Excellent location, right beside central train station and very close proximity to all the sights. This is a hip and trendy hotel with lovely attention to detail and impressive customer care . And very reasonably priced . Well done, Motel One 👏👏👏

Excellent value, friendly and helpful staff. Check out not until 12 noon which was great for us as we had all day in the city before travelling onto our next location. Really nice reception and bar area, drinks priced reasonably and a lovely area to sit for an hour before going for our train
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location for the train station but of course the area around the station was quite down to earth (as is usaully the case).
Overall, the room was just as good as it had been during all our previous stays, but this time the bathroom smelled terribly of sewage.
Room and everything was fine. Service not that much, they seemed stressed and not that welcoming. Anyways, will come back
I had a really great time in the Motel One München Hauptbahnhof. Very good location, kind reception, tasty breakfasts and cosy room. If I could advice something, it would be great to organise the restaurant on the ground floor. In addition, the turning on light and TV shouldn't be dependent on the putting on the room card to the reader. To sum up, I can recommend this hotel for everyone.
A lot of people checking in at the same moment delayed process.
Check in went well and then room was clean. However the thing that was a bummer for me was that the AC didnt work as expected, it was hot in munich and sometimes the AC turned off without reason even if I had card inside the key card power switch and I had the ac turned to the setting where it is always on. So the room didnt cool down properly. I asked the staff if they could check it but there was no response or message sent to me after the check like a note or something would have been ok. Without this AC stuff stay would have been 10/10. But I had bit poor sleep because of the hot room.
We had a short stay and were very pleased with the simple yet very modern room. There was plenty of space for two people during a short stay. The location next to the central train station is perfect. It’s only a short walk to Karlsplatz.

Cleaning personal is very friendly and hardworking. My room was very clean. Personal in the reception is not so kind. Specially Giuseppe is very arrogant and unpolite. He has no idea about good service or nice manners. He prefers primitive behaviour and taunted me on purpose. I wonder how he is allowed to work such an important position in a hotel.
The area especially during night time was unsecured. The rate was higher than other hotels of motel one.
Love Motel One, design - location - price rate is the best.
Good location and great well designed rooms - nice area in lobby. Most staff efficient but friendly. Couldn’t turn off the underfloor heating in the bathroom even though it was 36c outside!

This was the best Motel One that we have stayed in with regards to being spotlessly clean, very well designed and chic, and ideally located. The reason for the inadequate 1 score was entirely due to the room air condition being totally ineffective / non-existent / broken?? After the first night, I reported the issue to the front desk and a technician was sent to the room. Unfortunately, there was no improvement and the room remained far warmer than the common areas and even the outside. While you could get a few C relief by fully opening the windows, you still couldn't sleep due to the room being still way too warm plus then you got the expected typical city noise. Apparently there were no other options, so we remained in the room for the next few nights. in retrospect, this was a poor decision on our part as we should have cancelled the room and went elsewhere as the discomfort and lack of sleep took its toll and diminished the experience of touring the wonderful and beautiful Munich. I would possibly consider staying at this hotel again but only in the cold months of the year.

We searched for a hotel specifically guaranteeing air conditioning expecting Munchen to be hot in the summer. We loved the hotel lobby and front desk staff. However for three days we asked for help with our room air conditioning. At all times our room was warmer than the hotel hallway even after 24 hours of running the A/C at 10 degrees! The maintenance person said he fixed it but we were overheated at night and could not sleep. Very sad about that as we would have otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a very small room, the air conditioning wasnt good so we opened the window. Very noisy street at night. The safe wasnt working either. Staff not particularly helpful

Location is great, room was quiet and comfortable, lobby is very nicely designed. Room was a bit smaller than you'd normally expect but that is not untypical for motel one, and it was still well layed out. I wish they had more indirect lighting instead of the harsh lamps by the bedside. The under floor heating in the bathroom couldn't be turned off, which made the room a bit warm especially in summer. The shower hose that connects to the shower head was leaking, something I didn't really except in newly opened hotel as there shouldn't have been any wear and tear like that yet. Also the TV just turned on automatically and played relaxing music, when you entered the room and inserted the card for electricity. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything else. The screen was always black and I wasn't able to change it to anything else with the remote.
Another wonderful stay at Hotel One. This hotel is relatively new and in a great location. As always, it was immaculately clean, and the staff were lovely. Wherever possible, we return to Hotel One Hotels, as they are great value and consistently good.

