I was staying for whole working week and from those 2 days of suffering and last two without cleaning. Well; this for sure could be better.
Room and service was good, but the breakfast experience was bad. Breakfast itself was good but the first morning it was really hard to find a place to sit, the second morning it took 20 minutes to find a place and then 15 min in the queue to get toppings etc. (and sitting for breakfast in these low chairs in inconvenient).
I enjoyed my stay, the room was comfortable. The bed was very good and I had a good nights rest. The breakfast was not too extensive, so a few more options like scrambled eggs etc. would have been nice.

There was no iron at the hotel, no ironing board. That was strange. I asked the staff, and they said there was none. The bathroom had no air conditioner or fan. There was not even a slipper in the room. No water, no coffee in the room. There could be free coffee at the hotel entrance.
Motel One Hamburg am Michel: extremely loud construction work from 7 AM. I was visiting Hamburg for my agency party, which went on until 2 AM. So the hotel had one purpose for me: to give me a place to rest and sleep on Saturday night and morning. My plan was to sleep until checkout and then take the train back home with a fresh head. But Motel One had another plan for me. At 7 AM on Saturday morning, I was woken up by terribly loud construction work right under my window in the courtyard. I tried to reach reception, which claims on the website to be available 24/7, but no one answered until after 9 AM. They said they would speak to the construction workers and ask them to keep the noise down on a Saturday, but nothing changed. When checking out, I told the staff that I find it absolutely unacceptable not to inform guests about ongoing construction work in advance. If you know there will be loud construction directly outside the rooms from 7 AM, you need to be transparent about it on your website and during the booking process. Guess what happened? Right. Nothing. Today, I double-checked the website and even went through the booking process again to see whether they had added a warning anywhere. They hadn’t. That’s why I’m going to do it myself across every possible review channel. I think it’s absolutely cruel to knowingly sell rooms without warning guests about something that can completely disrupt the main purpose of staying at a hotel: sleeping. My Saturday was ruined because I got four hours of sleep instead of the eight I had planned. I never want to stay somewhere that hides information about something that directly affects the basic experience you’re paying for.
Property was clean and staff was very accommodating.

Overall our stay was pleasant as usual but a few times now we had to ask for our free water otherwise we are not offered usually. It would be nice if you can keep it in mind.
Good location, nice staff and room. The only things I would point out are that for breakfast many of the tables and chairs are too low to sit and eat at. And the lack of any tea, coffee making facilities in the rooms is a shame.

Everything was very good in the hotel, very quiet rooms with air condition, everything in the room very well planned and fresh. However we missed water boiler in the room, perhaps not common in Germany? Also would have been good to get real glasses in the bathroom instead of paper cups. The tables in the reception area was very low and it was a bit difficult to dit there and eat breakfast. Theses are minor details. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Motel One navstevuji pravidelne a vzdy bylo vse na 1. V hamburku bohuzel ne - po celou dobu na pokoji nefongovalo wifi a diky tomu mi vznikl vazny pracovni problem! Wifi fungovalo dole v loby, na chodbe, ale v pokoji 649 ne. Jsem z toho nastvany a mrzi me to. Cistota koupelny hlavne sprchove hlavice a jeho drzaku, taky nebyla 100%

I had requested that my room be cleaned daily, but it wasn't. They didn't change the towels either, so I had to go to the front desk every day to get new ones. Also, there were dead bugs left lying around the room.

The experience was generally good, only the Special One with balcony was a bit of a let down. The furniture was pretty worn down, the windows untidy from bird feces, that admittedly that might have been bad luck/timing. Anyway, I don't know if I see a point of paying extra for special one.

There was no option to check-in earlier that 15:00. Also I did not get my free bottle of water which should be included in my membership. I did not feel treated differently as a member vs. any other hotel guest.

Am often in Motel One. I like the design, the concept and the sustainable background. I don't enjoy the reduced space available for breakfast in some motels, nor the chaos at peak times. The breakfast is fine, but a bit more variety and a water fountain to fill up one's bottle would be appreciated. I only saw one in Berlin, in none other location.
Incredibly expensive for the room size we got! 280EUR, this is crazy. You should control your booking algorithm better. Yes, it was Hafengeburtstag, but it turned out that we could have booked Hotel Atlantic for just 40EUR more in the same period.....
Poor breakfast. Lifts broken and had to go up and down 8 floors. Bad attitude staff.
Very friendly personnel. Very clean overall. Very easy and quick check-in and check-out. In case you visit for business, the free WiFi is performing super fast and good. Vegan options at the breakfast buffet, even though the buffet wasn’t too big. Very health oriented. Cozy lounge & bar area even though it is at the entrance of the hotel.
The services are generally good, and all the employees were kind, friendly, and professional. However, it is extremely expensive—both the room (I paid €205) and the breakfast—and for a €17 breakfast, I would expect a wider selection of food. Therefore, my score is low due to the price.
fire alarm went off at 7am in the morning and we got evacuated. my room was left unlocked by the cleaner and door left open and my key crad didnt work on my door on the 2nd day. i also wasnt given water on arrival when my colleague was. also no conditioner in the bathroom...
Very happy with our stay wit a good price/service ratio. Only downsides are the long waiting times before elevators and to have a place at breakfast
The check-in was very fast. The receptionist was very friendly and also offered to print our concert tickets for the afternoon. The staff, in general, was very friendly and more relaxed. I liked it. I am not very fond of the pretentious formality that is very common among big hotels. The room was surprisingly spacious (always compared with Motel One standards—for example, in Motel One Berlin Hackescher Markt, the room was extremely small). The cleanliness was good as well. The location was very convenient. I also liked the reception area. The bar was very welcoming, I suppose that's why it was always busy. I found the value for money ratio quite good. I still believe that the price is on the higher end for what is provided, on the other hand, it is one of the most inexpensive and decent choices in Hamburg.

Zimmer gut, Rezeption - nun ja
My booking was made by a colleague and she entered her name instead of mine. The two receptionists had trouble checking me in, despite me presenting the booking confirmation email with the reference code. It took about 10–15 minutes, which I found to long and annoying. I am used to checking in swiftly at Motel One, but this time I found the experience poor. Both of them weren't rude, but not very friendly either. I would have expected some sort of explanation or excuse.

Good size rooms but a lift was broken so had to wait a while to access my floor.
Had no WiFi in first room we were given. When I informed management of this issue they quickly assigned us another room that had WiFi.

Room very clean and quiet. But cold. Breakfast area (even though I went during the recommended early slot) super packed. Only one elevator was working, which meant a lot of waiting.

V našem designovém hotelu nedaleko historické dominanty Hamburku, kostela svatého Michaela, čerpáme inspiraci ze zvláštního vztahu tohoto hanzovního města k legendárním Beatles. Své první velké koncerty odehráli slavní „Brouci“ ve Star-Clubu v ulici Große Freiheit, což připomíná originální nápis na našem Star-Club baru.
