Op zich een prima hotel, locatie is op loopafstand van het centrum. Gezellige lobby, vriendelijk personeel. In verband met omstandigheden moesten we eerder weg. Helaas werkte de organisatie van MotelOne niet mee om onze reservering een dag in te korten, dat is erg kortzichtig
Fijn en net hotel, aardig en kundig personeel
Great hotel and amazing service! Don't have much to say. I rated 9 instead of 10 because I would like a few more amenities, like a small fridge and an iron.
Very disappointing stay. We had booked three nights and, at check-in, specifically confirmed and paid for parking for the following two nights. The next day, when we arrived at the parking entrance, we waited around 15 minutes with no response. After going back to the front desk, we were told the parking was fully booked and that we should find somewhere else ourselves. This was completely unacceptable, because we had already paid for it. Only after we showed the payment record did the staff change their explanation and say that there was in fact a space, but in the neighboring IHK parking area rather than the hotel’s own parking. This should have been explained clearly from the start, instead of causing confusion and stress. It was already after 8 pm, and as tourists unfamiliar with Munich, being told to go and find parking on our own was extremely irresponsible. The front desk staff were unprofessional and poorly trained. Even a small promised benefit, a complimentary bottle of water for registered members, was not given at check-in and only provided after we asked the next day. This was supposed to be part of our honeymoon, and the hotel’s handling of the situation completely ruined our mood. I would not recommend this hotel.
Fijne rolstoel toegankelijke kamer!
Small but nicely furnished room, bathroom with sufficiently large shower cabinet. The fan never shut off though. My room was quiet but a colleague of mine had his room to the street which was kind of noisy. The reception staff was very friendly, the waiter in the breakfast room was not really si. He was too busy having to take care of all the tables. Also, there were not enough tables during rush time and the tables were too close together making it difficult to squeeze through to sit down. The choice at breakfast was plentiful, excellent rolls and fruit salad, no eggs and bacon though.
Everything was perfect, as always during my stays in Motel One hotels.

nice hotel to stay: very comfortable, very well located, very ( I would even say extremely ) friendly staff, very clean, relatively good breakfast.
Value for money. High quality. Competent, polite and service-minded personel. Functional rooms. Hyggelig bar and lounge. Soft Walls in Car-Parking is very nice.
The hotel room was clean and big enough for one person. The Hotel is located very close to the Munich Ostbahnhof- which is great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms did not have a kettle or a small coffee machine. It would be better to have atleast a kettle and some coffee/ tea sachets so that the customer does not have to go to the lobby to buy a coffee/tea, after a long day of travel.
The only thing missing was daily water supply to the room. Otherwise, everything was good: cleanliness, environment, transportation, etc.

Great hotel! Very small rooms for 2 people. No refrigerator... Also no air blowing in my room. Had to sleep with the window open for cool air! Staff is EXCELLENT and VERY helpful!! A++ to staff and amenities!! Overall very good stay!

The hotel is clean and very well located being less than 10 minutes from Munich East station. The room, although relatively basic (as to be expected) was a good size, plenty of electrical outlets for charging and the bed was comfortable. Again, good size bathroom with decent shower. All the staff we met were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again. I have only marked down the room as it would have been lovely to have a kettle in the room. Also, as we came during Oktoberfest the room was a bit more expensive, but this is to be expected.
We loved this hotel. It's new and clean. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. All the staff are very friendly. The 24-hour lounge is a great place to relax and have a drink. The delicious breakfast has a huge assortment of fresh foods - no processed items. There's ample seating and the staff keep it fully stocked and fresh until the breakfast service concludes. The location of the hotel is great as well. The Ostbahnhof station is down the street, and you can walk or take public transpo to many of the central sites and neighborhoods. The windows open, which is a nice plus. Location is quiet, even the rooms facing the street.

Prima kamer, lekker rustig ondanks de ligging aan een drukke straat. Alleen de airco maakte veel lawaai en was niet in te stellen. Prima parkeerplaats in de garage en zeer behulpzame medewerkers!
I did not have a good experience with the hotel for the following reasons: The rooms do not have air conditioner system, only central ventilation. As a result, the room was too hot and the windows had to be open during the night for fresh air. The rooms do not have mini fridge or coffee machine. As a result, if you want coffee, you need to pay 4.50 euros at the bar or if you want to store food/drinks in the fridge, you need to ask the reception to do it for you. The cleaning service could also be better. If you don’t place the trash inside the only mini trash can in the bathroom, they do not remove the remaining trash bags in the home - which were left separate in the corner of the room. The TV in the room is also quite an old model, so it was not possible to properly connect my phone applications to it. The toilet had a mal functioning so we had to pull the flush for the water to stop leaking every time we used the toilet. On top of the above, the hotel rate/price is quite expensive for not having access to basic and expected services and facilities. I definitely do NOT recommend staying in this hotel. This situation gave me a really bad impression of the Motel One hotel chains.

Very friendly and helpful reception, great bar. The rooms are a bit on the smaller end, but absolutely clean and good enough for a quick business trip. 24h reception is great.
The room itself and the hotel space in general, are well kept, clean and pleasant. Although the room was rather small, it was efficiently designed. We stayed at the 6 floor and the elevator was quick and frequent.
Conveniently located within walking distance of München Ost Bahnhof Station. Friendly and helpful staff. Small rooms that are neat and tidy with all necessary amenities. The rooms are small but sufficient. the beds are comfortable and the internet access adequate. Stayed here on two separate occasions recently and both rooms were brilliant!

