Absolute perfect accommodation very helpful and friendly staff
The rooms were very hot. You need to invest in black out curtains and definitely in a better AC system.

It is great hotel with all the amenities. The staff is friendly. My only negative is that I would have liked the A/C to be colder, but that could simply be an American thing.

We had a great stay at your motel. Very clean, great facilities and great service. Special mention to Anton, your barman. Very hard worker and his ability and attention made our stay memorable.

Room was small, not much living space. Came w/ a small desk, no where to lounge. Bare minimum necessities. Location was great, room rate was fair, overnight parking was expensive.

My stay at Motel One was pleasant amid a relaxed hotel atmosphere
The pricing policy is cleverly organized. The room was clean and the breakfast was adequate. The staff was polite. Location of you Hotel is perfect.There are two areas where I would recommend improving your service - We had problems with the payment at the hotel reception upon arrival. Our credit cards were rejected by one terminal, three different cards, two of which finally worked at another terminal. Later in the city we paid with these cards without any problems. The staff was very helpful, Please check if other guests had have the same problems. - The quality of the bed mattress was not good. In room 512 my wife slept on the right side. Unfortunately the mattress was worn out and sagged - she woke up with back pain and this spoiled her mood during our stay in Munich. We reported the problem to the reception upon our departure.

Very clean, well located hotel at a very good price point
The location is great, literally a one minute walk from Sendlinger Tor metro and less than 10 minutes to Marienplatz. I found it ironic about sustainability and wanting to save water as our bathroom sink didn't have a plug that could be closed. So when having to shave, I was actually wasting more water than needed if I had a standard sink with a plug that closes to allow me to fill up the sink. The air con made a noise but that was it, it didn't actually do anything at all. We had gone to the reception initially to inquire about getting it to switch on as it seemed faulty and were told there were no other rooms to move us to and to simply put it to maximum fan. So in general, we didn't sleep great owing to the heat and the window being open just echoed the noise from the courtyard. I've stayed here previously nearly ten years ago and we didn't encounter the same issues, so just putting it down to the room.

This was a Short overnight stay but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed for 2 nights last Saturday and Sunday. We found the air conditioning wasn't working on the Saturday night so had a terrible sleep due to the temperature in the room. We tried to open the window but the noise from loud music in the street stopped us from sleeping. We both had very little sleep due to this. We told the reception staff about the issue with the air con and they told me they would have it checked. When we came back on the Sunday evening, it still wasnt working. thankfully we could open the window as the street was quieter. This led to us being very tired for our activities on our fully day on the Sunday.
Location is really superb - Its a say 12 min walk from the main train station and 10 minute walk from the S bahn which goes to and from the Airport. Its just at the edge of the centre itself so we didn't need to use any public transport or taxis - its all very walkable. The Road on which hotel located is very quiet. Breakfast is very good and starts at 6am Mon to Friday which is excellent. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and quiet but small - not unexpected for a city hotel this close to the centre. Staff very friendly. Hotel bar not huge but very relaxing when we had a drink there. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.
Motel One Sendlingen Tor is a nice hotel with modern facilities. Rooms are rather small but have all basics which is standard for the chain. I was disappointed this time because I was given a room at the first floor despite the fact that I had asked for a high floor room upfront to avoid noise from the street. This is also indicated in the preferences in my membership profile. The staff used the excuse that “single rooms” are all located in the first floor. However this was just made up because all the rooms have the same size and many have double beds for single use on other floors as well. Pity because I am a loyal and recurrent customer for the chain and I will think twice before booking again. Also the blinds in the room do not block the light that enters through the window in the morning as my room was looking at the east.
A very centrally located hotel, 10 minutes on foot from the city centre. The reception area is welcoming however the rooms are somewhat spartan in appearance. Front desk is friendly and helpful although adequate knowledge of English will certainly help when communicating. Most of the room instructions are in German which is not helpful for those not knowing the language. Airconditioning is centrally controlled which once again is not helpful if you are feeling hot or cold.

