreciated. I only saw one in Berlin, in none other location.

Incredibly expensive for the room size we got! 280EUR, this is crazy. You should control your booking algorithm better. Yes, it was Hafengeburtstag, but it turned out that we could have booked Hotel Atlantic for just 40EUR more in the same period.....

Very friendly personnel. Very clean overall. Very easy and quick check-in and check-out. In case you visit for business, the free WiFi is performing super fast and good. Vegan options at the breakfast buffet, even though the buffet wasn’t too big. Very health oriented. Cozy lounge & bar area even though it is at the entrance of the hotel.

The services are generally good, and all the employees were kind, friendly, and professional. However, it is extremely expensive—both the room (I paid €205) and the breakfast—and for a €17 breakfast, I would expect a wider selection of food. Therefore, my score is low due to the price.

Mooi hotel en ligging. Jammer van slecht engels sprekend en engels begrijpend personeel. Het parkeren was een drama. Bij aankomst kun je je auto niet kwijt bij het hotel om eerst naar de receptie te gaan en te vragen naar hoe het werkt met de parking. Het is beter vooraf meer informatie te geven hoe het precies werkt met de parking. We hebben tussentijds de auto uit de parking gehaald om rond te rijden in Hamburg. We kwamen zaterdagavond terug en er was geen parkeerplek meer in de parking. We kregen bij de receptie een papier met mogelijke parkeerplaatsen en moesten rondrijden tot we een plek vonden.

Raar dat erop ingespeeld wordt om uit milieu reden de kamer niet meer gedaan kan worden. Roept bij mij schuldgevoel op terwijl volgens mij meer om kostenbesparing gaat. Als de kamerprijs met €20,00 naar beneden zal gaan zou ik dat begrijpen.

Het was heel erg koud in de kamer en niet warm te krijgen . ook niet met de ventilator op de hoogste stand.

Het verblijf bij motel one was uitstekend. Onze dochter werd ziek tijdens het verblijf. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en heeft ons goed geholpen.