Service poor, employees poorly trained
Great property, 5 mins walk from main train station. Comfy beds, extremely quiet, spotlessly clean. The rooms are on the small side, but perfectly ok for a one or two night stopover.
I love motel one but we had a few glitches. First of all this motel is a lovely oasis in the hubbub around the train station. Reception was lovely. However our toilet seat was not attached and slid treacherously almost landing me on the floor. As it was evening, there was no housekeeping. Also our door locked but the extra bolt didn’t work. And the room was hot and it was not possible to regulate the temperature without opening a window (I find this latter issue common to motel ones ) Having said that, the issues were one off and I would happily return.

Het designhotel München-Hauptbahnhof in het centrum van de stad
Welkom in München, de hoofdstad van Beieren en misschien wel de mooiste stad van de deelstaat. Bijna nergens zit je zo centraal als in ons nieuwe hotel in de stad, Motel One München-Hauptbahnhof. En zoals de naam al zegt, ligt het vlakbij het station. Vanaf hier is het slechts een korte wandeling naar de Karlsplatz, ook bekend als Stachus, als het begin van het voetgangersgebied, alsmede naar de Marienplatz, de Theatinerstraße of de Odeonsplatz.
Voor het Oktoberfest in München? Dan kun je het beste meteen in ons hotel bij het centraal station je overnachting voor het Oktoberfest boeken, want het Oktoberfest-terrein op de Theresienwiese is ook te voet bereikbaar. Voor alles wat je te voet wilt verkennen maar niet meer in het centrum ligt, kun je de bus, tram, metro of S-Bahn direct bij het hotel gebruiken. De ligging is niet alleen ideaal voor een citytrip, maar ook voor de heenreis. Vanaf de luchthaven van München is het minder dan 45 minuten met de S-Bahn en de heenreis met de ICE of regionale trein is ook supereenvoudig.
Maar niet alleen toeristen en concertgangers profiteren van de centrale ligging, ook zakenreizigers waarderen de voordelen van het voordelige designhotel bij het centraal station. Dankzij de uitstekende vervoersverbindingen zijn vergader- en kantoorlocaties gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Doordacht design in het Hotel München-Hauptbahnhof: Van koning Lodewijk II tot de moderne tijd
Nu we het er toch hebben: groen speelt ook in het design van dit hotel een grote rol. Verwijzingen naar de sprookjesachtige wintertuin van koning Lodewijk II en creatieve pop-up tuinen van de stad München zorgen voor een unieke sfeer in het hotel.
Voor de achtergrond hiervan duiken we even in de geschiedenis van de stad. De geschiedenis laat zien dat koning Lodewijk II vanaf 1867 een privé-serre liet aanleggen op zijn residentie, die een soort tropisch paradijs moest voorstellen. Naast talrijke plantensoorten was er ook een kunstmatig aangelegd meer met zwanen op het grote complex te vinden.
En deze unieke, magische wereld op het dak van zijn residentie wordt in ons hotel niet alleen weerspiegeld door de vele planten, maar ook door de gebloemde bekleding van de stoelen en fauteuils. De lampen in de lobby zijn met oog voor detail ontworpen en doen denken aan grote bladeren en planten, zodat er een knusse sfeer wordt gecreëerd. Een andere blikvanger in het hotel is de bar. Hier is de interpretatie van een tuinpaviljoen verwerkt en je kunt er ook een portret van koning Lodewijk II vinden.
Dit stijlvol ontworpen hotel biedt een oase van rust te midden van de drukte rond het centraal station van München. Hoewel het hotel midden in de bruisende stad staat, kun je heerlijk ontspannen in de lobby, die ook bedoeld is als pop-up tuin.
München is een levendige stad waar veel te ontdekken valt. De beste manier om je verblijf in het centrum van München te plannen, is om bij het ontbijt gebruik te maken van onze gratis wifi. Ons ontbijtbuffet biedt overigens een ruime keuze aan vele biologische producten en ook heerlijke koffie of thee. Op deze manier kun je de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden niet missen. Dankzij de uitstekende ligging in het centrum van München, vlakbij het centraal station, is het gemakkelijk om kunst, cultuur, cafés en musea te verkennen. Gelukkig is de weg naar een bar of het nachtleven van München comfortabel en kort. Ook voor culinaire hoogtepunten hoef je niet ver te lopen. Dankzij de optimale ligging in de buurt van het centrum is er voor elk wat wils.
En wie na een uitgebreide shoppingtour of een vermoeiende werkdag vol vergaderingen gewoon terug wil naar het hotel, kan nog genieten van een afzakkertje in onze hotelbar. Daarna gaat het naar boven naar de kamer, naar wens ook met anti-allergene kussens en dekens voor een goede nachtrust. Wij zien je graag terug in ons designhotel in München!