Great location - easily walkable to everything. Beautiful lobby and comfortable rooms on a quiet street. Staff were incredibly helpful and nice.
Your customer since 2014, except during the coronavirus period, I spend about 5 days twice a year to relax. This time, I was assigned a room on the first floor, more suitable for business purposes, including cleaning schedules. I booked for other days and, while staying in the same room, I arranged it for the May stay, with more experienced front office staff
Thanks for the last time. Otherwise everything went as expected, except that we didn’t sleep well because doors slamming kept us awake in the evening and in the morning. I hope more attention will be paid to soundproofing and door noise. Regards, Petri Peutere
Its always the same with Motel one Hotels. Karlsruhe and Munich offer parking space but there is none available for one week. Has to go to community spot and pay an ridicolous amount of money. Business people need their car, they quite often on tour and have to go on different places during hotel staying. And we all know how bad the community trains are. Hotel was clean, Breakfast should have scrambled eggs or at least offer the service to make some.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, bed was so comfortable and the view was amazing from the balcony. Worth the money! Breakfast has gluten free options and great variety in foods.
Zeer fijn en mooi hotel in het midden van München. Zeer goed personeel. Ontbijt viel tegen. Geen spiegeleieren of roerei, geen spek. Dat is wel jammer.

Heerlijk hotel, lekker dicht bij centrum! Uitstekend concept, prima kwaliteit voor acceptabele prijs. Bed aan gedeelte bij zitstoel wat ingezakt! Lounge voor ontbijt aan krappe kant.
Sauber, zentral gelegen
Prima hotel. Mooie ligging, centraal. Alles mooi schoon. En zeer vriendelijk personeel! Dat laatste is het allerbelangrijkste. Vooral de jongen bij het ontbijt die steeds kwam vragen of we nog iets extra's wilde zoals bv een sapje of een espresso. Zeer betrokken en heel attent. Ook de mensen bij de receptie waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Kamers aan de kleine kant, locatie in het centrum, personeel zeer vriendelijk.

perfecte locatie maar erg kleine kamer en absoluut veel te duur (€250 per nacht). Voor een prijs van €150 was het goed geweest.

Netjes, schoon en comfortabel en gezellige bar. Goeie bedden. Receptie zeer vriendelijk echter de heren achter de bar waren beide dagen kortaf , ongastvrij en onaardig. Erg jammer van de sfeer
Perfecte locatie! Daarom voor dit hotel gekozen en eerlijk gezegd overtrof hotel verwachtingen. Centrale ruimte met bar, lounge en binnentuin met terras zorgt voor gezellige binnenkomst. Vriendelijk personeel, zowel bij receptie als ontbijt. Kamer met goede airco maar ook optie raam te openen. Erg goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.
Goede kamer, schoon, prima personeel en goede locatie. Maar een echte drama airco in kamer en bar. De kamer kwam niet beneden de 26 graden.Als dat goed was hadden jullie een 10 gehad

Hotel München-Sendlinger Tor
De Sendlinger Tor is een van de weinige overblijfselen van de oude stadsmuren rondom München en markeert de zuidelijke ingang naar de historische oude binnenstad van de metropool aan de Isar. Het design van ons Motel One München-Sendlinger Tor is geïnspireerd op de Beierse kastelen van Ludwig II. Zo vind je in onze One Lounge een relaxzone die de oude tijden combineert met moderne elementen: een hoge met velours beklede sofa van Creazioni en keramische tafelpoten van Studio Kalff verwijzen naar de pracht en praal van het verleden, zonder het tijdloze design tekort te doen. Tijdens een gezond biologisch ontbijt met het schilderachtige Neuschwanstein op de achtergrond tank je energie voor de dag en kom je helemaal in de sfeer door het stijlvolle maar toch speelse design.
In het Motel One München-Sendlinger Tor overnacht je dichtbij het centrum. Het hotel vormt het ideale vertrekpunt om de stadskern te ontdekken. Op enkele honderden meters van het hotel vind je de Marienplatz en het Rathaus en de op het plein uitmondende Kaufingerstraße. Een paar zijstraten verder vind je nog andere bezienswaardigheden zoals de Viktualienmarkt, de Frauenkirche en het Hofbräuhaus. En nog iets verder ligt het centraal station van München, dat een directe verbinding heeft naar de luchthaven. Meteen naast het hotel ligt het metrostation Sendlinger Tor. Wil je de beurs van München bezoeken, neem dan lijn U2 die je direct naar de beurslocatie brengt. Neuschwanstein is trouwens ook ideaal voor een daguitstap. Zo kun jij je een beeld vormen van dit koninklijke kasteel.