Due to an early flight into Munich, we arrived at the Motel around 10:00am. The desk manager knew we'd travelled a long way and immediately arranged rooms we could check into. Unexpected service and just perfect! She also provided us with very handy tips about visiting the city, which was great. Loved staying at Motel One in Munich, friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast.

Good location, good parking garage, fair prices
As always, very nice hotel, friendly staff, and lovely breakfast. The only thing I found frustrating was shower. With a small bathroom like this, having a walk-in shower with just a small glass panel means that everything gets wet and messy.
staff was very friendly and helpful. makes you feel welcome. please get the evening bar man some help. he was working extremely hard to satisfy everyone, but there is only so much 1 person can do.

Wij kiezen al jaarlijks voor motel one voor de uitstekende service en mooie ambiance. Elke keer weer genieten.
Vriendelijk personeel! Goede voorzieningen. Heel fijn dat er een raam/deur open kan worden gezet! *Jammer dat het dekbed los op het bed ligt. Een instopstrook aan de dekbedhoes, óf een langer dekbed zou fijner zijn. Dan kan het dekbed worden bevestigd tijdens het slapen. *jammer dat de afzuiging in de badkamer ‘s nachts niet kan worden uitgezet. Gelukkig is dat bij de airco wel mogelijk! * algehele temperatuur op de kamer is erg hoog. Ik kan niet tegen de airco-lucht dus dat biedt geen goede oplossing voor mij

Hotel München-Haidhausen
Ons hotel in München-Haidhausen, centraal gelegen tussen Ostbahnhof en Rosenheimer Platz, is een fantastische aanvulling op ons aanbod! Inmiddels kun je in de stad München kiezen welk budget-designhotel je van ons wilt bezoeken. Daar komt de tiende accommodatie met een turkoois kleurenthema in een van de meest traditionele en charmante delen van de stad bij. In de 17e eeuw was Haidhausen een herbergwijk voor de werkende bevolking. De wijk was ook essentieel voor de ontwikkeling van de typische restaurant- en biertuincultuur in München, omdat de plaatselijke brouwerijen de keldergewelven op de Isarhochufer gebruikten om hun bier te koelen. Tegenwoordig bevindt zich hier het Gasteig, het culturele centrum van München, dat tevens de zetel van de Münchner Philharmoniker is. Bovendien bevindt de zetel van het Beierse parlement zich hier boven de Isar met het Maximilianeum. Aan bezienswaardigheden in de directe omgeving van ons hotel in München is dus absoluut geen tekort.
Kleine quizvraag: Waarom heet Haidhausen ook wel de Franse wijk? Er zijn hier inderdaad wel veel Franse restaurants en boetieks te vinden. Maar de echte reden is echter dat de straten rond Ostbahnhof in 1872 naar plaatsen werden vernoemd van veldslagen in de Duits-Franse oorlog van 1870/71 die door de Duitsers werden gewonnen. Het halfronde Orleansplatz, de Belfort- of de Lothringerstraße en het Pariser Platz getuigen daarvan. Voor het ontwerp van ons hotel hebben we de Franse invloed in het interieur verwerkt in de kleurstelling, kunst aan de muur en charmante details en hebben we ons laten inspireren door de levensstijl van de ambachts- en kunstenaarswijk. Onze smeedijzeren scheidingswanden in de lounge bijvoorbeeld, die doen denken aan de balkons in de oude stijl die hier zo vaak worden aangetroffen, zijn geen toeval. Maar er valt nog meer te ontdekken. Daarom moet je je na ons stevige biologische ontbijt klaarmaken om München te gaan verkennen. Maar geen zorgen, 's avonds wacht er een comfortabele kamer met een warme douche en een prachtig boxspringbed op jou.
Om je stadsverkenning te plannen, is er gratis wifi beschikbaar - maar ook ons vriendelijke personeel helpt je daar graag bij. Het centrum en de oude stad zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer vanuit ons budgethotel in Haidhausen. Via Rosenheimer Platz en Ostbahnhof heb je een directe verbinding met de S-Bahn-hoofdlijn en de metro. In slechts een paar minuten ben je op de Marienplatz en op de Viktualienmarkt, bij het centraal station van München of - let op, beste vrienden van het Oktoberfest! - op de Theresienwiese. Met de S-Bahn kun je je bestemming in München of daarbuiten vanaf de luchthaven van München goed bereiken. Je kunt echter ook te voet via de Rosenheimer Straße in de richting van het stadscentrum lopen. Deze loopt rechtstreeks over de Gasteig naar de Isarauen. Hier ligt het Müller'sche Volksbad - een van de mooiste jugendstil-baden van Europa. Daar kun je in een historische omgeving zwemmen - of je kunt het Deutsches Museum recht tegenover het hotel bezoeken.
Als je na het bezoeken van bezienswaardigheden, na het winkelen of na een stressvolle werkdag trek krijgt, vind je direct voor het hotel tal van mogelijkheden om je honger te stillen. Vanwege zijn nuchtere, gezellige karakter zijn er in de wijk Haidhausen in de loop der eeuwen tal van cafeetjes, pensions, restaurants en bars ontstaan. En ook anders is er het hele jaar door genoeg te doen. Bij de Auer Dult op de Mariahilfplatz is er van de lente tot de herfst een drukke markt, terwijl in de winter op de Weißenburger Platz een van de meest populaire kerstmarkten in München te vinden is. De traditionele Nockherberg, aan de rand van de wijk Au-Haidhausen, trekt met het Starkbierfest en biertuinen en kan met de tram of metro in slechts een paar minuten worden bereikt. Moderne stedelijke lifestyle en het traditionele van de Beierse stad - beiden gaan hand in hand en zijn rond ons designhotel München Haidhausen te vinden. Wij heten je van harte welkom!
